The pictures are bright and welcoming but they do not match the actual property. It was also very loud, I could hear people in the hotel around me. We was woken up several times throughout the night. The airconditioner/heater smelled like someone had peed in it. And as we were packing up to leave we found cigarette hole in the sheets.

Horrible room, was told the room was checked for cleanliness before I arrived. That was clearly a lie. Once inside the stench of cigarette smoke was all I could smell. Looking at bedding all that I saw was stains and under the covers literal dirt. Moving onto the bathroom the tub was stained as if it had never been cleaned before, and there were ROACHES. Literal roaches in the room. Was promised a refund and not even sure I’ll get that .

When we arrived we were given a key to What was supposed to be Our room. Once we opened the door we quickly realized their were already people in that room. It went down hill from there. Bed was broken down and almost falling to the floor shower ran all night a small stream that couldn’t be turned off. The doorknob on the bathroom door was coming away from the door it was so loose that it was practically falling off. This stay was a disaster. And we’ve never received the discount / refund that we were promised by either the property or Expedia. Truly disappointing.

It appears that this hotel is being renovated but still needs lots of. The free breakfast is continental breakfast. The towels had stains on them. The cigarette smell lingers from the hallway and seeps into the room. The sink did not drain properly. The shower curtain pole was not screwed in. Lastly, police were there on my first night for a drunk man and on the last night, a couple was arguing in their room so loud that all heard it through the doors. The argument continued into the hallway, causing the dogs in rooms to bark. Did I mention we killed a roach in the room. I would not recommend.

The staff member we saw was great, he is their only redeeming feature. Place stank of smoke. First room had a broken bed that couldn’t be sat on. They swapped into another, but it was surrounded by people who clearly had substance and or mental health issues. They were out in the hall calling us names because they had overheard my safe saying she felt unsafe. We were there with two children- it was not safe so we left. We were promised a refund, but I am still waiting for that. Went to another hotel down the road which was excellent. It a safe option for families or women.

the pictures online were beautiful, and the outside pics looked really nice. I stopped by, and parked outside before booking, since it was pretty decent looking i did confirm the booking. However, I was in for a surprise!!! oh boy. the carpet in the corridor is filthy, the inside carpet was also pretty dirty. Room was probably not cleaned at all, bathroom sink was for sure not cleaned, and garbage can still had the previous guest's
Room smelled musty and even though they have a non smoking policy, it definitely smelled like cigarette smoke in there. Stay away! It is sooo dirty that no amount of money would feel like you get what you paid for, any amount would seem too much for what you get.

They told me I needed to go through Expedia for the refund, however, Expedia has told me that they cannot get ahold of the hotel and can’t provide a refund. Avoid at any cost!

Then got to property and could barely get in the door with wheelchair! The property wasnt bad from the outside. Except all the house cleaners and people that seemed to be living there asking me for a cigarette. The stairs were sticky that lead up to the rooms. The carpet in the hall was heavily stained and the place smelled like Marijuana being smoked inside. Got to the room and the room wasnt bad except the musty smell. Usually the air being turned on helps that. Nope not this one. It still stunk. One of the bed comforters had a big brown stain on it. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but only stayed 2 cause i couldnt handle the smell anymore. My clothes smelled like that. Not real happy.

This is one of the dirtiest places. Furniture in rooms broken, carpets don’t look like they’ve been cleaned in decades. The smell!! Oh lord the smell is still stuck in my nose. Is this a halfway house for parolees? Every person coming and going looked sketchy and had an ankle monitor on. Just the most disturbing place I’ve ever had the misfortune of entering. Did not feel safe or clean there at all.

Our stay at this property was very unpleasant. As soon and we walked into our room it smelled of smoke and musty basement. There was mold in the bathroom. In between the window and the ac unit and very clearly inside one of the frames art pieces on the wall. The bathtub also backed up when we showed. Rust stains on the towels.
We were basically just showering and sleeping so we stuck it out instead of trying to find different lodging after traveling all day. The hotel registration desk staff were both friendly.

This property is best suited for late check-in, early check-out. I could not find anything on Orbitz about the time of the continental breakfast, but my experience with this type of property is always it opens at 6:00AM. The information card in the room said it opened at 6:00AM. I stood there waiting at 6:00AM, but the desk person informed me it opened at 7:00AM. Not convenient for a person traveling. There is only one entrance door to the property, and apparently it is the gathering spot for smokers. I had to navigate several smokers and a huge cloud of smoke to enter. Not very appealing, at all. Basically, this is a \"get what you pay for\" property.

