We had a wonderful stay at this charming mountain B&B tucked right into the hillside. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful – perfect if you're looking to get away from the noise and enjoy some fresh air and scenery.
Our check-in time was supposed to be 8pm, but we arrived late around 10pm and the host was incredibly accommodating and still welcomed us without any issues, which we really appreciated after a long journey.
The food was excellent – hearty, homemade, and clearly prepared with care. It was one of the highlights of the stay. The place itself was very clean, comfortable, and well looked after.
The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 🌄🏡

Sean was the most amazing host. He really made our stay one of the best on our 6-day roadtrip. He is a true host, from remembering our names and small details, to ensuring that the breakfast was delicious and locally sourced. We won't forget our stay here for a long time! If you stay in the room with twin beds, bear in mind that the toilet is quite loud, making it preferable not to flush in the night, sadly. I wouldn't hestitate to come back but to stay in another room.

There are lot of choices in and around Betwys but we felt this was definitely one of the best.

This is just our experience being kept outside the property and not being allowed to check in after paying for 2 nights with breakfast.
We got to the property after a long drive, rang the bell and told the person who opened the door that we are there to check in. At that point the owner didn't even said hi, he just said we cannot check in as we have a baby and rushed off to get his laptop to show us the policy.
When we asked what our options are he said you need to find different accommodation as we cannot stay there and that we need to speak with our travel agent if we want any refund. Didn't even offer us a seat and there was no willingness to help, keeping in ming my wife is pregnant and was holding our 1 year old, just closed the door and sent us on our way.
When I spoke with hotels.com they were really friendly and helpful and when they tried to ring the owner he refused to answer the phone as he had guests to check in (there were only 2 other guests that already checked in). When I said that I'm a guest who's trying to check-in and you're not helping he decided to answer the phone to the booking agent but was not helpful. I understand it was our fault for not checking the policy, but the attitude towards someone who paid for two nights at your property was really unacceptable. Once it was clear we couldn't stay there, we were disregarded and treated poorly. Of all this not only that he had no loss but also gained from us: no cleaning or breakfast to serve us.

What a fantastic place! Ease of parking, met by a friendly host that made us feel right at home and welcomed. Place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Had a great sleep with everything we needed in our room and breakfast the next morning was exceptional! House is a a short stroll into Betws y coed but we were given recommendation from Sean about where to eat and drink and all great places. We will be back!

Thank you very much Alison & Steve for a lovely stay, I run a Norwich Social Adventure group and we visit Wales several times each year. You have a great first-class B&B in a fantastic location. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed & clean en-suite bath/shower room. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice, the dinning area was nicely spaced out with great views of the gardens and wildlife. Stayed here for two nights and had an excellent stay. The owners are welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area giving advise of things to do etc if you need it. The rooms are clean with all the amenities you can need and more. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty to choose from with both hot & cold options and you could tell the use local products. The location is within walking distance of Betws-y-coed village and well placed for visiting zip world too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

We went to Snowdonia in August for a hiking holiday and loved our 3 nights at Glyntwrog House. Spotless rooms, comfy beds and delicious breakfasts! The owners are the perfect hosts, very helpful with advice but not overly attentive. They let you do your own thing. We enjoyed the location, close to town but far enough away that the B&B is very peaceful and quiet. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

I cannot reccomend this guest house highly enough, we had such a lovely stay! We had a very warm welcome from the owners/hosts Steve and Allison were so kind and generous, they offered us any assistance we needed as well as local tips and recommendations for dinner. The room was very cosy, comfortable and warm with tea and coffee supplied, the breakfast was also fantastic and plentiful. We wish we stayed longer.

Lovely breakfast room with personal touches such as: a fridge containing fresh milk and little jugs to take the milk to your room (instead of using the UHT pots), guests can also use the fridge to chill their own stuff, bottled tap water, complimentary sweets and nuts, extra tea and coffee bits available. Outside seating available with lovely views. Our room was good, small but cosy, the bedsheets were really soft and comfortable. Very clean. Everything you need in the room. Brilliant breakfast menu, with a wide variety of choices from a full cooked breakfast to porridge/kippers etc. Very tasty. I cannot fault this B&B, fully recommended.

The owners of this guesthouse really make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is very comfortable and is ideally placed for a short walk into Betws-y-Coed. It is a few minutes by car to Zip World Fforest. The breakfast is special prepared to order. You really can have a great full English breakfast in Wales! If we visit the area again I will certainly book this guesthouse.

The guest house is on a hillside (just above the main road), surrounded by much greenery. The room was immaculate and clean, lovely decor (as indeed was the entire guest house), with tea/coffee making facilities. Our room on the top floor may be considered small, but it didn't bother us as everything else was excellent. There is a fridge in the common lounge area for guests and fresh milk available. There's everything for everyone in the breakfast menu. Alison and Stephen are most welcoming and helpful (with tips on places to visit, etc.). Will come again.

Allison and Steve were great hosts, very attentive and made us feel welcomed. Our room was lovely and quiet, a bit smaller but that’s part of the charm of staying in an older building. The Inn was just a short walk to a lot of good food options and we were advised to walk down to the second bridge by Allison which we did with no regrets even in the rain. The village is quite lovely and Glyntwrog House was a cozy place to come back to after a rainy walk. Breakfast was quite good after a good night’s sleep on a comfortable bed.

A ray of sunshine on a rainy day
We were made very welcome by Alison, on arrival, for our overnight stay. We arrived in rain and departed in heavier rain but had an excellent stay. The room (3) was spacious and provided all our comforts with good ensuite facilities, strong wifi and comfortable bed. We met Steve when he delivered our excellent breakfast :-)

Excellent stay Alison and Steve are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is amazing 😊. Beds a little too soft for us but very comfortable spacious family room. Plenty of room for 3 adults. A short walk in to the main Betws-Y-Coed town area where there is an abundance of restaurants. All in all a lovely stay.
