The rooms were cleaned daily and housekeepers were very friendly and accommodating. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast could have been very good but always cold. We even arrived right at opening and it was still cold. Suggest they use warming trays.

Lanta Garden Home is a Traditional Thai retreat . Suited to those with simple needs and a place that is full of peacefulness and tranquility! It is old fashioned but all the facilities work and is most importantly clean. We had a lovely stay here and wouldn’t think twice to rebook another stay. Direct access to the beach from the pool what more could you want.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach with nice pool. The rooms are spacious but in need up updating (only one outlet in room). The staff were very king and accommodating. Included breakfast was plentiful but not if the best quality.

Coming from a non-touristic area, i found the area overall too touristic and over-priced, built up for the Westerns. Nothing wrong with the hotel though. Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, wonderful pool. Altogether a great place to stay with a toddler. I thought the restaurant was over-priced for the quality, but my neighbor was happy with both quality and price.. plenty other restaurants in the area. We booked one night and stayed over a week. There’s a shop and massage on the premises.

Absolutely beautiful little place by the sea, 30 minutes walk from the jetty and night market, good wifi, clean rooms, big balcony. Only regret was that we didn't pay extra for the A/C, rooms get really hot.

The facilities and location os what attracted us to this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The staff are so friendly the only downside was our room was hotter than it was outside we spent most of the time on the balcony, I would of slept out there had it not over looked 2 other rooms. Thank you

This was our 2nd time staying here(last in Feb 2014). Just love this place.So homely and friendly.Staff so helpful and polite. Owner gave me big hug on arrival as she remembered me and loved the fact we were returning customers. Whilst checking some one had the same as they were returning. Everyday we were given 2 free bottles of water sometimes more, room cleaned and replenished with loo roll!
Food very good and reasonably priced.American breakfast free was too big for me!Lovely swimming pool but never used it as only few steps and you are on the beach. Klong Dao and there is hardly anyone on it! I will always come back here if we return to Thailand again as I just love it and it is such good value for money.

A good choice for family vacation
The hotel is just by the side of the beach and a walking distance to eating outlets and shops.
The buildings of this hotel are a bit cramp but its restaurant has a good view of the beach.

Amazing location
Awesome stay at this hotel. They picked us up from the ferry station free of charge. When we got there the staff was so nice and very helpful. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean and the price was perfect. We did have a problem with the AC but they discounted our rate for the night and called a repair man right then and there to come and fix it for us. Amazing stay.

This is a fabulous budget hotel right on a delightful white-sanded beach on a wonderful Thai island. We cancelled a flight to stay an extra 3 days. Owned and managed by an extended family. A range of rooms to suit couples and families. Family friendly. They are all really lovely people. Perfect location in the middle of the beach nearest the ferry - they will fetch you. The upstairs restaurant serves delicious food off a huge menu and it is just the best place to chill out and enjoy a sunset. Or try out the decadent comfort of the carpeted and cushioned sand lounges on the beach. The ocean and infinity pool are perfect temperature with a gentle breeze (February)
They have a small shop, beach bar, competitively priced massage and they also do well-priced onward bookings. Above all, they are genuinely nice people who will do anything to make your stay exceptional. A good mix of nationalities and ages among the guests. Excellent chilled hotel
We stayed 3 nights, after spending a few nights partying in Ko Phi Phi.... Just what we needed. There are some beach bars/ restaurants along the beach. We never ventured out of the place as what we wanted was to relax.

Great beach, definitely a budget hotel
Knowing it was a 3 star it was decent over all. Bedroom was clean but bathroom was lacking: no shower pressure and needed maintenance. Only 1 outlet in the bedroom so needed to unplug the fan to charge devices. Restaurant was was 'ok' but did not serve alcohol. Reception staff was totally disinterested. Rented a scooter which ran out of gas almost immediately because the gauge was broken. The rental price was a bit high too. Lots of families. Evening on th beach was very nice with mats and cushions set up.

Had a great time at Lanta Garden Home. We were made to feel very welcome from the warm reception we had. Great breakfast good service. Clean rooms free water. Very helpful in booking ferries to railay. Would stay and recommend. If you are used to posh hotels then you may not enjoy as is basic but very clean and all you need for a great beach holiday. The beach is literally 15 footsteps away from the reception. And what a beach! Would love to go back! Also what a bargain £100 for 5 days with breakfast for the 2 of us!!Amazing1 Thank you!

