My stay was supeeeerb and I cannot deny that this, by far, was the best hotel I've stayed in here in Manila. The service is good and very accomodating. The staff is very polite and kind, they are always willing to serve. The rooms are very clean and is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax. :)

I booked this hotel for my sister in law as a place to stay while waiting for her COVID result for 4 days / 3 nights (7/6-7/9).She had to check in early as the testing was done early and was charged 1500 pesos and had to check out late since the results just came in and was charged 2500 pesos. This is double of what I paid online $20/ night which is ridiculous. The hotel should have taken into account the amount that was paid during booking and not charge her like a walk-in. Very poor customer service in this time of pandemic

It was accessible for public transport. What I don't like was, you can hear noise \"guests shouting\" from outside of our room.My son did not enjoy with the fishes and get sad because the next day, it died due to heavy chlorinated water.

The waiter spilled coffee on me because he was too lazy to switch places to put the food down on the proper area of the table. The hallway is wet from the swimmers from the ground floor. Some of the equipment is faulty. The aircon was hard to figure out.

The food was amazing though.

It may not be due to the hotel, but it seemed to have a party with a large number of people in the rooms next to each other until morning, so I could not sleep at all due to too much noise. I stayed at a local hotel many times, but it was the worst stay. In addition, connection of wi-fi is bad and seems to be not hotel used for business.

The things I didn't like about the hotel were the mosquitoes, but it was understandable because it was a garden hotel, and the limited butter lmao.

Staff were great. Very cheerful and helpful. Even got us a ride to MOA and to the airport without booking a Grab. Will definitely stay here again.

Expectations versus reality on the said on this property. We are not satisfied on this hotel. Poor services. Its so shameful that on their advertising its not real. No hot shower nothing at all in room, although in advertisements a lot of compliments that’s indicated. Once we checked inn its really boring room. All stuff running away when it comes to complaining . Wasteing time staying here. They dont even answer phone calls . Very un etiquettes stuff.

We're in family group and got a dorm room for 10 person. It's really small for us and we don't have private bathroom. Parking is so tight. The food 's great. And so relaxing to have a pool there too. The staff are very helpful.

We didn’t even see the inside of this “hotel” The problem started with no available parking. There is no available loading and unloading parking area for this hotel. It was pouring rain. We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. Our flight to Los Angeles is at 6 am and plans to check out at 3 am. We arrived at 10 pm drove for an hour looking for at least a street parking to unload our luggages. I called Expedia to report the problem and get refund. We were told to email Zens customer service. The response we receive from them was they are aware of the problem but they can’t refund . Instead they gave us 20% off to be used in the next 3 months . We live in The US and no way will be back in 3 months . Even if this is free , no way! We picked this hotel because we planned to stay for only 4 hours but ended up paying for more for a hotel with a parking . So lesson learned . If you have a car , do not go to this place . And also consider all the negative comments by other travelers .

This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at! I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!

My booking apparently did not exist despite me having a printed copy of my confirmed booking, and so we waited at reception for 30 minutes in the heat, after a tiring journey, until they 'found' the booking. It was so odd. I was told I had to email the proof of my booking to whatever company it was that they gave me an email for.
Then, after all that, the room was not clean: cabinets were dirty, the toilet stank, we found dirty wet wipes on one of the 'clean' towels given to us, the air conditioning unit did not work so we all baked in the room and, one of the taps did not work. On check out, I told the receptionist about the problems and they did not care and they just left the desk after I gave the key in.

Parking very limited. Garbage in front of hotel smells bad. Lots of mosquitos, stray cats. Shower water drainage not good - spills outside door. Access road going to hotel very narrow / tight.

But service is excellent! All the staff are quick, very hardworking and looks like happy to work there.

