We loved our stay at the Royalton Chich hotel. The property was very nice and clean and had many amenities. The rooms are nice and specious and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated the coffee shop, where you can get a nice cup of coffee, a snack or pastry at any time of the day. My stay at the Chic Royalton was amazing check in and out was seamless with great help with front desk clerk Aja! She was a Gem and made my stay memorable. The room upon check did smell mildewing but staff acted immediately to accommodate and the food from the coffee shop was good, buffet was mediocre, Vespa’s had the best food option and Olympus appetizer were really good!! Hunt steak was underwhelming and food came out warm and took a while. Overall experience was 8/10 highly recommended. All inclusive food isn’t always the best so explore options off of the resort to maximize experience in Antigua.

Overall I had a great experience at the Royalton Chic Antigua. The Fit Team was fantastic. I loved the daily aquafit! The Vibe Team did a great job keeping the atmosphere lively.

For food there were a few areas that could be improved. I really enjoyed the chicken parm at Vespa, but the pasta sauce could have been better, and the cacio e Pepe sauce wasn’t great.

The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options, and the flank steak and mashed potatoes at the steakhouse were excellent!

The staff was very accommodating the beach is beautiful. It was like home away from. The rooms are spotless and fridge is always stocked. Everyone is very nice but Ersa goes above and beyond she is very down to earth. Richie the bartender along with the others were fantastic. My family and I had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to visiting again. We also enjoyed the butler service. We also visited Shirley Heights, breathtaking views and the food and music was fantastic. We had a wonderful time.

The location was beautiful, and we had a great time. There was plenty of space and time to relax, along with fun activities throughout each day…especially being hosted by the amazing vibe team. The food was good, and the staff was friendly.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the drink cups at the pool bars were old and cracked. Thankfully, we were told ahead of time to bring our own reusable cups. Also, when certain drinks or items were unavailable, the bar staff didn’t offer alternatives.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The rooms were smaller than expected. The bathrooms on the property near the pool and beach were consistently clogged and unusable. There were times we had to return to our own room to use the restroom. There were mosquitoes in our room and we realize that the door to our room doesn't seal completely. The beach views are picturesque and beautiful.

Aside from some tiles missing in the pool, it was really well maintained. Really enjoyed the foam parties. The beach was nice, but there was a fair amount of sargassum. The buffet was good, lots of choices. Had reservations at each restaurant, not bad, but the steak house leaves room for improvement. Drinks were good, bars seemed to be under staffed at times. Food truck at pool was a great idea, just don’t expect a classic America burger, not bad, just not the same. All the staff was great, really nice. Met some wonderful venders set up on the beach towards the Sandals resort, especially Rhionna and CJ. Watch out for Omar, he likes to gouge you on his prices. 😆 We did the Catamaran sailboat around the island, FANTASTIC! Wadadli Cats, yellow catamaran. Ask for Winston, beach vendor, great guy.

Where do I start 🙄the Food was Horrible so were the staff not helpful at all. There was no top shelf liquor only Tito’s for diamond club members. On top of that I came here to celebrate my birthday and they forgot to accommodate my special day after they were informed about the occasion. There were no buns for the burger 🍔 the breakfast is HORRIBLE!!!!! The best thing to eat on the resort was from the coffee shop. Antiqua is a beautiful place to visit I just don’t recommend this resort for your experience I stayed here for 5 days

Nice property however, they ran out of towels quickly. They have small variety of food and too much pork. No island special fruits and such. Not enough activities or entertainment. During booking it stated night club but there were none. This resort is for the elders and not younger adults. Additionally we were given special Expedia bracelets for some access but were not able to use it. The cruise ship drop off point was at the resort so it made the sea dirty and not desirable to swim

I wish that there were activities to do solo. Kayak or something. I’m a solo traveler. Lovely area. Very well maintained. Food was excellent. Staff was fantastic. Everything easy to find and manageable. Very quick to service needs. I came in from a horrible resort to here due to lack of water, electricity. They got me into an area to shower and a drink in hand asap. Really turned my vacation and vibe around. Great pool bar, beautiful beaches and area. 4.7 stars.
The behavior from a minority of the black bracelets (you wear red or black, black has a butler) was appalling. They must have never travelled or seen anything anywhere before, VERY obnoxious behavior.

