The rooms were just so wet and sticky feeling … they didn’t feel clean , area was not very safe feeling and I’m a local to DR , beach is across the street which is busy and the pool seemed nice but we were so disappointed we dint get in. Staff was efficient and friendly. No hot water . I personally wouldn’t stay again

Stayed here for five nights and I can honestly say I definitely got my money’s worth! Check in was easy with no complications at all. The front desk staff speak both English and Spanish. The location is incredibly convenient everything is walkable in this town. The restaurants and beach is right across the street. The property has a large pool, a second pool, and a convenient bar right by the pool. Overall, it definitely met my expectations, and the room looked exactly like the pictures.

I also felt very safe thanks to the gated entrance and 24 hour security. Whether you’re staying for just one night or more than five, this is a great hotel and I would definitely recommend it!

I didn’t have hot water to shower which was a big bummer. I told it to the staff but all they could say was- yes it’s not easy. Which was disappointing. There is only hot water if you shower before 5pm. Also the doorman in the entrance of the property was super rude and made me feel really uncomfortable multiple times . I’m solo traveling and those kind of thing really ruins my feeling. He was Haitian and he talked to me rude and loud voice. Got upset every time I knocked on the door to enter. Besides him- the rest of the staff were amazing and professionals.

Horrible beds; rock hard. No hot water. System runs on solar power, no sun= no hot water. Several Long term travellers reported no hot water in weeks! Room full of mosquitoes upon check in. Asked for a different studio/kitchen room, lied about availability and offered a lower valued room instead for same higher price. Saw on internet studio/kitchen rooms were available.
Decided to check out early, no refund of course, as the beds were so bad I suffered with very sore back. The only plus is the location to beach and restaurants.

The room was average and had the balcony door handle broken so I could not lock it. The electric plug beside the bed was out of the wall. Both things I told the guy at the reception. The men at the pool bar was great and helpful because of the rain. The walkways are not great illuminated at night and can be very dangerous especially in the rain because you can't see the lower spots. Checking in was long because of only 1 women at the counter. The price is a little high overall.
However the location is great.

Room is a bid tired. Property overall is very nice, 2 pools, centrally located although not on the beach. Had 1 hot shower in 3 weeks there as solar hw is not up to the task. Need to remind staff to replace the towels they took for laundering. Staff is very cheerful and helpful.

I am an honest man and do not like leaving negative reviews, but felt like everyone should be warned. This is not a three or four star hotel.
As soon as we were checking in, we knew we were in trouble.
We immediately asked for another room, but were denied. In subsequent in-person, communication and emails they claim that they tried to show us other rooms while present, but that we declined. That is an untruth.
Upon arrival, they informed us that there may be no hot water on cloudy days! Further, they informed us upon check-in that the TV only had Netflix and YouTube. Worse, our TV didn’t even work. There were small bedside tables, but no place to lay luggage in the room, no table or desk. Room was was extremely small —and plain. The compound itself is nice enough, nice pool area—but the pictures to promote the resort are framed in such a way as to misrepresent. We tried negotiating with the management on multiple occasions, but they kept saying that we were free to try other rooms, but we had already moved and were in another contract. Claims there is direct beach access, but you do have to cross the road and walk for a bit. Not terrible, but I would not call it direct beach access. claim bilingual staff, which was not the case. We asked for a financial compromise of any sort—denied. We stayed one night (out of the14 reserved) and then left for the Velero Resort, which is just down the road. Very very nice. Highly recommend that resort. Character matters…so buyer beware.

This property is close to everything in cabarete. The beach is across the street, making it extra convenient. This is my 2nd time staying at this property, and the staff remembered us from our previous stay during the same time last year. The bartender, Josè is an excellent bartender and always made his rounds, asking us if we wanted more drinks. He was the highlight of our trip. He displayed superb customer service. The front desk agent, D is extremely cool and friendly. Housekeeping was very friendly and tentative as well. I loved my room, which was the Mountain View room. (Best room in the house, my opinion)

This is a spectacular prperty. Great, helpful staff, and super clean. Two huge pools the size of football fields with a nice bar in the middle. I would definitely stay here again.

Great value for the money. Ideally located in the heart of everything. Not much English being spoken in this location, mostly French and Spanish. Your hard press to find any English-speaking staff or guests. We speak English, and that made it a little tough to communicate, but other than that it was very Accommodating

Excellent staff. Like at all places if you leave a modest tip, you will be given special attention. The front desk staff went out of their way to find me a room in high season. The guard at the front is a treasure. The cleaning and grounds staff were always polite and trustworthy.

This property is a combination hotel and condo. We stayed 10 days. The location in downtown Cabarete is great, we felt safe and the pools are nice.

However, we will likely not come back. The bed was rock hard. The pillows gave my gf neck pain. The hot water worked about a third of the time. The smart features for the TV didnt work. The toilet stopped working on the day of checkout or that might have been a bigger issue.

You have both cheaper and nicer options in Cabarete. Choose one or the other.