Had to sit in the lobby for over an hour to check in. Not fun when you are tired and jet lagged. Room was pretty clean but the paint was peeling off of the shower ceiling and only 1 small garbage can in the room. No towels at the pool and they do provide them normally but even when requested they never brought any so we had to use the ones from our rooms. I wouldn’t pay more than $20 a night to stay here again. The only 2 redeeming qualities this place has is an extremely helpful and polite staff as well as the best bfood on the breakfast buffet that I have had at any hotel in Manila yet.

I asked for an iron and board from the day one of my stay but never got it. They take it too lightly. I even feedback to a lady at the reception on the second day and she just smiled and never do it. I asked for weighing scale during checkout and they saud they dont know which room borrowed it. Scale should be at the concierge for customers to weigh their luggage. Overall impression is spoilt by the poor service by reception. A guy at the reception in brown shirt and glasses doesn't smile.

Out group booked 10 rooms for a Regional conference here. I had some guest wait over four hours for their rooms. An attempt to upgrade a few guest rooms was not allowed, but a new reservations would have had to be made in order to get a new room. The staff at the front desk used a print out sheet to check guest in which doubled the wait time.
The loft room had plenty of space but lacked a desirable floor plan. Our television was located on the stairscase. Towels and toiletries where located upstairs and not in the bathroom. The shower flooded after 3to4 minutes.
Many of our guest had similar complaints which issues where left unresolved.
I must say this was our worse trip ever.

Disappointment was the advertised free wifi in rooms does not work, staff do know this and admit it really only works well near reception and car park, so I had to go to those areas to be able to use it for my computer - even moving around that area would mean loss of connection.

What an amazing property to stay at while situated close to the downtown area of Manilla, shopping centres and they airport. Like staying in a small resort right in the middle of the city.

We would highly recommend this property to those vacationers with family, or those that are looking for a very comfortable stay in the city. While it is rated a three star resort, you are treated with five star service. Our room was clean, and serviced every day. found the price to be very reasonable for the value of the product and service provided.

Can not say enough about the staff at this property... they are simply terrific in every way.

We will definitely stay that his property again!

What I liked most about Selah was the service. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

The highlight of the hotel ground is the pool area. Many activities for families. Awesome!

The rooms were clean and matched the picture on the website. I liked the fact that there were complimentary dental kits and complimentary water.

The WiFi was fast.

These were the only disadvantages:

The phone in our room was not working, so we were unable to make phone calls to front desk.

The towels are all very old and should be replaced.

The mattresses are not as soft as I had hoped for.

However, we enjoyed our stay.

Overview of 9 days at Selah Garden Park Ave.

Selah Garden was a nice cosy Hotel but too remote even Taxi Driver don't know the Hotel . We have to guide them to Hotel on every trip even from MOA. Service was good except No Flexibility even asking for an hour extension even after midnight for next day check out.
Wifi was good for 2 days only even we checked in for 9 days . Troublesome to keep going back to Reception area ever 2 days to get new Wifi password.
Overall it was good except room NOT sound proof as noisy when neighbor came back late.

It’s a nice place and affordable. But you need not to peep outside the window where you find garbage on the adjacent vacant lot. Not all plants in the garden are tended well. Room daily clean up is not automatic, including replacement of toiletries and bottled water.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station. The place was relaxing and the loft-type rooms were very spacious.

The buffet breakfast was free. However, they should prepare healthier low-fat meats.

I had stayed at the Flagship double room of this hotel. At first, The room is quite cozy, clean, and big enough. There is no bathtub or shower certain in the bathroom, but also okay for having hot shower. The safe in the room was not working with dial button, but the staff gave me a real key for using it. Every staffs were friendly and helpful during my stay.
Ah, there is a swimming pool in this hotel and usually it's full of many (teenage) travelers. If you are expecting pleasant mood of the swimming pool, hmm...late night will be better than early morning~afternoon.

The standard room was small and no refrigerator nor small table for us to eat, so we just eat in our bed with our sheets gets dirt from it. Aircon is old but somehow we figure out how to make it cold. The place is small and it really maximize every space of it. I like the concept of the place though it projects itself that it has the edge than the others. Positive remarks are: wifi is strong inside the room and the buffet breakfast has adequate food choices.

