The pool is in need of serious repairs. The air took a long time to cool down. I let the lady at the front desk know but she said it was because it was hot outside. The restaurant was closed. Not a resort.

The property is close to town, convenient. about 15 min drive to Manuel Antonio. The staff are very helpful and kind. But the facility itself is too old. The room has no sound insulation. you can hear next door even if they whisper. I had to knock on the neighbor's door and asked them to be quiet at night. The bathroom shower needs to be updated with better ventilation. overall it's okay.

Property looked like a motel , but we were pleasantly surprised, it was a cool property, well maintained, clean pool, decent restaurant, clean room, good air conditioner, solid shower, we were a group of 15, we enjoyed the stay. Only drawback is distance to Antonio park/restaurants, taxi was coating us $15 round trip, which is negligible

Overall we liked the hotel very much. Thank you.

The facility is somewhat outdated from the outside (and inside, the shower room, which was not well sealed at the bottom so that water came out to the floor as we showered) so initially we were a bit worried, but the rooms are kept very clean. We booked two rooms (two twin beds each) which are connected through a kitchen, which made it very convenient for us.

The best part is people working. The front desk is open 8 am-8 pm with a very nice receptionist. The people at the restaurant are also super nice. Also, the level of housekeeping was excellent.

The restaurant near the pool is also very nice. Its covered outside location is very comfortable. Breakfast was included with the stay and had options of \"typical food (Costa Rican breakfast)\" and \"continental\". We had dinner there as well, and they should be proud of the quality of pizza. It is high quality and delicious.

We did not use the pool but it was kept clean and lots of kids and adults were in there enjoying.

If we were to have a request, the air freshener (?) or some sort of fragrance in the room was a bit strong. It may have something to do with the previous guest. It was not strong enough to give us a headache but it would have been nice to make it a bit weaker (or zero. I did not notice any hint of bad smell)

Near the hotel is a chocolate tour, guided by Gregory. It is amazing.

We (3 Canadians) booked this Hotel in the evening (on our drive from Monteverde Cloud Forest) to Quepos. We arrived closer to 9pm, the lady in reception was very friendly, gave us some extra towels for the pool (a beautiful pool), we requested for beer (around 10pm) while relaxing in the pool, the staff was very accommodating. We had to start early since the plan to hike in Manuel Antonio Park (a 10 mts drive from this location), the breakfast again was really good...opt for local or typical whenever you get a chance (to taste the local cuisine). In short, highly recommended and I'll definitely come back to this location!!!

The property looks nothing like the pictures, definitely older and not kept up. The room was very small, no fridge, no microwave, only beds and shower. It did not feel clean to me. The property looks old as well. The beds only had sheets and because it was so warm we had to sleep with the A/C on. My kids were cold the first night and we asked for blankets to which we were told they did not have because they were not used in this area of Costa Rica. It is father than we thought from Manuel Antonio, 15 minute drive. Not worth what we paid!

Loved our stay here! It was nice and clean, the staff was friendly, the facilities were gorgeous. Plus, it was in close proximity to Manuel Antonio! Only 10 min to local restaurants and 15 min to the park!

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great. I did not like that there were no dressers with drawers and I prefer having a room with a small refrigerator. Had to bring ice into the room in order to keep drinks cold.

Broken sink, water ceiping thru ceiling when thete is heavy rain, toilet has calcium build up. Need refurbishment very very old. It is 25 minute ride to airport.

Nice hotel!

Nice hotel just 5 minutes from Quepos!
Rooms are comfortable and have a big shower.
The hotel is spacious and the breakfast is nice.

Not bad, but not great..

After reading reviews and seeing travelers pictures we did not expect much and considering we were coming at the busiest time (Christmas) we knew we would be overpaying for any types of accommodation regardless of the stars due to limited availability.. Don’t get me wrong – it was OK: the room, although basic (no fridge, no chairs), was spacious and clean-ish, decent breakfast was included, air conditioner was great, parking was convenient and plentiful, staff was friendly. But I couldn’t shake off the constant thought that it was overpriced for what it was (and especially for what we paid) And we are not high maintenance when it comes to travel style! Also the resort was pretty much empty with only few occupied rooms the whole time we were there – 3 nights. Although set in a lovely surroundings with beautiful nature the resort had a tired appearance wherever you look.
The location is wonderful if you have a car (actually you have to have a car if you decide to stay here as there is nothing within walking distance) and we loved the secluded feeling, especially when sitting on the patio that faced the jungle.

