From the moment that we were greeted by front desk gentleman we were impressed. Absolutely seem less visit. A bit of noise across the street till 11. But otherwise superb visit.

Staff was super friendly. Location for our cruise was great. 13 minute walk with luggage to cruise bus stop to get picked up. Breakfast was toast, cheese, salami, yogurt, cereal, and coffee. I would stay here in the future. Grocery stores about a 3/4 mile walk. Plenty of places to eat close by
Train station about 10 minute walk.

The room was spacious. It had windows that faced the inside court room and every time someone walked by the lights would come on and light up our room through the curtains. The shower needed to be cleaned, it had mold forming on the tiles. The owner was nice and made us croissants and coffee in the morning. Great location!

When we arrived no one in the customer service. I already told them will be arrive in the afternoon around 12.00 to 13.00.

Not a true hotel. More like half way house.,staff friendly, helpful when there. Other times, no one present. Facility provided 5 rooms. Raised issue of safety, though no issue arose. Room basic. Could use more shelves. TV only provided in Italian. Furniture basic, aged. Limited breakfast option. Location middle downtown area. Many streat vendors providing pasta, fish options. Other shops clothing,
jewelry, plus other options. Limited activities available.

Great stay to start our vacation

Stefano and the staff were extremely courteous from day one! The room was comfortable and clean. The shower had hot water. The air conditioner worked perfectly. There’s a wonderful restaurant right around the corner called My Lord and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you, Stefano and your whole staff for an amazing time that my husband and I had while there for the two nights.
PS the hairdryer was the best hairdryer I have ever used

Moved to another property down the block although we booked this property months in advance. Notified a couple if days before the reservation citing problems with the online booking system. This seemed to happen to a few people that we met at this hotel. This is not okay and very stressful when planning a trip. The new property was fine but. Aused unnecessary confusion.

Stayed here after an overnight flight from the US prior to our cruise boarding the next afternoon. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They kindly arranged a private car from the airport (shout out to Luca for his excellent service).

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect with countless restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and bars within easy walking distance. The walk to our ship is 20 minutes.

The staff was amazing and the room was big and clean. It's a little less than 10 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minute walk from the port, so right in the middle. It's just a few steps off the main road and inside a building with other businesses in it. It's just up one flight of stairs or you can take the small elevator to floor 1.

The area is nice and there are plenty of restaurants and shops along the main road. The water is just across the street and is a beautiful area to walk around.

The staff really was the stand out for the stay, they explained everything to us and allowed us to keep our bags there the next day after check out because we don't board our cruise until the afternoon.

They also can call to have someone take you to the port terminal for just 10 euro per person.

I really enjoyed my night here and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Civitavecchia.

7 Bells House is a cute hotel in a great location. Hotel room was spacious and quiet, bed is comfortable, A/C was strong. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing. The hotel is centrally located, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring Civitavecchia. We were able to check in earlier than most hotels, which was great because we arrived directly from a red-eye flight and were tired. Stefano and his staff were very helpful, including giving us restaurant recommendations and offering to call us a taxi to the port the day we were leaving. Good communication from staff prior to our arrival as well. We had a great stay and plan to be stay again the next time we are in Civitavecchia and will be recommending to friends. The room was nice. Everything we needed. Price was reasonable. One of the owners was there all the time, and he was very nice and helpful. He spoke pretty good English, which was nice, because I do not speak Italian. We stayed there for one night before getting on a cruise ship. This place is a good option for that. The owner also helped us get a ride to from the hotel to the ship.

This place is located near many restaurants which you can walk to. Very pleasant stay.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station. Was a little hard to find as it has a tiny little sign on the big door a bit like you find on a block of units. once in the door you go up the little lift to the 1st floor and to the right you have a door you press the buzzer and you will be let in. The receptionist didnt under stand english the best. We had booked a room with 2 beds as we didnt want to sleep in same bed and was told there was a plumbing issue and she showed us a 1 bed small room when we said we were not happy she called her boss who said he would come at 5pm. When he arrived he said he moved us as he had over booked I said how is that my fault. I prob would have been more understanding if they had not lied in the 1st instance with saying there was a plumbing problem. After to and froing he put us int he room we had booked over 6months earlier. Once settled in the room it was spacious and everything we had expected. good water pressure in the bathroom. Breakfast is available but we didn't book it. But from what I saw it was your basic breakfast to start your day. There is a nice balcony to sit on and enjoy the breeze. It was a little noisy at night so if your a light sleeper pop on your headphones. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend. Just note to owner and staff just be honest next time you over book rooms.

BOOK THIS ONE!!

This hotel was amazing, if your looking for a clean safe place this is it. Close to the port for the cruisers and the train station is about 10 min walk and it’s about 45 min train ride to Rome!!! Customer service was amazing and the city is beautiful lots of restaurant and a beautiful Terrace to seat and enjoy your morning coffee/tea. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL you will not be disappointed.

The hotel building is located right at the start of the port area opposite Mcdonalds. It has easy access to the beach and the port, and the local town.

