Property is in great location , easy access to all attractions but not in a noisy area so you can still relax.
Staff are amazingly helpful and very accommodating.
Property is a bit tired and needs a little love however we had a fantastic time here.
We had room 701 on the top floor and the terrace was great.
All in all a great budget option in the perfect location.

A very comfortable, and remarkably quiet oasis amongst the busy streets of the Old Quarter in Hanoi.
The staff were AMAZING, so hospitable, kind and caring.
The location was excellent with so many restaurants, spas and coffee shops within very close proximity.

Me and my family recently stayed at Lotus Boutique Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and created a comfortable experience. The room we stayed in was good —well-appointed, clean, and with the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They provided us with maps, recommended some fantastic local restaurants and gave us some tips for the area. The location of the hotel was great, we were near many great landmarks and the market.

The location of the hotel is great to discover Hanoi by feet. The staff is great, especially Angela.
She supported us with recommendations for food and sights. Helped us with a map,

It is very strategically placed , everything is within walking distance. The rooms are very aesthetically and thematically designed. They may be a little small but have everything that’s needed for a comfortable stay. The staff is so so so amazing, the most warm set of staff I have ever met in all of my travelling history. They are very helpful, considerate, conscious. The lovely tea served at the reception not just when you check in but anytime you sit there is tasty and calming. The staff has been trained very well and they know their jobs right. Had the most wonderful time in Lotus Boutique and I would love to stay here again if the opportunity arose again.

The hospitality at Lotus boutique Hotel was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warmth and welcome of the staff. Angela, one of the receptionists, gave me an excellent introduction to the area and a guide to local places of interest which was a great source of help for planning my time. The hotel staff were always there to assist, checking in with my plans, and helping me check the opening times of places I wanted to visit.

The staff where incredibly helpful and friendly. Especially as a solo traveler! They called before I even got to Vietnam, they helped with arranging their driver service from the airport and back. They gave advice on where to go, and showed where all of the tourist attractions were in the area. They also even let me use their plug socket adapter, which was incredibly useful. And everyone who worked in the hotel were really nice, friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in the old quarter, in a strategic position. The rooms are very nice maybe only slightly small. But the outstanding thing is the staff! We had a problem with our luggage and they helped us in every possible way to solve our problem. A care and thoughtfulness that we have never seen.

There were fly traps in the hall, only one bed when we requested 2, no mini bar, spa, or restaurant as advertised. Moldy and mildew smell, water heater was coming out of the ceiling above shower. Gnats flying all around room. Only one towel. Fridge didn’t work. We checked out 3nights early (after first night) and were offered refund or different room which we would not have taken anyway. This was bait and switch hotel. Much better out there.

Beware, the pictures of this property do not represent the actual condition. The building is old, rundown and in desperate need of a major rehabilitation.
Thankfully we viewed the room we booked before paying, it was dilapidated, moldy and dirty. We decided at that point to look for something else, the desk person didn’t seemed the least bit surprised as if it happens frequently. He was very helpful and considerate which we appreciated as it was already late in the evening. I truly don’t understand how they have the ratings that they do!

Great location just next to Old Town and Hoan Kiem lake. Could not ask for a better location to explore Hanoi on foot for 2 days. Best of all was the staff. Everybody was so friendly including the reception and the kitchen/restaurant staff who all made sure we had a Pleasant comfortable stay. Angela went out of her way to arrange a great 3D/2N tour for our family to Ninh Bình and Halong Bay.

We had the most amazing stay at Lotus Boutique Hotel Hanoi. From the moment we step through the doors of the hotel we felt welcome and comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. It was our first time in Hanoi and the staff was very helpful in regards to answering all of our thousands questions, helping with bookings and providing guidance about where to go and what we should visit during our stay.
We had a less present experience at another hotel, and, thus, decided to stop by Lotus Boutique to see if it was possible to book a new room with them for the night. It surely was and they once again welcomed us with open arms.
Everyone from the staff were very friendly and humble, but especially Angela stood out as exceptionally kind and helpful! Thank you!

I book by looking at Expedia.com reviews. Also I took airport pick up service from them It took about 2 hours to complete the long immigration and the driver waited without any disturbance. When I checked in there was someone at the reception, named Angela. I have traveled to about 8 countries, but I have never met anyone as polite, friendly and helpful as her. She briefed me on each topic for about 10 minutes. My check out was at 6 am. She also packed breakfast for me. I will never forget the wonderful hospitality. I am impressed with the love, behavior of Vietnamese people, I will come again.

The staff really tries to upscale the experience. They were helpful to us in two situations. I needed a battery that I couldn't find myself in the area. The receptionist made one phone call, and an hour later the battery was ready for pickup. A small thing, but helpful when you're in a foreign city. They also helped us on our departure day. So the staff prepared packages for us: sandwiches, eggs, and drinks. Very nice of them!

The rooms are beautiful, we got lucky with a huge balcony with a nice view. We'd love to return there!
