Very nice swimming pool and it right next to the beach. The room is very big. I came during the low season, in August. However, the beach are full with trash everywhere. Very disappointed that the hotel on this beach doesn’t care about it. They should clean the trash everyday. Monsoons that I stay at a nice hotel but the beach view covers by trash.

It’s not to fare to give a review at this time. Because Covid pandemic is about to overcome for many places in the world. Koh Lanta was big hit by pandemic and not yet to overcome. This hotel is so beautiful and nice design for all rooms. However, management need to forcus on customer's review. The fitness is very small and air-condition was not working and many os the machine are broken. Since they have many foreigher stay and want to use fitness, they need to fix it. many people were complained about it before.

Great time on Koh Lanta!

We stayed 4 nights in a Gold Suite pool access room the room was very spacious and comfortable the breakfast was very good and the pool was fantastic.
We had our own deck and stairs to the pool.
We loved the ladies at the spa they were very experienced and professional.
All the staff were super helpful and friendly.
Go to Oldtown for shopping you won’t regret it no harassment great restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here, staff are really friendly and helpful. The pools were amazing. Clean and nicely kept resort. Breakfast buffet was Amazing. This was our last stop during our stay in Thailand and it was exactly what we needed..Not too crowded and fairly quiet. There are a lot of restaurants along the beach for food options if you don’t want to eat at the resort. Highly recommend 👍

10/10 stay in every way!

Great stay for a girls week away. Separate side by side rooms with pool access in the quiet area. Felt very safe and secure. Jump straight into the pool and swim up to the pool bar for happy hour and food.

Sunsets and beach was on the doorstep. Amazing breakfast selection everyday. Massive rooms, well looked after. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. The staff have excellent English and are very helpful. Right outside the hotel is washing, corner store, Personal Tuk Tuks or drivers and all tours at an excellent price.

From arrival to departure the staff couldn't be more welcoming! The suite we booked was exceptional, beautifully built and super comfy! The beach is stunning and sea ideal for swimming! Special buffet dinner for 250bht per person was a delicious bargain!

Looks can be deceiving

When we arrived at the resort, we were blown away. Very pretty, luxurious even. By the time we left, it had already been decided that though we are absolutely coming back to Koh Lanta, we will not be staying at Chada.
Minus the one front desk lady (who is absolutely awesome), the customer service was horrible. Worst example is, we sat at our table in the restaurant for 25mins waiting for someone to come over. Five staff members were laughing and chatting at the bar.

The wifi at the hotel is barely functional ( I had to turn off the WiFi on my phone and use my sim card to get proper service and the hot water pressure was barely a dribble after two minutes of use. Worse of all, the gym. When I book a place, I need a gym and this was the worst fitness facility I've ever seen anywhere at any time in my life. Pieces were about to fall off, they had 3 dumbbells all of different weights and the AC wasn't working. We took videos of it because our friends back home won't believe me when I tell them how bad it is. It would have been better to say they had no facility at all versus a rusty, broken and potentially dangerous piece of equipment.

Good Hotel with smile/professional staffs

Overall hotel facility was good but in the mid night, sometimes the electricity was on/off. room itself was huge and a bit worn and old, there are some lizards in the room. the staffs are good and excellent and some are not fluent in English though, they tried to understand what we want. The swimming pools are good for families. if you have a kid, we may consider this.
wifi is unstable REALLLLY
the local restaurants are not good at western cuisine. don't expect too much for the high qualities.

Luckily we were in a quiet room but when you stepped out the noise started from pool cleaning, construction of a new building and hammering from new roofing. My partner slipped in the shower and they wanted us to pay for ice which we needed to take the swelling down. Instead of an apology they told me they had to pay for the ice and this has never happened before. I saw lots of staff standing around and even sleeping in a chair. The beach lounger area was full of cigarette butts and garbage. The beach outside the property was amazing and we found a great restaurant outside the property. I would rate this property a maybe 3 out of 5 and I’m being generous.

Dirty disgusting swimming pools - avoid !