The room itself was great, we had two opening Juliet Balcony doors onto the hotels veranda. The bathroom was brilliant and had everything you needed.

The check in was swift, the hotel checked with me beforehand to see when I will arrive and was there to greet us.

The local area was busy the night we stayed, we came back and sat out on the veranda for a while before going to bed. The room was quiet. I would stay in this hotel again.

My 3 daughters and myself stood in this property for 1 night after coming back from a cruise. Dont get me wrong the area was great with a lot of shopping and restaurants around. The beach is also very close. What ruin the whole experience was the bed bug that was on one of the beds. My daughter woke up in the middle of the night screaming cause it was a bug on the bed and bit her. Would not stay here again. Hate that i can post the picture of the bites or the video and hat we even more their reactions when i told them and showed them the video like thry had no clue what i was talking about. They did nothing about it.

The room is nothing like what was shown in the picture. It was clean but the bed was very low and felt frail. The toilet doesn’t flush properly. The water in the shower takes long to go down. The soap bottle is 3/4 empty. It’s very hard to find the office. However, the room was very clean and the sheets were clean. The hotel didn’t provide any bathing towels nor hand towel, no shampoo, conditioner nor lotion was provided. The staff attitude was excellent. The lobby smells musty and the floor of the downstairs front area is old and smells of dust.

Cute little place but the entrance is a little confusing. A bit more direction regarding how to get to the hotel itself would be useful for future visitors. Should note it is a doorway in what appears to be a residential building, and the floor to look for the doorway on. The outside just has a sign for the hotel with no suite or floor.

Unfortunately, the accommodation was not what we expected especially from reading the previous reviews, claiming excellent offerings. We expected more - showers are tiny, bathrooms were dirty, our sink had hundreds of cracks, the mattress were extremely hard, not to our taste. At night the outside light made it difficult to sleep as it lit up the whole room as if you had a side light on. I suppose this is all a personal perception.. But we will not be staying here again ..

We really wanted to enjoy this space but upon arrival we were not given the room requested, our lights and A/C didn’t work. The reception was helpful and the issue was resolved quick quickly but we were told there were no other rooms available. Okay…we can live with that. After settling in we went for a lovely dinner only to return to 3-4 teenagers loitering at our entrance, blocking us from entering and using profanity and vulgar language towards us. Once mention of chatting with officers around the corner they left. We waited still for about 10 minutes to ensure they were not around when we entered the door code. It did not feel safe or comforting as there is no staff on site past a certain time.

We were to stay again but have since canceled the stay, no money is being refunded…unfortunate but says a lot about us not wanting to stay.

Found Elisa, the best of Hosts, that was brilliant in contact and information and even sorted us out a transfer to the ship the following morning. Room was stunning and even got a free breakfast. Cant recommend the 7bells enough and highly recommended

Nice overnight stay prior to joining a cruise the next day. Stayed in the triple room which was nice & big for the two of us. Staff very nice and friendly.
Took a taxi for €10 each with baggage directly to the cruise ship the next day. That made life easy!

Lovely stay. I didn’t realize the reception would be behind a locked area and on the second floor. There is a small one person elevator that worked fine to access. One of the residents in the building helped me find it, which added to its charm. I probably would not have booked had I know this fact for medical reasons. The room was well suited and clean. The bed was typical European mattress not too soft but not too firm. Standard American style toilet with a seat was a win. The common areas were nice but small. The common area patio balcony was my favorite. The view is nice and the location is great for a stay that’s convenient to shopping and restaurants. The staff are very kind and accommodating. I would book again if staying overnight before a cruise. They really take care of their guests. My only complaint was that my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, which was rough after a long overnight flight and train ride. These things happen so I didn’t feel a star deduction is necessary given the positives out weighed the negatives. Highly recommend.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, room was updated and comfy, and we were close enough to walk to the cruise port and it was easy enough with luggage. The building is older and the elevator is very small but the room was immaculate and André was great in getting us checked in and ordering cars/taxis when we needed them.
It was perfect for the two days we needed to adjust after flying here from the US.
We walked around the town. It was great! Perfect for our needs.

Staff is not always on sight and there was no posting of the hours. They seem to be there around 9am until about 11am then back sometime in the early afternoon but they do have a number to reach them at if there is a problem. Our second night there we had no water pressure and the toilet stopped working and was not in service when we left the next morning. Room was clean. Location was the best part of the Hotel minus the street noise.

I was coming into town and checking in around 8pm. There was no one at the premises so I was told how to get in. This is no problem and expected. However the person corresponding with me was not very responsive. In the morning there was still no one there and I could not get a response. There was no coffee, no breakfast. My tv remote did not work and the heater said that it needed a filter cleaning. I was told to check myself out (this was very much a self service with no assistance on how to navigate the town) I was there for a cruise. Nd was trying yo figure out how yo get a taxi to the port or if I should walk and once again no response. I never write reviews and have never felt motivated to write a bad one until now! I think for me it is very important to have a human interaction at some point!
