This Red Roof Inn is completely run-down and on its last legs. I encountered big house roaches crawling around, feces at the top of the stairs—showing clear signs of repeated occurrences—that I unfortunately stepped in. The blankets and sheets were riddled with burn holes throughout, while all linens (towels, washcloths included) were stained a disgusting urine-yellow shade. The TV remote didn't work at all. It was genuinely horrible, but due to booking through a third party, I had no choice but to stay or get nothing. Unless you're desperate, do not support this business—avoid at all costs! I have photos of every issue.

We checked in and checked out within 10 minutes. We could not stay here with our family. The door did not close properly, the room had holes in the walls in multiple places, the bathroom has black dirt around the tub and the floors. There was also green stuff on the rise of the roll of toilet paper. The headboard had handprints on it and there were stains on the pillow cases. The hotel unfortunately decided they would not honor a refund so I would caution anyone who considers booking here on their travels. We are pretty tolerant on our travels and have never walked into a room like this.

Carpet so dirty its sticky. Stains on everything. Ac/heat super loud. Bed sheets stained. Mirrors so dirty they look cloudy. Drains all back up. Hallways not cleaned or kept up. The men in office RUDE!!! Disrespectful. Asked for no housekeeping (its obvious they dont clean anyway) they still came in and took MY belongings. Things I used for work so real cool of them. Plan on spending a while cleanin your room to be comfortable. I spent 3 hours scrubbing and it still didnt feel clean. Place run down and needs shut down. The 1st room they tried to put me in the window was completely cracked from top to bottom and side to side. Crazy it was still in 1 piece and not fallen out. Noticed a few rooms look like that too.

the room was highly unsanitary and dirty especially in the shower.. Management gave someone my room key and they entered my room while is was nude.. which made me feel humiliated and embarrassed. the door was missing safety lock features that gave cause for alarm and placed me in a potential unalive engagement. Certain electrical outlets were inoperable which made it extremely difficult to use my social media equipment which was scaled down so there wouldn't be a strain on one wall outlet.. the evening staff blamed it on computer error but in my professional opinion they were extremely carless because the hotel parking lot appeared to be empty. and i physically saw a patron enter into room 314 while i entered into room 315

Scary parking lot full of sketchy people, room was not clean- dusty, mold, cobwebs, inside of bathroom door had streaks of bodily fluids. Rundown, most things falling apart. Only gave us a third of a roll of toilet paper. Inside security lock didn’t work and ultimately wasn’t able to sleep much so after a few hours of trying just got back on the road.

Upon arrival I was made to stand outside to book a room.
Once I arrived in the room I was IMMEDIATELY disgusted by its condition. Carpets, sheets, pillows, bathroom, towels. The center of the bed was sunken in, the sheets were beyond dingy, it smelled of of mold/mildew. The lighting was so poor. Every light fixture covered in dust and cobwebs, some of which didn't even work.
I spent 20 minutes in the room before I had leave and find another place stay.
I full refund would be more than appreciated. Pictures can be provided if necessary

Checked in and checked right back out. The smell of smoke was so powerful and there was no way to avoid it. The window was broken and they “fixed it” with packing tape. The door to the bathroom had holes where people had smashed their fists through it multiple times. You could see where blood stains had been on the sheets and comforter. It was just awful all around. Don’t stay here if you value cleanliness and your safety.

Well the pillows on the bed were terrible, the toilet paper was horrible, the room wall needed some tlc, was told that there was a free continental breakfast and that was not the case. No coffee in the room but had a coffee maker. Some of the other tenants car alarms went off at least 5-6 times. Will not ever go back to a red roof inn!

The room was filthy and smelled so bad. The shower was so nasty we didn’t even use it. The TV had no signal and our bedding was literally dirt covered and had smoke burns. We slept on top of blankets we brought. Checkout was at 11 we left as soon as we woke up. We were there for a football game from Kentucky and I was shocked at the condition of our room. The pictures shown are not what you get. Horrible, not just a little dirty but gross. Toilet paper floating in the toilet when we checked in with urine in a room we had to wait until 3 to check in so it could be cleaned? Nothing was clean. Didn’t expect much but clean would have been enough. It was gross. I showered as soon as I got home. The bedding was unbelievable. Glad I only slept a few hours after the game and then left. The worse I have seen.