It’s an OK choice if all you need is a basic and clean room AND you are not paying too much otherwise try somewhere else.

Decent hotel but pricey

The hotel is very close to Quepos downtown and that was very convenient. Room was spacious with a good balcony. Bathroom was decent enough. The bathroom shower though did not have good water pressure and the water would suddenly turn cold or hot every few seconds. The AC started dripping water on the room and some on the bed. The safe inside the room did not work. The maids did a decent job but they never refilled the soap in the dispenser the 3 days we stayed in this hotel. Soap ran out the last day and we had to manage with some hand soap. Having to worry about little things like these is not fun. The owner seemed friendly at times and hostile other times. She kept saying that we need to tip the maids to the point of being annoying. I understand tipping but her constant repetition made it seem like she is demanding it irrespective of whether the job was done to our satisfaction or not. We stayed in multiple hotels in Costa Rica and other places and nowhere did the owner demand tips for the maids. Breakfast was good and the lady serving breakfast is nice and friendly. Breakfast is served at 7:00 am every day. On the third day we had to leave the hotel to catch our flight from San Jose. We wanted to get an early start and the breakfast lady was nice enough to agree to get breakfast ready 10 minutes earlier than 7. But the owner was not too happy about that. She was grumpy even and did not give us the full breakfast that they normally gave.

A great family experience.

The owner was always available and ready to help. We stayed here 3 nights and had a lot of fun. It's 5 mins away from quepos and $15 away from Manuel Antonio. Highly recommended..A quick about out to Victoria and Adriana..

Good hotel for those who enjoy a quieter location, a bit off the beaten path. Lovely gardens and an attentive staff who put in extra effort to help with our trip planning and getting around the area. Nice breakfast, but could have used some other options during our stay...at least a bit of fresh fruit in addition to the typical breakfast of eggs and beans and rice. All in all, a good home base for a family trip.

No hot water, hard to find because of hotel changed names. No safe in room, close to road and therefore noisy. Despite the fact that there were many empty rooms the staff put a loud and noisy couple with crying baby right next to my room after midnight. Not very thoughtful or considered. Go somewhere else for the price they charge!

Family friendly resort with accommodating staff

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Our room included a comfortable king-sized bed, TV with cable, microwave, refrigerator, ceiling fan and AC. The shower was large with good hot water. Everything was very clean when we arrived, although we did have to flush a few small centipedes later on (common in Costa Rica). Two large towels and one hand towel was provided. There were no additional pool towels, although you can ask always ask for more towels.
We visited on Jan 1-2, so the pool was very crowded with families when we arrived and the area was noisy. The pool quieted down after dinner time however- it is open 24 hours/day. The open-air restaurant adjoins the pool and is very casual. Our included breakfast of comida tipica was pretty good and the service was excellent. There is also the option of a continental breakfast instead.
Aaron at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. We were planning on visiting Manual Antonio Park on our check-out day and he was nice enough to store our luggage for us at the front desk all day.
The hotel is not next to any restaurants or shops. It is a US$4 taxi ride into the town of Quepos. The taxi to Manual Antonio National Park cost us US$11.
The grounds of the hotel are pretty and the rooms are nicely spaced in groups of two. However, there is traffic noise from the main road and it is noisy quite late in the evening.

Hôtel bien entretenu et propre.
Environnement calme.
Beaucoup d’oiseaux et végétation.
Parking devant l’hôtel gratuit.
Personnel très sympa.
Chambre et salle de douche spacieuse.
Literie confortable.
Climatisation ok.
Grande piscine avec transat.
Bon petit déjeuner local à partir de 7h30.
Pizza et pâtes au restaurant de l’hôtel très bonne.

A améliorer :
Enlever le calcaire sur la robinetterie.
Proposer des serviettes pour la piscine.
Avoir une fenêtre qui se ferme dans la douche car la climatisation a l’arrière de la chambre est bruyante.

Parc Manuel Antonio à 20 mn en voiture.
Réserver entrée sur leur site internet a minima la veille, créneau de 7h ou 8h recommandé car après il fait très chaud. Se garer dans le parking officiel qui est juste à côté de l’entrée : 4000 colons la place. Vu beaucoup d’animaux. Beaucoup de touriste mais possibilité de s’en éloigner. Très belles plages. Pas de bouteille en plastique, ni nourriture accepté dans le parc.
