Perfect on the beach. Good food happy hour bar. Great pool. We stayed in the cheaper rooms up towards the main road still good but basic. We changed rooms as ours was not available but the upgraded room was not as nice no balcony no wardrobe. The cheapest was the better one. But the ones by the beach looked amazing. Koh lanta was my favourite place. And we really loved our time here. 7/11 opposite hotel and an fantastic pizza restaurant too

Stayed here in 2024 for our honeymoon and came back this year to finish our trip around SEA. Absolutely gorgeous and the best place to relax. We were going to do more island exploring but sitting by the sea and pool was heavenly. Wish we could have extended our stay but it was fully booked!

My husband and I stayed here during our last week of our Thailand vacation, and we can't complement it enough. Our room was nice, and looked just like the photos online. It was very comfortable.
The resort itself has was lovely, with a nice beach front. The restaurants served good food. The staff was very polite and professional. The beach front was clean, with plenty of options for seating or lounging.
We took advantage of the spa services, which we highly recommend.
Because we were at the end of our trip, we had no interest in doing anything but hang out at the resort. BUT, when we did venture out, we found it was perfect location, near a lot of good restaurants.

The chalet was beautiful! We stayed in a beach view chalet. The only downside was the jacuzzi tub on the deck did not work and that was one of the reasons we got the room. It was disappointing. The hotel has a private beach which is quite nice. The breakfast was good and the service was good.

We really enjoyed our time in Koh Lanta, and the Long Beach Chalet was incredible. While we did leave the resort for some activities, you could easily stay here and have everything you need. Amazing breakfast, massage services, pools, and location on the beach. Lym’s restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We really loved our stay here!

Very eco-and family-friendly beach resort with many amenities. Most of the guests have young children. Pristine, sandy beach with clear, calm water. Lots of comfortable chase lounges on the beach in the shade. Included breakfast has a wide and delicious assortment. Restaurant service is OK-very slow. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The resort is walking distance to tons of restaurants and easy to catch a ride anywhere.

A perfect stay during our honeymoon! We had a sea view villa for the first 3 nights and then extended our stay in the garden loft. The villa was absolutely perfect, complimentary soft drinks and snacks and right next to the beach with lots of loungers. Breakfast plentiful and cocktails good from Lym’s Bar (have a look at the happy hour menu, not advertised great but you’ll find it on the bar). Restaurants nearby and a 7/11 10 minute walk away. The perfect way to end our trip to Thailand. We didn’t want to leave!

Resort right on the water. Very nice property w solid staff, food and amenities. I was very disappointed to find the significant amount of pollution on the beach. That said, it wasn’t the fault of the resort and there was a very strong and concerted efforts to clean beach each morning after the nights tide left its deposit. Great breakfast spread and omelette station on the morning. Great menu w lots of options. Very safe and comfortable place to be where you can hear the waves everywhere on the property and see the waves from most places on property. Would happily return and recommend.

This is a really beautiful property. The seaside bungalow was very nice. Super comfy bed, big bathroom with all the toiletries you would need, and a few complimentary drinks in the fridge, tea, coffee. I appreciated the tv had Netflix access for the rainy days. It was nice they have loungers and beach towels for the guests. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I ordered room service several times and the food was good. My favorite was Lym’s burger. I booked transportation back to Ao Nang through them as well and it was a smooth process. Thank you

This hotel was amazing! I stayed with my husband, mother, and best friend. We booked 2 sea view villas, one for my husband and I and one for my mum and best friend. The villas themselves were outstanding - wonderful soft big beds and pillows, great bathroom with excellent water pressure, great air conditioning, mini fridge to store drinks in and nice patio seating right outside to enjoy the view of the oven. We got the breakfast included option and were treated to a wonderful buffet breakfast every morning which was a bonus. Short distance by taxi or tuk tuk to the walking street and other restaurants. My husband walked into town nearly everyday to visit some local food spots for lunch and enjoyed the walk.
During our stay we booked 2 excursions through the hotel - an all day snorkeling excursion and an elephant sanctuary experience. Both were amazing!! Would recommend the elephant sanctuary to absolutely everyone.
The beach was beautiful and the water was great. Barely anyone on the beach - very easy to find a chair or spread out a towel in the sun. It was jellyfish season, so there were a few washed up jellyfish on the sand but we were not afraid at all. My husband got lightly stung on his stomach but it went away within the day. If you are scared or have small children that would be scared maybe just be cautious. Night time there were a few sand flies - we all got bit quite a bit but we didn’t think to bring insect repellent so it was our fault. Still super nice!!

