We enjoyed our stay! This hotel lived up to the reviews and photos. Rooms were basic and very clean. The pool was nice, surrounded by lovely plants and flowers. The hotel itself seems new and also very clean. The design throughout the hotel was cohesive and nice. The location was perfect - just a short walk off the main road and right by a bus stop. We had a rental car, but the parking situation in Manuel Antonio made it much easier to just hop on the public bus and quickly go wherever. We saw a few monkeys right outside the hotel! The restaurant was good - a convenient option for a meal or quick poolside snack or drink. Staff were friendly. We were traveling with an infant. The only downside of the hotel was that it was easy to hear through the rooms. With only 16 rooms, we worried we would disturb other guests.

The National Park was 4 minutes away. It's at the top of the mountain.
Views from the restaurants that are close by are spectacular. Great food all around hand at the hotel.

Amazing place to stay in Manuel Antonio! The staff were so sweet! Amazing free breakfasts! Amazing and cheap food and drinks by the pool, in the restaurant or taken right to your room! Spacious room, comfy beds, Netflix on the TV, beautiful shower! This was a 10/10 experience! I cant say enough good things about this hotel!

Darlene “Dar” was #1 at check in and on check out. She keeps the hotel rolling!!
At breakfast we chose a different 1-4 options each morning to see the difference. Each one was great, if I had to choose I’d select the pancakes with scrambled eggs. Room was always clean each day when we returned from our daily venture. Dont miss the happy hr by the pool in the garden from 4-6.

Fantastic staff, great breakfast. The room was clean, bed is comfortable and very spacious with a great location. There’s walkable restaurants and tons of excursions that will pick you up right at the hotel. I even saw a monkey, which was one of the best highlights of my trip to Costa Rica.

This is a modern hotel with huge rooms. Very comfortable. The closet is in the bathroom which is an interesting peculiarity considering that the living and sleeping area could easily have accommodated it. Safe works. The flora is austanding. Breakfast is good. Plenty of tasty coffee and tea. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Less than a dozen parking spots for The entire hotel. Hard to park as there is badly any place to maneuver. Only one two-seater sofa in the lobby.No complimentary coffee. Small congested room. 3 people were packed into this room. No coffee or dining table in the room. No coffee maker, microwave or mini fridge in the room. No cupboard with door. No place to put down luggage. Only one room key for 3 people which has to be inserted into a slot in the room to maintain electricity supply to the room. This does not allow people to come and go separately. No exhaust in the bathroom. A retractable line is available that can be drawn across the shower area to have clothes to dry. This makes it hard to take a shower once the clothes are hung.

Hotel Naoz is really cute. It feels like your own secluded paradise. The road that it is located on was hard to find initially but we settled in quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady that cooks breakfast was spot on every morning. I really couldn't believe how perfectly she cooked our breakfasts. We stayed on the second floor, which is only accessible by stairs. It also happened to be right above the kitchen, which was loud each morning. They did have a water outage while we were there. It lasted half of the day and was pretty inconvenient. Overall we liked the property and would book it again.

The property was experiencing a water shut off. Which can happen, but the hotel didn't offer water or anything else as compensation. Only when I asked did we receive water to brush our teeth. Also, the r[ooms only have windows facing the connecting walk way. The accoustics are not great but OK

Pros: Property was clean and well kept. Staff at the hotel were great, friendly and breakfast provided was good. There is a public bus stop at the end of the road if you want to take the bus anywhere. We took the bus back from Manuel Antonio Park, very easy - just get out at the soccer field stop. There are many restaurants walking distance from the hotel at various price ranges. Also grocery store nearby for snacks or beverages. We stayed in the 2 rooms with 2 double beds. Great if you are 2 families or a small group of 4 to 8 people and want to stay in adjacent rooms, but not connected. They are alone on the top floor with nice balconies overlooking the pool. Rooms we had were very spacious, quiet and beds were comfortable. One room had a small dining table which we used to play cards at night. Very handy.

