The location was perfect!
We had a lovely stay only not long enough. The hotel concierge are very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to support our needs.
The room itself was ok, we had blankets that didn’t quite fit the entire bed, but we made it work and were very comfortable. Wish we had booked for longer as it was the perfect starting point to seeing the old quarter of Hanoi.

Although the appearance of the area immediately around the property is not exactly what you would like, it is a typical market place right in the midst of the main places. Our stay was nice and was made comfortable by the very accommodating and helpful staff.

So for the price (about $20/night) this one stands at a five star hidden gem. It checks all the boxes, with train street location that is ideal and a short walk to St Joesph Cathedral. The staff is also ideal, running an excursion desk that has you covered for all your travel needs.

I have stayed here before and will continue to do so the next time I’m in Hanoi.

The rooms are not very clean at all. I wouldn't mind staying in an old, outdated property so long as it were clean. We had ants in the room, the bathrooms had mold, the shower drains do not work, the shower door was broken. I regret staying here.

This hotel does not deserve even 2 star. The staffs were helpful but hotel was very old. It needs to be renovated. The room was not clean enough. They sell the room with window but without sun light and air. That kind room has to include more explanation but there wasn't any info when I reserve it. I have claustrophobia. That's why I reserved a room with window but I didn't know that window was just opposite of wall and there was only 30 cm between wall and window. That night was a nightmare because there was not availibility for the room with real window for two nights. The other night I went to cruise trip to not to stay that room again.

Great place close to old quarter

We’ve stayed here 3 nights in total and the hotel is great value for money. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast has several options and is fresh and tasty. Hotel kindly kept our bags while we went on an overnight trip to halong bay.

Good choice for this part of Hanoi

Decent cheaper end of the scale hotel. Comfy bed, but layout a bit awkward. Clear window in the shower was a bit weird (had to use towels to cover), sound proofing not the best, but breakfast was good.

Budget and wonderful stay

We stay a total of 8 nights at Hanoi Pho. For that budget price, we got a international breakfast every morning. Thumb up for this. Many four stars hotel cannot compare to Hanoi Pho on cleanliness of bathroom and beds. Location is walking distance to everywhere at the old quarter. Local food plentuful too. Get to mix with the local people too. Stay here you won't go wrong. Small concern matter is just the drainage at the bath area. Bearable too.

Very very comfortable hotel. It was probably the best one I stayed can in during my multi city vacation. I got the VIP welcome upon checking in. Furnishings are new with a nice view of local life outside. I enjoyed coming back to the room and relaxing in there. Breakfast buffett was good. Hotel also has a tour agency inside if you're interested. At first, it's hard to find it if you're new to Hanoi. I walked through the busy narrow sidewalks with my suitcase but eventually found it.

This is a very nice clean hotel! Very good location close to shopping and everything you could possibly need or want to see. Very good breakfast! Friendly and accommodating staff. I especially appreciated Anne and Annie at the reception desk.

The place is very nice for it's price. The room is small but nice and perfect for solo traveller however the design with glass walls in the bathroom might be a problem for a couple or friends. Breakfast is on seventh floor so you can enjoy beautiful view all over the city from the terrace. Walls are pretty thin so you can hear everything that's going on outside so if you sensitive to noise - bring earplugs with you. Location is very central and really close to everything.

Room is very small. Bathroom is not drained well enough during the shower which causing water overflown. We noticed that the bed sheet never changed during our stay 5 nights even there was some strains on it. Other parts were fine. Staffs were nice. It's ok to stay overnight but not for long stay.

It was a really good hotel for the price been. They have everything necessary and it was super clean. Breakfast was good and services was excellent... Jerry was about and behind to help me to book the tours I wanted. The safe my luggage while I went to Halong Bay and cat ba island and Sapa.
I stayed there every time I came back from other places. The market is right next to it and the night life an lake is about 1/2 mile from hotel. I walk at night alone and it was safe, a little dark after 10pm, but still safe!

We rent a room just for shower waiting for a train to sapa. The hotel itself is nice, staffs seem to be friendly and helpful. But the wall is too thin, you can hear the neighbor talking and do their own activities.

到着時にタオルがない、フロントにその場で対応してもらいました。毎日のベッドメイキングもない。フェイスタオルはもともとないし、バスタオルも言わないと替えてくれない。フロントの人は愛想はよく挨拶もきちんとしてくれるがホテルとしての対応はイマチイ。部屋は広くて掃除さえしてくれていたら悪くないですが、エアコンは冷房しかなくこの時期の朝方は冷えるので毛布を追加する等の対策はとった方がいいですね。

Nette kamer met airconditioning. Raam (zonder uitzicht, maar wel klein neetje natuurlijk licht. Geen schimmel, in vergelijking met ons vorig hotel. Afwerking van de kamers kan wel beter, maar alles was proper, dus oké voor ons. De receptionist was vriendelijk en hielp ons aan een taxi naar Ha long bay.

旧市街を散策するならロケーションの利便性はよい。
建物のネオンが消えており、深夜のチェックインは不安だったが、問題なく対応してもらった。
