The beach at the hotel front was spectacular, especially to view the sunset.

The room itself was nice and we had an oceanfront view which was amazing to wake up to. The one down side was there were a lot of bugs.

Overall it was a great stay, but didn’t quite feel like an expensive 4 star hotel stay. Prices were likely high during the holiday season when we stayed.

Really great stay in one of the rooms with a private pool, resort was great, staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was fab, right on the beach. Walkable to other restaurants and bars, comfy bed, will hopefully come back one day.

Title says ADULTS ONLY but that’s only during high season. The place was crawling with kids. They don’t make it well known that it’s only for a short duration that it’s adults only so we got duped.

Staff were rude, the room was miles from anything which sucked in the heat. The pool near our room constantly felt hotter than a spa so wasn’t refreshing. The pool near the beach was freezing and the wind was so bad it sprayed water in the your face constantly.

Great, but hygiene issues spoiled the stay

The hotel overall has a lot of potential but fell short in some key areas during our stay.

Pros:
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, which made certain aspects of our stay pleasant.
The overall ambiance of the hotel is nice, and the location is convenient.

Cons:
Unfortunately, the rear garden with the pool had a very unpleasant smell (sewage), making the pool area unusable. (Waste of money to upgrade to room with private pool).
The hot tub was not very clean, which was disappointing.
I got sick after eating dim sum at the hotel breakfast, which raises concerns about food safety.

While the staff’s kindness was appreciated, the cleanliness and hygiene issues made it hard to fully enjoy our stay.

This was an amazing experience and a wonderful peaceful resort. From the moment we checked in until check out. We were there for our 20th anniversary and they upgraded us to an amazing private villa with our own private plunge pool and bathroom all outside. I can’t think of anything that was terrible. Staff were friendly, great breakfast and close with tuk tuk to Saladan market/ walking street.

Quiet, good location, great staff

Wonderful people and a lovely hotel. Everything was nice a quiet for the whole trip and the location right next to the beach was brilliant.

Breakfast in the morning was great, but otherwise food was just okay - definitely recommend checking out the local places for dinner instead!

Rooms were small for the price (we had the Garden Villa) but functional and clean.

I used the laundry service whilst we were there which was quick and reasonably priced. You could likely get it cheaper by going to one of the local places (where you pay per kg) but it was nice to have it delivered to the room.

We organised a transfer through them from Krabi Airport which was well worth the price as it’s a long drive (~2 hours). We also used the hotel to help organise a hire car to drive and see the island which was seamless.

We would definitely return if visit Krabi again!

It definitely has a hostel feel. The room we got seemed new and was super cute with a private pool and outdoor washroom. The other buildings, main building with restaurant and bar, definitely needs an upgrade ! No darts for the dart table and a pool table that needs to be replaced. The whole property is pretty decayed but the room was great. We didnt eat here except breakfast which was ok. We switched rooms as they "upgraded" us to ocean view but it was very dungeony and I dont think the bed linens were changed. We changed back to the newer rooms with outdoor washroom. Dirty beach with garbage. The layout is really weird as well ... overall needs an upgrade but you're going out everyday and only need a place to sleep I'd say book in the newer rooms.

Lovely relaxing stay, great beach location

Great resort in a lovely location right on a beautiful long sandy beach which was quiet and clean. Service at the hotel is good, we had a problem with the air conditioner in our room but it was fixed quickly. Transfer to the next island was arranged quickly, easily and cheaply via the hotel tour desk, very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great choice and quality even for vegetarians. Pools and sun beds are great. Nearby restaurants are good and a short walk along the beach or down the street. Very quiet but that’s what we wanted. Lovely relaxing stay. Good value.

We stayed at the Twin Lotus Resort for our honeymoon. We booked an oceanfront room. The room was beautiful, and view was spectacular. Breakfast every morning was delicious, there were tons of options and service was fantastic. The only issue we had during our stay is the first night we arrived when they were having a BBQ buffet out on the beach. We checked in around 8pm and when we checked in the concierge told us about the beach buffet and that it was going on until 10pm. We arrived at the buffet at 8:30pm with barely any food left. The server told us the buffet ended at 9pm, and that they wouldn't be replenishing any of the buffet anymore. We were disappointed but then decided to just order off the regular menu because we were tired from traveling all day. The food off the menu was not good, and the service was terrible. Our server didn't even say hello or goodbye to us. No thank you or anything. She just asked what we wanted, walked away.. dropped off food & drinks and then walked away.. handed us our bill and then walked away. We expected more for how much we were paying. We went to the front desk the next morning to tell them what happened and all we got was a quick apology. The rest of the stay was great, but not a great first night being welcomed on our honeymoon.

