This was our second time in Positano and our first at this hotel. The hotel is on Viale Pasitea, about a 10 minute walk from the port. Viale Pasitea is the principal street in Positano, where most of the businesses and restaurants are located. So the hotel was located in a super convenient location.

This was probably the greatest experience my wife and I have ever had in terms of accommodations while traveling. The place was so clean and nice, the staff there were beyond amazing and really treated us like family, which in my eyes they are like family now. Villa delle Palme was a wonderful place to stay, but for those it might matter to, the uninitiated, as we were, while the property is wonderful and the staff warm and friendly, it wasn't a hotel that had things like bell-staff to help with bags (up two flights of stairs). Ultimately not that important, but just something that could be helpful to know. I don't know if it would have changed our decision to stay there, likely not, but worth knowing. The location is beautiful with access to a private beach (once you go down 444 stairs). The area is delightful and the rooms with terraces are a treat. We can't overstate how wonderful, generous and kind the staff was; welcoming and warm.

Also included Breakfast, easy access from the main road (so not many stairs needed to get there), air conditioning, a gorgeous terrace, clean room and anything you needed from an iron to a steamer was provided! Very clean, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. Manuela was very helpful in all suggestions. If I ever come back to Positano I’ll stay here again.

The restaurants next to the hotel named Sado and The Mediterranean Restaurant are both excellent. Great food and awesome service. Can’t wait to come back!

This property was amazing! It was like staying with family. The property owners were very hospitable, accommodating, helpful, and friendly! The rooms are clean and have a beautiful scenic balcony. It’s an upper Positano hotel and not the most luxurious but we highly recommend it for a wonderful Amalfi coast experience!

What a lovely place! Friendly and helpful staff. Great location a little bit above the lower city, a beautiful balcony view, and incredible restaurants just next door. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

A side note: you can follow the main road up to avoid the stairs, or if you are up for the challenge there are some steep stair shortcuts to the city and beaches below.

Villa delle Palme was amazing! It is in the perfect location to great restaurants, shopping and only about 10 minutes walk from the beach. Very clean, great staff, very comfortable bed. Allowed us to leave our bags there when we got there early and also after check out so we could hit the beach. Perfect stay!

This property was beautiful bright and clean! It seemed fresh and new with high ceilings, a nice large bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view. The breakfast was food highlight of our trip every day! Wow! Great dinner restaurants nearby and the location was a nice walk up the picturesque sloped roadway so you don’t have to do stairs if you don’t want to. The hosts were so friendly and so helpful. Absolutely amazing hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights with my girlfriend on our trip and we could not have asked for a better spot. The hotel itself was lovely - The rooms look much better in person than they do in the photos and the bed is extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel was one of the best parts. They own two restaurants, one right next door and another further down the road that were two of our favorite meals on our entire trip. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely book here again if we are back in Positano!!

Fabrizia at the front desk is the absolute best! Our trip to Capri got cancelled due to the waves and she planned an entire excursion to Pompeii for us. The staff and family that runs the hotel are the amazing! Very close to everything and an amazing restaurant next door!

We can't say enough great things about this Hotel land the staff. We felt like we were staying with family. We stood at 6 different hotels in Italy and this was by far our favorite. The rooms were clean and the showers were amazing! We had to check out very early in the morning (4am) and were brought breakfast for our drive back to Rome. We hope to return soon and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Positano!

Lovely place! Close to Fornillo Beach. About a 20-min walk to Spiaggia Grande. The restaurant next to the hotel has great pizza. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Limited parking available on-site. Best to stay here without a car, you don't need it in Positano. I would stay here again.

Positano is extremely hot and a hugely touristy. The \"beach\" area is a mob scene in sweltering weather filled with trashy cheap junk shops and is like an Italian Coney Island. Cheap looking at expensive prices. The Hotel has no elevator and no men to carry bags, although the staff is si friendly and sweet.

