The check in process went very smooth. The gentleman at the front desk, was polite, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He provided recommendations and scheduled our airport transfers on check out day, that was helpful. The hotel was nice and clean. My room was clea, cute and quaint with all amenties. The breakfast was the highlight of my stay! Everything was fresh and made to order, the chef did a great job. Leotus, was very plesant and accomdating. She made our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel, it's in the center of everything in Hanoi Old Quarter. I felt safe walking throughout the area and didn’t feel pressured to make purchases.

Customer Service is excellent and value for money!
Although, breakfast needs improvement but what you paid is what you get. Their daily cleaning policy makes your room feel fresh everyday. I highly recommend this hotel especially to those who wants to be near from most of Hanoi’s landmarks.

This hotel is right in the Old Quarter and very convenient to get around. The staff are very sweet and helpful with good English.
The rooms are as we expected. Beds are firm as normal in SE Asia and rooms are comfortable. I had an issue with the shower flooding the first night and was given soiled towels to mop up the water! Not a great start. Breakfast was adequate with eggs cooked to order- fruit and toast were also available. We had to keep asking for more plates which was strange.
Note that the lift goes up to the 6th floor only, so if you’re on floor 7 or 8 you have to carry suitcases up flights of stairs.

The front desk staff we incredibly helpful and nice. After I mentioned my allergy and that I would just have some fruit for breakfast, one front desk girl went across the street to buy some yogurt so that I would have something to eating in the morning. The staff is the main thing that made this hotel better than the others.

The night manager gave a house guest the master key to get into their room. The drunk house guest then tried to get into my room at 4am thinking it was their room. Unbelievably the night manager didn't ask what room they were staying in or accompany the gust to the room ! Absolutely astonishing.

Hotel is in any case very grubby. Very run down. The walls are dirty and need to be painted. The bed was the worst I have slept in. Sagging in the middle and lumpy. Clearly the cheapest mattress they could find probably.

Checked into another (cheaper) hotel for the next night which was 10 times better !

Probably the worst hotel experience in 30 years of travel.

A stay in Hanoi La Castela Hotel is like a home away from home. We loved how we were made to feel welcome by the manager Tommy and his whole team of service crew carries an excellent attitude and was well confident to attend to our needs and request. They were very warm hearted people and big on small details..we enjoyed our breakfast time as we received food cook to our requests...hot and tasty. They were also very helpful in giving us shopping tips and where to find good food. We are certainly glad to have pick this hotel for our 4 nights stay

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful when we checked in the hotel. The room is big enough for 3 adults too. When we found the bathtub was broken, the receptionist came for us immediately and prepared another room. They don't have hair conditioner as an amenity but other things they have such as toothbrush, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, bathrobe and minibar.

Good Hotel in the Old Quarter

This hotel has a great location. Right smack in the thick of the Old Quarter. We stayed twice, with an overnight tour to Ha Long bay in the middle. The rooms are a decent size, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great. You can order as much as you would like, and eggs to your liking. There are also some Vietnamese options. In terms of dining options, there are several good restaurants within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes). As for the hotel staff, they are really attentive to your needs. They are friendly and helpful, and speak good English.

Five stars doesn't do justice to the service!!!

How many times do you leave a hotel and feel like you're leaving behind your good friends? The La Castela left us feeling like that. From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed like family by Tommy, the hotel manager, and the rest of the staff.

The rooms are well apportioned, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and wonderful spread of complementary snacks. The rest of the hotel is very well maintained. The breakfast is wonderful, and my entire family enjoyed our morning meals with the hospitality of the staff. The price was very reasonable and the location was excellent.

But it is the staff that sets this hotel apart. They were extremely attentive to our every need, willing to go out of the way to make our stay feel as if we were at home. They took the time to explain the nearby sites, offers guidance, discussed prices, and were very helpful. The entire staff were able to address us by name throughout our stay, and that is just a testament to their dedication to service. Both my wife and mother-in-law speak Vietnamese fluently, but they also appreciated the help and guidance as we were not familiar with Hanoi. They were immediately responsive to any requests, and I cannot simply imagine anything that could have been improved about our stay. If we return to Hanoi, this is where we will always stay.

We had 3 people staying in 3 separate rooms, which were upgraded to Jnr Suites at no charge due to another party cancellation.

I stayed at this place with my friend for 3 nights and I have nothing but praises for all aspects of this hotel. The rooms were clean. Location was perfect with most of the tourist and foodie spots in close proximity. Food was great - their spring rolls are a must try! To top it all off, service is awesome. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. They are always willing to go above and beyond.

I truly had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hanoi.

La Castela is a cozy little place with very attentive staff. They have 24-7 frontdesk and travel info service which is super helpful. Rooms are not large but very tidy. Breakfast served by order is also to the perfection.
The only small issue is the traffic in the neighborhood. If you are OK with the crowd of old quarter, La Castela should be a good choice.

