Excellent value for money. A great location on Long Beach close to great restaurants. Nice small pool for kids. Some updating would be beneficial with comfier pool loungers and repairing the broken tiles around the pool. The accommodation was basic and rustic and as you’re in nature it’s noisy at night (from the insects, not people!).

The standout of this hotel is Suun Suun and the bar staff. They were so warm and welcoming. They made a huge effort to remember everyone's name and try to chat to them every day. The pool was great, a nice relaxing spot to escape the hottest parts of the day. There were children there from mid morning to mid afternoon ish which didnt bother us but something to note if you want more peace and quiet. Most if not all the bungalows had a veranda with a hammock so you have a private space to relax in too. Our bungalow was ok, AC didnt seem very powerful but it was enough to keep us cool along with the ceiling fan. Shower pressure was hit and miss, mostly miss. We didnt flag this with the hotel as it didnt really bother us but something to be aware of if you book. The staff were very helpful elsewhere and were amazingly quick to fix other issues around the property so I am sure it wouldnt be a persistent problem during your stay. Close to the beach which is great for a morning dip and to watch the sunset. Food was ok, we didnt include the breakfast. There are plently of options around for food, go and explore! Fun bar area with pool and darts and great music!

For the price, this place rocks! Although basic the bungalows were very clean. The grounds were very nice as well. The staff were the friendliest we encountered on our trip and got to know your name and went out of their way to interact with you and make sure you are happy.
Definitely recommend for a bungalow experience! Food in the restaurant was pretty good also!

Hot water service in M2 seems work intermittently. Extra pillows peovided, but they were to high and too hard. The wifi in the room, which was from the restaurant/pub was really weak and did not connect properly.

Beautiful homely resort right next to the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation is simple but beautifully set in well kept tropical gardens around a centre pool area, the food and drinks on offer are extensive and reasonably priced and very tasty. The staff are so friendly and treat you like family, they couldn’t do anymore for you especially Sunn Sunn and Jimmy who run the bars. We can’t recommend this place enough.

If your looking for a quiet adults retreat, look else where, nothing prepared us for the experience we encountered.
There is lots to love about this resort, large clean comfy rooms, shady gardens, friendly staff and a good restaurant, close to the beach.
Sadly this resort appears to have become very popular with young families, it is akin to staying in a loud kindergarden school, the pool is the worse area and is constantly mobed, at one stage I counted 14 kids under 5 and with parents that equates to about 20 people in a very small pool. The gardens resound all day and night with crying babies and kids having tantrums. The pool is full of kids toys and sadly they allow babies in the pool with no nappies. Lounger reserving has also become the norm. For this reason I wouldnt stay here again.If you have small kids you would probably love it.

Nearby there is a fruit smoothie stand (next to the noodle shop), do yourself a favor and get a fruit shake and a pancake and some fresh fruit as often as possible. The owners are terrific. The prices are so reasonable and the quality of everything they make is tremendous. YUM!

10/10. We stayed here for 6 nights and would highly reccomend. It’s quiet and an easy 1 min walk to the beach with lots of dining options. Theres a great pool with a pool bar, jimmy and sunsun are amazing. Art at the front desk was awesome as well. He organized our transportation and ferries for us. Junior at the restaurant bar was awesome too. Thanks for the good times. The room was exactly what we needed. Great air conditioning, & big bathroom. We loved the porch out front with the hammock to end our day. Housekeeping cleans the room each day and replenishes water and other amnesties in the room.

We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect for our needs. The apartment was clean, tidy and well situated, so very peaceful. The place was fairly busy but it didn’t feel crowded or loud. Staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and kind. We were on first name terms! The Pearl Bar was a great place to hang out; played pool, met lots of people, good old fashioned music. Close to beach and main street, so offered plenty of choice. Enough going on but not overwhelming. Highly recommend.

One of the last family run hotels in Ko Lanta so you get the best personalized service. We met the family and they were very welcoming. The drinks were tasty, the restaurant food was good and menu was large. Prices were fair. Poolside massage was perfect! They have tuk tuks outside of their hotel that you can hire to take you to the city center for the street food and souveneirs. No need to haggle as the price always seemed fair. A very small mini mart down the road, cash only. Beach is a 2 minute walk. Very very quiet. The AC was great, however, the shower water did not get very hot. But it was a refreshing temperature after being in the sun all day. Should I return to Koh Lanta, I will stay here!! Thank you Lanta Pearl family!

The best staff ever. Friendly, respectful and caring. Shout outs to Gun Sun and Jimmy and the cleaning ladies are amazing. Front office are great and helpful. Pool is nice and the beach is a short walk away. Walk up the street to the main road for restaurants and convenience store. Tuktuks are convenient and inexpensive. Go to the animal welfare centre and see the amazing work that they do.

Lanta Pearl is a real pearl!

Great large family room with exterior covered patio with hammock, 2 chairs and surrounding cement bench, fantastic!
Pros: Room: large, constantly clean, huge shower, bathroom door closes,(free soap, shampoo, shower gel, bath towels, pool towels, beach towels, bottled water all provided daily). Comfortable bed, pillows, bedding, strong aircon, decent size fridge, safe box in room. Food and drink: good food in resto, reasonable price. Good coffee bar, nice bar for drinks, pool table. Good pool side bar. Nice pool, gets crowded when the jellies show up😉. Also great smoothie shop next door, fantastic smoothies and fresh fruit crepes, and hamburger shop next to that has good burgers and beers for cheap. Location: great, lots of food, drink, transportation, beach choices. Lots of bird sounds in morning, and the cicadas are singing morning and night😁. Hotel provides mostly great tour service providers👍(see Cons). Also laundry 40B per kg.
Cons: only Con was when hotel provided driver and van for our hotel booked transportation from Lanta Pearl to Donsak Pier to take ferry to Ko Samui, the guy was surly and a complete ache-hole🙄.
Conclusion: Fantastic stay, would highly recommend Lanta Pearl in all facets. Great bang for buck👍.