We stayed 21st October 2017 and 2 of the 3 swimming pools were filthy; the floors were covered in green algae. The management were aware and told us they were rectifying the matter but after 3 days there was no improvement and we checked out. Thankfully we hadn't paid in advance - I would recommend anyone considering this hotel to do the same as the condition of the hotel can't be guaranteed. We moved to the Rawi Warin, same price, and in a different league. The hotel generally was shabby, needed painting, sun loungers rusty etc., particularly around the swim-up rooms, this whole area was just generally tatty. We chose this hotel because of the pools for our young son, but I wouldn't let him use them. I couldn't believe they were letting people use the pools, they were disgusting, particularly around the children's slides, looked like stagnant water. Shame on the management for allowing this to happen.

A big hotel with beautiful grounds, pools and buildings. Rooms (Emerald Suite) are huge and have a separate sitting area for TV viewing. Spacious bathroom. Very comfortable and very quiet in low season. Good breakfast selection.
Really good location i.e. situated right on the beach, easy access to Saladan, where you will find great low key restaurants.There is a tour agent just outside the resort that gives excellent service. Friendly and helpful. They gave reasonable price and very reliable in arranging the tours - timely and efficient too.

Gorgeous hotel

Beautiful resort. The hotel is gorgeous and has 3 massive pools. There is a red slide in one which is pretty fun. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet had many options and it was constantly being restocked. The rooms are hugs and it feels like a little apartment rather than a hotel room. We loved our stay and will definitely go back.

We absolutely loved this converted colonial building. The character of the building has been well preserved and is situated in an excellent location close to great restaurants, bars, shops and sites well worth seeing.

The staff were really helpful and we absolutely loved the complimentary afternoon tea.....

Would definitely recommend the hotel to those wishing to capture some of the \"old\" Georgetown.

The three negative remarks are the smelly creek and the breakfast is basic, it could be improved. The creek has very dirty stagnant water, it is very polluted and smells terribly. Very disappointing out of season hotel

This hotel really let down all my previous Thailand experiences. The hotel itself was nice enough but a bit tired beneath the surfaces; pool side chairs, tables were rusty and old, dining area a bit dated. However as it was out of season half the facilities were closed down and there was no pool bars, roof top terrace and the dining room closed by 10pm. The areas within the complex was very dark with little/no lighting outside the lagoon rooms. The hotel also had no room wifi, which is completely unacceptable when you end up spending early nights in your room. There was free wifi in dining room but a charge for room wifi and only one device per room could be used!! I had also asked for an upgraded larger suite having explained prior to visit that my daughter , who was volunteering in koh lanta would occasionally stay over and was charged extra again for this. Finally, and probably most disappointing , was the manners and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel had few guests and yet were Sullen to unhelpful, spoke extremely limited English to the extent that they made frequent errors with requests and then seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves than customers . Not to be recommended in any way for a repeat visit. This was my 3rd visit to Asia and first time had such a negative experience.

Loved the island and the beach. Being early in the season our room smelt a bit musty when we first walked in. The hotel staff were lovely, the choice for breakfast was very extensive and the pool areas were great. There were lots of families with small children and the hotel seemed to cater to them very well. The beach location was ideal for access to many restaurants that line the beach.

The resort is excellent. Very nice pool and the beach is beautiful. There is a tour agent just outside the resort that gives excellent service. They give reasonable price and very realiable in arranging the tours, timely and efficient too. They are friendly and very helpful with any questions like advising the best place to eat and massage etc. There is a restaurant very nearby, Kaw Khong restaurant. Very delicious Thai food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended place to stay for a great holiday.

Situated right on the beach and caters to families. This Hotel resort will provide you what you seek for. The hotel staffs are ready to accommodate your every need at anytime. Food ranges from local dishes to international favourites. They have a really big pool and it was great!!!With nice clean rooms and complete facilities, you will surely spend the best of times on your vacation here at The Chada-da Lanta Beach Resort. I know I did. Even only 1 night with wife it was such a fantastic experience for us. We plan to go there again for sure!

Not a 5 or 4 star hotel

Because of low season, only 3 groups (including us) staying in such large hotel. We stayed in the ground floor near the swimming and the breakfast area. Heavy rain during our stay (2 nights). Beach outside the hotel is dirty. Car cannot get in to reception directly, you've to walk 30m from carpark. Hotel sign in the entrance without light. It seems like a abandoned castle gateway. U can't walk to Saladan on your feet, it's too far and dark at night. Little flooding after heavy rain along the road (hotel to main road). One afternoon, we get back to our room after having lunch, electricity was out for an hour, no air-con, only the little back-up light. No compliementary birthday cake but a fruit plate. Wifi cost 200B/hr. Not suggest to go to Lanta during low season. If u go, stay close to Saladan area, otherwise, nothing u can do, especially it is raining. No buffet breakfast during low season, u've to order, it is good, because the food is fresh and hot.

