The staff here treated us like family. OIL
and Lola were amazing with my 3year old. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were clean and is located right on the beach. Easy to get around the island with the scooters that you can rent from the hotel

Nice affordable hotel, right on the beach.

Hotel was great. Staff was friendly, room was in good condition with plenty of outlets (some of our other hotel rooms had only 1 outlet). Refrigerator and AC in room, plus shower water got hot enough. Right on the beach. They rent scooters for a good rate, and didn't attempt anything shady with the rental, making it very easy to get around the island. Attached restaurant was decent as well and reasonably priced considering it is beach-front. Breakfast was free and included toast, watermelon, and made to order eggs.

Beach relax holiday hotel

Nice off the street hotel by the beach so nice and quiet but close walking distance along the beach or road to many things.
Staff lovely and friendly very helpful.
Best chicken cashew nut dish ever.
Good size swimming pool and plenty of relaxing space without the fancy resort prices and feel.
Very friendly and relaxed enviroment. Great wifi and aircon.
Definately go back again.

It's good for what it is.

You need to understand that Koh Lanta is a commercially untouched island. Meaning you will not find your regular big branded hotels here. This resort is a family run business. Please do not go in expecting a world renowned 4 star service. That being said, the lady who runs this place, Lolla, was very kind to us. The room was comfortable and we have sea view and pool view. Everything was shut when we arrived and we couldn't exchange money. She kindly loaned us 2000B to pay back at check out. Breakfast was 2 toasts, butter, jam, 2 eggs sunny side up and coffee.

Great Opportunity Resort with little TLC

This hotel has huge potential. The restaurant staff are helpful and extremely friendly despite the language limitation. First impression of the hotel is not great - as you enter the resort you look at a hotel room that has been turned into a store room. The balcony is piled with cribs, dirty linen and cleaning equipment. This should be out of the customers views or stored in an area that doesn't give you that first impression of the hotel.
The hotel is located in a great swimming beach area and close enough to the pier and good restaurants. On site pool is large however the water temp is very warm however swimming in the sea is no problem. The resort is a great location for children and the hotel staff make the children feel very at home.
Breakfast is very limited however the quantity is no problem.
On check in, we were not provided the room that we had initially reserved on the internet so be clear of your room type and what you paid for. Sea view and Beachside view are two different room options and the sea view doesn't indicate that you actually have sea views. This was a little let down and after some words, we were granted a room where we could view the sea from our balcony.
Room service only takes place if you request this - no request - no room cleaning.
Onsite massage parlour was great and well worth the price.

My kids and i loved this hotel. The staff was amazing. The location was perfect. They helped us with all our needs. I was sad to leave. I would love to come back with or without my kids. I will be recommending this place to others.

Good Value

It was great
But when we arrived we thought it was terrible. It was full of kids and very noisy. We booked a superior room with sea view, expecting a bungalow on the beach. We got a second floor room and you could just about see the sea from the balcony.
But it was great to sit on the North facing balcony (that is in the shade)with some privacy watching the comings and goings.
We were near the Reggae Bar but it was never noisy or on late.
No room service - 4 nights and no one came into the room. But there was a bin outside which got emptied and they did leave 2 bottles of water there each day.
Fridge in the room and a kettle. But no cups or tea/coffee making stuff. Balcony furniture included a hammock.
Good air conditioning.
Restaurant food all freshly cooked. Lovely fruit shakes. Friendly helpful staff.
Large pool. Limited supply of sunbeds.
Lovely beach, very gently slope, no waves, but some rocks, and too shallow for some people.
I liked the location. Nice to walk along the beach and nice mix of local and tourist shops. 15 Baht TukTuk ride to ferry port of Saladan

I förhållande till priset, 1700kr/ natt, är det mycket låg standard. Rummet är slitet, toaletten luktar starkt av avlopp, maten var inte bra och personalen ointresserad. Inte värt pengarna på något vis tyvärr.

Det er et af de billigere “resorts” tæt på Long Beach.
Der er en hyggelig “Vibe” og både a/c og pool.

Der var styr på tingene, men kvalitet og pris hænger sammen - jeg synes man få hvad man betaler for.

