Very small room for 2 adults, bathroom as well. Drawers were broken in desk and night table.
Not aware that we would climb 20 steps up to hotel with luggage . Location was close to cruise port which was good but the area was very dirty and can be intimidating.
I was bitten by small mosquitoes during the night …welts and intense itching.
Owners did try to help ….thought it was allergies to laundry soap but it was bites .

am solo traveller and I needed an affordable room for one night. My requirements were simple, a clean room, a comfortable bed and a clean private bathroom.
This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. A bonus was the breakfast. Absolutely great options and someone on hand to make you cappuccino’s, Expresso’s etc
The location is outside of the main downtown area on a sea front. It’s quiet and peaceful.
Check in was easy and wifi was good.
The cab cost was €35 for one person from FCO. The walk to the train station is about 20 minutes. You need to take a local train then the metro if you want to reach the main tourist sites. From the time I left the hotel to the time I arrived at Romes Termini Station or the Colosseum was approximately one hour and 15 minutes with just the one train change.
I highly recommend this hotel if you don’t mind the one hour commute.
The staff were really nice and friendly. Everyone I encountered spoke English.

Beds are not comfortable, one pillow is very thick, another one is too thin. Very noisy area for a half of night. Missed breakfast - reception man did not tell us that it runs only one hour - 7:50 to 8:50.

Speechless - worst hotel experience of my life
The hotel itself was worn down and there were cockroaches (the breakfast also consisted of a packaged croissant served inside the room), but the thing that really pushes this experience from “not good, wouldn’t go back” to “terrible, I really, REALLY recommend NOT going” was the fact that after writing my review on google maps, I got attacked by the owner with some extremely racist, serious and ridiculous remarks - totally unexpected and unprofessional, a miserable interaction to represent a miserable hotel

It's a small, but comfortable and clean hotel. The hotel is located in a narrow street near the train station, which gets noizy in the evenings, but quiets down at night when the little shops nearby close.

The staff is friendly and speaks Italian and French.

-During the night, an engin started frequently up, which was followed by a noise which seemed to be like \"boiling\" of 'bubbling\" water. That noise lasted approx. 1/2 hour, until the said engin stopped its function. This proceeding was repeated during the whole night.

Dont ever check in this junk hotel, it a con, check in close at 5pm. It not as in the photo. I arrived at Genoa 10pm and went to the building as in the photo. Finally found the hotel at 11pm on a back street behind a sandwich shop, not easy to find. This mafia refused to honour my booking nor refund me. Daylight robbery. It not a safe place, many black hanging around

It is really nice hotel conviently located near the train station Genoa Principe, the only down side i qill say is that you dont get key for the main door. You need to be back at yhe hotel before midnight or else youll be locked outside. I think thw reason beaing is that the area or the street is has so many bystanders that seems dodgy.

Great location as we were embarking on a cruise and arrived by train from Milan. Easy walk both directions. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower took a very long time to heat up and pressure was low but it did the job. Perfect hotel for one night stay.

-Plus: Good location.
-Minus: Bathroom hot water is only available by demand. You need to ask for hot water to take a shower 15 minutes before. Breakfast is only prepared at 9AM and not a buffet. The worst experience is hotel staff was trying to get us pay the invoice for the stay even it had been paid in full on Expedia. Not a great experience.

C’est tout à fait correct pour un hôtel où on ne passe qu’une nuit, et très bien situé à quelques pas de la gare, par contre, très bruyant en raison du trafic de voitures et c’est dommage qu’il y ait une heure limite pour rentrer. Pour le reste, nous en avons eu pour notre argent, très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de parler beaucoup avec les personnes à la réception d’où le bonhomme « OK » car nous ne savons pas juger pour le coup.

Bardzo dobry, czysty i doskonale położony

Hotel położony jest bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego Genova Piazza Principe i stacji metra, więc dojazd nie stanowi najmniejszego problemu.
W pobliżu hotelu zaczynają się trasy z atrakcjami miasta, a do większości z nich można dojść na piechotę.
Pokój który zajmowałem był duży, badzo czysty i doskonale wyposażony (łącznie z ekspresem do kawy na kapsułki). Jedynym minusem pokoju było okno od strony ruchliwej ulicy, więc do pokoju dochodził hałas (co nie zmienia faktu, że przedłużyłem pobyt o kolejny dzień).
Na pochwały zasługuje również obsługa hotelu: bardzo miła, pomocna i bezproblemowa.