We enjoyed are stay at the property, but found certain areas untidy ,although there was signs stating that towels would be removed from sun beds that are not in use this never happened, so this limted the beds during the day. The food during the day was good, staff where polite.

Excellent overall, but a few weak suits

Recently spent four nights at Long Beach Chalet and, overall, completely understand why it gets such positive reviews. The beautiful beach front setting is idyllic (and a nice combination of sun and tree shade), the grounds in general invite complete relaxation, the room was beautiful, clean and well-appointed, and the food at the restaurant was delicious.

We fell short of a five-star review because:
1) Before arriving, we were under the impression that it was a full-service operation with regards to tours, etc., but we were basically handed a binder with outside options to look into ourselves. We could, and did, but it was a bit disappointing and surprising.
2) While the food was excellent, the service at Lym's was sub-par in terms of excessive wait times (even when not busy) and friendliness. Definitely not typical Thai warmth and hospitality from our experience. The tone seemed to have been set by the SV there at the time and was probably the least welcoming and attentive service we experienced in Thailand. Maybe we were just there at an off time, but we ended up eating off-premises a lot.
3) The pool, while nice, was full of kids the entire visit, making it an unattractive option for adults. Of course kids have as much right as anyone to be there, but some adult-only hours would go a long way.
4) The massage pavilion is right on top of too much activity and noise. Plenty of room elsewhere on the grounds for a more peaceful setting.

All in all though, great place!

We love this hotel and will be coming back! Next time we will definitely get one of the larger rooms or the beachside pavillions. The standard loft is nice and rustic but next time we fancy the luxury of the bigger deluxe ones.
All the staff were very lovely, you have the beach virtually
to yourself, theres normally no struggle for sunbeds and even multiple days I could have a Kabana to myself. We loved the experience here and didn't want to leave.
Only negative feedback, sometimes at Lym's the service could be pretty slow even waiting over an hour for food and sometimes room service would come and not take away the dirty towels or empty glasses etc but these are minor points compared to the experience of staying there! all the staff were great, maybe they just needed one or two more to get things moving quickly.

Its location is not to be beaten - rooms in the garden area are very nice but being on the beach side (we tried both) is quite something. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Escape Coffee Bar serves some amazing coffee, perfect start to the day after a morning stroll on the beach.

I could not say enough good things about this resort. We stayed in a garden view room. Excellent location near the beach, two very nice pools, excellent restaurant and bar. Breakfast was probably the best we have had in Thailand so far. Easy to rent a scooter from the front desk to travel around the island. Very cool setup with a loft style room with outside bathroom and shower (still very private though). Would recommend 1000x over!

Weird and tiny bungalow

We booked the standard bungalow for our honeymoon. It looked great online, but in reality, it's a random, standalone, one-room building near where the motorbikes are parked. It was loud since the guests have a lot of motorbikes. You cannot enjoy sitting on your porch or have privacy because the bungalow is in full view of one of the main roads. It's absolutely tiny. The door to the bathroom is super short, so my husband repeatedly hit his head. If you want a bungalow, spend less money on the budget bungalow. We paid more money to be sorely disappointed.

WE LOVE LONG BEACH CHALET! We stayed here on the first leg of our 24 day honeymoon and they set the standard for comfort, breakfast, service, and value for the remainder of our trip.

Pool...amazing! —> meticulously clean and quiet
Service...amazing! —> my husband got food poisoning one day and “V” at the breakfast spot gave him special instructions and food to make him better. <3
Breakfast...YUM! Buffet style with loads of fresh fruit.

Koh Lanta stoke our hearts and we would go back in a heartbeat, only staying at Long Beach Chalet.

The sound of the waves and the walk across the grass to the beach was amazing
The service was impeccable
The room was clean and there are 4 bottles of complimentary drinking water as well as a coke, Fanta and 2 small packets of potato chips daily. A plate of fruit gets dropped off every afternoon as well
Breakfast is plentiful and a vegetarian/vegan breakfast was made if requested
The staff are amazing, in the breakfast area, reception and elsewhere.

The restaurant does not have vegetarian options in the menu and it was hard to know if they understood what we meant by vegetarian food so we did not have dinner or lunch there.
It is an advantage to ride a scooter on Lanta as it helps you to see the island which would be very hard by foot

Overall an exceptional place to stay.

This was our first time visiting Koh Lanta and we loved it! We book a Garden Bungalow close to lobby of the hotel. At first we were wondering if we should have paid more and upgraded to a room closer to the beach but we were literally two minutes away from the beach and restaurant. On top of that, we loved driving around the island so the proximity of our room wasn't an issue. The staff was also extremely helpful in arranging transportation to our next destination. We are so happy with our time at the Long Beach Chalet. We'll be back soon!