The restaurant connected is not recommended for dinnervas they brought appetizers and entrees ALL at once on a tiny table in a room with screaming Anerican tourists.

I will never return there although its beautiful in pictures, it is the most unpleasant place i have ever visited. Definitely go to Ischia which is beautiful and not crowded !

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Positano, and I can't say enough good things about it. The hotel itself was homey, with beautiful views and comfortable accommodations. However, what truly set this place apart was the staff. They were the friendliest and most helpful team I've ever encountered. Their warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. My wife and I had an amazing stay. They provided excellent help finding the hotel and where to be dried off. We welcomed like we were family. The rooms are super clean and updated. The breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. Staff is amazing and in a world where service seems to be an afterthought, it certainly was not optional here. Top notch service. \"Welcome Home!!!\" This was the greeting from the innkeeper, Manuela, every time we returned back to this family-owned gem. This greeting was not hyperbole, this is how the entire staff made you feel. The location is an easy walk to the town center and beach area of the most beautiful town we have been to. It is a small 8-rooom boutique hotel. Do not expect an extravagant lobby. It is very basic but you do not need extravagance in this town. The views are breathtaking. We had a \"terrace room\" that had wonderful views of the sea and the unique town built up from the sea. In fact, we cancelled dinner reservations at a local restaurant, known for its spectacular views as we could not beat the sights from our terrace. Ordering a take-away pizza from the restaurant next door with a bottle of wine was the perfect romantic setting. When we got rained out from going on a boat to Capri, the staff recommended a cooking class across the street that was 5-Star in quality with more wonderful people. Comfortable bedding, the scent of sea air and a warm rainfall shower to ease the muscles after great day of exploring this majestic town. For the price, you cannot go wrong.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Villa delle Palme. Convenient location directly off the main road in Positano, within walking distance of the beach, shopping, restaurants. No elevator so you will have to carry your luggage up stairs to your room, but no stairs to get to the hotel itself. Guiliana and Manuel were warm, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed for our stay. Nice balcony with wonderful view of the sea. Room was clean, spacious, equipped with mini fridge and AC. Would recommend, already planning our next stay!

Look no further if you seek accommodations in Positano because you will not find any other spot with this incredible combination of: 1) gracious, caring and informative hostesses (Manuela and Guiliana - speaking perfect English); 2) stunning view of the sea 3) immaculate rooms popping with vivid ocean-inspired colors and Chihuly-level chandeliers; 4) many highly rated restaurants closeby. Maneula and Guiana provided info before our trip that made arrival seamless - including actual videos showing the walk to the hotel from the ferry (have the porter take your bags to the hotel if you arrive by ferry). We spent our days at spectacular Fornillo Beach which was about 400 /- scenic steps up/down (or 15-20 minute walk another flatter route)- just take your time- you can do it, and you will want to take pictures of the views!. Once you are settled back at the hotel there is no need to go anywhere else because the best restaurants (Saraceno door and the Mediterranean), as well as a pastry shop, convenience shop, ATM, etc. are all right there. On departure day Guiliana helped arrange a taxi to pick up our bags at the hotel then pick us up at the beach which gave us another full day and saved us so much concern, time, energy (and grumpiness by our 20 year old kids)! The breakfast, beach towels, cooling AC, beautiful views and so much more - we will love to come back here some day!

Am amazing week in Positano! Staff was very helpful, rooms were large and clean and they had on site parking for a fee which was very convenient. Location is great as you are about half way up the mountain, meaning that you are about a 15min walk from the intercity bus stop and 15min walk from the beach area. Breakfast was nice too, and overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Manuella & her family take such pride in this property and it really shows! When you stay here you really get a sense of family. Such a lovely, warm and welcoming group of people who work here to make you stay feel special. It is conveniently located close to many desirable sites. There is a restaurant right next door and a wonderful pastry/coffee shop across the street. Anything we needed during our stay they helped accommodate and guided us to make the most out of our visit to Positano.
