This hotel was amazing. Nestled on a hill between two beaches, the setting and views are stunning. We decided to spend all of our time here as we needed to recharge and it was pure paradise. We spend the early day at Jolly Harbour beach and watched the sunset every day at Valley Church beach. The food was amazing. The staff were lovely. They were quick to respond with anything we needed. George was super friendly and helped us on several occasions. Highly recommend this little Paradise.

My spouse and I spent our honeymoon at COCOS Hotel in Antigua, and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness.

We stayed in one of the Sunset View Cottages, and the view was nothing short of breathtaking — every evening felt like a private show put on by the Caribbean sky. The cottage itself was spacious, beautifully designed with natural wood and open-air touches, and the outdoor shower overlooking the ocean was a dream come true.

The staff at COCOS truly made our stay unforgettable. Every single person we met went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special — from the personalized welcome drinks to the candlelit dinner they surprised us with on our last night. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in creating a romantic, relaxing experience.

The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each meal felt like dining at a fine restaurant, yet it had that cozy, intimate island feel. The cocktails were just as good. I lost count of how many daiquiris were had.

We loved how peaceful and private the entire resort felt. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and authenticity — no crowds, no noise, just the sound of waves and the feeling that you’re in your own little paradise.

COCOS Hotel exceeded every expectation and gave us memories we’ll cherish forever.

I knew as soon as I saw Coco’s that I needed to stay there. I planned a relaxing trip to Antigua for my husband‘s 40th birthday and Coco’s made it one of our favorite vacations. The property was beautifully taken care of, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, each and every meal was absolutely delicious. We had so much privacy during our entire stay. I highly recommend a cottage with a pool. We stayed in our cottage/pool most of our trip. We were on the bayside and it was beautiful! We showered outdoors looking out into the ocean everyday. We had a very short walk to the dining area but if you have a longer walk I’d definitely recommend flat shoes. Our view was of the beach and beautiful water. Each meal was over the water in the dining room. We had fresh juices and fruits with every breakfast, every meal we had tasted very fresh and so delicious. Just writing this review is making me want to go back to Coco’s, and we definitely will. We went in July, the weather was perfect and everyone said it was the best time to come. We went to Shirley’s point but I wished we had stayed at Coco’s. The crowds were too crazy there and it wasn’t worth leaving. If your looking for privacy and relaxation with perfect weather and beautiful views with your significant other I couldn’t recommend Coco’s more!

We liked the resort because it was small and only had 50 cottages. We had minor issues with the quirky outdoor shower that seemed to have a mind of its own and the AC unit which would not respond to input from the remote. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was kept stocked with what we needed. There was a nearby stage set up on our first night that blared music constantly from 4pm until after midnight. Thankfully it was only one night or our stay would have been terrible. There is only one main restaurant but the menu changes nightly and every meal was excellent.

Had a wonderful stay here. Front desk personnel and nighttime bartender are FABULOUS. Beautiful property and well maintained landscaping. I had an amazing time and would happily stay here again. Loved every meal, especially at the Sunset Grill. Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, corn hole, yoga classes, nightly entertainment and cooking lessons are all included and ensure you never get bored. I stayed at Cocos for 7 days and only did one day of excursions because of how much fun and relaxation is offered right on the property. Pool should be cleaned more frequently but very few people use it due to the plunge pools so it is understandably not a priority. While some staff are exceptional, others seem bothered and service can be quite slow in the restaurant. Also the website gives a menu to a “Cockle Shell Grill” that does not exist. It was quite disappointing to only have two choices of eateries when you are expecting three. Cats on the beach are ADORABLE and made my day however they can make Valley Church Beach quite smelly as it is obvious they use the bushes / sand in that area as a litter box.