Almost 5 out of 5 but some niggles

I was quite worried arriving at this resort given some of the very negative reviews recently, especially centring around the "upgrading" of rooms to the new part of the resort. We were upgraded in the end from our booked Superior rooms to Private Pool Deluxe Rooms in this new part. This bit of the resort used to be an adjoining property (Pilanta) but was in November 2018 completely renovated and is now a proper part of Twin Lotus. These rooms are equidistant from the beach as the Superior/"garden" rooms. They are based around a lovely large pool. Although at the back of the resort they are only approx. 4 mins walk (even in the heat!) from reception/breakfast/pool/beach area. There are golf buggies if you don't want to walk. The private outdoor bathroom/lounging area with private pool was lovely and not overlooked by anyone. I was worried about mosquitos but was not troubled at all. The room was spotless and promptly cleaned everyday. The complimentary water in the fridge everyday was a nice touch. The bed was SUPER comfy! Really nice and quiet part of the resort. The air con was very effective. My only room gripe was the pool was not cleaned despite putting the "please clean my pool" sign daily. There was a lot of grime on the tiles above the water level, so this needed a good scrub. The breakfast was pretty good, however annoying that at 9.30am there were low/no stocks of lots of things and breakfast runs until 10.30am. Staff biggest disappointment as not very friendly.

This was a lovely resort with the friendliest, most helpful staff. That said, my friend and I booked the beach front suite, wanting to spend the money for this room upgrade. We requested two twins, but were told those were fully booked when we arrived. They did however move us the next day. Also, our room was next to some construction materials, which given what we paid, was disappointing. Otherwise, the hotel property was beautiful. Although we loved the hotel overall, we did not feel we got our $$$ worth with that specific room.

Great place to stay, the island is bigger than we expected, but the hotel was really beautiful and well maintained. Our room was right on the edge and we would have preferred one a bit closer to the pool and beach. The breakfast was good quality and the food at the cafe on the beach was also decent. The weather on the islands was a bit up and down at this time of year with rain and wind occasionally, but very warm and humid. Some days were beautifully sunny. The wifi in the hotel was quite poor and this was the most disappointing thing for us as it dropped out quite a lot and was slow when it was connected.

Beautiful infinity pool right next to the beach. The beach has soft sand and gentle, calm warm ocean water.
Breakfast buffet was solid with a lot of choices.
The room was spacious and the shower was very nice. There were some mosquitoes that kept getting in - I think the screens in the bathroom weren’t fully effective.

Asked to sign in under different name and country on paperwork. Refused to sign under wrong name. Called Movenpick Resort and got immedite help and room.

Beautiful Beachfront Resort

Everything went so smoothly from check in to check out. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with breakfast and the pool area looking right over the beach: definitely worth getting up early for. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for hire on site as well as scooters for zooming around the island. They also organised a four island tour for us.
The buffet breakfast was amazing and all of the bar and wait staff are so lovely.
Our room was the most basic standard double and it was still huge. Massive bathroom and a screen door which was much appreciated if you like fresh air at night like we do. The only thing was we had a few mosquitos in our room from check in but nothing to stop us staying here again.
I cannot wait to revisit Koh Lanta and stay at Twin Lotus again!

Good hotel...but not at first sight!

The staff was very welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful at all times! Thanks for making us feel good!
The beachfront villa was well maintained and in very good condition. We liked the design, the coffee mashine and the large bed. The patio was nice and around the villas the garden was good. But I missed the rain shower in the bathroom and WIFI wasn’t good. Also, it would have been great to provide water outside the villa to clean feet.
The beach is wonderful with bars/restaurants and the hotel provided enough quality deckchairs and towels. We’ve had a wonderful and romantic private dinner at the beach. It was well organized and a special experience for us. We enjoyed our stay very much.
However, the first impression at the lobby was a bit disappointing. The garden there looks sparse. The lotus ponds look bad and that stream over which a bridge leads to the villas was litterally horrible. The pool at the beach looked nice, but the bar, and that boccia field looked run down. They should ensure everything looks like it should in a five-star hotel. Even though we enjoyed our stay, they entirely failed to overwhealm with a first impression. Room service once took away our fruits. I asked and they said, they‘d look into it and call back. No call, no replacement. Other than that houskeeping and room service is good and they clean thoroughly.
At second glance, the hotel manages to make you feel good, especially because of the people working there and the good villas.