We spend honeymoon holiday in hotel, but we are very disappoint for hotel service. We have breakfast on hotel restaurant but some of staffs are not greeting and no smile.What was most disappointing to us: the unfriendliness of the staff.we stayed at pool room which is nice room .Most of the customers are in a family with their kids and baby. It is not suitable if you are looking for the hotel which provided you a romance environment

Great hotel for a family holiday

We booked here as a good value place to stay in Koh Lanta and it was overall a very nice hotel with a huge pool going between loads of the buildings, allowing for access to the pool straight from your balcony on the ground floor.

The room was big and spacious but the bathrooms aren't hugely private, sandwiched between the living room and bedroom - not too bad if you know everyone well!!

The breakfast was a good standard but the staff in the restaurant really let the place down. Some of them were just rude and not keen to offer great customer service with a smile. The worst part for me was sitting mid-meal and watching our waitress go out the back door, then hear her spitting loud and clear. Nice.

There is another pool closer to the beach which is again brilliant and the stretch of beach the hotel is on is great. The hotel is about a 3 minute ride from the main town centre where you'll find the ferry ports and a good selection of shops and alternative restaurants.

Overall, a fantastic hotel with helpful staff everywhere apart from the main restaurant. That's the only reason I didn't give five stars!

Fitnesscentret var under al kritik. Vi måtte informere personalet om, at det ene løbebånd ikke virkede og de resterende træningsfaciliteter var gamle og ikke alle funktionsdygtige. På Hotels hjemmeside står der beskrevet at de har adgang til et andet fitness, med gratis adgang, dette er ikke tilfældet og derfor falsk varebetegnelse.
Hertil oplevede vi at måtte rykke værelse, da vi en helt nat blev forstyrret af rotter i ventilationssystemet i vores værelsesloft.

Chambre à l étage très mal isolée phonétiquement de l appartement sur le même étage (simple porte) et de l extérieur donc autant dire que les nuits sont courtes si vous tombez sur un des très nombreux couples avec enfants à côté de vous. Sauberes Hotel aber es braucht eine Renovierung.

5 Sterne war das Hotel mal. Es ist sauber aber es braucht mal eine Renovierung. Wahrscheinlich hat sich das schon rum gesprochen weil das Hotel so gut wie leer war, und das in der High Saison. Frühstück war sehr gut. Die 2 riesigen Pools sind echt Klasse. Das Personal war sehr nett, aber das hab ich in Thailand auch noch nicht anders erlebt.

Renovation needed 5 years ago

The hotel really need an renovation and somebody taken care of maintenance. Everything is falling apart, umbrellas by the pool, tiles by the pool (which they just put back without clue...), curtains in the room is from the early 90s and can only make the room 60% dark, Breakfast is below average for example no fresh juice and the overall smell around the breakfast area is very bad. It is even at the level, one baby feel thru the safety rack from the first level down in the pool, lucky she survived without any damage. Until renovation is happening, would not recommend to stay here, suggest to pick one of many other bungalow hotels around Koh Lanta with 3 stars and 100% better maintained.

Great pools and location, but outdated

Nice ourdoors area with big and fun pools. Super close to the beach with the best sunset. The staff is very polite and helpful. But overall the rooms are outdated, with a very strong smell of cleaning supplies. The aircondition is old and pointing directly at the bed, so we ended up with a bad throat infection the first day here (but 3rd week in Thailand). Talked to other guest who had experienced the same.

Nice hotel. Close to ferry pier and local markets. Good place to relax for adults and kids. Sun beds and umbrellas a bit old and in plastic material sun beds really hot and plastic umbrellas made it like sauna underneath. Otherwise really liked the place

Veldig fornøyd med hotellet, fasiliteter og Ade som jobber der! Vi har bodd her 4 ganger!
Perfekt beliggenhet på Klong Dao med masse restauranter rett utenfor, på stranden!

