Great central venue to explore City. Felt very safe as stayed during Covid-19 outbreak. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Room a little tired in decor but about right for price we paid. Hard mattress so good for anyone with a bad back.

The Hotel is convenient to Principale Train Station; a bit tired. It’s family owned and managed for generations; very helpful staff. Genoa itself is a bit gritty except for the new Harbor area where we walked to from the hotel. Nervi is a 20 min train ride.

The hotel is easy to find. It located close to the train station and to the main attractions. It was clean in the room. Good breakfast (eggs, sausage, cheese, pastries) . Very kind staff -helped carry the suitcase, gave books with information about Genoa.Good free wifi.
I lived in a single room. Unfortunately, it does not have a safe or refrigerator, although they are in double+ rooms.

Hotel Vittoria & Orlandini is a hotel which will give you a lot of surprise. You'll find it very comfortable with your stay in Genova. The room is spacious and clean. It's only one block away from the Piazza Principe Railway Station. But you have to take a lift (elevator) downstairs to go up to the hotel (Left turn from the Pharmacy. Its location seems to be in a \"cul de sac\". You will find a yellow sign, Hotel Vittoria & Orlandini. Breakfast room is a nice place to have your breakfast. All kinds of coffee for you to drink. All kinds of bakery for you to taste. \"Paul\" is very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. He will tell you where to walk to see Genova and nearby towns. We enjoyed our stay there for a week. All kinds of restaurants on the street for your to choose. Will come back next time if we go to Genova again.

this hotel was lovely with a great staff service

The hotel was very quaint, very clean and had an ambiance of old gracefulness, well cared for. The proprietor suggested a restaurant for our first meal in Italy and it was the best food we ate all week. We also received a 15% discount for staying at the Hotel. The closeness to the Transit hub was useful and also the location of the harbour for catching the cruise ship was ideal. Although we could have walked to the ship we opted to take a cab, which the hotel secured for us very quickly. The hotel was a little hard to locate as the enterance was set back from the sidewalk. The breakfast was continental but had everything you asked for and it was filling. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family although it did not have all the bells and whistles of a large chain hotel
it was very restful and accommodating. I hope to someday return to this hotel and Genoa itself.

Hotel is close to the Genova Principe rail station. There is an elevator to get to the hotel lobby from the street and then there are a few stairs from the lobby to the room elevator but the desk clerk was very helpful and brought our bags up and down. Breakfast that was included was adaquate. Bathroom was small but functional. Room wasn't very large, but had a roomy feeling to it based on placement of furniture. Good value. There is an excellent restaurant across the street from the hotel for dinner, nice choices and variety, reasonable prices,,plus a discount if you mention you are staying at the hotel.

My wife and I stayed in August and it was wonderful, the staff were so friendly and helpful and we really felt like we were in Italy thats for sure! The breakfast was great, plenty of options and terrific coffee. The rooms are from another era but that absolutely adds to the charm, wonderful! Can't speak highly enough about the hotel for value, friendliness, cleanliness and location it cannot be beaten, we will be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay :)

Great location without blowing your budget

The hotel was located right by Genoa Piazza Principe station, which was nice as I didn't need to walk much carrying my luggage. The staff was friendly & helpful. The room had a large comfortable bed & equipped with everything you'd need for your stay. It was an easy, nice walk from the hotel to the historical center of Genoa such as Via Garibaldi. I think it is a nice option for someone who's looking for a moderately priced hotel, yet conveniently located.

Nice hotel for a nice price.

Sadly our stay was only for one night, so we did not get to see much of the city. We arrived by train from Milan and were delighted at how close the hotel was to the railway station. The immediate area was old and atmospheric and our walk in and around the many small streets/alleyways near the port was a treat. We were in Genoa during the Euro football and watched the 1st game of the tournament in the \" HB Café 1969\" whose owner is a mad Sampadoria fan. We had a good night with him and a few of his regular customers.

The room is super clean. The bathroom and shower tad small but this is common in Italy. The staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They might look a bit grumpy at first but it's an external thing , you pass that and they are nicest people to deal with. Good breakfast.

Central Hotel is a Hidden Gem.

This is an old hotel, so do not be alarmed when you see the room at first. However, I can only be positive about our stay at the Vittoria. The air conditioning unit within the room meant that we could control the temperature, the bed was comfortable and the shower was the best one we encountered in Italy. Additionally, the included breakfast was adequate.
The reception and breakfast staff were excellent - friendly and really very helpful, especially with the luggage. We really enjoyed our night in Genoa at the Vittoria and we would stay here again.