Close to the Beach. Rooms Needs Some Work

We booked 6 nights at the Twin Lotus. Upon arrival we were told our original room was not available for the first night and they placed us in the 900 wing (older section) of the resort. This was very far away from the main lodge and the beach. We had the option to move to our reserved room after the first night but opted to stay in the room they gave us (they gave us daily food vouchers). We opted to stay as we typically don't spend much time at the resort but like to travel around. The staff were very nice. I would recommend that the rooms in the 900 wing be updated and they try harder to avoid overbooking rooms. I think if I went back to Koh Lanta I would pick a more central resort or apartment as it was pretty far away from the main street.

Great Hotel

Fabulous hotel, the staff are amazingly helpful and polite, we were upgraded and the villas were beautiful and comfortable. We rented a motorbike for a few pounds a day and it is very safe riding around the island, everything moves quite slowly, and the drive along the beach road to the national park is very beautiful, otherwise take cheap tuk tuks. The hotel is very close to Saladan Pier with all the restaurants etc. Loved this hotel and could not fault it. We will be back

Good for Koh Lanta Standards

My husband and I stayed at the twin lotus hotel for 5 nights. My review is fully based on a number of caveats that should be bourne in mind, including the island has only had western influences in the past 10 years and the staff clearly try very hard. A 5 star on Koh Lanta will be no more than 3 for western standards.
On arriving to our pool villa I found a very large centipede on the room. These can bite. The spa bath did not work and upon running water into the bath two red parasites were in the water.
I asked to be moved roomed based on what I had seen and the manager was very happy to accommodate us and move us to a high level room.
Not having the private pool was not a concern as it did not look appealing not particularly clean, albeit that was my personal opinion and I did not actually test the cleanliness of the water.
We had a full body Thai massage at the resort spa. This was great and the service impeccable.
We stayed over New Year’s Eve and the resort were putting on a gala dinner. As my caveats above, the staff clearly tried very hard however I did not enjoy the buffet and the entertainment was more 1980’s butlins, however to the Thai people it was very impressive. My husband and I were initially charged 5000 bht per person to attend. I found this unfair as we were not told of an additional charge and we were prevented from using the facilities I.e. restaurant and pool bar. We had no choice but to attend the gala dinner. The fitness centre was adequate.

First impressions last: We stayed here for our honeymoon after travelling the whole day.We informed the hotel of our honeymoon prior to our arrival yet we were given a dark and dingy room tucked away in a corner of the hotel that looked nothing like the photos on the website; cracked tiles in the bathroom, grotty grouting and badly stained woodwork, a pathetic basket of 4 fruits that looked like they had been there for several days. All this after witnessing a snake being killed and then removed in a plastic bag by the Reception Area!

We went back to Reception, deflated, and requested another room. I also explained to the Receptionist that we were here for our Honeymoon and that it had been mentioned at the time of booking.

We were given a room which was better i.e. Looked more like the photos on the website. The bathroom however had no ventilation, the drains smelled and the humidity was stifling in there during the daytime.

I fully expected that the oversight would be rectified over the next day or so with some small gesture in the room perhaps as a surprise, sadly nothing happened other than Housekeeping lit an oil burner which smelled of eucalyptus to mask the bad smell in the bathroom on one of the days of our stay!

The breakfast area is not enclosed and there are small birds always pecking away at the food at any opportunity, the breakfast furniture sometimes has bird droppings on it. It would be better to enclose and air

Beautiful location for this property. The beach and pool area are stunning, the rest of the property is poorly maintained. The fitness centre was dirty and 80% of the equipment was not working. The rooms, reception area are showing their age and basic maintain routines are lacking. Bathrooms and fitness area were always out of drying towels or toilet paper. Food is ok but not meeting a 4.5 star hotel. A requested hotel pick up from the ferry did not materialize.

