The staff were all very nice and welcoming and helpful. As for the room it looked like it had seen better days. The bathroom had cracked tiles and there was zero water pressure in the shower and at one point the water turned off all together. There was one single desk chair in the room and we had to bring in the balcony chairs inside just to have somewhere to sit down. I’m sure this room used to be nice when the hotel was first build but it looks like they haven’t done any refreshing or updating of the rooms since. Also we were kind of surprised at the lack of amenities. There was no pool. The gym was unavailable and there really just wasn’t anything on property other than the spa which we didn’t visit. A lot of money for a run down hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at The Marina Resort. One of the best things about this property is its ideal location. It’s perfectly situated close to several great restaurants and some of Antigua’s most beautiful attractions, including Nelson’s Dockyard and Pigeon Beach. Everything you’d want to explore is just a short walk or drive away, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. What I really appreciated was how well they’ve preserved the old-fashioned, historic charm of the property. It feels authentic and unique, and the grounds are very well maintained. There’s something special about the classic Caribbean style and the peaceful marina setting that gives the whole place a timeless atmosphere.

The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and always willing to assist with anything needed, which really added to the overall positive experience.

The only small downside is that the bathrooms aren’t very modern. For younger travelers who love bright lighting, big mirrors for photos, or a nice setup for doing makeup, the bathrooms might feel a little basic. That said, they’re clean, functional, and there is reliable hot water, so it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the stay.

Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay if you appreciate character, history, and a fantastic location close to some of the best spots in the area.

We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay! We knew from reviews that it would be basic, and were disappointed to find on arrival that the only amenities it DOES have - the spa and the gym - were both out of use. Despite this, we loved our stay. We aren't too fussed by hotels, as we prefer to be up and out, so just need a clean place to stay. Our room was very spacious, clean, with a generously sized bathroom and large bed, which was firm (something we prefer.) The pillows were rock hard, however, so we couldn't use these. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and although the surrounding area is vibrant/noisy, we found the resort to largely be peaceful and tranquil. There is a brilliant tea station in the courtyard (a must for us Brits!) as well as a water machine, which was so useful for refilling our bottles.

The negatives would be that the walls are paper thin, or at least in our part of the resort, and we could hear our neighbours often. Additionally, the area is VERY noisy at night, and you will need good earplugs if you're to get any sleep. I am a light sleeper and was anxious about the live music across the road, but we bought silicone earplugs and I slept like a baby every night! Just make sure you're prepared, and you'll be fine.

We would 100% stay again. There are lots of local food options, a supermarket, car rentals, Pigeon Point beach and Nelson's Dockyard are only 10 minute walks away! A perfect, affordable base for exploring English Harbour!

We really love it and have stayed often. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and courteous. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and have been carefully renovated in recent times. The view of the marina is constantly changing and the location is perfect for visiting restaurants and bars in the evening. Falmouth is a great place for visiting other areas of the island.

The location is great!! Lots of bars, restaurants and some shopping. Beach is about a 15 minute walk. Our hotel room on main floor adjacent to hotel lobby was extremely noisy and you can hear guests in next room. It's not a luxury or renovated as the hotel website states and has very basic amenities. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Staying at this property was overall a good experience, the staff were very very nice and very accommodating. The rooms are decent and the property is located near to the harbour and restaurants. That's also the issue though, it's located next to some extremely loud entertainment venues which don't stop their music until late, sometimes the early hours. It's almost impossible to sleep before 1am on some nights.

Worth a stay for sure if you're looking for entertainment, nice staff, convenience and great views but don't expect to sleep soundly every night.

I’ve stayed here several times before in the suites. This is the first time I got a regular room that was on the first floor. The room was in need of a little bit of renovation. They have new mattresses and pillows, but they’re extra firm which is a bit uncomfortable.

We had an ocean view it’s walkable to a lot of places. But they have no access to the beach we had to walk 10 minutes it will be nice if they had a shuttle service going to the beach and going to the city. They have no pool and no dining options inside the hotel.

I requested ground floor, no climbing. I check-in online giving info about arrival time, etc. Online checkin info was lost. At 3:00pm we were taken to the room 31 with a buggy and I was 5 minutes away from a heart attack.
The speed and rough reverse drive up the hill had me praying not to get a vertigo attack or a heart attack. We were so high up that it was impossible to walk down or walk back up. We remained in the room and sadly my waterfront dinner that we planned was tea in the room. We check out early and then went for breakfast. A resort with one small lobby, one couch and a small table with tea/coffee. No consideration for health request. Positively the worse accoomodation in my 50 years of travelling. If you are healthy and can climb hills then this might not be a bad place for you. Receptionist could not be any worse.

We loved our room; so much space and the views were magnificent. It is a long haul up a steep hotel, but the staff are there with golf buggies to ferry you up and down. It is noisy however late evenings, mainly due to the sports bar next door, but the only real problem was Karaoke night! Hotel does provide ear plugs if you want an early, quiet night. NO food onsite, but plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars close by.