It wasnt quite the hype we read on reviews. Very quiet and peaceful. While we did watch the video.... there truly is very limited entertainment and food selection. If you are used to other resorts with more options and you like that.. this is NOT where you want to go. Beaches are public, so you are asked 10x a day if you want to buy something, excursion, etc. Some staff are friendly, some seem annoyed. Omario the bartender was GREAT! My husband had a hair in his food not once but twice. Due to all the rainfall, they had to bulldoze the beach and open a ravine leading out to the ocean. Which caused a horrible smell on jolly beach, and looked very unappealling( this isnt a fault of theirs, just an fyi if you plan to go soon). The view is unmatched. Absolutely beautiful.

Cocos was a beautiful resort. The reviews don’t lie that you will get your exercise in. Some rooms require lots of climbing and steps. We figured we needed it, but don’t forget anything. Food was good not fantastic, but for an all inclusive I think it was perfect. Drinks were great. We spent lots of time on the beach (106 steps you weren’t running back and forth.) No beach service, but it was only steps away. Views were unbeatable, sunsets breathe taking. We would consider a trip back here. Our safe never worked, but our belongings were fine, towels weren’t always the easiest to get, but again we figured it out. Gift shop is very limited and very expensive if you think you might need it bring it. Great entertainment a couple nights!

Coco‘s is one of a kind and we have been to this resort twice. We are usually the larger all-inclusive travelers in Mexico or Dominican Republic. At first, we were not sure that we would enjoy Coco‘s because it was so small and only had one restaurant, but we had totally changed our minds on that Only one restaurant but such a great variety of food every meal every day. The menu is changed and there’s always a special board for each meal. They have added a small grill on one side of the beach for burgers, hotdogs, chips, fish sandwiches, etc. this is a very nice perk. This resort only has 44 cottages spread out very quiet. Very unique. I call this rustic charm. The rooms are comfortable spacious, but they are a bit outdated. Don’t be expecting any modern amenities at this resort. Room service is available at a fee, but we did not require that. We could not wait for each meal. This resort requires the individuals to be physically fit as there is a lot of steep walking hills to get to and from the beach to your cabana, no matter how low you are on the mountain. There are also staircases that go down to the beach. The staff overall was amazing a couple people had attitudes but The other people made up for big time. Bars made very nice drinks and there was nightly entertainment. We tried to stay awake for that. It was tough after being on the beach all day every day. We are going to plan to go to Coco‘s again in the future!

The property is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Not a place Togo to if you're looking for adventure, party, or late entertainment. They only had live bands and singers, menu although all-inclusive is only a selected set menu by day. (No buffet like other locations) no tubs ONLY covered wall outdoor shower with open rooftop to see stars for bathing. Which was an experience… but when it rains outside it is the only place for you to shower rain or shine. This is a location that forces you to relax. Beaches are beautiful, pool left things to be desired, in room plunge pool was amazing. Well worth the upgrade for one.

The property had a ton of deferred maintenance including broken and noisy A/C and refrigerator units, which kept us awake. In addition, you need to be a mountain goat to get to the rooms and beach. Small all-inclusive resort offers a unique Caribbean experience. Picturesque individual cottages are peppered on a hill and offer different attractions. We had sunset room 16, which is midway between the two sides of the resort, and has a nice balcony and outdoor shower. The beaches on either side of the resort are unreal - turquoise waters and fine white sand perfect for swimming, crazy scenery – these beaches are some of the finest I’ve seen. The bars (three) are generally always open and happy to stir you up a cocktail. The people working at this property are extremely hospitable folks and many went out of their way to make the experience special (Anisha and Waseba come to mind). The one restaurant is limited and a sit down experience but keep in mind there are only about 45 cottages, so it works, giving the eating experience a grade of civility and class. The nature is amazing, the place is exotic by many standards and we loved our stay. Is it for everyone? No, but it’s about what you are looking for. Being the resort is on a hill, it means you have to walk on some steep inclines (plus stairs) to get from the rooms to the two beaches and restaurant. Unless there are mobility issues this shouldn’t deter anyone. The real issue is the fact that these pathways (up and down from the rooms) get slippery when wet, and it rains often enough – I slipped a few times in flip flops going down to breakfast. The food is ok, and superbly presented, but in my view, just mediocre.