Lovely bungalows set in semi tropical gardens - - located 5-minutes from the beautiful Long Beach with its quaint beach front bars and restaurants. 5-minutes in the opposite direction is a bustling town with many superb, inexpensive restaurants and bars. Daily maid service ensured the bungalows were spotlessly clean. The staff were very customer focused, nothing was too much trouble for them. Tours and scooter hire is available from the hotel. All great value together with experienced advice and suggestions. Good value too, we will return :-)

We loved our stay at Lanta Pearl Beach Resort. It’s on a quiet street but just a few minutes walk to Long Beach or to the main road. Lots of restaurants and a couple of mini marts nearby. Nice pool with pool bar, plus another bar with pool table and little library. Restaurant is excellent for both Thai and western food. Staff are amazing. You can book your tours and transport or rent a scooter on site. Room are well equipped, excellent air con and comfy beds. Daily room cleaning is top notch. We loved our stay so much that we cancelled our next hotel and extended our stay at Lanta Pearl by five days. Excellent value. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, safe place to stay on Koh Lanta.

We stayed several places in Thailand and this one is easily our favorite! The bungalows were super nice and modern-feeling. Comfy beds and nice amenities (pool, bar, restaurant on site).

Staff was extremely helpful and spoke very good English. They arranged a day excursion for us as well as a ferry pickup, and it was all very smooth. We also rented scooters from the hotel one day which was cheap and easy.

Location is awesome - two minutes from the awesome beach, and two minutes from the main street with restaurants and mini marts.

Great spot, some good restaurants nearby, 2 min walk to Long Beach. Reception very happy to help with tours/ transport bookings.
Lovely pool that the photos do not do justice, incl swim up bar.
(A few things could move this place up a gear: replace plastic loungers with better quality sun loungers, change out the tired fridge in the poolside bar for a newer one, get signs properly printed instead of laminated notices everywhere.)

Very nice, relatively small, clean resort almost on the beautiful Long Beach. Room and the bathroom were large, bed was good, comfortable terrace. Nice people, good food and bar, pool table for free, and scooter rental without deposit. Most guests were families from Europe.
It would be good to have some more closets for clothes, more loungers and sun shades by the pool as some people book these even while leaving for some time. In our bangalo there were some creatures living on the roof making noises at night, which took some time to get used to. :)

All the staff were friendly, I mean all the staff, even the room cleaners and pool staff. The room we had was clean, comfortable and quiet. Having nptjna ceiling fan and air conditioning was amazing as the rooms became hot after only an hour of morning sun. I was a bit worried being just 20m from the pool and only a few metres between each cabin, but the was no outside noise. The pool is lovely, but it needs some more trees to grow to give shade during the day. It was a family friendly resort while the pool has a swim up bar so best of both! Some of the other guests without children were 'smoking' around the pool, but didn't cause a nuisance really. The restaurant menu was nice as well. Overall we were all happy.

I didn't like it but maybe others will. For $100 Canadian a night I expect to have clean sheets, not torn or full of cigarette burns. Oh and unlimited toilet paper. It was literally a joke. If you're gonna rent bungalows like this charge $20 a night...seems more appropriate

Our 3 day stay at the resort was great. When we had booked the rooms there was no pool so upon arrival we were thrilled to see the beautiful pool with a swim up bar. We only had a short walk to the beach to watch the sunset each night. Overall, I would recommend this property. The staff were very friendly and very eager to help - except for one front desk woman. She was grumpy, impatient and raised her voice to the other staff which made it uncomfortable for us to watch.

A Long Beach Gem👍

Fantastic hotel just a short walk to the beach. Beautiful new pool. Secure and safe. A bit of day time construction noise as they make improvements. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Very welcoming staff. We would stay again:)

Perfect clean bungalow

Beautiful little bungalows set in the shade - perfect after being in the sun all day. Hammock on the porch is a nice touch which I used. Place is impeccably clean - would stay here again . Very close to beach and scooters available on site

Cute and clean bungalow

Lady at front desk was helpful with booking tour and transportation. Rooms are spacious and clean as is bathroom. Biggest I’ve come across in Thailand so far. Family owned business and run. Restaurant closed due to slow season but lots of choices very close by. Beach is a very short walk away - and is nice. The pearl is pricey compared to other places right next door - but it was cute and quaint.

We loved this place

First room we got was infested with small ants but after metionning it to lobby they switch ot right away. Someone before might have left food maybe ... other than that room was amazing and huge in a nice neighborhood .... a minute walk from beach with nice restaurent on beach. We passed 3 night there drinkink and watching the sun goes down. Amazing view .... beach was nice not all sand though ... a little small rocks and shells here an there but still was a beautiful beach ... would recommend

Quiet and conveniently located

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beach is close (about 100m) and the restaurant was good. All in all its an excellent place to stay if you want to relax or explore Koh Lanta.
