Wonderful b&b in the heart of Ortigia. Our room had a view over the Temple of Apollo! Very friendly owner who takes good care of you. It's an old building in the cemetery of town so there is some street noise at night, as you'd expect. To us, it was worth it for the unbeatable location.

Great location. Pleasant, helpful host. But the room, although large and well furnished, was very cold. Minimal heat early morning and at night, which could not be controlled from the room. Basic pre packaged breakfast. Some traffic and construction noise, along with the room temperature, detracted from our stay.

Apartment has special unique atmosphere, it is wonderful to be inside, explore this historical place, its tiles on the floor, ceiling. Enjoy breakfast and try marsala wine. We don’t stay at B&Bs generally. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The building has construction going on that really didn’t bother us but a bit unsightly. The room is within walking distance of duomo and shopping. Room (2nd floor) right in piazza - lively location. Room itself is huge -we were only ones in apt so bathroom was private but normally would be shared if other rooms occupied.

This B & B is advertised as 'ensuite' but that's not the case. None of the rooms has an ensuite bathroom. We did have a private bathroom, but it was not connected to our room and we had to walk through the common area where the breakfast table was to get to it. The other rooms similarly had assigned bathrooms but none was contiguous to a bedroom.
Breakfast was another problem. Nothing was really prepared, including the coffee. It might better be described as a self-catering accommodation. No comparison to the other hotels and B & Bs we stayed at.

Vi hadde et supert opphold på Casa Cristina. Stort, nydelig rom med to franske balkonger, perfekt beliggenhet i smørøyet av Ortigia. Man må til gjengjeld tåle en del trafikkstøy. Dobbeltsengen kan omgjøres til to enkeltsenger, det er heis og tilgang til kjøleskap, kaffe og te, etc.

ロケーションは最高です。駅から（ちょっと遠いが）荷物を引いて歩ける距離で、オルティージャの入り口近く。アポロ神殿が目の前で、市場もレストラン街もすぐです。オーナー夫妻も親切で手入れも行き届いています。冷蔵庫、キッチンは使えるし朝食も出ます。コーヒーは手で入れなきゃいけないけど、不満はありません。B&Bの水準を超えるサービスではありますが、ホテルを期待すると少し困るでしょう。フロントないし、スイッチ探してつけないと夜は真っ暗だし。チェックイン前に一度、連絡したほうが無難です。でも、新市街や駅付近は滞在地域としてはちょっと勧められず、素晴らしい観光地でありながら宿泊施設の乏しいシラクサではよい選択だと思います。

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per un fine settimana. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il proprietario è molto cordiale, l'hotel si trova sull'isola di Ortigia, quindi proprio nel cuore di Siracusa. Basta uscire dalla struttura e già ci si trova in centro. La stanza era pulita e i letti comodi. Buona scelta