Really great hotel, just come back from a week here. New, clean, staff are super friendly and accommodating.
The food was excellent! Slightly annoying that you have to book the restaurants in advance always, it the food is great and good choice too.

Only slight call out is the party aspect, this needs a revamp. Not really a party hotel which was fine for us but if you are looking for a party feel, may not hit the mark.

The staff, especially our butler Kurt, and the hype team at the pool and bartender Ashlee at the Diamond bar were amazing! Restaurants could be difficult to get into especially at an early dinner time! Food in the restaurants was kind of standard all inclusive fair. The facility felt very safe and clean. The beds were pretty firm and could use some more comfortable plush mattresses. The beach was perfect, clean, and ample seating.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. Only issue we had was the 1st room we checked into was very damp and humid, was also on the ground floor by the 2nd pool. The room had a dehumidifier placed in there so we knew it was definitely a problem. They werent able to change our room until the next day but we were pleased with the new room.
As for the drinks, best to buy yourself a bottle because the drinks are watered down.

Try washing your feet when you come off the beach at the showers more sand of the showers that on the beach lol problems with laundry towels one day they ran out entertainment OK but outdoors seats are all wet The bar where they greet you to empty bottles of tequila on the shelf, empty bottle of crown royal no water in the fridge at the greeting centre bars run out of bottled water also for what you pay to go to this resort I recommend you save your money and go elsewhere

So many small things just kept adding up on top of a few big things such as power outages, inability to schedule restaurants on their app, sub par food at the buffet, sub par food at their restaurant, low quality alcohol drinks, upgraded room with pool view was an accessible room with a view of the walkway to the pool.

The grounds were great though and the jerk chicken at the food truck was awesome.

Being a hospitality manager myself I look for great service. That room attendant was awesome, check in to make sure I had everything I needed in my room. Room service food was good. The buffet was ok but i noticed some of the staff leaving silverware on the table after a guest left their sit just because it was not use, all silverware most be removed even if they don’t use it. I did try your Mediterranean restaurant, which I was ever upset at the service. It wasn’t crowded so I expected great service, it took 15 minutes before I was greeted and ask if I wanted a drink, waitress took my order, appetite that came out and after that I was waiting another 25 minutes just for main course waitress never came back to the table with course the host saw I was sitting there and went to check on my food and brought it to me and it wasn’t even hot . Waitress didn’t even come back to check on me to make sure things were good or refill my drink. Staff needed more training. Thank you

The check in procedure for us was not very good. The staff was rude and not helpful. Another staff member not associated with check in saw that we were irritated and offered help. We just got our bags and started to our room and the staff member helped us with our bags. Got to room and keys would not work. Room was not stocked but clean. Resort was beautiful, food was good . Many of the wait staff were just not pleasant at all. One server on the beach named Diane was outstanding, always smiling and helpful. The price we paid for butler service was really not worth it.

We were Diamond Club. The room was lovely with a gorgeous view and the resort staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The best food was on Antigua night, and in general the fish dishes. Otherwise the food was average and we got used to things running out: butter, lemons, bowls. Housekeeping was great, bartenders were wonderful. Lots of beach chairs, sometimes hard to get one under an umbrella. The beach was beautiful with a few sea weedy days.

Swim out room was nice, however not really worth the extra money, unless you just prefer a 1st floor room next to the pool. The staff was nice, however the bars were very short staffed. There were 2 issues.

1. The hotels.com website booked for 2 people but when I got to the resort, they said the room iis for 2 people but the all inclusive is only for 1 person. That's a problem in your website and I need a refund for the 2nd person's meals.

2. Once we arrived at the hotel, we arrived early to let them know we're on the property. We arrived at 11am, and we knew check-in wasn't until 3pm. We patiently waited and then inquired at 3:15 if our room was ready. Until we pushed at 5pm for any available room, we probably would have waited even longer. They had 4 hrs to get a room ready, and it took 6 hrs to actually get it ready. They wouldn't even upgrade us to compensate for their failure to have a room ready.