Loved the atmosphere the sights . The dinners were good- apps small get 1 each of sharing . No phone in rooms make sure you have front desk number / info for anything that you may need. Get ready for you calves to burn a little if your on the hill and do to the valley church side beach . It was good exercise for all the drinking and eating ! StafF was friendly and the best . I would suggest booking catamarans/ trips with front desk . Larry on the beach had lobster dinners .

Cocos is definitely a very chill resort. It’s meant for couples who want to relax. It has great beaches away from the crowds and live music every night. The food was decent but not my favorite. The service was mostly good but not always the friendliest. The rooms were rustic, but they’re meant to be. And the outside shower was fun to use. The resort is basically on the side of a mountain so there are steep walkways or stairs everywhere. We didn’t mind but could be hard for mobility issues. They did have golf carts for transporting guests, I believe. Overall, for the price it was great to try.

They took great care of us and made it a special day. Only negative is, depending on your room, you may have to walk up a steep incline to get to your room. It was nice overall as long as you knew what to expect in terms of the \"rustic\" feel/upkeep of the property. It felt a little like \"glamping\" but in a tropical setting. If you love a beautiful, clean, beach with crystal aqua water and lovely lush florals/greenery everywhere, this is the place for you. No true complaints here. But also nothing amazing/exceptional in terms of food quality, amenities, accommodations, service etc. Small annoyances such as running out of various food/drink, listening to staff chatting and thus waiting 1 hr for a burger at the grill, running out of beach towels, huge gaps in doorways that let bugs in the cottage, etc. Not a place for luxury. Definitely quiet and relaxing, though. And yes, everywhere there are steep hills to climb. Most staff friendly or at least polite abd we tipped constantly. Never a fight for a beach lounger or a wait for a table. Drinks were made pretty strong. The views and beach are fantastic.

I would definitely recommend! My bestie and I went, so you don’t have to be a couple. Although, it was a little awkward at first because people thought her and i were together, but they started to realize we were just friends and it was all good lol but yes, beach is beautiful, if you are wondering why it’s so expensive: the food. it’s amazing. it’s not normal all include food, the chef really takes her time on it. i definitely recommend!

Rooms need updating. They are old, smelly and musty. The shower was outside (which was good as a concept) but there were a lot of mosquitoes around making showering a challenge. The staff were friendly and they tried to do their best, but lacked training. The food was like in a 2 star hotel. Just sweet and spicy. There was no French or Italian cuisine. We asked for fruit after lunch, but they only offered it for breakfast. All juice was from concentrate. We started having lunch at some point in the surrounding restaurant because the food was pretty much the same every day. At least the beach and sea was wonderful.

The property is amazingly beautiful. It is rustic and not for anyone with mobility challenges but the views in every direction are breathtaking. We had an opportunity to stay in a bay-view pool cottage for the first half of the trip and a sunset-view pool cottage for the second half. Both views were great, but we slightly preferred the bay view just because the view had more character. Both cottages were rustic but very well done. The double outdoor show was so amazing! We just got back (early May) and it was HOT and Humid. Most staff were nice, but some were really nice and some were not very friendly. Overall however it was a great experience. Food was very good and for a single restaurant they offered a nice variety.

I have written 3 different reviews, between Google, trip advisor and now Expedia because people have to know how amazing this place is. I had already written two other reviews before my last experience with this hotel happened. On the day of checkout I left my phone at the resort and was at the airport before I realized. Every member of this resort plus TSA workers and cab drivers all worked collectively to get me my phone back. I was sobbing in gratitude. This resort is 20 star. The staff is amazing and caters to your every need within reason. The food! Every meal I had was amazing, I had even rated the lunch a 5/10 before I had their jerk chicken. Omg. When I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I would go back every anniversary/birthday/or a random Tuesday. It’s a bucket list place. I will say the hikes to the rooms is a workout, like a Cross fit workout. So bring 2 things, a power strip for all your electronics and good walking shoes as I promise you there will be no heels at this resort

I CANNOT say enough positive things about COCOS Hotel. My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon there and we will definitely be making a return visit. I had never been out of the country before this trip, so this was a great first experience to have from start to finish.

