Hotel is in a Great position right on the beach and lots of restaurants close by. Liked the Bungalow style accommodation. The reception staff were very helpful in organising transport and tours.

I read some awful reviews on the net and almost cancelled our booking, but I am glad I didn’t. It’s true the bamboo bungalows have a lot of gaps, but really almost no bugs. And the mosquito net over the bed had more holes than could be counted, but the nice young woman at reception had it changed to one that only had 1 small hole. The sheets and towels were changed daily. Food at restaurant was good. Staff was very kind. Beach beautiful.

This was one of the biggest and niceat bungalows I have ever stayed in. However for the price I am glad it was large, still figuring out if it was worth the money as the pool was pretty gross and not really maintained, definitely did not want to go in it, the wifi was nonexistant too but it was a very nice bungalow with a great balcony and literally steps from the beach. Will probably stay again...

When we entered we thought we had arrived at a scrap yard - not very confidence boosting!! The resort itself is, as one would expect, very basic but I loved my room - really spacious and with an extra little room with a single bed. Overall I would have stayed here but my friend wasn't happy - much too basic for her. Great staff and good food.

Enjoyed our stay. Square footage includes patio, okay with us but should be mentioned. We had 107 which is the closest to beach so I could hear the waves going to sleep. Ahmed is very kind and helpful. I would suggest this accommodation! The road is only a couple hundred meters. One can find laundry, food and mini marts. Scooters for rent for daily rate, very cheap.

Beautiful rustic place to stay right on Long Beach
Eco-friendly rustic lodge right on the beach. The staff is nice and helpful, too. They have a bar and restaurant right on the beach. You basically get your own private cabin on a beachfront campground with very pretty surroundings. I would stay here again.

Eco Lanta is right on the beach. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and pleasing but definitely have a bit of a rustic feel. There were many older couples and families at this resort so it has a calm and laid- back feel. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

Not worth the money
Honestly for the price this place isn’t worth it. I’m not one to put negative reviews, I’m just being honest here. The name is deceiving. There isn’t really anything eco friendly about this place other than that the bungalows are made of bamboo. The service is really bad at this place as is the vibe of the staff. We spent 5 nights at Eco Lanta of our 3 week holiday all over southern Thailand and my husband and I both agreed that this place was the only negative experience we had on our whole trip. The food is sub par and over priced for the area. However there are good restaurants within walking distance on the beach. The bungalows are very very very basic for the price.(they did have Netflix though!) Our bed was so uncomfortable. The cleaning staff are very nice and so is the older lady at the front desk but the wait staff at restaurant are beyond lazy and not friendly. They make you feel unwelcome. The owner/boss lady walks around talking about you Right in front of you in Thai(I understand some Thai) and has these two dogs that should not be around people let alone around guests. This was the most expensive stay on our entire trip and we felt such a rip off. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Superb location right on the beach but doesn't reach its full potential due to other shortcomings. Aircon struggles. Could be a lot cleaner. Cabins not insect proof but net provided. Had a rat in the shower (but he/she left when we used it!!) Staff helpful. Restaurant staff great.

Bungalowerne er hyggelige, med en dejlig overdækket terrasse, så man kan sidde udenfor og direkte der er adgang til en lækker strand. Hytterne er lavet af bambus, og der er mange huller, så vi havde både frøer og kakerlakker på værelset. Der er dog myggenet om sengen, så man kan sove uden kryb i sengen. Service på stedet er ikke så godt, vi skulle spørge før vi kunne få rengjort værelset, og de kom så lige om eftermiddagen, hvor man gerne ville have været på værelset. Maden er ikke pengene værd, men hvis man er til thaimad, så ligger der en hyggelig restaurant (restaurant Family) lige på hjørnet ude ved vejen, som laver virkelig god mad til en rigtig fin pris - vi endte med at spise der både frokost og aftensmad flere af dagene. Der er en pool på hotellet, men den er træt og vandet er helt grønt, så hvis man foretrækker hotel med pool, så kan hotellet ikke anbefales.