The best part of our stay, and probably the only reason I'd recommend it was the High Ropes activity (with great service from the staff who handles that). There was one large pool, and buffet breakfast included which was also good. They also had a spa where we got a relaxing massage. However, the room service was terrible - the food was good, but it took forever to send the food to our room, and it took us multiple calls for them to note the correct room number. The room itself was alright with comfortable beds, but thin walls, and worst of all was the drainage - in the shower area (which was incredibly small that when we hang a towel at the back of the door, it would be soaked when you shower), the drain was clogged so it would eventually flood if you turn on the shower fully. Other than that, although parking was a bit hard, check-in and check-out were not difficult.

Reception staff were very good including the guard. They greet you and provide assistance in their own little way compared to the night shift restaurant staff. Our food took a while to be served until I followed up and our drinks were not served but got included in the bill. Morning buffet staff had their own little world and lacking customer service. It's a bit noisy when we stayed because of the wedding ceremony there. The pool is small but that was okay considering that the place is also small. I am disappointed of the service, specially when we took our buffet breakfast with my sister and 8 months old baby. The staff did not entertain us, they did not even ask if we need a baby chair or assistance. I did not give much attention to that though, but the thing is, when this rich family I can say arrived at the buffet, the staffs entertained them very well and very welcoming. Asked them if they need something, of course there are lot of requests. Nothing against that family because we had a small talk. When we about to finish our breakfast, another guy finally noticed us and asked if we need a chair for baby. Well we said yes even if it was late. Not satisfied with the staffs!! Moving on..The AC is also crazy because it can't be adjusted. Another problem was the door. Whenever you open it, it beeps like 5 hours before it's stops. Take note if you are about to sleep, do not open the door if you think beep will keep you awake. Another problem is the sink, it never flow that we had to call the front desk to fix the sink. Will definitely not going back there!

Staff are respectful, courteous and very helpful all around the hotel. Room location was probably the worst you can get, no decent view if you look outside. Room and bed were comfortable. I highly commend the green approach and thoughts put in to each energy efficient rooms. Overall our stay was good.

Good and pleasant hotel in the middle of pasay. Staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive. I would recommend arriving early to secure a parking spot but we were informed that management will rectify the limited parking problem soon.
Food was quite good. We ate dinner at the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at the taste and portion size.
Pool and outdoor facilities were quite picturesque, especially at night. Will be staying here again.

Main problem is food service Breakfast has a long way to call it good they charging for 2 fried eggs and coffee even if is included with your room payment, one night I decide to take dinner there they took to long to bring the food than manager showed up asked me if I was ok right when I was I bout to leave so I told her and she went in to rushed the kitchen cookers and they took an other 15 mins to bring my food but my fish was not cooked it was even still frozen inside... so I just got up and leave the place..... so sorry but I did really had a very bad experience in that hotel.... they need to get some professional people to run the hotel and to cook..

Very nice helpful and friendly staff. Very good Breakfast buffet lot of food to choose, decent clean room for the money and very accessible to everything LRT, MRT, MOA, Malls, Casino. If you're in Pasay city just like your in the heart of Metropolitan Manila. would refer this hotel to fellow FILCanadian friends.

Worst Ever hotel booked through Hotel.com.

Felt like staying in a prison cell. Iron bars across our window with barb wires. Window facing smelly and mosquito infested junk yard full of domestic garbage.Terrible breakfast served like in a refugee camp. Guests lined up to get the food. Situated along narrow street and backyard lane. We were not prepared to venture out at night and advised about the security. Absolutely amazed that a local taxi driver never heard about the hotel! Wasted our money on the taxi going round and round asking people on the street about the location of the hotel. A score of 3.5 out of 5 on the published review is just wrong! We will probably rate it a absolute maximum score of 1 out of 5.