We were in a sunset pool room and it was worth every penny. As you can see from photos even the cloudy weather that greeted us was gorgeous. The room smelled clean and everything was very well appointed. The shower being outside threw me initially, but it was very enjoyable. Rooms are turned top to bottom every day, so each time we came back to our room, it felt like we were checking in all over again (in a good way).

The meals were fantastic. Portion sizes are perfect, if not too much at times. The service is great and very proper/professional. Meals are more leisurely because they don’t have to turn the tables to accommodate all guests, so it was a great change of pace.

Typically, we would gather in the sitting area of the resort after dinner as they had entertainment from 8-10 each night. From a super cool, vibey saxophonist to a full band that got everyone up and dancing, there was truly a little something for everyone. It was also a great way to meet people if you wanted to socialize.

We lazed on the beach (Jolly Harbor side) most days and got well-acquainted with Shereen and Nicolett. They make killer drinks and are so much fun!

We really loved the atmosphere of this resort. Although it was more rustic than other resorts that we have stayed at in the Caribbean, it was charming and comfortable and we enjoyed it. The views were spectacular from everywhere on the property, especially the open-air restaurant that was was perched above the water and had endless views. The food was very good and seemed more authentically local that other resorts we have stayed at, but with plenty of variety. There were 2 beautiful beaches. The staff was the friendliest we have ever encountered, not just in the Caribbean, but anywhere! Highly recommended.

Beautiful views. I like the indoor/outudoor living of the cottages. We traveled in January I am not sure how much I would enjoy the indoor/outdoor living if we came in summer. It may be too hot for mr to shower outside.
Cottages were very clean. They leave you with bug spray, disinfected spray, little touches we have not experienced before.

Food was excellent! Everything we ate was delicious.

There are water coolers and ice all around the resort and they provide stainless steel water bottles - also a nice touch.

The resort is literally embedded into a hillside - be prepared to walk steep hills, and a lot of steps. This resort is not for someone who cannot ger around easily.

The property was nothing short of amazing, the only downfall is the Hike in which you have to undertake. You will leave fit or tired in the end. The staff were simply the Best Aniza and Nikisha in the Bar we’re SUPERB, the beach grill chef who they called Banky was just a great. My overall stay was great and would recommend anytime.

We had an amazing 5 days at Cocos hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. The property is nestled in a hillside so the walking within the property depending we’re your cottage is can be a little challenging ( hills and steps). The outdoor showers were amazing probably the best part of our room.. Love that all the cottages have an amazing view of the beautiful ocean. And the hammock on the balcony was super relaxing. We would love to return. Marcia at the bar on the beach is a love.. She went above and beyond and made our trip fun.

Fantastic location! Views are unbeatable! Good workout walking property. They do warn you about it, so take heed, can be strenuous climb.
As for the food… We are vegan and they assured us it would not be an issue, it was. Most of the staff were unaware of our dietary restrictions and it made for too many uncomfortable situations in the dining room.
Too bad because it’s a beautiful resort.

Let me start by saying my Expedia status (which I believe is the lowest status available) got us a free upgrade to an oceanfront cottage with its own pool. Amazing!
This is the single greatest resort we have ever been to. Every aspect was perfection. I’m reassessing my 403b to see how I can retire here. I’m only half joking. But seriously, book Cocos right now! You won’t regret it.

The property was amazing. Also having fairly private access to 2 large beaches was very convenient. Unmatched views!!! Also, the all-inclusive food was fantastic (the drinks too)! Highly recommended especially if you arent trying to be around kids with it being an adults only location!