Great short break in Genoa

The Vittoria hotel is long overdue for a renovation (bathroom facilities especially). Rooms are NOT sound-proof: we could hear every single word from folks who happened to arrive in the middle of the night and get a room next to ours. Our night sleep got ruined.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were a bit skeptical. It sets back from the street and there is another business or two below the hotel. You enter doors to the building and there is a sign pointing to the hotel. You go up the elevator a floor or two to the hotel. However, the old adage \"You can't judge a book by its cover\" comes to mind. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom large. George at the front desk was so helpful and willing to answer all our questions. He referred us to a restaurant for dinner (which was very good) and told us to tell them he sent us. The restaurant gave us a discount. I would go back to the Vittoria again.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at

Perfect location extremely close to the main station in Genova, but on top of that it was a comfortable clean room. I was extremely impressed as well with the quality of service at the hotel everyone was extremely cheerful. The man at the front even walked me up to my room on the fourth floor. Overall I was very impressed by this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very old hotel, but really quiet, clean and safe. Beds comfortable. They have a computer in reception area that I was allowed to use free of charge. Loved that. Employees all very polite. Sadly we did not get to have the included breakfast as we had to leave very early in the morning to get our flight back to the states. We liked the fact that is was just across the street from the Train Station (also in front of the train station you can get the shuttle bus to and from airport for 6 euros a person), no problem walking there from the train with our luggage. Close to shopping/eating areas. Walking distance to the Aquarium, which we highly recommend going to see.

I wanted to be close to the Principe train station for the Volabus to the airport the next day. The hotel was extremely convenient. I think that this is a family run hotel -- and although I was only there one night -- I felt very welcomed -- to the city and the hotel. The visitor bureaus for Genoa are good but the Vittoria staff (family) are better.

Hotel is very well situated within 5 mins walk of the Volabus stop from the airport in front of the Principe station. It doesn't front onto the main street but is clearly signed. The gentleman on the Reception desk couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfasts were fine - cold meats, cheese, pastries etc. We had a room on the 3rd floor which had a balcony and a distant seaview. We would definitely return here if we come back to Genoa in the future.

This hotel is really very charming, more of a boutique than a hotel. It's built into the side of a steep hillside a block away from the main train station in Genoa and is NOT suitable for someone requiring accessible accommodations. The surrounding neighborhood is a maze of narrow streets and alleys with many different types of businesses and restaurants and seems to be where the immigrant community has settled. We felt safe everywhere we walked (and we walked a lot) but be prepared to meet the ladies of the night if you walk down the wrong street in the evening.

Great location for Genoa-based travel

We stayed 3 nights at the end of July. This is really a nice hotel. It's a bit dated, but definitely not uncomfortably so. Outstanding staff -- especially friendly and helpful on the front desk and in the breakfast room. Nice selection for breakfast in a quiet, fairly spacious open-windowed room: cereals, meats & cheeses, breads, danishes, fresh fruit & yoghurt. It was quite hot when we visited, but the rooms do have air conditioning, howbeit, ours never seemed to get very cold -- it did keep the heat bearable, but definitely not a match for the heat & humidity that it battles. The bed was nice and firm, without being uncomfortably so. Room service looked after the place with great care. There was an obviously ant trap on the floor next to the balcony doors, but we never saw any signs of any kind of bugs. Clean bathroom, sporting toilet, bidet, and shower over bath -- great water pressure made for nice hot showers after long, hot days. Great hotel. Pod location close to the train station without the disturbance of the trains. Good neighborhood -- I never felt unsafe, not even at nights. Hotel accessible by either long flights of steps or a small but quite adequate elevator. Fresh linens, hair dryer (of sorts), and quiet atmosphere just add to the appeal of this hotel. We'd definitely stay again.

Super séjour à Gènes en couple ! L’hotel est plutôt bien placé, on accede au centre historique de Gènes en une dizaine de minutes de marche. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas exceptionnel mais il fait l’affaire. La chambre est confortable et propre. Le personnel est bienveillant et accueillant !

Buona posizione, comoda per vicinanza treni metro e attrazioni turistiche. L’ingresso scoraggia un po’ , ma poi trovi ottima accoglienza e gentilezza , colazione buona . Stanza discreta ben climatizzata. Peccato per il bagno che è molto alla buona , con vasca da bagno obsoleta e con tendina per la doccia molto scomoda e poco igienica , basterebbe poco per migliorare .

Muy atentos, edificio antiguo con injertos.

Sin quejas por la atención que en la persona del encargado, fue excelente, aportando datos justos de lugares para comer o visitar.
Lamentablemente las instalaciones no condicen con las estrellas asignadas.

Hotel in posizione strategica ma tranquillissima. Necessiterebbe di una rinfrescatina in alcune delle camere, ma la soddisfacente colazione e la gentilezza e professionalità dei gestori compensano ampiamente questa carenza.

Endroit à recommander!

Hôtel placé tout près du centre. Réceptionnistes fantastiques, de bon conseil et parlant parfaitement le français. La chambre est grande et très propre mais elle pourrait être remise au goût du jour car l'ensemble est un peu vieillot.

Hotel molto vecchio in fase di ristrutturazione. Bagno e camera con arredi molto vecchi ma in buone condizioni. Sala colazioni rinnovata. buon buffet. WiFi ben funzionante