Dårlig service i smukke omgivelser
Smukke omgivelser og søde hytter. Vi kunne ikke få udleveret badehåndklæder selvom vi spurgte flere gange i løbet af vores ophold, og endte med at bruge dem fra hotelværelset hvilket betød at vi ingen håndklæder havde til alm brug i et par dage… derudover gik vores køleskab amok på frys og sprang en glasflaske m vand. Der var også en frø og en kakkelak på værelset, men det havde vi forberedt os på. Vi havde en masse dejlige timer på stranden - selvom vi flere gange blev bedt om at betale for strandstolene da vi sjovt nok ikke havde hotellets håndklæder, men var blevet nødsaget til at købe vores egne - men søgte især andre steder hen for mad, da kvaliteten af maden i restauranten var virkelig dårlig. Fik på et tidspunkt en toast hvor der stadig var spor af plastic fra osten og den var ikke engang varmet hele vejen igennem…. Så flot sted, meget autentisk men mad og service kunne virkelig godt oppes :)

Confort des chambres et salle de bain / toilette vraiment rudimentaire mais totalement en ligne avec ce qu'on peut attendre d'un lodge écolo. Pas assez de lumière dans la salle de bain, interdiction de jeter le papier toilette dans la chasse d'eau (pas très pratique ni agréable) et insectes parfois qui pénètrent dans les chambres par les interstices de la fabrication en bambou. Cà aussi c'est en ligne avec un lodge écolo. Restauration très bonne bien que pas donnée pour la Thaïlande. En revanche il faut absolument remplacer les matelas de transats sur la plage, ils ont vraiment fait leur temps et sont déchirés. Il faut aussi des parasols, ce manque de parasol est une grosse lacune surtout l'après-midi. Sinon Pick, qui est sur place du soir au matin, est vraiment sympathique et efficace.

Das Ambiente (der Hüttenstil/die Bungalows) sind einzigartig, dadurch entsteht ein einzigartiges Feeling. Die Lage am Strand (Long Beach) ist fantastisch, vor allem für Familien. Wir hatten am Anfang irrtümlicherweise Panik wegen der Mücken/Moskitoschutzvorrichtungen, allerdings sind zahlreiche Maßnahmen vorhanden, so dass wir keinerlei Probleme hatten.Das Personal ist außerordentlich nett und zuvorkommend.

sehr schöne und ruhige Anlage, ab 22h hört man nur mehr das Meer rauschen und die Geckos rufen! Die Bungalows sind aus Bambus da kommen auch Insekten ins Zimmer aber man hat ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett! Die Inhaber organisieren ALLES was man benötigt (Moped, Ausflüge, Flughafentransfer) zu dem gleichen Preis wie in der „Stadt“!
Das Zimmer wird jeden Tag gereinigt und man bekommt frische Handtücher, nur das Bett ist eine Matraze die am Boden liegt, dennoch sehr bequem. Für Naturliebhaber sehr gut geeignet, vom Balkon kann man Vögel, Zirkaden, Gekos, Agamen und wenn man Glück hat auch den ein oder anderen Waran beobachten. Ich habe sogar im Februar wo es sehr trocken war 3 Froscharten gesehen! Ich fand es hervorragend und sehr günstig in Summe!

I stayed here for 4 days and had a wonderful time! The bungalows are almost located on the beach and you have a great view to the water from the porch (super cosy porch btw!). Bungalows are very cosy and bed is comfortable. The AC takes a while to get started but once there it was great. The staff is super friendly and the food was great at the restaurant! It was pretty pricey but that is my only negative thing I can say about this place. I will stay there again next year!

Tolle Unterkunft mit Bambus-Hütten, wie man sie in Thailand nur noch selten findet. Sehr nettes Personal und ein wunderschöner Sandstrand, der zumindest während unseres Aufenthalts recht leer war. Direkt am Strand befinden sich in Laufreichweite auch mehrere nette (und günstigere) Restaurants.

Пляж самый лучший на Ланте! Без отливов, чистый, немноголюдный. Дожди шли после обеда и ближе к вечеру, по утрам всегда солнце.
Очень милое кафе на пляже, приветливый персонал, безумно уютная обстановка в отеле, чувствуешь себя как дома.

В целом остров очень спокойный, здесь отдыхаешь душой! Если вы хотите безумных тусовок - то можете отправиться с Ланты на Пхи-пхи - там найдете бурные пляжные вечеринки с безумными фаер-шоу и алкоголем.
Домики прекрасны! Если вы относитесь к ним как к турбазе или дачным домикам и не требуете 5-звездочного комфорта, то вам определенно понравится.
Пляж самый лучший на Ланте! Без отливов, чистый, немноголюдный. Дожди шли после обеда и ближе к вечеру, по утрам всегда солнце.