Lovely hotel with wonderful views

The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the Yacht Club with a table on chairs on the balcony Our room was a good size as was the shower room. We had asked for a room on the ground floor close to the lobby and they delivered. The rooms are on a hillside and apart from the short distance to the road they offer a golf cart type buggy to take you up to the higher levels.
Free tea and coffee is available 24 hours in the lobby but there was no bar or restaurant on site. However dining options are only 2 minutes walk away.

Staying at the Yacht Club is like sleeping AT the nightclub. I'm not talking minor sound disturbance or simply a constant thuding from the beat. The room's windows don't have any soundproofing at all and the neighbouring outdoor nightclub has 0 restrictions on how loud they allow their music. The music will fully cover the sound of your room's TV. The nightmare doesn't seem to stop at any time of the night.
What a pity, because the property would be wonderful otherwise.
I will definitely not stay here again and unless you're planning to party all night every night, neither should you.

Unfortunately, how our room was situated left a lot to be desired because we could hear as other guest had to traverse past our room to get to theirs and also could hear the restaurant cleaning somehow. Also the beds are hard so if you like a hard mattress this is good.

Getting to the hotel by airport taxi was fairly easy. The room was cleaned every day, I enjoyed my aromatherapy back massage at the hotel spa. Most of my breakfast was at the restaurant on the English harbor and enjoyed that too. I had a lovely balcony room overlooking the harbor so that was nice! I would definitely visit again sometime in the future!

There was NO HOT WATER for my entire stay. I was brought to the staff’s attention whim in an hour of checkin and was not fixed by checkout.
There was a dog on the property that barked the entire night into the morning and the bar next door played very LOUD music until around 1 am. Because there are technically only windows at the front, the screens allow all the sound from outside in.
The room was clean but smelt like an ashtray in the kitchen, likely a past guest emptied it and the smell lingered. Otherwise the room was clean.
The staff was friendly but didn’t do a thing regarding the issues in the end.
Disappointing if you want to sleep and clean up properly.

Lovely Caribbean feel right in the heart of the Falmouth Harbor sailing scene. Gorgeous four poster platform bed with old world feel. Be aware that parking would be a problem, but we didn’t drive - cabs are easy to get. It is set on a steep hill so unless you stay in the main building you need to be able to negotiate the inclines. Finally, windows are just louvers and screens, not glass so the minisplit AC helps with cooling but not true air con.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and well kept. The area had lots of restaurants around, however, because we went during the slow season, some of the time they weren’t open. The beach was about a 7 minute walk away and you could get beach towels from the front desk if you ask. The staff at the restaurant next to the place even exchanged some currency for us! Overall, a really good place to stay.

The wallah are paper thin. I could hear everything my next door neighbors said or did! I could ever hear their yawning !!!
The room specially the toilet was not clean. There were some residue from last guest and I told the reception about so they arrange for the cleaning. I came back to the room a few hours later to find it on the same condition. I complained again to another employee at the front desk and she went and cleaned it herself.
There are many hotels in the area I’m sure you’ll find a better option elsewhere.

The comfort level was basic with refrigerator in the room, but coffee in common area only. The only issue was the loud banging of the doors during housekeeping hours. It started early in the morning until housekeeping finished their job in late afternoon. Other than that, it was quite pleasant.

Walkways within hotel are very steep and crooked, so, if you have to walk to your room within property, it's difficult. The staff can give you ride in golf cart (it feels likean amusement park ride ;) )

Amazing Marina View

The staff at the resort are friendly and provide helpful information about the area. We were there during the off-season and there are plenty of things to do. We were happy to have a room with a kitchen to cook on nights we were not interested in going out. The room is 3 times the size of an average hotel room. The view is amazing and there is always a taxi available to explore the island. The marina has a few restaurants in the area and the supermarket is within walking distance. The massage was a big treat for us. We will definitely return.

Yacht Club is a Gem!!

Yacht Club is an AWESOME place to stay. All the employees were great and accommodating. Great local restaurants and bars in walking distance. We only stayed 1 night as a layover before heading to Royalton Resort but we would come here to stay on a extended vacation.

Accommodations were ok for the money, the service and attitude not as much. I asked to store a bag prior to my stay. The lady at the front desk made me feel it was an imposition. When I retrieved it, late in the evening and tired, they front desk guy made me diggit from the back moving a lot of luggage put in front, saw mw struggling and did nothing to offer help. Please and thank you are words that seem to be forbidden from front desk staff, and it feels they are allowing you the privilege to stay there.

There was a lot that my partner and I enjoyed about our stay here— close walk to an array of restaurants, bars and beautiful beaches, nearby supermarkets, multiple car rental services, friendly and helpful staff and a spacious room with a kitchen.

The only things to note were that we didn’t realize until our arrival that the breakfast available for purchase was across from the buildings with the reception and rooms itself and within a seperate building on the harbour area. There were many mosquitoes in our room the first few nights (which I believe may have been due to the open slots between the room’s doors not hitting the floor) but was resolved after the cleaners sprayed the room. Neighbours’ sounds were very audible through the walls.

Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
