Hotel is perfectly located within walking distance from the gorgeous 7 miles beach and restaurants. The restaurant downstairs the hotel has awesome breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ice cream shop downstairs is amazing reminds me of ice cream back home in Jamaica. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful staff. Great location- close to everything. Loved all the items you could use to swim. Free breakfast and delicious. Right across from restaurants. Two minutes from water. Less than 10 minute walk to Camana Bay. Room is huge and exceeded expectations. Arrived early and was able to check in early. Will be back!!!!

My stay (May-June 2026), was most relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms are clean & spacious with enough room to accommodate a wide range of guest configurations (which make them economical) and offer different seating options (which make them comfortable) during non-sleeping times. The staff are friendly, efficient and very helpful, whether you are speaking to front desk, wait staff or the cleaners. I chose the inclusive daily breakfast option which has enough choice for most guests. However, there are more paid food and enhanced coffee options available, to suit the more demanding guest. Centrally located in Seven Mile stretch, close to the beach (5 min walk), large towels available, side pool area with loungers, and an ice cream shop on the ground level. A range of dining options are minutes away or the location hosts BBQ evenings with entertainment as well. Transportation is best by small public buses for 2$KY and take you most places. Will stay here again and again.

We had to catch an early flight. The front desk offered to give us a wakeup call and call us a taxi for 0615. We got neither. We couldn't get a taxi so early on Sunday morning. Imagine our frustration. The manager of a nonaffiliated restaurant, The Bonfire, gave us a lift. Imagine our graditude.

The room was immaculate. They cleaned everyday. The room was very nice. They were undergoing some construction when we were there and the elevator was down a few times which was frustrating because we had a young baby with a stroller. The beach was a bit farther than advertised but was still very close. The chairs weren’t as plentiful as we hoped and we were only able to snag one the whole trip. As a precaution. They don’t have beach umbrellas so be prepared to buy your own if you’re planning on using. The included breakfast was wonderful and the ice cream shop on premises was divine for both ice cream, and iced coffee in the morning.

Beach chairs, towels, and bags were provided for guests which was a nice amenity considering the close proximity to the beach

I stayed here last year and enjoyed my stay this year the place has gone downhill fast . First let’s start outside no outdoor shower for the entire 10 days it shouldn’t take that long to fix a problem the pool ladder broke one of the rungs were broken and pinched my foot on it the pool around the top at the water line was covered in black suntan lotion and rode grime I assume because your right along the main road chaise lounges with bent in legs and dirty , the light fixtures in the dining area dirty with dust , windows hazy replaced old backpack Tommy Bahama beach chairs with cheap camp chairs not at all comfortable at the beach . They are trying to clean up the place but woke me up in the middle of the night running a pressure washer the gasoline motor was noisy, breakfast was small portions and who knows if the kitchen was clean my room was fine except for minimal tv stations not one major network the only thing that was good was the staff couldn’t get any more friendly and would try to help in anyway I wouldn’t be staying here again just to many things wrong with the place for the price you pay

Location is convenient to the airport, restaurants, shopping and beach. The hotel supplies clean beach towels as often as you need them, beach chairs and beach bags. Breakfast options are a little limited but are very good and made to order. Housekeeping can come daily or every other day and does a thorough job. Room and bathroom were spacious for our family of six. Parking behind hotel is free and very convenient. Street in front of hotel is busy and traffic noise was sometimes bothersome during the night. Overall, would recommend and would gladly stay again!

Overall, a fantastic place to stay with a prime location just a 7-minute walk to the beach. We enjoy dining at Jacks, where the food is excellent, and they serve great Pina Coladas. The beach vibe is relaxing, and you can rent chairs and umbrellas for $30. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is included, which is quite good. In summary, it's a really enjoyable place to stay.

This was a great hotel in a awesome location along 7-mile beach. The breakfast was cook to order and very delicious. We enjoyed our stay at the Locale and the staff was excellent. My only negative would be the sewer smell that seems to be coming from the side road beside the pool that we smelled over several days.

Room had insects, some equipment were not functioning, AC and fan weren’t sleep sound friendly. Had to reach out to front Conceirge about bathroom electrical. There were some employees friends fixing their car at the front? The driving entrance of the location needs to be larger. Had only 6 breakfast selection.

Though, employees at the property were friendly and kind, free parking and free breakfast was the biggest plus.

I just stayed at the hotel for 1 week with my husband and young daughter. The location of the property is in the middle of Seven Mile Beach with tons of restaurants nearby including a grocery store and Camana Bay.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful with answering our questions and booking excursions. I wanted to personally give Johnny (runs the restaurant) a huge shoutout for his attentive service every morning and making our daughter feel extra special. She always wanted to say hi to him every morning. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is great. Lots to pick from. We also decided to eat dinner one night at the hotel when they were promoting their BBQ buffet. It was so good and the price was very reasonable.

Overall, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel room is big, modern and clean. My disappointment lies with the expectation of a resort hotel as advertised in the photos. It isn’t a resort hotel at all. More of an inn or like a lodge. I was charged $70 resort fees for 2 nights where there is no resort facilities at all. The hotel rate is pretty expensive for what you get.