There are very swanky hotels with modern architecture, Costa Lanta looks sublime. There are also resorts and small hotels like ours. All varieties.
Our hotel, Lanta Garden Hotel was good value. Full of lovely families and children of all ages having a great time. It is a spirited and happy atmosphere. Reminiscent of Byron Bay 30-40 years ago. There is no starbucks, only family run village restaurants and many bars on the beach. We did a cooking course, which was great fun. Also diving, scuba and fishing available.
Klong Dao is more middle market, a long swathe of a beach reminiscent to those in Australia with refreshing water and clean sand. Further down is Long beach its more hut like accomm in small camps onto the beaches and very rustic.
Our hotel was run by lovely, friendly and helpful muslim women with fantastic senses of humour. There is a beach massage hut by the pool with friendly and happy Thai girls, who provide great facials and massages. I had a massage every day…and i've never had them before.

Fantastisk beliggenhet både når det kommer til strand og restauranter. Ganske lav standard på rom og litt møkkete basseng. Ville ikke bodd i førsteetasje igjen pga mengder av maur. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale. Enkel men god frokost. Veldig gode fruktshakes man kunne bestille til bassenget. Mermaid bar ved siden av var fantastisk til en drink i solnedgang.

Det är jättefin personal som vill hjälpa till med allt. Supertrevligt verkligen. Polen är väldigt bra och trevlig, kanske lite mycket klor i den och på rummet finns ENDAST fläkt så det blir galet varmt vilket gjorde att vi checkade ut en natt tidigare för att vi inte klarade av att sova i värmen.

Jag är en återkommande gäst som stortrivs med lugnet hos Lanta Garden Home. Jag hyr rum med fläkt - funkar alldeles utmärkt. Finns god och prisvärd lunch. Pattaya med crew är mycket mån om sina gäster. Upplevde denna gång att en del gäster utan småbarn "tror" att det är en resort och att poolområdet är ett tyst SPA, dvs viss irritation uppstod då barn lekte/stänkte/stojade. Vill du ha lugn omkring dig = boka boende för endast vuxna. Det är nära till det mesta, fantastisk massage vid infarten till Lanta Garden Home. Rekommenderar detta härliga ställe så ofta jag får tillfälle!

Mukava pieni hotelli, jossa ainakin meidän 10 päivän yöpymisemme aikana oli tosi rauhallista uuden vuoden juhlinnasta huolimatta! Palvelu ystävällistä. Är en återkommande gäst hos Lanta garden, visst det är ngt hårda sängar men bortsett från detta: kanonläge på stranden, bra wi-fi, för mig fungerar det utmärkt att bo i rum med fläkt istf AC, god service med hämta/lämna/flygplats. MKT bra service överlag hos samtlig personal. Du får ex låna handduk när du ligger vid poolen. Familjärt och trevligt på alla sätt! Riklig bra frukostbuffé á la "thai"! Självklart kommer jag tillbaka till - för mig - bästa stället! (Info till dig som vill beställa & dricka alkohol, ex en öl/drink vid poolen el restaurangen = Lanta Garden Home serverar inte alkohol!) Vid infarten till Garden Home, ligger även ett av de bästa ställena för massage - de är grymma, väl investerade baht!

Perus hyvä hotelli. Ei mikään luksus,mutta meille ihan riittävä. Huoneet ehkä vähän vanhahkoja ja parisänky todella kova. Allasalue kiva ja näkymät suoraan merelle. Ruokapuolesta ei kauheesti kokemuksia, muutaman kerran lapset söi jtn pientä. Fruitshaket oli hyviä.

Unser erster Urlaub in Thailand war durchweg positiv, wurde jedoch durch einen Unfall etwas getrübt. Habn en das beste daraus gemacht, die med. Versorgung ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig.
Beim nächsten Mal nehmen wir allerdings ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und nicht mit Ventilator. wurde in den letzten Urlaubstagen ziemlich heiß.Der Erholungswert war in allen Belangen gut.
Ganz besonders gut ist die German Bakkery Nang Sabei, wo wir ein hervorragendes Frühstück bekommen haben. Ist sehr zu Empfehlen

Wir haben viele Ausflüge mit dem Moped kreuz und quer über die Insel gemacht. Andere schöne Strände entdeckt. Bootsausflüge zum Schnorcheln und entdecken von Höhlen und schönen Buchten.