Small cons: very limited seating around the pool, only 6 loungers. Didn't bother us since we were out and about all of the time and when we were at the pool, we were IN the pool, not on the loungers. If you are a light sleeper, or want to sleep in, the rooms we had were above the kitchen/dining area so you might hear noise. Again, we were up early each morning as we had activities planned so that did not bother us at all.

FYI: They don’t tell you at the beginning when you check in but you must return all keys when you checkout or you will get charged $20 US per key.
Towels are $40 US or they will charge you so make sure you count the towels and make sure to return them. We found out when we were checking out!
Now the hotel itself it’s a beautiful place, Our booking included breakfast which which was great The service personnel in the restaurant were very kind.
Cleaning crew were super nice and very lovely people.
The ladies at reception were nice as well, except the men, very rude.
They do have laundry service at reasonable prices and return them the same day so very convenient!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Naoz. The food and drinks were fantastic, especially the mojitos made with fresh ingredients. Everything was incredibly fresh and although it took a little time because it was all made from scratch, it was definitely worth the wait. The free breakfast was a great bonus. Our room was spacious and always clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I would stay at Hotel Naoz again! Thank you!

Beautiful and spacious room. Front desk ladies were very helpful and nice, answered all our questions very quickly. I even messaged on what’s up from the beach the hotel to ask them what the bus options are for returning back to the hotel and i got a response within 1 minute. The hotel itself is about 2 miles from the beach so not walking distance but it’s very clean and quiet, I would stay there again if visiting.

Excellent stay, the room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed and large rainfall shower. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was tasty. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool as I only stayed for one night. There is plenty of parking and it’s a short drive to the beach. Overall a great stay and a hidden gem. Thank you.

Top notch service from Dixiela, Amy, Richard, Alajandra, and Darlene and all other staff were EXCELLENT!! Helpful, friendly, professional and just all around amazing! They were so quick to help us with all requests including a special couples massage in our room and later a complimentary champagne toast for our honeymoon. They provided great information for visiting the area too. We enjoyed quick bites during happy hour and delicious fish and shrimp tacos for lunch. It would be hard to mention all but special mention to Richard and Dixiana. They also accommodated the needs of our daughter with autism. Bus is walking distance, which we rode to Manuel Antonio National Park, better than driving. Food and supermarket walkable. Great experience! Blessing that we booked this.

I loved it!!!!! I loved that the hotel was so open with everything centered around the courtyard. The staff were incredibly kind, pleasant, and helpful. I really appreciated the escort to my room on the first day and having the TV and air conditioning remotes pointed out. That was a nice touch to be walked into my room.

Mini bar was not working so we lost our food - they tried to fixed but… room was nice but felt clustered- no chairs or table in the room so only 2 beds ans a night table so a bit tight for 4 people although the room was big - maybe they can work the configuration. Wonderful find!

This was an amazing find! The hotel is part inside and part outside with beautiful surroundings! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! They served a wonderful breakfast, to order, at your table overlooking the beautiful gardens. It rained a lot while we were there, so they let us borrow an umbrella for the day. The room was immaculate and so quiet! We loved our stay and will be back.

Excellent place - but don't use their laundry !

I would have given them a 5 star but the thing that really irked me is that initially when I asked about using their laundry, they told me that people used the bathroom sink (it is very large) and then used those hanger wires in the shower to dry.
So, I did that but when I went to pull out the wires they both were broken, so I had a bunch of wet laundry ! I went back to the front desk and was told they would do my laundry for $7 per kilo (2.2lbs). I said that would be great except that my WET laundry was going to weigh is pretty heavy (2 pairs of shorts, 3 pairs of underwear & 3 shirts). She told me not to worry they would weigh it after they dried it. So I dropped it and went back the next day to retrieve it, well they had it marked as being 3 kilos (nearly 7 lbs) - I disputed this and told the girl what I said and what I was told, but she said she could not do anything. I paid for the 3 kilos but it just bugged me that the stuff I dropped off may have weighed in at 2 - 3 lbs tops.
Everything else was great.