Our only complaints was the low water pressure and the room was only serviced once in the 4 nights we stayed, even though I spoke to them about it daily. One day they came we had a 'do not disturb' door hanger because we were there a short while but they never checked back. Also would like the minimum temp for the A/C thermostat to be 70, not 72, due to the humidity. Made it a little warm for sleeping. Otherwise, the place was modern and clean, and we loved having the made to order breakfast (good service and food), and the ice cream place right downstairs. The walk to the beach wasn't bad, but unlike the hotels on the beach with umbrellas, there was no shady place to sit. Loved Seven Mile Beach and no complaints with the pool on site.

Very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent in-house restaurant, plus many other great dining options nearby. Well equipped rooms, with powerful but very loud AC (bring earplugs). Short walk to the beach with chairs available to borrow (don't bother with the umbrellas, as they're barely wide enough to cover one person). Right on the main street and a ~20 minute walk from Camana Bay, giving great access to local busses.

This hotel was a little bit of a disappointment: from the pictures, it looks like it is right on the beach, but there is actually a big development between the hotel and the beach (the hotel is actually off a busy road). Also, unlike other hotels along the beach, there are no beach chairs and umbrellas set up. They have beach chairs you can check out, but you need to lug them yourself and there is no shade.
The hotel itself is motel-like: clean and utilitarian with no frills. The room was a good size, though, and I liked that it had a small fridge, microwave, plates, cups, and cutlery. The air conditioning worked well, but they have it set so the lowest it will go is 72. Also, the room was noisy since it fronts a busy road, so you could hear traffic noise at night.
The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.

I had an amazing stay at The Locale Hotel in Grand Cayman, and it truly felt like a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making me feel right at home.

The hotel has a modern, boutique feel that I really appreciated. My room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable—everything felt fresh and thoughtfully put together. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

One of my favorite parts was the location. It’s just a short walk to Seven Mile Beach, which made it so easy to enjoy the crystal-clear water and stunning sunsets without being in an overcrowded resort setting.

The amenities were excellent—the pool area was peaceful and clean, perfect for relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and inviting. It was exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway.

What really stood out was the personalized service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and it made a huge difference in my experience.

I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Locale Hotel to anyone visiting Grand Cayman. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, style, and convenience.

The staff, the suite, and the food and hotel overall was wonderful. It's one of the best vacation stays we've had. Our kids really enjoyed their beds on the upper floor and honestly didn't want to leave their safe haven. The complimentary bkft selections were delicious and fresh every day. We’d give our stay at Locale Grand Cayman 4.5 stars. The included breakfast was good and had enough options each day. The location is a big plus. It’s in a great part of Seven Mile Beach, very touristy but convenient, with lots of nearby beach access points.

The hotel itself isn’t directly on the beach, but they make it easy by offering free beach towels, chairs, and toys for guests to use. The closest beach access is about a 10-minute walk. Overall, it was a great stay and a really convenient base for enjoying the area.

Great location within walking distance of the beach and Camana Bay for shopping/dining. Our room had one queen, one king and two twin beds along with a couch. It was very spacious. The exterior of the building looked a little dated/faded but the interior was great. It was amazing having towels and chairs to use whenever we needed them for the beaches/pool. Our only complaint was that the bathroom door was a barn door. It had no latch or lock and you could see into it via a gap on the side when walking by.

My partner and I stayed here for 7nights. The room was clean and spacious . Breakfast was included for the $35 daily fee ( towels and beach chairs ) . You are two blocks from the beach. There are restaurants and bars on the strip . I went to Jamaica for two days (funeral) leaving my partner behind. The hotel set up my 5am pick up . My return went very smooth as well . You are 6 minutes away from the airport ($25 USD) . The beach has a new beach bar called Jacks, rather you’ll been on the beach . We are from NYC . Expect to pay NYC prices and more for food and drinks . Cayman is not a cheap island . It is one of the most expensive Caribbean island. Be prepared to spend over $100 each time you sit . Gratuity is included in every bill which works out for the better . If you are looking to party hard , cayman is not your place . Cayman is for slow timing , reset , relaxation , peace with good vibes .

The location is close enough to the beach to make quick trips back and forth, and just far enough away to not feel stuck in the tourism. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The connected restaurant is filled with great food, drinks, and friendly staff. The rooms are also very soundproof which was good to not feel my child was disturbing others and the nearby street traffic was hardly noticeable. There is live music by the pool on Saturdays which we all enjoyed! I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel. Staff is great, very friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean. Great breakfast. Excellent location. Would absolutely stay again. Just a 3 minutes walk to the beach, although I’d recommend driving to Governors or Cemetery beaches.

The rooms are very spacious & well stocked with everything you'll need. Front desk is always available for help & very knowledgeable. This hotel is centrally located. Easy walking distance to a lot and roughly 10 minutes from the airport. The breakfast included was delicious. A pretty nice menu. The ice cream shop and Spa were nice. we visited the spa twice during our stay. My favorite staff employee was Tyrone. He is probably the youngest employee, very mild mannered but great at his job. His customer service is an easy A+. Just a great place.

Amazing place, serving is top notch- rooms were always clean, never had to wait it was always done in the morning. Restaurant downstairs was super cute, hand down best jerk chicken pasta. Good location as it was walking distance to a beach.

I left my shoes at the hotel and they shipped it back to me at their cost, no questions asked.

Very impressed with this place
