This location has just 9 guest rooms. Breakfast was changed daily and served per your request. We enjoyed watching the ducks and chickens from our room. Host was very helpful swapping our room when the air conditioner didn't work and drying our sneakers when we came in soaked by the rain.

Wonderful Inn in Stowe
We had a wonderful one night stay at the Brass Lantern. Don greeted me when I arrived and showed me the common areas before showing me to our room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The common areas in the living rooms and game room were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a short walk to the village center in Stowe and the recreational trail and about a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes. The next time we visit Stowe we will definitely stay here.

Only thing to consider is that this hotel is not in the shuttle route. If you are ok driving - everything is very close - the town, the mountain.

We arrived at the Brass Lantern B&B on the day before the Sound of Music Concert in Stowe VT. A quaint location in town and we were able to visit the sites before the concert and enjoyed the Meet and Greet at the Trapp Family Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, the unique breakfasts, and the staff. The only negative was the weather; rained !!!

We have an amazing time at The Brass Lantern Inn during our stay in Stowe. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had a full run down of everything when we arrived. The breakfast was spot on every morning and they kindly sorted out some food for my wife on one of the mornings when she felt unwell. There were also stunning views of the local area and mountains which could be enjoyed from the hot tub. We would 100% visit again.

Don and his staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating during our 3 days. Great energy and engaging. Wonderful breakfast and evening snacks along with the ability to have coffee, tea and water all day and night. We went skiing early one morning and we were able to get an excellent breakfast sandwich and other snacks to go. Close to downtown Stowe (10min walk). Great ambiance throughout the inn and would definitely go back if and when we return for any season.

This property has changed hands in the last several months.Everything went well but there are a few things that needs to be changed on their page.There was no tv in the room and was not served a Vermont breakfast also we did not receive our free bottle of wine and they didn’t even mention anything about it.

Easy check-in; host gave us a tour of their facility which included 24-hr access to coffee, tea and shared refrigerator; hot tub available 10am-10pm! free breakfast with wonderful food! Close to downtown Stowe. Only negatives: we had to haul our luggage up & down a 15-step staircase to our Madonna Peak room; no elevator; the smoke detector over the bathroom door flashed bright green every 5-10 seconds all night long, making it hard to fall asleep.

These hosts are truly wonderful folks. This Inn has a lovely first floor with lots of sitting areas. Though I was there in the summer the fireplace looked very inviting. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, the service couldn't be better. There is always a homemade sweet treat in the evening. It would have been nice to have some muffins or quick bread available along with the coffee before 8:00 am for us early risers or on the tables for breakfast when you sit down. We stayed in the \"economy\" room which was very small with no sitting space or desk. The owners are incredibly sweet and anxious to please. I would stay again, but in a larger room.

The innkeepers are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Stowe and the surrounding areas and made wonderful recommendations for us. The room was charming, very cozy. And the breakfasts!! This is a lovely inn. The rooms are a nice size with a seating area and a fireplace. There is an outdoor hot tub, and the breakfasts are delicious. Maryann, George and Marylou are all very nice and helpful. I would recommend staying here. It is also centrally located on the Main Street.

Between George's delicious homemade breakfast each morning and Maryanne's concierge service and knowledge of Stowe and the surrounding area, this will definitely be where we stay whenever we are in Stowe!!