Poolen var ikke rigtig ren, mange blade og nåle. Morgenmaden ikke ret god.

Det ligger i gå-afstand fra Long Beach.

Gode restauranter på stranden.

Fantastic service and tremendous hospitality. We decided not to stay as the room we got was a bit too small and everything else fully booked. The staff was really understanding and helpers all the way with cancellation. Environment is fantastic and great for family w small kids. Super friendly and family touch on everything.

Rekommenderas!!!

Bra boende för det priset. Lungt läge. Lite förvirrande beskrivning av rummen, vi trodde vi bokat hus vid poolen men det var bokat på andra våningen längst bort från poolen. Men som tur var gick det att få det vi ville ha ändå men det var ju dyrare förstås! Mycket trevlig personal! Städning är lite dålig men det har det varit på alla boenden som vi varit på i thailand. Kommer att bo där nästa gång vi åker!

Arrivé sur place en même tps qu'un grand groupe, Lola a fait de son mieux pour nous mettre à l'aise et nous aider. La chambre en face de la piscine est très bien situé et nous a permis d'assister à de beaux couchés de soleil. Bon rapport qualité prix pour nous, pour un hôtel situé directement sur la plage.

Familj på 2 vuxna, 2 barn. Bodde i familjerum, dåligt m förvaring. Rummet var slitet, blandaren i tvättstället lös. Ac läckte ner i sängen, stopp i avloppet i duschen men åtgärdades efter tillsägelse. Dålig info vad som ingick i frukosten, fanns en meny som visades först efter en vecka.

Nette Anlage am Strand

Wir waren mit drei Kindern (2,5,8) in einem Family Room. Das Zimmer hatte ein Doppelbett und ein Stockbett; 1 Beistellbett für die Jüngste gab es auf Anfrage. Das Zimmer war stets sauber, allerdings fehlte mir persönlich ein Schrank! Es gab lediglich ein Regal, wir lebten also knapp 3 Wo aus dem Koffer, was ich persönlich nicht gern hab. Wenn man aber wie die meisten Gäste hier meist nur ein paar Tage hier verweilt und dann weiterzieht ist das ausreichend. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt, das Essen war lecker, das Personal total freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Strsnd und das Meer so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Das einzige Manko war der Gestank - es roch unerträglich oft und leider auch meist abends nach Abwasser. Das machte und ein gemütliches Sitzen auf der Terrasse unmöglich. Ob das nun an dem Bach in der Nähe lag oder den Auffangtanks wisden wir nicht, wahrscheinlich beides.

Jättebra service! Vi hade först ett standardrum men blev uppgraderade till ett superiorrum av någon anledning. I standardrummet hade vi besök av flera kackerlackor och toan var inte städad när vi checkade in. Superiorrummet hade utsikt mot pool och strand, hade värdeförvaringsskåp, myggnät vid sängen och skönare säng än standardrummet i övrigt ingen skillnad. Hotellet låg nästan längst bort på klong dao stranden. Maten på hotellet var inte prisvärd och inte speciellt god, frukosten var enkel (stekt ägg/omelett/äggröra, kaffe/te, juice, rostbröd, marmelad och frukt)

Vietimme täällä pitkän loman. Kaunis ja rentouttava paikka. Huoneissa yksinkertainen sisustus. Esim. vedenkeitintä ei huoneissa ole, mutta saimme sen pyytämällä. Huonehintaan kuului vesipullot, nämä unohtuivat välillä toimittaa. Samoin siivoojat unohtivat usein täydentää wc-paperit.
Hotellin henkilökunta erittäin mukavaa, ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Ranta kaunis. Lähellä hyviä ruokapaikkoja, ja maanantaisin markkinat ihan hotellin vieressä. Muutoin ostokset kannatti hoitaa esim. Saladanissa. Hotellin ravintolakin ihan ok, mutta parempia ruokaravintoloita löytyi lähistöltä.

Ihan ok

Yövyimme täällä 4 yötä. Varmasti hyvä hotelli niille, joille vaatimattomammat tilat eivät ole haitaksi. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Uima-altaassa kuumaa ja likaista vettä ja huoneen kunto ei vastannut kuvia. Ihan ok hinta-laatusuhde mutta Resort-sana johdattaa harhaan.