Hotel presque vide. Un peu vieillot . Bien agencé avec une chambre spacieuse et calme.
Très belle piscine et excellents petits-déjeuners.
Par contre le personnel bien que très présent et peu ou pas concerné par les clients. Ils rient beaucoup entre eux et jouent beaucoup avec les voiturettes électriques.
Une robe de chambre moisie dans son emballage plastique. Une télé dernier cri mais branchée sur un bon vieux câble analogique. Impossible à regarder.
Ne demandez pas à l'hôtel de venir vous chercher à l'aéroport de Krabi... ils vous demandent 3500 bahts ce qui est complètement à côté. Vous trouverez pour bien moins cher ailleurs et sur le net.

God ferie trods lavsæson

Pool og strand var perfekt. Desværre rejste vi i uge 41 og 42, hvilket var udenfor højsæson. Det betød at poolbar, supermarked mm. ikke var åben. Vi havde dog alligevel en rigtig god ferie.

Rommet var perfekt. De ansatte var ok utenom de prøvde og matforgifte meg siste dagen da jeg allergisk mot skalldyr og maten var oppgitt som vegetar ikke fikk jeg noe refundert og måtte
Betale selv for medisiner og måtte forlange st de kjørte meg til apotek

Nice hotel men vad gör de med sin personal?

Cha-Da är ett bra hotell. Bra läge och trevliga faciliteter. Men. Det är ett problem med personalen. Vid frukost fick man inte ens ett leende eller godmorgon. Vi var två familjer med barn och överallt annars i Thailand är man supertrevlig mot barnen. Men inte här.

Servicen vid tex hotellpoolen var inte där. Fick leta upp personen som stod och messade runt hörnet.

Vet inte riktigt vad problemet var men många i personalen såg inte glada ut.

Fint hotell med strandläge!!

Fint hotell. Underbart med rum med pool access. Fina rymliga rum. Katastrofal service på frukosten dock. Maten bra men servicekänsla noll. Så trött och engagerad personal. Plockar undan frukosten 10.10 trots att den är till 10.30. Annars fint!!

Kaikkea kaikille hotelli

Viihtyisä perhehotelli hyvällä rannalla. Hyvä allasalue. Erinomainen aamiainen, jossa tarjolla kansainvälinen aamiainen sekä thairuokaa. Todella hyvät valikoimat. Huoneet olivat tilavat ja siistit. Rauhallinen paikka. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Suosittelen!

Leppoisaa rantalomailua Koh Lantalla

Suuri hotelli, upealla uimarannalla. Hotellihuone (suora pääsy altaalle) oli tilava ja viihtyisä. Edellisen vierailun 2014 jälkeen hotelli on ehkä hieman rapistunut, mutta edellen yleisilme on siisti ja hotelli on viihtyisä. Aamupala oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Uimaaltaat ovat hoidetut ja allasalueita on useita. Hotelli rakennettu pitkän uimarannan ääreen. Ranta on matala ja lapsiperheiden suosiossa. Rannalta löytyy runsaasti ruokapaikkoja joiden terasseilta oli rentouttavaa katsella auringonlaskua.

非常舒適之酒店, 建議入住Gold Suite (直達泳池房)or Silver Suite, 房間又大又舒服, 小孩加床連早餐只須加500B, 酒店餐廳之自助晚餐也不錯, 仲平過出外面食, 另酒店對出之沙灘又大又美麗, 看日落一流, 正!!

Hotellet är ok och ligger perfekt. Lämpar sig bäst enligt oss för barnfamiljer med lite yngre barn då poolområdet är stort. Väldigt lyhörda rum och aningen slitet. Tänk på att det är trångt vid frukost som ofta vid denna typ av lite större anläggningar. Wi-Fi var rent ut sagt dåligt och gick upp och ned hela vistelsen.

Flott hotell☺

Fint hotell med flott basseng! De var hyggelige å ga oss et rom med utgang til basseng selv om vi ikke besstilte det. God frokost med mye utvalg. Fin beliggenhet mot strand, men litt lite uteliv der for våres del. Maten i restauranten testet vi bare 1 dag, smakte helt greit. Gode drinker og happy hour i baren. Bra service og hyggelige Ansatte. Bra hotell til en hyggelig pris
