We stayed for few days and we received an amazing attention from the staff, in particular with Lee who constantly helped us to find the best choices, recommending places, booking transportation for us. She stayed in contact with us and followed up closely, even when our flight was cancelled due to the conflict in Middle East she was communicating with us making sure we arrived safe at home. We had a wonderful stay at JM Marvel Hotel & Spa. Right from when we arrived, we were treated as First Class guests.
Mai Linh and her associates were awesome and genuinely appreciated that we chose to stay at JM Marvel.
We will highly recommend anyone visiting Hanoi to stay at this hotel as it is a nice small boutique hotel that is located centrally in the Old Quarter.
We are going to tell our friends to book here too.

The staff here is AMAZING. They welcomed us with tea and a list of great restaurants nearby. They brought our bags up the stairs and into the room, and texted me on WhatsApp just to see if we needed anything at all. Breakfast was great, and the rooftop bar is gorgeous. Upon check out, the bell hop even walked our suitcases to our NEXT HOTEL for us! Truly, a fantastic place to stay. 5 stars.
Just a heads up, all of the services offered by the hotel are cash only.

The only negative was that you can hear other rooms I.e. the shower in general it was fine but we had guests who were showering at 5am and it would wake us up.

We were only in Hanoi for a short stay, but the hotel’s convenient location made it incredibly easy to see everything on our list. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always eager to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our trip was an early tour morning when we came down to find a prepared breakfast waiting for us—complete with sweet, personalized notes. JM Marvel was such a good find and I would recommend anybody coming to Hanoi to stay here. For starters the location is perfect- the most we walked was 16minutes from the hotel and we were able to try various restaurants, shop, and visit some of the notorious tourist must-do’s, such as train street. The property has gorgeous modern decor and felt like any 5 star hotel you would find in America. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a rock every night. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelled so incredible that I took the leftovers with me. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day, including fresh juice, lattes, and a variety of local and foreign breakfast options. The roof top bar had immaculate vibes, a great view and fun creative cocktails that would cost $18+ USD for only 239,000vnd ($9), as well as other, just as good, cheaper, classic cocktails. During my stay, I indulged in the best spa treatment I have gotten in my life. The lady that provided my treatment was committed to making my experience relaxing and rejuvenating. Last but CERTAINLY not least, the staff. From the time we stepped on the property, to the time we boarded the bus on our way to our next destination, all of our needs were anticipated and exceptionally cared for. From the concierge, to the restaurants, and the housekeeping staff, there was always a person ready to help you while maintaining the perfect balance of not bothering you. I usually don't write reviews but this was spectacular

Very nice boutique hotel

We stayed for 3 nights. Location is great. Seems to be in the middle of the old Vietnamese quarters. There are many alleys and streets all around the neighborhood to enjoy. If you are okay with Vietnamese style (sit small chairs and tables) there are numerous restaurants. You would have to get a taxi /grab for other places such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Our room faced the street but it was not noisy at night. Room is nicely decorated, and staff are very friendly and helpful. We got a car back through the hotel (check out was 5am)but they offered to have something prepared for breakfast.
I would definitely go back there again.

Also, someone was moving furniture gor hours my last night there, which was really annoying as I was trying to rest. Overall, it's a nice hotel that I would definitely consider staying again.

Best experience of any hotel or resort we have ever experienced. First class service worth a smile. The hotel staff, from the Bell Hops, to the Front Desk, to the Room Attendants, to the Spa Staff, to the Kitchen Staff, all approached their duties with such enthusiasm and sincerity. They were professional yet warm.

My husband and I both celebrated our birthdays during our stay. They arranged special birthday celebrations for each of us. They made us feel like family.

Our king-sized suite with a street view balcony was just like their photos. The bed was so welcoming and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and never seemed to run out of hot water. It was nice to have bottled water included each day. The decor was beautiful and elegant. We did not want for anything.

The location was excellent: in the Old Quarter, but not on a busy street. All attractions were walkable.

If you ever find yourself wanting to visit an Asian country, We would highly recommend you look to come to Vietnam. Make Hanoi your first stop. We did it for 10 days and loved it. We also recommend you stay at JM MARVEL HOTEL AND SPAR RESORT in the Old Quartet. You will love it.

We had a fabulous creative dinner at affordable prices and the breakfast is great in the morning. We had an incredible stay at JM Marvel in Hanoi! The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. I had mentioned in passing that my partner was feeling unwell and checked in with us throughout if she needed anything—such a thoughtful touch.

Ny who was our main contact point was amazing. He was super communicative and went out of his way to help us explore the city, giving us great recommendations and even helping us book a vehicle to get to the airport. It made everything so much easier and stress-free.

I wish I remembered everyone's names.. but Ny's male colleague with the glasses was also a very helpful person. I also appreciated the kind young women in the morning who were attentive and asking us if we needed anything on the way out of the hotel in the morning.

This level of care and attention to detail is what sets JM Marvel apart. I can't say enough, highly recommend staying here if you want exceptional service in Hanoi! My partner and I can't really imagine staying anywhere else here.

I don't really do reviews but if I do it. You know you made it. JM Marvel Hotel & Spa you live up to your name Marvel.

I chanced upon JM Marvel Hotel & Spa when doing my planning for my family (3pax) Christmas short break and to celebrate the siblings Birthdays (2 days apart). We only asked for being central and convenient to save transport cost and unnecessary walking. You know what? The hotels gives you more than what we budgeted for.

On arrival Jayce and his team, welcomed us with a mini-tea ceremony and we were treated as celebrities. Our family enjoyed the fruit tea and local sweet treats.

We were given a hotel tour so we are familiar with our surroundings and the amenities we can enjoy for what we paid.

The rooms were yes smaller than what we are used to for a family room. But this is where the intimacy comes in. Small is Luxury. We got to be much closer.

Asking for direction is a breeze. No head scratching because Jayce and his team speaks excellent English. Ask them to draw you a map if you are still unsure.

In my trips, I go as close to the local communities as possible. So, Jayce and his team gave me genuine recommendation and advise.

This is a feedback not a complain. 2 things that needs management re-looking are:-

1. Sound Proofing - You can hear what the neighbours conversation are. This especially true if they speak loudly and slam doors.

2. Next Room Design - Family Rooms MUST have windows to look outside for Sunshine.

The staff was super helpful. Jayce went out of his way to make sure we had excellent time. He offered info about destination and local food. All of recommendations we wonderful and greatly added to our vacation.

Excellent service, location. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The room was very clean, spacious with many amenities. The balcony was big with spectacular views of the city. Breakfast had a big spread of local and western food. I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers to Ha Noi.

Excellent Hotel & Location

If you are venturing to Hanoi you would definitely not be disappointed staying at JM Marvel Hotel & Spa. After making my booking I contacted the hotel and they arranged collection and return to the airport which was excellent. Arriving at the hotel you are made to feel like royalty and that you are the only guests in the hotel. The staff are fabulous.

We had 2 rooms at the hotel (2 separate stays) and each was extremely comfortable and clean.

The roof top bar serves excellent food and the views are very nice in the evening.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Mattress and pillows very comfortable. Knowledge and friendly staff. Aways attentive. Ms. Ny and Bui were always very attentive. Ms. Nguyen, fromt office manager, went above her duties in helping us book a flight to Da Nang. When we return to Hanoi, will definitely stay here.

Such a great hotel and very friendly staff, esp Pineapple (Thom). They also were soo helpful, it was so easy to book our transportation esp when we arrived and gave us the best tour to Ninh Binh! The spa treatment was tge best, esp from my service with Kim! Loved staying here and really grateful that we chose this hotel.