I'll give 2 stars for friendly staff, the old man was very friendly. But in all honesty, the room was disgusting... I'm sorry to report this but it has to be said. The room was completely impregnated by cigarette smell, with cigarette buds still lieing on the floor... So much smell that my nice whool jacket still smells strong cigarette and a deep clean will be necessary to restore it! Also walls made of paper, neighbor's tv in room 2 was so loud it prevented normal sleep past midnight, and no reception answering to make sure silent after midnight was respecterd. Also a lot of confusion with checkin time, where reservation stated 5pm and after noting this I spent all day trying to communicate with reception but no answer...

For a single traveller, room is small but simple and clean. You get a bedside table with phone, wardrobe with a small safe, table with kettle, wall-mounted. TV (but channels limited), chair, washbasin and bidet. There is a communal bathroom/toilet outside the room. You get 2 towels (changed daily if used) and basic soap (bring your own shampoo, toothpaste etc.). Can be a little noisy but sound isn’t too intrusive. My room was quite high up even though it’s on the ground floor of the hotel so felt comfortable leaving my window open (there is an additional adjustable shutter). You give your room key to reception every time you vacate the property, which has a locked door above a high flight of stairs (good for security). Ring the doorbell for attention. Breakfast provided is vey basic - coffee in a plastic cup and croissant and toasted bread in packets, with jam and butter, which is taken to your room (you’re asked what time you’d like to have breakfast). Staff are friendly. Location is excellent - literally a few minutes walk from the main station (Pricinple) and well served by local shops. Major sites of interest are within walking distance. For a one star hotel it’s absolutely fine and great value if you just need a simple roof over your head. No hesitation recommending.

The staff were all lovely and really helpful, bed was comfortable, however - shower was very compact, automatic light in en suite - it would go off during every shower! The bathroom door surround was loose and almost fell off.
Kettle and coffee maker in the room, but no cups! Breakfast brought to the room each morning - but only one chair at the table, so someone always got breakfast in bed. The only mirror was the bathroom one. Air con was 15 euros extra per day - we only discovered that when we checked in!
Pretty sure the info for this hotel said it had a pool and 2 restaurants - no sign of either!
It is very handy for the train station and a number of eateries though.

Avoid!!! The manager confiscated our passports at check in… and threatened to lock us out if we didn’t return in time.
The hotel is disgusting and dirty, and the worse part of town!!! Defiantly not safe at night and no way suitable to single travelers!!! And that just inside the hotel!!

Early check-in (room was available after 11am), friendly and welcoming staff at the reception (open 24 h), small basin in the room - convenient to wash hands etc., shared bathroom was clean and just across corridor, no AC - only fan and street facing window is very noisy - bring ear plugs to sleep in hot summer months, possibilities to make own tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast in the room and very basic (tea, croissant and butter). Furniture is a bit worn. There are Chinese restaurant and shop very close to hotel for those who tired of Italian food. Generally satisfied with my stay, considering location, service and price paid.

Having never stayed in a 1 star I was a bit worried about my stay here. However it was all fine apart from couple of things. Found a couple of bugs in room, probs from small gaps in skirting board/wall. Also would have liked a brighter light in room. However it was clean, staff helpful and rooms cleaned daily. It was up to 30 degrees but there was a standing fan in room which helped at night. In the morning you get a hot drink, croissant and French toast to have in your room. Not sure I'd want to stay if hotter as would be very uncomfortable. It's walking distance to port and shops, train station and buses. Can get bus to airport for 6 euros per person. The hotel is in an alleyway but if you turn left when leaving you are not far from main road. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here as was expecting worse reading some reviews.

Horrendous experience

Please do not book this hotel. We had a really horrible experience with the manager (a truly nasty, unprofessional individual - a very long story) and the room was most certainly NOT what we had booked (no matter how many times the manager tried to bully me in to agreeing that it was, despite the documents I had from Expedia as proof). Thankfully, after complaining to Expedia and much distress, we were moved to a far better hotel. Don't put yourself through it, book somewhere else.

For a one-star hotel was very good. It's like 2 stars. Daily change of towels and cleaning. Standard continental breakfast. The room is small, the windows face the wall, but it was not important for us. The hotel is located in the area of migrants, nevertheless very close to the railway station.This is undoubtedly a \"plus\". Wi-fi is good, but at night it turns off for some reason. The only thing that was unpleasant - we saw the cockroach several times.

great location, don’t think i’d stay again

The hotel is two minutes walk from Genova Piazza Principe railway station and the port, where you can see all the yachts, visit restaurants and enjoy the aquarium.

The hotel itself was fairly clean but the street it’s situated on is very busy and because there’s only a fan in the room and no air-con you need the windows open in hot months and the noise from outside is present 24/7.