And if you wanted a “clean room” that supposedly doesn’t smell it costed and additional 15/night

Be honest, your are looking at this hotel bc of the price… it’s not worth it! Go anywhere else.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn Cincinnati Airport-Florence/ Erlanger and there was what looked like blood on the mattress cover, and what looked like male \"fluids\" all over the bed skirts, the bed bug protector was ripped on one bed and a weird stain the mattress. An older African American man was trying to get my 13 year old daughter to go smoke marjuana with him! Our room when we got back from getting food at 12 am we had an odor cologne like a man had been in there! The odor of cologne was very very strong! To verify we had no men in group at all! We left at 2 am and took the risk of a 3 and a half hour drive home because we were more scared of the hotel than driving that tired back up north to Ohio.

From the moment I pulled in and I knew it was going to be a horrible experience. The first room they gave us smelt so strong of mold/mildew that I had to ask for a new room. The second room was also horribly smelling but not as strong as the first. Would NEVER stay again and would not recommend. I travel for work every month, and I can honestly say this was the worst experience of my life. The room was absolutely disgusting — the sheets were dirty when we arrived, and the towels were folded but looked brown instead of white. The entire room was filthy and smelled awful.

We spoke with the manager to request a room change, but the new room was even worse, so we returned the key and didn’t stay the night. The manager showed no concern for our complaints and simply stated that it was non-refundable.

This was completely disrespectful. If you’re considering this place, think twice — you’ll waste your money and have a terrible experience.

well, let’s just start by saying we booked this property more than 24 hours in advance using Expedia. Late flight at about 12:30 AM as I am attempting to check in the man in front of me at the counter, asks for new sheets and let them know that his room is dirty and there is pubic hair and candy over the current sheets that were laid out in the room. Not a very good start after he leaves there is a sign at the counter, saying that they will have no room cleaning service over the entire weekend due to staffing. OK, not a problem. I need this as a place to crash for one night while I’m attempting to check in they ask me if I actually need the room that I booked, which was a two queen bedroom. I replied yes because I have four people myself, my husband and two elementary school aged children. They then proceed to let me know that they have overbooked themselves and they can give me a king room. I again let them know. I have four people so that does not work. I need a sleeping accommodations as it is now almost 1 o’clock in the morning for four people. I asked if they would be able to give me two king rooms at the same price seeing as this was an issue with them and if my husband and I each had to split up and take one child in the room, at least that would be doable. They were not able to accommodate this. Ultimately it was on me to contact Expedia to attempt to get my money back for their mess up. Just oh sorry. No help finding another place to stay. Stranded with 2 small kids.

Seen roaches on the ground during checkout. It was a night checkout so granted they were outside the building, but they were still along the walls. The room itself seemed OK but the bed was definitely lumpy and springy. My first room had no air conditioner. Air conditioner just did not work or turn on. The staff was great to switch me rooms. However, the remote for the TV barely worked and made it impossible to actually change channels. Great hotel for the value if you’re just looking for something Quick and cheap. Embarrassing if you plan to bring a date or a family event. Three stars.

It's a total hole!!! By far one of the worst places that I've ever stayed at. You know those seedy hotels in movies where there's lots of shady stuff going on, that's the feel of this place. Not to mention the host of characters to go along with it. The grounds are in shambles with broken, deteriorating concrete, rusted out stairs, littered with cigarette butts, EVERYWHERE! Saw several rooms with broken front windows that were shipping taped back together. And the help, fuggetta about it! The room was so dirty that my dogs paws turned black, from the floors! Everything is old and worn out. We tried to back oput of our 5-day stay once we saw the place but unfortunately could not. We ended up leaving a day early as we couldn't take it anymore! Hotels.com should be ashamed to even list this place!

When i Checked in, I could not understand the guy who checked me in. I get up to the room and look at the bed, the bed spread was dirty, looked like it had never been washed. I walk into the bathroom, raised the toliet seat up and someone left toliet paper in the toliet without flushing. I go to check out because I did not like the room. Concrete outside the elevator on the 2nd floor was broken, making it difficult for wheeled suitcases and my accessibility needs.
There was food on the headboard of my bed. The bathroom wall and floor behind the door had not been cleaned in a long time- someone’s “personal hairs” were laying on the floor.
Staff was friendly for the little contact we had with them at check in. Admittedly, I forgot to check out when I left for the airport at 3am. When I called later that morning, around 5am, and told them I had forgotten and checked out but left the keys in the room they were understanding and got it taken care of.
Overall, I needed a place near the airport to crash for an early flight. The price was still more than what the room was worth and I wouldn’t recommend it.
