The shower/tub faucet didn’t work otherwise was fine. Was annoyed that when I checked in there was a hassle and at first said I had to wait to check in at 3 pm even though I had paid the night before as well and finally got ironed out and I asked to add an additional night, which was available on Expedia where I booked, but I wanted to add through front desk because if I booked through Expedia it would be as a separate booking and didn’t want to worry about the issue of having to check out at 11 per my reservation I already had and then back in at 3 and he told me to check in again later and wouldn’t add it so I had to do it through Expedia and go through the headache of ensuring I would have the same room and wouldn’t be expected to check out etc. could have been more customer service oriented/helpful overall and in that regard.

I ended up not staying here because of poor inormation from the property as to getting there by public transit, and my travel rep whom I felt was trying to upsell me which I specifically asked not be done. I quickly canceled the whole thing and saved money with another better option. I had zero patience and tolerance for the nonsense.

The place just seemed undesirable as soon as I pulled in the parking lot, but I stayed with my reservation anyway got put in the back of the motel which I felt unsafe do not recommend this place

This is a Motel “2”, not even a Motel 6. Hair on both sides of the three pillows on the bed, hair in the sheets. Roaches in the shower, bathroom and on the vanity around my toiletries when I turned on the light. (Yes, I took photos.)
Cheaper Expedia rate assigned me to the “back side” against the interstate first. That room smelled so bad and was so noisy that I requested again for a room along the front. They obliged. The “clean” room is the one described above.
I selected this location because I actually needed an exterior door to unload cargo for the night. Been traveling for decades and take most things in stride. I kept my expectations low… and they were met. Left early morning.

The doora were flimsy and didnt lock right. The floors were dirty. Men hanging outside following my daughter and i, as one man's pants were open in the front showing his equipment. Watched us head to our room. Stairs were creaky. We were in the room maybe 5 minutes and left as we both felt unsafe. We ended up driving to our next hotel and checking in early. Extremely disappointed.

Run down overall. Really nice fellow checked us in late night. Requested nonsmoking but room had smoke detector disabled, ashtray and smelled like cigarettes. Commode was not bolted down. We had a dog with us which may be why we got a substandard room. Definitely will not use this chain again

Don’t stay here.

This was the dirtiest hotel that I have stayed in. If I didn’t check in late I would have found another hotel. The room smelled like a strip club, and the comforters and sheets were filthy dirty with burn holes all over them. I booked a king room but got 2 doubles. That were old and uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in your back. The bathroom was dirty with mildew and rust all over the shower. Don’t book here or you may end up in the ER.

The rooms reeked of cigarette smoke, there were cigarette burns in the comforters, there was mold in the bathroom, there were bugs inside and an exterminator truck was parked outside.

Nice motel for a quick budget friendly stop

This motel fit our needs. It was clean and spacious, beds weren’t the greatest but we didn’t expect fantastic for a budget motel. We were pleased!

Beware... check other hotels 1st!

Young lady at the front desk was arguing with apparently her boyfriend when we arrived. Rooms were supposed to be non smoking, Duvet covers had burn holes in them. Very thin blanket and only 2 pillows. Wouldn’t give any extra for 2 adults. Towels were very thin and dirty looking. Hot water doesn’t last very long, shower/sink water temps switch from very hot to freezing cold while your using them. Cleaning staff speaks very little English and not very thorough with cleaning rooms. Liking latch was very loose in Room 240. Looked like door was kicked in at some point. Guests hanging around parking lot and stairwells. Very unsettling. Lots of upgrades need to be done here.

We arrived at 9 tired and ready to go to bed. The internet was down so she said she couldn’t give us a room until it came back up. We waited in the car for an hour and a half with 2 crying kids until my boyfriend spoke with her and she let us borrow the master key to get in our room we had already paid for. She could have given us the key from the beginning considering we had a reservation and 2 kids ready for bed. There were also roaches in the bathtub and blood stains all over the room.

Absolutely horrible experience as I came home COVERED with bed bug bites HEAD TO TOE from room 146 in Florence Kentucky. Called the Motel to inform them but they seemed to not care. Called Motel 6 Headquarters and filed a complaint.

Upon checking in the associate changed our room even though we paid in advance online and said it was cause we got our room for a discount...$61 a night is not a discount, can’t imagine paying any more for such a dump! The bathroom had black mold on the walls along the shower, the tv screen was broken but still worked. The front door had to pushed with all my body weight just to open after the key activated. No shampoo or conditioner was provided, thankfully I brought some. Our room key “expired” for some reason the second night so we had to check back in again at the front office to “renew” it. Wouldn’t have happened if she gave us the correct room, and key for the appropriate amount of days I paid for. And the staff made a rude comment asking my husband is he was smoking weed when he went to ask about the room key issue. Terrible place and service, never going to a Motel 6 ever again.

I killed three cockroaches during a 1 night stay. There was no hot water for a shower - though the sink did have hot water. Told reception and he shrugged it off - no offer for refund or credit. I have stated at other Motel 6s and none of them were this terrible.

I strongly advise against staying here. There are other cheap hotels in the area - I have to admit I was limited as I was seeking a smoking allowed room.

Check in clerk was courteous. I requested non-smking room. While There were no ashtrays, to a non-smoker, it was obvious that it has been a smoking room. That odor is difficult to get rid of. Room was clean.

Hotel staff was pleasant but i was very displeased with condition of the room, the floors were filthy, the sheets didnt look as if they had been replaced from last customer and the room smelled disgusting with the smell of smoke, and there was cockroaches coming out of the wall behind the toilet, killed about 10 of them, i will not be using Motel 6 in Florence, KY ever again!

THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL and it said there is. I had kids ready to go swimming. It was disappointing. False advertising! Room was clean. Even though non-smoking it smelled a little like a smoking. Tub handle not the smoothest to get the water on. Ladies at front desk were very friendly though. But the whole NO POOL thing I did not appreciate.

The room was supposed to be non smoking, but not sure previous guests paid attention to that. Black stain on bathroom wall. No drain plug to fill bathtub to wash my young kids. Front desk had nothing for that except to suggest I plug it with a rag. Just weird.

Bad choice!!!

I will never book this motel again, horrible idea. First of all we couldn’t lock our door from the inside, the ball for the security bar was broken. The add said coffee and tea in the common area but there wasn’t any common areas. There wasn’t any free breakfast, they had room service but nothing for breakfast. Plus other customers below us had dogs and they barked most of the night and some had even started fighting in the parking lot. The people were loud early in the morning. Not happy with the money I wasted here!!!

The hotel is old. It looks like they try to update it annd is ok in some areas. I know it is cheap, but there were no tissues oe ext4a tpilet paper. Looks lile they try to maintain it, but half done! Example...paint job was poor, messy and the shower rod wss falling off and looked like the job to put back on was poor. I did like that there was floori g and no carpet and the mattress was very comfy!!

Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible either. The room was clean, and had been remodeled recently; which was done tastefully and in a way that helped the room feel much cleaner- carpeting replaced with faux hardwood flooring. The staff was polite and friendly. Perfect hotel if you need a clean, safe, cheap place to sleep for a day/night stay.