Had a great stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially will help exploring the island. Owner regularly stopped for chat at breakfast.
Had a deluxe garden room which was really clean and comfortable, very quiet and had a lovely bamboo bed & hammock underneath to use if raining or too hot.
Breakfast was a short walk to the beach through the garden & was a fabulous location to relax & enjoy an great variety of foods including eggs cooked especially for you.
Had several meals in Lym’s bar where food was lovely & staff great fun.
Both pool & beach had sunbeds available. There was also massages available next to the beach at very reasonable prices.

Staff is very polite, close to beach, nice pools, restaurants and breakfast, but it was very noisy during the day due to electric saw cutting things behind the room frequently, toilet/shower is a separate room, outside of bedroom, with one step down and one step up, not convenient for getting up at night and even a little safety risk when you are sleepy.

We stayed 3 nights in a beach side villa which was simply set out and clean and comfortable. The food and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced for a hotel in Thailand and the staff all round were fantastic and easy to communicate with. The only downside was on the day of arrival the beach was littered with rubbish and plastic bottles which apparently the tides this time of year bring in. However the next day the staff had cleaned up the section of beach in front of the hotel.

I nick named the washroom the hell hole. Had to kill at least one bee a day cuse the screens are broken and the washrooms smell like feces. Pillows hurt my body woke up every day in pain, pictures do not accurately represent the hotel.

A great find, we will be back.

We are so glad that we found this place. It is on a lovely beach and the hotel provides bean bags to relax on which are very comfy. We stayed in a garden view chalet which was close to the second pool. The pool is smaller than the main pool but it was quiet and relaxing which suited us. It was a 5 minute walk down to the beach and breakfast restaurant which wasn't a problem. The breakfast selection was probably the best we had in Thailand. Lym's bar and restaurant, right on the beach, was lovely with very friendly staff. We only stayed 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer. We definitely will next time.

Recently stayed 6 nights in a Chalet. Probably the best location on Long Beach, great pool, heaps of hammocks and day beds. Chalet was fantastic and really clean. The staff were always very friendly, in particular the bar staff! Overall a great experience!!

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Beachfront villa is the way to go!

Wow what an amazing view from the beachfront villas. Situated a 10 min walk down the beach to a cluster of bars and restaurants this is perfect. This is not 5 star luxury but it is a great experience. Each day you get complimentary water, sprite, fruit and crisps. Housekeeping is excellent. Breakfast is average. Coffee is ok. Beach is beautiful. Don't hesitate just book!

Two resorts in one

I booked four rooms at the Long Beach Chalet for our group. I didn't realize that there was about 250m hike from the Garden Chalets to the our Sea View Villa. While the garden chalets were nicely appointed and very charming, a couple of them were close to the road which could be noisy at times. The Sea View Villa was much pricier but very roomy, and luxuriously appointed. The beds were the most comfortable that I've experienced in Thailand. Both pools were very nice. The beach is beautiful.

The front beach villa we stayed in is something unbelievable.WOW! I highly recommend this place.The staff is Great, especially the girls from the Reception: Fon, Suoy and all the others. Happy birthday Fon!

Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I were looking for an eco-friendly resort in Ko Lanta and spent 4 days here in July. We stayed at the beachfront villa with a spa bath, highly recommend it, you are a stones throw away from the beach. We loved the airy villa and the bathroom - which was open air, but meshed in to keep the bugs out. Curries at Lym's were delicious and the beachfront massages were just what we needed after a day exploring the island.

We stayed 2 different types of room, 1st night in a standard bungalow which is quite old and far from the beach and a toilet is outside the bedroom and not really clean much, not convenient in the night but if you don't mind there's a lovely pool in front of the room that's easy to jump in. 2nd night we moved to beach front room which has jacuzzi at the front where you can lay down and enjoy your own scenery or lay in bed in the con-room. The price was about twice from the first one but still acceptable and valuable in green season. Everything in the beachfront room was perfect, clean and very big bathroom. Breakfast was nice and the hotel staff were very nice.

Seafront bungalows are beautiful. Very spacious, clean and jacuzzi on porch. Nice amenities provided. Lots of restaurants in the area. Swimming pool is very nice.

Great hoteliers

We had a lovely stay here in our visit to Thailand recently. We stayed in a sea view delux villa and it was beautiful. The room had a big firm bed in the middle of the room with windows all along the front and right hand side. We also had a jacuzzi bath which was great fun with our 1 year old! The bathroom had a big shower and the maid came everyday and cleaned the room throughout. The air con was excellent which was great in the humid weather to cool us all down. There was a fridge in the room also with complementary water and soft drinks daily. We took a sterilising bag for our sons bottles and the staff at lymms where happy to microwave it for us. Lymms was a chilled out bar/restaurant where you could get drinks and food at a reasonable price. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Now that's what I call relaxation!