The first room looked like they just made the bed before I got there just to have a room for me. So when I pulled the sheets back the first bed had these dark stains in the sheet and the second bed had a giant urine stain. When they gave me a new room that room smelled like cat piss. Everything was moldy and mildewy and the AC was on the lowest temp and blowing warm air. When I went for a shower the paint was molding and chipping off and roaches were crawling on the floor

They canceled my reservation like 2-3 days before it was time for me stay. And since the rooms on here are non refundable, I was stuck scrambling at the last minute to find somewhere to stay. And the worst part is, they made it sound like the whole hotel was shut down, but I drove past the building and there were several dozen cars in the lot, sure looked like they were open. I think they canceled on me because there was a jazz festival in town and they could have jacked up their prices, but I got my room for so cheap. They are obviously still getting my money, and they were able to rent my room out at a higher rate

My husband and I couldn't check-in and were left out on the street in the middle of the night. Even though we called twice to warn them about our flight delay. They said \"no problem, we'll wait for you\". When we arrived the reception area was empty, not a soul around. We called, left voice mails - crickets. My daughter went to set on the bed and it flipped her on the floor. Neither of the 2 beds were on the frame. The one frame was completely broken. They guy came in to \"fix\" the bed because there werent any rooms with double beds left. By fixing it i mean rigged it to work but 12\" of the frame was hanging out at the end and was a trip hazard. When we woke up the bed flipped off the frame again and the frame scraped my ankle. Horrible experience overall

Grounds are run down, grass unkept and completely loaded with dog poop. Door key card/access barely works, corridors filthy stained carpet. Room fair, only had to kill one cockroach, tub that barely drains, feels like taking a bath instead of a shower. The breakfast was a joke with Fruitloops and raisin bran cereal, gallon jugs of milk to pour out of, quacker oatmeal, bread for toast, chocolate hostess donettes. and walmart yogurt! Very noisey with dogs barking and kids yelling. Saw a dude hauled off in handcuffs. Would recommend looking elsewhere!

Absolutely Disappointed – Never Again

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. We stayed at SureStay by Best Western in Florence, KY, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had. From the moment we walked in, the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke—even though it’s supposed to be a smoke-free hotel.

We reserved two rooms, and both were in terrible shape. One of the rooms had a door that wouldn’t even latch properly, leaving us concerned about safety. The beds had cigarette burns in the bedding, the towels were stained and limited to just two per room, and there were only two pillows provided—hardly enough for even basic comfort. The bathtub was visibly dirty, and the nightstand looked like it had been ripped off the wall and screwed back in without care—it was so crooked nothing would stay on it.

To make matters worse, we heard dogs barking inside the hotel all night long. The parking lot was poorly lit—if lit at all—which only added to the uneasy atmosphere. We were in town for a funeral and just needed a clean, safe place to sleep. Instead, I was embarrassed to think my clothes might smell like that hotel when I showed up to pay my respects.

It was such a dismal experience that, had I been traveling alone, I would have rather slept in my car. Unfortunately, we had too many people with us to make that an option.

I will never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

After explaining and getting on phone with Expedia,that took 2 hours,then my refund was supposed to be next morning,instead of right then,per hotel and Expedia now I'm being told theirs nothing Expedia can do. The hotel was terrible. The carpets was shredding up in the room, the hallways were disgusting, the ceiling was falling down in the room, the ac unit was falling off the wall in the room. The noise and disturbances there were constant. Police were there 3 different times for 3 different disturbances . One during the day, once at midnight and once at 5am. DO NOT STAY here. This place is nasty smells of marijuana and smoke. Stairwells are dark and dirty. Rooms are in need of repair shower head was coming out of the wall, curtain rod was loose on both ends barely hanging on. Shower/tub floor was dirty looking same with the toilet bowl. Pulled back covers on bed and top sheet had a brown smudge/stain on it. Took it off and found the housekeeper in the hallway and asked for a new one. She brought me one that was warm right out of the dryer and when I went to put on the bed it had a blood stain on it and holes. The two trash cans outside the entrance were overflowing and people started stacking trash right inside the doors. I have multiple pictures I wish I could post. There is another review here I see that says the people in the parking lot and hallways are sketchy. So so true!! Also we were woke at 1:30 am to a blood curdling scream from a small child right outside our door that was silenced as quick as it happened. We got up and left at 5:30 am and when leaving I noticed signs on the doors and some walls that said “notice the signs of human trafficking” then I felt sick to my stomach about the scream we heard a few hours before. Stay away from here hopefully this business doesn’t last long.

Overall, the hotel is in an ideal location for a wedding with family. The room had a lot of damage; bathroom door you could see a hole where someone punched it in.
A wall mirror was missing, multiple drill marks around the new mirror in the bathroom so it looks like a prior guest had done a great deal of damage to the room and they tried to fix it as best they could. The bed was awesome along with the refrigerator and microwave - both were essential and fantastic. Staff was very friendly and guests were as well.

We had no wash cloths or hand towels, dogs barking all night, carpet in hall dirty, pillows on bed were hard need to be replace
Was trying to have a peaceful night it was a nightmare. I will never stay here again

The room was clean and in really good shape. You definitely get a quality room for the vslur price. My kids also liked the hotel. The breakfast was alright too. Food was average but well stocked. I would stay there again.

They city was not bad but the hotel was not clean. Had to kill a critter, blankets had holes and burn marks, stained towels had other people's hair...