Okay ophold

Mit ophold på banan Beach var fint nok. Det ligger for langt væk fra byen til min smag, men super dejligt at det ligger lige ved stranden.
Poolen var meget varm, hvilket ikke er så rart når man vil køles ned. Morgenmaden var ikke så god. Internettet virkede ikke optimalt. Personalet er søde og imødekommende og friske på at hjælpe.

Hallo die Zimmer sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen auch das Bad war richtig schmuddelig und ich glaube wir hatten ein gelsennest im Zimmer hab noch nie soviele Gelsen gesehen aber zum Glück gab es ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett das Internet war sehr langsam und am Abend hat es fast garnicht funktioniert aber die hotelanlage ist sehr liebevoll gemacht schönes Pool und gutes Frühstück

Rauhallinen hotelli rannalla

Todella rauhallinen paikka maaliskuun lopussa. Ystävällinen palvelu. Lähellä marketti ja paljon hyviä ravintoloita. Huoneessa ei ollut mitään turhaa. Kylpyhuoneessa haisi melko paha.
Aamupala yksinkertainen mutta riittävä.
Hieronnat mahtavia.

Ett ställe som kan rekommenderas

Banana Beach Resort är en angenäm överraskning och ligger alldeles vid strandkanten med många bra matställen i närheten. Anläggningen har ärliga tre stjärnor och till skillnad mot många andra ställen ljuger inte bilderna. Servicen var mycket bra med trevlig personal. Särskilt uppskattade vi den hjälpsamme och trevlige Noom som arbetade från tidig morgon till sen kväll och receptionens hjälpsamma härskarinna Oil. Banana Beach Resort rekommenderar vi gärna.

Iso huone ja oma patio ns. paritalo-systeemillä. Huoneissa parisänky ja lapsille kerrossänky. Yksinkertaiset ja puhtaat huoneet, suihkuhuone alkeellinen. Varaa moskiittomyrkkyä, hotellin alueella illalla moskiittoja. Lähellä huonetta uima-allas ja ranta. Lähellä hotellia torimyyjä joka aloitti illalla mikrofoniin kauppaamisen yömyöhään (ja soitti musiikkia). Kuului huoneeseen, muuten rauhallinen hotelli. Aamupala todella suppea, ei kannata maksaa.

Ok hotell men störande nattliv

Hotellet är relativt nytt och alla rum verkar inte vara fullt ut inredda ännu. Fräscht och bra i övrigt. Dock en stor nackdel med hög musik från närliggande bar långt in på natten. Verkligen störande!
Denna delen av stranden Klong Dao är sämst ur badperspektiv. Det är mycket finare norrut.

Sehr herzliches und freundliches Servicepersonal

Leider war das Hotel bei unserer Ankunft \"overbooked\" trotz online Buchung am Vortag. Die erste Nacht verbrachten wir in einer Bungalowanlage in der Nähe. Transfer sowie alles weitere wurde vom Hotel organisiert. Zurück im Banana Beach Resort waren wir zuerst nicht so begeistert. Wir erhielten nicht unser gewünschtes Zimmer. Sie meinten es zwar gut und gaben uns ein Zimmer nähe Pool und Strand. Das Zimmer war gross und sauber. Leider etwas minimalistisch in der Ausstattung. Es gab keinen grossen Spiegel, sowie auch keine Nachttischlampen und Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Kleider. Frühstück war inklusive und man konnte Bestellen was man möchte. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und herzlich, die Reception war immer hilfsbereit. Man fühlte sich sehr wilkommen. Die Lage ist auch super, direkt am Stand. Gerade beim Restaurant gibts es einen Massagesalon mit Meerblick und super Massagepersonal! Im grossen und ganzen haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wenn man betreffend Komfort in den Zimmern nicht zuviel erwartet, hält man es dort gerne ein paar Tage aus.

Die meisten Gäste sind Familien mit Kleinkinder. Trotzdem war unserer Aufenthalt sehr entspannend. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Immer wieder gern.
