We looked over the ocean and the patio. The view was beautiful. Only complaint is the music during the day and the evenings without bands was tough to listen too. Need to change it up and less electronic sounding. The live music was very good and enjoyed on our balcony.

Staff were mostly courteous but did not seem to think ahead. For example i reported 4 mornings that my balcony door would not open. Only when i escalated it to the Manager did it get seen to.
On the Sunday after brunch one of the house keepers outside the room when i mentioned to him about it he wanted to come and bang it fixed. Told him i wanted to rest and come when i was not in the room...

Perfect stay, beautiful location, small beach that was excellent for snorkeling and water toys. My only suggestion would be please heat up the beautiful outdoor pool!! It was crazy cold and no one was ever in it even in 80 degree weather.

Generally, a nice property with good rooms, but unfortunately the beach is now eroded and gone and the free shuttle to the public beach is a small van which only seats12 (so often too crowded or no room). Breakfast is great and the staff are excellent. The gym is small with no windows and is not well appointed. The pool area is nice but also too small and it has difficulty accommodating all the guests who are jammed in as there is no beach option.

The Expedia website for this hotel under the heading \"about this property\" says, \"white sandy beach. There is no beach / it was lost to erosion. I spent weeks trying to cancel my trip when I found out there was no beach - but Expedia staff tried to explain to me that \"white sandy beach\" doesn't mean it's at the hotel - it's the beach they shuttle you to. What an absolute disappointment and waste of money - shame on you Expedia who blamed the property for the issue and wouldn't take ownership of the problem to fully resolve it.

We have stayed at many Marriott Properties and this was the worst by far. This is not a resort. It is a cheap hotel with no valet, no amenities, no customer service and absolutely no beach at all. That is right! This is the only property on 7 mile beach without a beach. One of the filters I used was beach resort but there is NO BEACH - some of the reviews said they have a great beach but the review must be 10yrs old or more. They tried to compensate by providing a free shuttle to the public beach and government beach but they were overcrowded and disgusting, too many people and too much garbage. How dare they charge $750 per night and a $65 per day resort fee with no resort, beach, valet, and 1 small pool and tiny hot tub. The staff lied over and over stating that the website says there is no beach but when I confronted them to show me where it states that they could not show me. They ruined my trip and I will never forget what happened to me and my wife during our anniversary and how they made us feel. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

The room was very clean. Hotel staff helpful. The extra classes that were added in over the holidays were a wonderful addition! This should be done routinely! We participated in a paint and sip class, an empanada making class and more. The fitness room, however, is in need of updates and mold eradication. The smell is not due to perspiration, but rather to mold and mildew as evident in the ceiling tiles. We would definitely think of staying here again, although it should be clear on the website that this property has no beach.

Great staff! Great activities -Minu and Lupita did an amazing job. Most of the international staff were always willing to help, friendly and had a great attitude towards customer service.
Just be careful before you’re booking if you’re going to the this place for beach, THERES NO BEACH… it got wiped away several years back.
Our experience here was amazing expect the Christmas dinner when the they were short staffed and over booked. I would avoid going here during the holidays.

And no abilities to walk thru the beaches. We had to get dressed, take towels and walk outside for 15 min to the next public beach access in order to walk thru beautiful seven miles beach. Very inconvenient.

The property is on the beach however there is no like sandy area that you can lounge on, in October for sure. I loved that because I don’t care for the sand. They will set up chairs for you right in front of the water so that was perfect for me. The best thing is the man made reef directly in front of the hotel. There were so many fish in it and that so awesome to snorkel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the property was clean. Great restaurants in and around the resort.

Situated right on a very narrow but perfect stretch of beach with recliner chairs down on the water. Nice pool with very attendant staff who put on surprise afternoon treats.
One day there was bracelet lacing, another they gave away snow cones, and another they put out munchies.
The ocean is calm and swimmable for any level swimmer. They placed concrete habitat cones about 100tds out in about 8’ of water that makes for great snorkeling.
But be aware of the resort fees added to your stay ($69/day, covers the staff and ‘freebies at the pool) and the international exchange rate that adds about 25% on to whatever you think you are paying for food and drinks. Also, check that tips are not already added to your bill before you pony up another 20% !! Rookie mistake I fell for a few years ago.
All in all, I’d go back next week if I didn’t have some pickleball already scheduled.

There's a couple of things that I didn't like about the hotel.
One no complimentary water. You had to basically buy water which was about $8. It was only about 2 restaurants that was open. The hotel had one big pool in the back and food and Drinks was very pricey. And to heat up food in the restaurant microwave you have to sign a waiver. Never had that before and l have stayed at alot of resorts

Second time at the hotel. Feel like they are penny pinching now as they have stopped offering complementary coffee in the morning instead making you now pay $7 kyd for a coffee and also the bottled water at the entrance is now a token effort that is gone in minutes.
The pool was crystal clear last year but this year it’s cloudy which for a hotel with no beach is a little disappointing. However the staff were great and the rooms are clean

This is our second stay at the Cayman Marriott. We truly enjoyed our stay. The entire team from the front desk to the pool assistants to the restaurant and bar staff both on the Vista and in the Den were wonderful. The spa and retail shop attendants were helpful and super nice. We watched this entire group work so well together to make our stay wonderful. Housekeeping was very accommodating and provided extra towels and room cleaning as needed. We were greeted with a smile everywhere we turned on the property. The team deserves a 10+ for extraordinary service. Marriott should be proud of this group. The management that assembled this team has done a great job. The team at the bar was a joy to watch. Ciceidio was a wonderful leader there and his smile was infectious for those around him. We will be back and thank you Cayman Marriott for making our stay so great!

We recently stayed at The Grand Cayman Marriott Resort. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Our room was very clean and comfortable, which we appreciated.

However, we were disappointed by the lack of entertainment and adult-focused activities. When we arrived on Sunday, there was a fun afternoon party that gave us high hopes — but unfortunately, the rest of the week fell flat. We were expecting more in terms of engaging activities like karaoke, happy hour socials with music, or simple games like bingo or Uno to help guests connect and enjoy themselves. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.

Overall, our stay was just okay. It didn’t feel like a fun or memorable vacation, and for that reason, we’ve decided we won’t be returning to this resort.