The hotel staff take your key when you leave the hotel no matter how long for so it feels kind of restrictive. This didn’t bother us but on our last night in the hotel we returned from a day out and collected our keys to get into the room. Upon doing so the member of staff asked if we’d be leaving the hotel again that evening...we didn’t know why that was any of his concern but we said yes. There was a language barrier so we couldnt communicate much more than yes or no. We left an hour later to go for dinner and gave our keys to a different member of staff. When we returned that night that staff member didn’t have our keys (that they have on hooks behind the reception desk) he said we must have them but we did give them to him a few hours prior. After a short time he found a spare set.

In the morning at 8am (checkout 10am) we were awoken by the first staff member entering the room and dropping off the original key set. Very odd.

Overall the hotel is affordable and well placed, with friendly (though confusing) staff. The language barrier was likely key in all the confusion.

A really nasty man on reception asked him not to go into the room when i went out as my girlfriend was still in the room within a few minutes he was knocking on the door and entered the room scaring and upsetting my girlfriend
On checking out was asked for a city tax of €6 i said no problem and asked for a receipt then the guy went crazy saying no reciept just pay i then recorded him as he decided to call the police and hold us hostage until the police came even though id left the €6 on the counter i still have the video and will post it on relevant sites -should not be allowed to run a hotel horrible person

Barely nicer than a cot and a bucket in a dumpster

We couldn’t actually stay and because our reservation was non refundable, we lost our full payment for two rooms. This hotel is a hole in a nasty little alley, no air conditioning, no air, ugly, tiny rooms. They would not refund any of our payment even though we didn’t stay so we cost them no linens, no towels, no room cleaning. They claimed that any hotel better than theirs would be three times as much but there were clean, comfortable places with air conditioning on nice streets in Genoa for the same cost, even less. They said “this is a one star hotel” repeatedly. It was not ranked at one star on hotels.com when I booked it. DONT BOOK IT. YOULL REGRET IT.

The management of this hotel is horrible

Hotel is horrible I was denied access when I arrived to the hotel then tried to cancel my reservation for the following day and they told me to call the office the following day when I call the office the next day the same gentleman answered the phone and refused to cancel my reservation when I was not going to be in that country. the hotel is located in a bad area I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it's in a very bad area in the management has very poor customer service.

Il mio soggiorno è stato positivo. L’unica pecca è che, essendo la porta della stanza direttamente sulla hall, si sentono i rumori di chi entra ed esce (io ho il sonno leggero).

Per il resto mi sono trovato molto bene: il personale è stato molto cortese e disponibile. Mi hanno permesso di lasciare i bagagli sia prima del check-in sia dopo il check-out, così ho potuto continuare a visitare senza ingombri.

Consiglierei questo hotel ad amici.

Hotel con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, personale gentile, pulito. Comodo per la stazione. L'unico problema è esterno all'hotel, che si trova in un quartiere frequentato solo da stranieri extracomunitari, che generano una continua sensazione di insicurezza con il loro comportamento

Værelser og bad var rene.
Morgenmaden nåede vi ikke.
Beliggenheden var dårlig, det virkede som et lidt skummelt område hvor man ikke havde lyst til at være efter mørkets frembrud.

E una struttura Moltó Semplice di trovare perche e abbastanza Vicino allá stazione dei treni di piazza principe e anche dall'acquario, IL personale sonó stati Moltó gentile con tutto, la stanza era propio perfetta per me che ero da sola, la pulizia era stuppenda, la comodita del matterazo mi ha piaciuto, l'area condizionata andava benissimo, la colazione era perfetta, tutto ha andato abbastanza bene nel mio viaggio, tornero.

Excelente calidad-precio

La calidad-precio es excelente. Tiene muchos servicios típicos de hoteles 4 estrellas como pantuflas, maquina de café y hervidor en la habitación,frigobar,etc. Realmente están pendientes de todos los detalles y la limpieza es impecable.
Está muy bien ubicado cerca de la estación pero hay que tener en cuenta que la zona no es muy bonita. Creo que es más la impresión que da, a que sea realmente peligroso. Es bastante ruidoso pero con la ventana cerrada y tapones se puede dormir bien. Tengan en cuenta que cobran adicional por el aire acondicionado.
Yo lo recomiendo

Fijne iets rumoerige kamer

Omdat we aan de achterzijde zaten met 2 drukke wegen boven elkaar was het 's-nachts zeer luidruchtig. Als je dat niet gewend bent kom je lastig in slaap. De kamer was voorzien van koelkast en airco. Dat was meer dan ik verwachtte. Al met al simpel maar toch wel fijn in de stad buiten de ZTL Zone
