We had super loud neighbors, it was hard to sleep.
The rule is “NO” pull time after 10, but there was people after 10pm. Thats really the only complain have.

My experience staying at this hotel exceeded my expectations, it’s such a beautiful property and the staff is friendly and attentive. The moment you check in you are greeted with a complimentary shot of mezcal. The breakfast that was included in our stay was delicious!! I highly recommend staying at this hotel, you really can’t get any better for the price. 10/10 in my opinion!!

This property is more of a glamping experience with the amenities of a resort. The hotel’s decor is beautiful and rustic, every area of the hotel had an outdoor feel. I loved the wood and rocks. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the welcome shot of Mezcal at check in. The bed & pillows were comfortable and the area was quiet. It was nice to see something different and experience a hotel that appreciates the natural environment. Due to it’s location & the glass doors, there were a few bugs that got in our room. There is bug insecticide available and the bugs are not a dealbreaker. It’s a unique property that’s worth visiting. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is so delicious you feel like you’re at a luxury hotel.

The property is near the town and there was loud parties going on until 1:30am on the Saturday night we were there. That was my one complaint however unfortunately as the noise was coming from off property there was little the hotel staff could do about it. Breakfast was great. The complimentary mezcal was a nice touch

Staff was excellent and attentive. I like how the had a guard for entering and leaving the property. Breakfast was amazing along with the staff for serving breakfast. Property looks like it had a lot of projects left undone. Pool was dirty. One bed was really squeaky to the point where it disturbed my friend and I to go to sleep. Staff was notified upon check out. Property itself was beautiful and rustic looking. Nice hot warm water for showering was available. Fernando was attentive and was able to answer all of our questions and complete our requests. Overall would stay here again!

This hotel was just what I was looking for, and exceeded all my expectations! I loved how the pools, grounds and buildings fit together and felt so peaceful and natural in the valle setting. Our room was beautiful, airy, and private even with the amazing walls of glass that opened onto a porch with mountain views. The breakfast was delicious and gorgeous. The staff was amazing, leaving a personal surprise for my partner's birthday, which we were celebrating, and even lending me a charger for my phone. 10/10 would book again, I would live here if I could!

I stayed here with my mom for 3 days and my husband came for 1 night! We had an amazing stay here at the Los amantes . The hot tub was so relaxing and the staff was 10 stars ! Everyday they clean your room and serve complimentary breakfast that is served in two courses . We would love to stay here again it is a great value and the WiFi signal is very strong

El personal siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotras y son muy amables.

This hotel is a great option in the area. The rooms a clean, bright and spacious. The breakfast is fab, The staff - especially Fernando were generous and helpful in offering us useful info & great recommendations in the area. The hot tub is huge steamy and well maintained. The only unfortunate thing about this place is that there are no proper pool lounge chairs - which make it hard to lounge by the pool - Also The pool itself, because it's partly covered is oddly freezing - though I'm sure this is amazing if you want a cold plunge post hot tub.

More like \"glamping\". Not really a hotel.

The staff is super friendly, the bed is actually really comfortable and the included breakfast is not bad but other than that this hotel is extremely overpriced for the experience you get.

The pictures online made us believe this was a proper hotel in Valle de Guadalupe. This is yet another \"glamping\" spot with very a rustic set up that costs more than an actual 4-star hotel.

Our \"room\" was just a \"concrete container\" with a wall of glass. Each of these containers has their wall of glass facing each other, which means unless you want other hotel guests looking straight into your room all day you will need to have your curtains closed all day.

The window by our \"bathroom\" wouldn't close properly so we had multiples flies in our room during our stay.

There is zero noise isolation in these containers. One of the guests decided to take a phone call outside of their container at 8am and it was like if this person was inside my room. That was followed by the cleaning staff pushing their carts over the cobblestone path between the containers around 9am making A TON OF NOISE with their hard plastic wheels.

The \"pool\" looks cool in the pictures but is actually disappointing. Also, there are rooms with their wall of glass facing the pool so if you get one of these rooms any guests swimming will be able to look inside your room.

There's no shade in the area where you park your car so be prepared to leave your car's AC running for a while before you can actually get in.

This hotel was a unique experience and would definitely recommend it for a couple getaway. I went with friends but I would’ve enjoyed it much more with a partner. It is a unique and definitely romantic retreat. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The only downside to the property is the dirt road leading to the hotel and it’s a little secluded but most of the area in Valle de Guadalupe is this way.

A lovely yet rustic hotel in the heart of Valle

Great for weekend getaways or wine-tasting tours. We stayed here one night for a family event. The hotel has a rustic charm to it, comfortable beds, delicious food at the guests-only restaurant (with breakfast included), although there are many accessibility features that can be added. There are a few steps to get into your first floor rooms without hand rails, this was very difficult for my mom with arthritis to access on her own, the doors to the toilet and shower in our rooms were pretty narrow, and the glass doors to the rooms were a bit difficult to open/close. Aside from this, the staff went above and beyond to help us during check-in, and Iven, the bell-hop, was very gracious and gave us a tour around the property and helped us with our luggage. Would stay here again, but next time w/out my mom, just my husband and I for a romantic getaway.