Twin Lotus was a lovely resort. It was not a super luxurious place, but the room was clean and well-priced, and the beach & pool were great. Everyone who worked there went above and beyond to help out. The food was good (and again, pretty cheap for resort food), and there are restaurants nearby for dinner. I enjoyed that it was adults-only. They have an activities desk where you can sign up for day tours, etc. We utilized it twice are were not disappointed. The island of Koh Lanta is quieter than Koh Phi Phi and other more well-known destinations; that was a big plus for us. I would definitely return!

Romantic beach-front hotel

The hotel is laid out as a set of private villas dispersed across the hotel grounds. Hotel grounds are beautiful and well-kept - gardens, nice landscaping, two pools, fitness center, two restaurants. Front pool overlooks the beach. In addition, there are sun beds on the beach (but unfortunately no umbrellas). Beach was practically deserted when we were there! Rooms themselves are clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. People at front desk were very helpful and gave us information about boat tours. Ideal place of couples. Easy walking distance to lots of nice beach-front restaurants.

We were upgraded to a Garden Villa which was lovely - so quiet. Villa was lovely and spacious. All staff were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Beach was quiet but plenty of bars, restaurants, massages, laundry, mini marts etc. Saladan (the main town) was about 20 mins walk away with market stalls, shops and small restaurants on stilts over the water (very cheap and good). We would get a tuktuk back for 100 baht as the roads were unlit. We will visit again!!

We stayed here in March and compared to the majority Thailand hotels- this one is nice. The only issue we had (but I thinks it's a Thailand issue) is the smell from the toilets. The smell was very annoying and disturbing especially if you are not used to it. We kept out toilet door closed all the time, otherwise , the smell penetrates into the bedroom and it's gross.
The staff here is very kind and attentive.
The facility overall is nice . The dining room is spacious, overall grounds are good and have some areas here and there showing rust and age, but the hotel maintenance staff seems to be working on it consistently.

World class beach

Koh Lanta is much less crowded than Aonang, and this hotel sits on one of the best locations on a superb beach. The pool is beach side, and they have a nice restaurant right there. Beautiful tropical setting.

We had an amazing time here. The staff were so kind and helpful. Facilities are excellent and the pool is literally a few steps from the beach. The food was good and prices were really fair. I would highly recommend staying here. I would like to come back for sure!

Loved the fact most others preferred to swimming pool it rather than the actual warm beach 5 metres away :)
Could have breakfast room used as another eating place rather than just the baracudda day and night.

Outdoor lobby

The hotel itself is really unique. The "lobby" and dinner areas are all outside, which gives it the whole resort feel. It's right on the beach, so excursions all come right to the hotel to pick you up by speedboat. Can't really complain much about this hotel, except for the price, which is a little more expensive than I thought given what you get.

Twin Lotus Paradise

We ended our trip around the andaman islands at this resort to chill out before we headed back home and it was the luxury we hoped it would be, rooms were very nice, staff were very helpful and the beach and infinity pool were great to chill out by. Special mention to the manager who helped us out after we decided we liked it so much he got us a villa for an extra night.

Not a good beach

The resort was situated on the worst part of the beach. It must have been low tide. Spent most of the time by the pool. Breakfast was awful. Don't expect much. However, the room was very nicely decorated and spacious. Bike rentals were in terrible condition. Check the tires and brakes. Location was very close to the pier. Very convenient to Saladan town.

Fantastic hotel, location and amenities

I stayed here for my honeymoon and it was an excellent stay but the staff speak poor English and this caused many misunderstandings over requests and food etc. I requested they do something special for our honeymoon but nothing was provided and many times a food or drink order was not what we asked for. Instead of clarifying what was ordered the staff did not want toose face and so would take our orders incorrectly. Also no pick up provided from Koh Lanta pier which is very poor for an expensive hotel like this

But overall I still really enjoyed my stay there and had a wonderful time

If they improved their customer service this would be a 5 star review

Amazing garden/beach view

From the reviews we read prior to booking, Twin Lotus did not fail its reviewers. From the moment we walked in, we were served yummy fresh sweet juice with a cold wet towel! Staff are friendly and speaks good English (which means they speak English at their best so please be kind before you judge since you are in a foreign country. They're not gona be your typical psychotherapy client). Amazing garden terrace and love their open space everywhere (from lobby to the pool to your shower). Your room always smells like some sort of exotic flower. Breakfast is delicious especially their coconut jam! Awesome view of the ocean right at the pool! Same as bar and restaurant. You get more than what you pay for since it's a resort.

