The room appeared clean, but I was disappointed in the upkeep of the room. The vinyl flooring in the room had multiple small junks missing in at least 2 spots (which I noticed after walking in my bare feet), numerous pieces of tile flooring in the bathroom was cracked & the caulking along the base if the tub was bad workmanship. The beds were so-so on the comfort scale. The window covering let a lot of light in from the parking lot. The people in the room above us made a lot of noise & kept my husband awake until about 1:30am. I use a sound machine so I turned it up & put it between us which covered the noise enough for him to, then, fall asleep. My husband said he would not stay there again.

I am a disabled veteran with mobility issues, as I pulled into the lot there was one handicap spot left that I thought I would take but as I pulled around the row of cars the night shift desk clerk parked there before I got there. I found another spot much farther away, as I walked towards the door I noticed the the car that parked in the handicap spot did not have a placard or handicap plate and the 20 something year old jumped out of the car and ran and I do mean ran into the building. I went inside and asked the desk clerk that was there if the you kid worked there and ha to that he did indeed, that is when the kid came out an was limping as if his leg had just been reattached. My complaints fell on deaf ears and after the first night there I understood why, most of the staff lived on site. I cannot stay away loud enough.

How's it sound?

The property being pet-friendly, along with the low $50 incidental deposit, was a plus and made traveling with our large dogs easier. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated.

However, the overall condition of the property fell well short of expectations. Cleanliness was not up to standard—we encountered an unpleasant odor in the room and found leftover items such as lids from old containers, hairs on the bed, etc. from previous guests, which is unacceptable. The room itself also was in clear need of renovation, general upkeep and in need of a good deep cleaning.

Additionally, for a pet-friendly property, the lack of convenient or designated areas for dogs to use the restroom was a slight oversight and made our stay a bit difficult as we were working to avoid other pets, general guests and significant nearby traffic.

We ultimately chose to check out a night early due to these issues, and no accommodations or consideration for a refund were offered for the night we chose to not stay. There were also problems at check-in with our Expedia reservation and pay-at-property arrangement that were never resolved, resulting in us being charged significantly more than expected and far more than the experience warranted.

Overall, while the staff was kind and the pet policy is a positive, the property needs serious improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer provided services. Based on our experience, it’s difficult to recommend staying

Nice place to stay for a night. Everything was clean, a little dated bathroom but it was fine for the night. A few things I didn't care for were the bed was a pretty hard for my liking and the pillows were very flat, also they only had one shower towel, one hand towel and washrag in the room which I thought was super weird. I drove 5 hours after working all day and didn't arrive until 1am, by that time I just wanted to take a shower and laydown on a soft comfy bed. The guys at the front desk were very nice at check in and check out. My only other issue was the gap between the door. It made it so I could hear everything going on in the hallway, so it was a little loud.

The room wasn’t quite ready. The refrigerator was open with a towel in it. The shower wasn’t turned off completely and had water still on walls. We notified the front desk and he came to check everything. Other than that the bed was comfortable and room was quiet.

Unpleasant smell in the lobby upon arrival (trash was being collected, but may not have been reason for smell). Very uncomfortable bed with completely worn-out mattress that had a huge dent in the middle, and it felt like you were sleeping on a slope sliding down. Lots of loud street noise from the highway, which will bother light sleepers.

The motel was extremely clean! Staff is very helpful, too. Mostly well taken care of motel. But...the bed was well past it's prime. Extremely uncomfortable! I felt like I slept on a billiard table. Breakfast? The guy said they only serve coffee & tea; I went through the lobby at 0600, NOTHING! Don't expect to eat at Burger King, not open.

It was around the corner from a Travel Centers of America site that I work for in OH. Went there and Skyline Chili because I didn't like the prices of food offered from Room Service, too high for my budget after they stiffed me for a $50 Security Deposit not disclosed on Expedia App. I had just pulled into the Motel 6 parking lot two munutes after check in time if 3pm and noticed they had tried to pull the room rental charge from my account without me even being inside the door! I did get the fee back two days later, but I had to drive home 3 hours arriving home at 12:30 am because I had no other financial source to allow me to stay the second day as originally planned. Also, I had insect visitors before even going to sleep for the night. The clerk on duty after 10pm did not know when the motel had been sprayed for pests. I told him later to tell the manager that needed done. It was clean, but the bed was not neatly made. Also, the entrance to the place was not very smooth to enter on, very bumpy. I wont stay there again. The day clerk, Amanda treated me nice even after I was angry about the undisclosed fee prior to my booking of the room. Very noisy place, too. People slamming their doors and someone had a loud barking dog, maybe above me and it would run back and forth. It was convenient to other places like restuarants and fueling stations. Just couldn't afford any other motel, it was $54 per night. The bed was kinda hard, but I managed to sleep.

Pet friendly! Room was comfortable and they accommodated us on short notice for an early check in. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed upon arrival. The motel is surrounded by places to eat and I noticed you can order room service. If you are going to see the Ark Encounter and don't mind a little drive or you're just in the area I highly recommend this motel.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and explained everything. Most importantly though she didn't announce my room number. There were other people in the lobby when I was checking in, and since I was traveling alone it gave me peace of mind. The room and bathroom were very clean and the ac worked well. The bed was a bit on hard side but it was only for one night so it wasnt a huge deal.

Overall the public spaces were clean. The hallway leading to our ground floor room had a dirty broom head & dirt laying outside a room.
Our TV & phone didnt work without staff help.
There were no tissues at all available from housekeeping.
The phone & tv remote were reallly grimey & there were cobwebs along ceiling. Tub & sink were ok. But there was unpleasant grime on the tile behind the bathroom door.
We just needed a one night stay to sleep & move on. Beds were clean.
Cost of one night stay was very low. You get what you pay for.

We were very disappointed in the hotel given the rating on Hotels.com. The hotel is in need of renovations and the furniture in the room was very worn. While the hotel is supposedly pet friendly, they tell you at check-in that a pet can never be left alone in the room. That meant we would have had to take our cat with us to dinner. Won't stay here again.

Room was dirty, tub was full of water upon arrival. We were moved to another room where the toilet was broken and constantly running. We pulled the lid off the back of the toilet to \"fix the chain\" and the entire back of the toilet(on the drywall) was covered in black mold. No one was on site to make any repairs, it was middle of the day. We recieved a refund and went somehwere else. Oh and the furniture was shredded in both rooms.

The building has updates but still seems to be in disrepair. The room wasn’t clean. There were only two pillows and they were flat. The door to the room didn’t open correctly. There were two chairs in the room that were in terrible shape and the woman who checked us in wasn’t really friendly. The buttons on the room AC were broken. It was not a horrible place but not really great.