Overall great hotel for the area. I would most definitely stay there again. I booked a deluxe room, but it seems like the regular rooms were just fine. Regular rooms seem to be more private and quieter compared to the deluxe rooms. The price difference also doesn’t justify upgrading. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

The hotel was expensive for what it offered. It had the same price as other hotels that were better-located and with better facilities.
Pros:
- cute hotel with nice views
- decent size rooms
- nice hotel staff

Cons:
- the rooms had a really cold concrete floor, they should put carpets or at least offer slippers;
- the city has no infrastructure whtsoever, with unpaved streets that were completely flooded should it rained. The hotel location made it really dificult to access it (not the hotel’s fault), but also the hotel had no dining options, meaning, if you dont have a 4x4 drive to go out to dinner when raining, you will have to dine the minibar pringles unfortunately
- expensive considering overall cost-benefit

We visited the day after it rained in the area and the whole place was a muddy mess. I slipped a couple times and there is was not a pleasant experience. Considering the cost, it was very concerning that my room did not have hot water, internet went down at 7pm and did not come back until 7am. No TV in the rooms, curtains were filthy and one of them was melted from the heater (dangerous). The restaurant was also closed due to “renovations”. Overall, I was very disappointed but I have to say that the staff try their best to make it up for guests. Management and ownership should work on this and stop relying on your front-line employees to handle such large issues with very limited resources. My recommendation…”spend your money elsewhere”.

This place is like nothing I've ever seen before. It's beautiful. Breakfast was included. There's a convenience store conveniently across the street. The staff was amazingly attentive. Shout out to Iven. He was helping us around the clock. Amenities were perfect including a very large hot tub, bonfire that fits 20 or more, a pool and plenty of areas to just enjoy and take in the views. This place is very safe and very clean. I cannot wait to come back. The only recommendation I would make is to move the bonfire away from the rooms so that guests can enjoy the bonfire without disturbing the rest.

This hotel was suuuper cute! Very cute decor all over the property. I loved the glass rooms and not having to share a wall with neighbors. The bar/restaurant had really good drinks and the included breakfast was also realy good! The staff was super friendly (shout out to Ivan, he was great! I really appreciated him walking us back to our room at night). We also got massages at the spa and definitely enjoyed that. We only stayed one night and I really wish we would have stayed longer. I would definitely book here again!

The pictures used to advertise the hotel are false advertisement. The hotel is located in a rural area and this I was completely aware of. However I do expect to at least have running hot water and heat. We checked into the hotel at 9:00 pm approximately, and after we checked in an employee had us follow him in our car to our room/pod. When we arrived he turned on the heater (it didn't work) and had a portal heater that was powered by a propane tank (inside the room). The ceiling looked and seemed like it was made of tin can. The floor was made of concrete with no type of area rug to keep some warmth and there were no additional blankets to use. The hot water never came out at all also the room did not have a phone to call out or to communicate with reception. The next morning when I checked out I commented to reception the issues we had with the heat and hot water and she said \" you should have called us we are here 24 hours and I replied how if there was no phone in the room and their response was thru whatsapp (her response was unapologetic). I do not recommend this hotel.

My trip was amazing at Valle. The hotel staff at Agua de Vid was extremely friendly and they made us feel like family. The rooms are very unique and peaceful. Mezcal tasted great from the rooftop bar. I highly recommend this place for a couple and families. There’s so much to explore at Valle.

This place is MAGIC!!! The room was cold upon check-in, but it warmed up in 2 min, just like they said-- so no worries!! Our room offered hot water, a welcome shot, a nice view, and the pillows were so comfortable!! The dinner was tasty and the NYE party was off the hook!! All staff was so attentive, and they even drove us to our room during the rain!! Awesome location!! Bring a 4x4 though cause that dirt road gets completely caved with rain and mud!

We thought it was a traditional hotel, however, we were surprise there were bungalows'. The one bedroom 12'
20' very small, all the parking lots areas were not paved, free breakfast, you paid for pastries, $9 for a cinnamon roll !!

I have to agree with many of the other comments: monotonous DJ who played same exact beat for hours, uncomfortable beds, dark and hard to find rooms. Need to add an important one: doors to rooms are glass and iron rotating doors and are not secure even when locked. They can be pushed open on the sides and this will surely end badly for some guest. On a good note, the restaurant had great food.

We didn't get any sleep and we experienced a very scary situation. The hotel's bar plays loud music all night until 1 am and then all the drunk guests continue partying without regard for everyone else. When my husband and I asked the loud guests to quiet down, they didnt care and started to get violent. No security and nobody from the hotel was around. I had to walk all the way to the hotel lobby to ask for help. Please note that the rooms/casitas are far away from the lobby and there is no lighting. Finally, the security guys showed up at 3 am!! The following day, I talked to the people at the front desk about the whole ordeal and they refused to do anything to make it up because I booked the rooms through Expedia. Horrible experience!

Room was ok. Bed's they say are queen are not. They are a full at most. No TV and no where to sit inside or outside. No privacy if you need to use restroom. DJ is horrible, need to get more dance music, not rave type. Food and drinks are good.

1-the queen beds are actually full size beds, very upsetting. also, the beds have no box springs so they were very low to the ground and uncomfortable.
2-the D.J. music is horrible, all rave style music all night, loud and annoying, no one was dancing or even interested.
3-it is a long and very dark walk from the restaurant bar back to the rooms so very easy to trip and fall with the uneven walkway.