Quiet...relaxing... and wet in August

Great location. Ko Lanta is a quiet location so no late night action here !!2 ferries and a long drive from Krabi (3+ hours)....but location spectacular....right on super quiet beach.200 meters stroll on the beach to Mookandabar....one of the best beach bars in the world for sunset beers.200 meters out front of property to best restaurant on island. August is monsoon season...5 days of non stop rain for every day of sunshine (although the rain is still warm :-0).

Most horrible hotel services I’ve encountered. Checked in with my boyfriend at around 8pm. The place was deserted. Our bedding and the sofa cushions were stained. After settling in, we decided to get dinner at the hotel restaurant. Regret. We went up to the second floor and it was dead empty- literally, no staff, no customers. We ordered the beef salad, green curry with duck, and Bolognese. The curry was watery and the duck was beyond dry and brown. Pasta was also dry and bland, ordered a mojito, but got a margarita. My boyfriend, was tired, stressed, and dissatisfied with the price and quality of the food, so he decided to talk to the manager. Talked to the manager- she took the entrees off our bill. All was dandy. Until another waiter comes up to out table, one we've never met before-Solae. He approached us with a hostile attitude. The tone of his voice immediately turned the whole situation personal. “So you don’t like our food?” My boyfriend told him yes and that we had already wrote down our complaints. Waiter repeats and we say yes once more. We must have said yes about five times and every time we did he would produce this incredulous face, throw his hands up like the world’s his oyster, and smile out into the ocean like he cant believe we had the balls to speak up. “So everyone here likes the food, but you? Over 200 ppl and only you don't like?" NO, read the reviews. Man, I need at least 3,000 characters to finish this. Checked out the next day and got a refund. Fin.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I was utterly disappointed with the hotel policy of not telling the guest or indicating clearly that children is not allow in tha hotel while I was doing the booking.i was decline check in as I brought my daughter w me.
To add things worse the hotel refuse to give full refund which I find it rediculas as I have not even stay at the hotel.
I hope this review serve as a warning to all those parents that wish to bring along their child.
I feel that I am being ripped off.

A bit out of the way for shops, nightlife etc but a great hotel if you just want to relax by the pool. There is a beach pretty much on the back door and the staff greeted us with cold towels and a refreshing drink which was very welcomed. Clean rooms showers etc would definitely stay again

Beautiful resort, great staff

Great for a getaway. Secluded and clean beach. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Spacious rooms. Beachfront and Seaview rooms are amazingly beautiful. Infinity pool is great and has amazing sunset views. Close to town, better if you have a scooter though.

Excellent stay at Twin Lotus. We loved it so much we extended our stay by two days. the beach is beautiful and very clean. The beach areas in either side of the Twin Lotus property is not well kept and had lots of garbage all over. The room was nice but the towels were dingy and need replacing. Food at the hotel is expensive and not great. Better to take a tuk tuk to town to eat.

Well compensated / hotel to be recommended

We arrived at the hotel and she we went to the room, the room was not yet ready. We had to wait 45 min. We complaint and accordingly we got a nice compensation.
In general the hotel location is very nice, the hotel is clean and quite. The staff is very true fly and helpfull specially the people at the restaurant beside the pool :-)
Breakfast buffet also very good! It is usually until 10:30 but they were very flexible even on bringing us some coffe after the finishing time.
In general definetly a recommendation!

A great option if you want the best of both worlds

The Twin Lotus was our second stop on Koh Lanta. This hotel was in a great location, at the best end of the 3km beach - quiet and a huge expanse of soft sand and easy entry to the sea. free yoga on the beach next door and plenty of people to watch on your other side, but without being in the busier part. its very easy from here to either walk along the beach to other bars/eateries for a change of scenery, or take a 50B tuk tuk into Saladan or 100B to Long beach. Rooms were classy, simple and spacious. We were in a bungalow, which in terms of location and privacy we preferred versus the superior and deluxe rooms which are in a 2 floor block. we hired bikes form the hotel - only 50B for a whole day, and the gym and pools were of good quality and clean. Conny the new manager is very visible and energetic - clearly determined to keep his the ratings up. so whilst not 5 star, and can't be compared to The Pimalia, we believed it offered excellent value and a brilliant choice for Koh lanta. We would both recommend and revisit. Our only complaint could be a wait for sunbeds on a couple of days when the hotel was at full capacity. There is no availability issue as each bungalow has 2 loungers, we just had to wait a few minutes while some were moved. This in itself wouldn't be an issue of the hotel tackled the issue of guests 'reserving sunbeds'. we spotted some had 2 - one in the shade and one in full sun.

