The bedroom itself was pretty clean. There was a pile of dirt at the foot of the bed that has not been picked up. The bed was comfortable, however, there was a large amount of black mold in the shower, and only in the shower. That did not make us feel great, but it was a quick shower in the morning. The location was perfect for a one-night stay. Within walking distance to many restaurants. When we booked the room, we were told breakfast was included. Then we received an email that breakfast would not be included but they would give us a credit slip at a local shop for breakfast. When we arrived, they said no breakfast and no discount in our rate. We received check-in instructions via email and no person was available at check-in. The manager did knock on our door around 10:30 pm to make sure we were checked in. It was also a short walk to the area where you catch the bus to the cruise ships. In spite of the shower situation, it was perfect, and we would stay there again if leaving from that port.

Very close to cruise ship port. I mean, CLOSE. A very short walk. Nice quiet room, exceptional hosts!

From the moment we arrive to the time we left Ugo and Josefina were extremely kind and helpful. There is no elevator so they carried our luggage up and down stairs for us even though we tried to take it ourselves. They had a very nice breakfast that was hand cooked and served by Ugo. It’s an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the cruise port although Ugo did drive us the two blocks to the cruise port. I recommend the airport pick up because the B&B might be very difficult to find on your own. We are staying here again for two nights after our cruise and we are looking forward to it.

This review is totally about the service provided! Unfortunately the day before we arrived the toilets backed up and they had to shut the rooms down. But he arranged alternate accomodation, he still picked us up at the airport, and he delivered us to the cruise terminal the following day.

The property is kind of unique as according to the owner it's the original Palace building, 120 years old, not touched from outside but renovated for using as B&B on the 3rd floor. I wish that it should be mentioned somewhere that there is no elevator to access very high 3rd floor with the luggage. Other than that, the B&B is comfortable, clean, owners are very hospitable and helpful.

From the get go, this was a wonderful B&B to stay at. The owner was so welcoming. He picked us up from the train station; made me wonderful coffee upon arrival; helped bring our luggage upstairs. The next morning was a fantastic breakfast with great options. He made us eggs. It could have been overfilling, but we chose to eat just enough as we were about to go on a cruise. Had a lovely chat with 3 other groups that were going on the cruise that day, and I ran into all of them during the cruise. Like having new friends even if it was for the cruise period. The owner told us he'd walk us to the port which wasn't far, but helped us get to the right bus that took us to the ship for free. Also told us to buy the 2 euro pp ticket when we return to get back to the train station. Helpful info as you get bombarded when you get off the 1st bus that took you from the terminal to the exit area. But at the end of that was the bus that he mentioned and a ticket window.
All in all, a very pleasant 1 night stay. But if you need a pickup from the Fiumicino airport, I would highly recommend him if it's just 2 of you. I was almost pickpocketed at the Rome Ostiense train station's elevator. Caught them and stopped them, but what a hassle to carry luggage up and down stairs in another area that we had to take. The owner will do it for a less than some of the suppliers. If sharing with others, stick with companies because they'll be able to accommodate your larger party.

Our Hosts were not the owners but parents of and they were fantastic. Though language barrier they (we) tried hard and they offered every service we needed. Pick us up at the train station, dropped us off, over fed us with an excellent breakfast (not extravagant but tasty), great coffee and then escorted us directly to the cruise centre and loaded our luggage into the shuttle bus. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but is nicely laid out and equipped inside. It is 2 blocks from the cruise port. They also recommended excellent restaurants in the area.

Arrived a couple days early before a cruise. Ugo and Josephine are fantastic hosts. The home made breakfast pastries are fantastic! Located in a charming 100 year old building, the rooms are modern with all the expected frills. No elevator, you have to climb three flights of stairs. The exercise helps negate the pounds added from pasta, pizza and gelatto. Located a 5 minute walk to the cruise terminal. Only 4 rooms, book early.
