Ideally located and a very short walk to the port area. Complimentary breakfast which was a bonus. Rooms are not huge but this is not an issue if you're out most of the time anyway. Very friendly staff. It is worth asking reception to book a taxi if you're going to the airport (approx. €25).

Parking was tough but property is not far up a side street connected to the port main road, so we could park at the aquarium public parking and it was very short walk.
Very glad we stayed at this hotel vs others in Genoa downtown once we had walked the city some. This property is in one of the better / cleaner / safer feeling zones. The police station is literally next door so you get to see them pass by on patrol regularly.

The pizza place directly across the street had excellent pizza as well.

The room was nice and clean, the beds were a bit yoo hard. The location was close to the important sites of Genova. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately there were many sketchy people aproaching you and making you feel unsafe. There were groups of Africans looking at people and communicating with each other in there language and gave the weirdest feelings when some follow you.

The room was great for 5 people, walkable to the water and to sites in town/food. We had a car and saw there was parking included. You need to drive through \"limited\" pedestrian areas to the front of the building, which our GPS's didn't want us to do. So it took some driving around to figure that out. We weren't sure if we were allowed to drive on the road in front, which we were. We weren't able to get the parking for free, our data was entered, but exiting of parking wasn't clearly explained, and we ended up being charged 20 Euros. We were told the car info was loaded onto the app, so when exiting parking, we didn't know we also had to use the ticket kiosk prior to exiting. When we did that, it charged us.
Other than driving to check in and parking exit, everything was great.
Breakfast was great, 4 euros per person, lots of variety and tasted great.

The hotel itself was good and in a nice building. We asked (the day before) for a taxi to the airport for 5:00 am. One was never ordered and we had a terrible scramble in the morning. Stress we did not need. Also the area is mixed.

We as a family really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. All the staff were so nice and helpful . I really recommend this place. Thank you to all the staff ! It was our first trip to Italy and we really enjoyed it. Room was clean, breakfast was nice. Also staff speak English , so it was easy to communicate with them.

Rooms are really small and mine didn’t smell nice. Staff are ok, did not wish to accommodate any of my requests. The hotel is situated in the old town which is nice but the road leading to the hotel via the port is very rough full of sketchy people and I felt really unsafe. So I won’t be returning to this hotel again.

A great hotel deep in Genova's old port

The hotel is excellent - clean, comfortable, all the facilities you expect. The location is in a narrow street in the old port area of Genova, surrounded by bars and restaurants, close to the big waterfront attractions and the central chirces/palazzi/museums. It can be noisy outside at night, but the double glazed windows are effective. We had an enjoyable three night stay and would defintely stay again.

We booked a room that was supposed to have a balcony/patio as described \"1 King Bed- 226-sq-foot (21-sq-meter) soundproofed room with a balcony/patio\". We received a dark room without a balcony/patio. I asked the front desk what happened since our confirmation stated we were supposed to have a balcony, FD lady said \"this is only a request\" and insisted on saying the same thing although I showed her my cell with the confirmation... then she asked me to send her the email so it doesn't happen to anyone else... she could have focused on making it right to us, and not worry about future mishaps..

Although difficult to park near hotel -we parked in a near by public car park, our experience of this busy hotel was excellent, The receptionist -although extrembly busy helping clients - was very professional and extremely courteous
Our room was comfortable and breakfast the next morning more than adequate,We would definitely come back to stay here if we were in this city again,

The Hotel is located in Genoa's Old Port district, which is full of narrow streets, bars and restaurants. In one direction it is a short walk from Genova Stazione Piazza Principe (very useful for exploring the beautiful Ligurian coast). In another direction it is short walk to the majestic central square of Piazza de Ferrari. The hotel itself is fully modern and very attractive, with efficient air conditioning and WiFi. The staff are unfailingly friendly and efficient. Finally the buffet breakfast is really good value.

Ideally located 3* hotel closely situated to the Port of Genoa, Aquarium and Maritime Museum. Piazza Principle train station is a 15-20 min. walk away if your looking to go further a field otherwise approx. €13 for 4 persons with luggage.

Hotel was clean; appears to have been recently redecorated and is in a clean condition. We had 2 rooms next to each other (not joined) on the 5th floor (8 floors in total). Views not brilliant - usually the wall of the next building, but the rooms themselves are generally spacious and functional. Got some good nights sleeps on the comfy beds, showers are simple gravity fed and temperatures due fluctuate due to water usage, tea & coffee making facilities, and there’s a good well stocked mini-bar available. Staff really pleasant and helpful, and the lobby has a waiting area, internet access, free Wi-Fi (with reasonably good coverage), and info. re. the local area. Breakfast is €3/person which is really good value compared to what you’d pay in some of the Cafés; inc. ‘s hot and cold food.

There’s limited offering of food nearby but you can normally find something nearby. Otherwise head for the nearby Metro and after a few stops get off at ‘Piazza de Ferrari’ where along with the big name shops, you’ll also find more eating choices.

Be aware there’s a €1.50/person/night city tax to pay on checkout.

Overall an ideal location and a good base to explore the area.

This hotel was an oasis of calm after a long day travelling. We arrived late and the reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. My three boys rated this the best hotel room of our three week touring holiday. High praise indeed. There is 24 hr parking over the road from the hotel right outside the aquarium.

Not bad for price but wouldn't likely return.

Be aware that if you are arriving by car the hotel is not easy to find, and can be very difficult to access. You have to find your way through a maze of very narrow, limited access streets. The A/C in our room was also not working well, so the heat and humidity made it difficult to sleep. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was good, however.

We arrived at the Hotel at 10pm after a journey that should have taken less than six hours took 13 hrs due an autostrada closure due to an accident and consequential heavy traffic on the other roads. Although we had printed the directions to the hotel, and also had the GPS data, we did find it very difficult to find in the dark as the route takes you through some very dark and narrow streets in the old town, some of which we couldn’t believe were able to accommodate a car. Nevertheless, we finally made it and were able to park in the single parking space opposite to check in. The hotel receptionist (Michael?) could see we were stressed and tired and said that we could take our time getting our luggage to our room, have a shower and unwind before moving the car. His understanding really helped to ease our stress and took the pressure off us. The car park the hotel uses is a minute’s drive away and was a secure underground area accessed by a keypad. Having parked the car we didn’t feel inclined to drive again until our departure, but there is plenty to explore in Genoa on foot.
Our room overlooked a narrow pedestrian side street with another building directly opposite so there was no road noise whatsoever. It was very spacious, modern, spotlessly clean with a comfortable king-size bed and plenty of storage space. Wi-fi worked well.
Breakfast was served in a small-ish room that was a bit cramped when busy but did offer enough seating. It was typically continental – brea