Our seaview villa was quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved falling asleep - and waking up - to the the sound of waves crashing on Long Beach.

The staff were courteous, efficient and helpful throughout our stay. We had many a meal at Lym's restaurant and it was a great place to have an early dinner/drinks and catch the sunset.

The breakfasts were great and we really appreciated the daily water and soft drink top up. We loved the daily towel art - seemed a shame to use the towels but needs must and all that!

The sea view infinity pool was awesome, as were the hammocks, beanbags and other places to park oneself around the property.

And last but not least - we loved the puppy we found on our doorstep one morning, no idea where he appeared from but he enjoyed some belly rubs and went on his merry way.

Fantastic Stay in Oceanfront Villa

We had a wonderful stay at the Longbeack Chalet. We stayed in an Oceanfront Villa and it was goergeous. Clean and comfortable with a wonderful view. Going to bed at night to the sound of waves was so peaceful. There are cartoonish statues throughout the landscape that somewhat take away from the beauty of the place, but for the price and quality of the room it's a small thing. The beachfront infinity pool was a wonderful way to relax and cool down each day. Breakfast was plentiful, with many choices for types of food. We also ate at Lym's for a few dinners and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

\"Your home away from home\" - it IS!!

We came to spend our honeymoon at LBC and couldn't have chosen any better place.
RÉSUMÉ: Check-in: fast and easy. Staff: always friendly, charming and helpful. They DO care about their guests. Location: on the main road, easy to find thanks to the huge \"LYM'S\" sign (especially at night, when lit :-)). Lym's Restaurant/Bar: located right on the beach, cozy atmosphere, large selection of delicious dishes. Bungalows: breathtaking! We'd booked a \"Beachfront Villa\", which was approx. 30m from the sea. Had our spacious terrace with our private (!) Jacuzzi. Enjoyed breathtaking sunsets, sitting on the traditional Thai cushions. The bungalows are far enough from each other to enjoy complete privacy. Design: splendid!! \"Less is more\" - not fully packed and yet has everything one needs. Classy combination of concrete, glass, heavy curtains and bamboo. Minibar: for free, including fresh fruit every day. Extra beach towels included. Spacious bathroom, with lovely details. Activities: don't miss Lanta Old Town and a speed boat ride to wonderful Ko Rok Island (snorkeling included). SURE to be back one day, haven't felt this much at \"home away from home\" before. Special thanks to the staff and Lynn, the Owner, who would even teach us how to professionally cut a pineapple... ;-)) Can only HIGHLY recommend, an absolute MUST-SEE. Wish we could've stayed longer, so make sure you book at least a week or, rather 10 days...! LOVED it!! THANK YOU, LONG BEACH CHALET, for a wonderful experience :-) !

We went from booking one night to staying four. We were even waiting for a cancellation to extend the same as other couples as we all liked it so much!
So peaceful! Beautiful beach, great restaurant and pool. Excellent staff!! And plenty of great restaurants walking distance from it

FABULOUS RESORT

Great location with excellent facilities and very nice buffet breakfast. The swimming pools were extremely clean with good lounge chairs. The hammocks and many huge bean bags at their beach were great and offered many shady locations. Definitely see a return to this most enjoyable resort in the near future.

Lovely beach/pool but overpriced.

Room was very small but nice and said Seaview but was not really. Pool was gorgeous and lovely people who run it. But the place is under construction and needs to be finished. Breakfast limited.

Great location, close to thebeach!

The bungalows were comfortable, there were 2 lovely swimming pools, hammocks and areas to relax. Breakfast could be better in terms of quality of food and service, but overall it was a very pleasant experience! Bring mosquito spray.

We loved this resort!
The lovely, clean and comfortable room, the two beautiful pools, private beach, restaurant and bar two steps from the ocean... The stuff were kind and made us feel at home. Spent here 5 nights and were very sorry to leave... Very recommended!

Huoneemme SeaviewVilla oli hyvin pelkistetty. Laskutilaa tavaroille oli ainoastaan kirjoituspöytä. Vaatteiden säilytykseen oli vaaterekki ja bambuhyllykkö. Ikävintä polviongelmaisten kannalta oli kuitenkin tallelokeron sijainti aivan lattianrajasta. - Huoneesta pukeutumistilaan/ pesutilat oli n. 5 cm korkuinen porras, johon varpaan kolautin, seurauksena 5 tikkiä ja viikon uima- ja rantakävelykielto.