It was a wonderful week. From the clean room, friendly staff, great facilities, fun entertainment shows to the long beautiful beach where we spent most of the day soaking up that beautiful sunshine. The beach was clean and great to walk out to the water for ocean swims. The aqua show and the 80's rocknroll show had great dancers! It was fun to watch. We enjoyed late evenings chilling in your expansive lobby with friends.

⭐️⭐️ Disappointing and Unacceptable Treatment

We traveled from New York to Royalton CHIC Antigua with a group of 9 adults to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. While the resort itself was nice, our experience at the end of the trip completely overshadowed everything else.

We were originally booked from 1/21–1/25 but chose to leave one day early (1/24) due to an expected major snowstorm in NY. We checked out early, even though our rooms were fully paid for through Sunday.

When we arrived at the airport, our flight was canceled right as we were about to board. After hours of stress trying to rebook flights, we were informed that the next available flight home was not until 1/28. Stranded, exhausted, and with no immediate way home, we returned to Royalton CHIC simply hoping to be placed back into our already-paid rooms for the night.

Instead, we were told our rooms were forfeited because we checked out early and that there was “nothing they could do.” The front desk refused to assist us in reassigning our original rooms and insisted the only option was to go online and rebook through Expedia — which made zero sense considering we had already paid for our stay.

As a result, our group was forced to rebook three rooms for one night, costing us an additional $3,400, just to have a place to sleep after a weather-related flight cancellation completely out of our control.

Chic hotel; room was clean, nice amenities. Air conditioning problematic; kept changing temperature & got sick. Food was good except Greek. Prior to arrival, I emailed hotel to confirm both pick up from & to airport. The hotel asked me to confirm my flight details which I did on the messaging app. They said it was \"noted\". This offered reassurance my pick-up from airport was confirmed to & fro the hotel. However to my extreme disappointment, there was no shuttle awaiting my arrival. I tried to get help from an Expedia rep a& they said I should have had confirmation from \"Nexus\" through the hotel. They tried to speak to other reps to no avail. It was the same story when I left the hotel. I ended up having to pay for a taxi both ways to the airport. During my stay I told the hotel agent about it as well as Nexus located next door. Nexus took my details; after 4 days of checking in with them advised me to email Nexus which I did & emailed the pymnt receipt to the hotel. I was not given a receipt for the taxi at departure. I am $200 out of pocket and to-date have not been reimbursed by either the hotel nor by Nexus. Very disappointing particularly for a hotel of this magnitude. After paying more than 7k in accommodation & airfare for the package, most of which went toward the cost of the hotel accommodation. This left me feeling undervalued as a patron of the hotel. Neither did they explain the \"Diamond Club\", if I were a member I suspect the issue would've been resolved.

The food was terrible as well as the service waitstaff. House cleaning was fine. Bar service was also challenging. We I never return to this location and highly recommend others that are considering don't book it

Although the place itself is lovely it was not what I expected. I have traveled extensively at all inclusive resorts. The buffet super small compared to others. The food was only average if that. The restaurants, again average. I went because I needed to get away and relax, but the property is very loud at night with a party atmosphere. I love when a resort has entertainment, however, when you go back to your room, it shouldn’t be like you are still where the party is. The volume is so unnecessary everyone I talk to was also complaining, so I know it’s not just me. The New Year’s celebration was great and of course you expect noise then, but all the other nights the noise was over the top. All the staff are very friendly. The resort is clean. The rooms are on the small side compared to other all inclusive resorts. I could’ve paid half as much to go to one of the other resorts that I frequent but I decided I wanted to try something new.

I booked a king sized bed garden view room. The room itself was pretty tiny but it was clean to my liking.

Breakfast options are better than the dinner options. Had the most fun at the pool and beach. Drinks were strong and tasty and were served quickly.

The Royal Spa was also a strong point. I had the best massage and facial. Afterwards, I was able to use the pools.

Overall the resort had a good vibe. I like that it wasn’t too crowded or loud. Staff were professional, attentive and efficient but didn’t hover (which I like).

I had such a relaxing time that I looked into extending my trip (I had already been there for 8 days).

I you are looking for a nice, relaxing, low-key vibe, I definitely would recommend this resort.

Room was amazing and right staff were so nice. I traveled alone and they made sure I was okay everyday.