Wonderful Christmas stay

We spent 2 days over Christmas vacation, room was beautiful, right on the beach, staff service was excellent, the Manager also delivered superior personal service and had a genuine interest in making our stay wonderful. A variety of dishes for the Christmas dinner was tasty, plentiful and in a beautiful setting.

Quiet Hotel to retreat to

Reception staff does not speak english well and is not very friendly. This is one of the first resort I came across that does not help customers with currency exchange. Resort spa ambience is good but service and skills are average, also the bed is not comfortable to lie on, which is something the spa really needs to look into.
I was in a deluxe room and the balcony has a nice day bed and sofa. However due to the humidity of the weather, it may be more comfortable if there is a fan in that area.

Many things on the menu are not available (eg. lobster and crab, beef satay). In that case, they should have inform the customer

Amazing resort on relaxing island

This resort has everything to offer that one could ask for. The rooms are spacy, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Especially the bathroom excited me, as that is usually the least clean and appealing room in a hotel. Everything is clean, and you just feel like spending all your time inside.

The resort itsself is big and also very clean and beautiful, quiet and totally relaxing atmosphere.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast offered has a wide range of food to choose from.

The only thing that is a little disappointing is the beach, it's not well maintained and quiet dirty. Not sure if this was because we stayed during off season.

All in all very recommended!

Very nice hotel and still ways for improvement

Very nice hotel, perhaps because we were staying at their best view beach front villa.

Good points:
Room = comfortable
View = prefect
Pool = nice and clean with good view
Beach = wide and long

Improvement points:
Staff = need more training. e.g. several times when I spoke to the staff, they were not helpful and even made me angry and felt silly myself to ask, even the staff speak good English.
Food = room for improvement
Beach = need regular cleansing
Transport = it's a island long way from the city and airport, better organization and arrangement is needed by the hotel

Personal Advice:
Transport = make advance arrangement to reach and leave the hotel/island
Food = the seafood places at the nearby pier should fit
Beach = avoid low season as wind and beach condition is unpredictable

Overall, it is a very nice hotel with peace, beach and sunset. Will come back.

Wonderful hotel!!!

When we arrived they gave us free upgrade since we were the first timer to their hotel so we got a garden villa instead of regular room. the room was so clean and nice with amazing bed. down blankets bottom and top. Great breakfast with a pool and ocean views with almost privatized beach. vegies and fruits were so fresh, their hot food was also great, servers are so friendly and smiley. Its pool was also wonderful. They have lots of things as well for free rental such as kayaks. We stayed for 4 nights and it was just wonderful. I will go back for sure.

Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay

Twin Lotus Koh Lanta is fabulous all round. The breakfast was quite good and the service is second-to-none! Free bicycles make getting around the local area very easy and enjoyable. We had a wonderful time at Twin Lotus and would definitely recommend it to others seeking a relaxing getaway!

`Fantastic Resort

I stayed here with my daughter for four nights as we heard the island was very beautiful and they were right! My only gripe was that there were too few plug sockets to charge electrical items in our room. Even the kettle had to be bolied on the floor! Apart from that it gets 10/10 from us as we were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.

Lovely hotel on the beach

You'll see some bizarre reviews around the Internet criticising very obscure things about Twin Lotus: ranging from too many crabs on the beach to snakes in the hotel grounds. Not entirely surprising for somewhere in the tropics and the hotel is hardly at fault!

My wife and I stayed here out of peak season so the rates were 50% cheaper. The room and facilities were fantastic and the staff were lovely. Considering what we got for just over $100 AUD a night it was a bargain.

Great for total chill-out

Booked a garden villa for a 3 day break and loved it. Room was large and nicely laid out and a 2 mins walk from the pool and the beach. Having no kids at the complex meant for a very chilled atmosphere even at the pool. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of choice and lunch and dinner could be eaten at the beach bar. Food at the beach bar was good quality with a decent selection of starters mains and deserts - as well as bar food like burgers and sandwiches. Overall we loved it.
For transfers to/from the hotel we booked a private mini bus from the hotel. Lots of space and very comfortable. Don't be put off by the 2 short ferry rides on the way - they're an experience in themselves and give some great views of this beautiful country.