Great little hotel. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious and clean. There is nothing the hotel staff will not do for you. The girls would even make a delicious ginger tea for us when we got back from our outings and bring it to our rooms!
Very gracious and happy people. Even left us sweet messages on our beds and on out breakfast plates! I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

A hidden Gem in the Heart of Old Hanoi

A hidden Gem in the Heart of Hanoi. My wife and I chose the Hotel’s Limo service ($19) for the 40 minute, no hassle drive in a private van. The Driver was waiting for us with a named placard right outside the arrival gate. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted outside, offered complementary drinks and checked in while seated in the waiting room. We arrived late because of the traffic and were unable to make it to the bank to exchange money, so the Hotel manager lent us 500,000 dong ($20) until the next morning. The room was spacious, air-conditioned, strong Wi-Fi and the bathroom included a deep soak tub. The Morning breakfast is cooked to order and we found the Pho beef noodle soup they offered better than most of the restaurants outside. Fresh Coffee was available all day, another plus for us. The staff here is beyond helpful and attentive to anything that we needed. Maps, directions and recommendation were always available. Tour arrangements were offered at less than what we would have paid outside. The Hotel staff made us feel like we were at home at all times. The Hotel itself is located right in the Heart of old Hanoi. Restaurants, shops and coffee houses are just steps away, along with 2 major markets with a less than 15 minute walk. If you’re only staying a few days or longer, I cant recommend this Hotel enough. As soon as you arrive, all worries are put aside and you can enjoy Hanoi for all it has to offer.

The hotel is based in the centre of the old quarter and the position could not be better. The side street it is on is bustling, but not too noisy, and even though our room overlooked the street we did not get disturbed.
The hotel is small and very friendly. The staff treated you like family and you could not have felt more at home. They happily helped and made arrangements for you and took personal responsibility for making sure the arrangements were correct. It allowed us to have a completely stress free time whilst we stayed. The cost for the hotel was very reasonable and great value. Of course if you want a 5* hotel with a pool etc then you should go to such a place. But if you want a calm, friendly and lovely stay come here. Breakfast was plentiful and they were happy to adapt as necessary (some of our party had restricted diets). We will come back here when we next visit...so that says it all really.

Perfect stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in Hotel La Castella! The staff were the friendliest, most welcoming people we have met on our trip so far. Tommy Lee and Lee made sure we had everything we needed and we felt very well looked after. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our room was beautiful. We were upgraded when we first arrived as we had got to the hotel early! We loved it so much that we came back to stay again after our trip to Halong bay. They even sent us off with some fruit and croissants for the journey. The location couldn’t be better, right next to all the top spots in Hanoi Old Quarter and just a few minutes to the ‘heart of the city’ Lake.
We would highly recommend Hotel La Castella and will be letting our friends and family know how great it is! Thank you to all the staff!

Personalet i receptionen var meget dygtige og var altid klar til at hjælpe med anbefalinger til restauranter og oplevelser.
Især Rain gjorde et et godt indtryk og var altid imødekommende.
Værelset var stort med en dejlig balkon. Værelset var lidt slidt, især badeforhænget kunne trænge til at blive udskiftet, da der var mug på. Værelset var dog pænt og rent og vi fik frisk vand og nye håndklæder hver dag.
Hotellet ligger rigtig godt midt i det gamle kvarter.
Morgenmaden var skuffende. Vi måtte hver dag spørge om der var mere kaffe og fadene var altid halvtomme hvis ikke tomme når vi kom ned ved 9 tiden. Der kan helt sikker forberedes ift. morgenmad og løbende opfyldning af kaffe, vand og frugt.
Overordnet set er dette et rigtig godt budget venligt hotel i midten af det gamle kvarter.

トランジットで休憩するために予約しました。手荷物預かり、アーリーチェックイン、夜のチェックアウト、タクシーの手配など親切に対応してくれます。エレベーターは6階までしかなく、7,8階は階段のみですが、スタッフの方が荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくれました。日中は外のクラクションが鳴り響いているので、神経質な方は眠れないかもしれませんが、シャワーを浴びて寝転がるだけでもリフレッシュできます。近くに有名なフォーやブンチャーのお店があるので、観光にもおすすめです。

地點非常方便，走到還劍湖不到五分鐘，到火車街不到十分鐘，周遭機能非常好，到很晚都有得吃，附近就有很多米其林美食，也有街邊小吃，飯店對面就有咖啡伴手禮店，斜對面有一家雜貨店，晚上會聚集很多遊客聊天，很熱鬧。飯店早餐到9:45，這次住的房型是面街四樓三人房，有電梯、有浴缸、乾濕分離，空間很大，最棒是大窗戶，窗簾很遮光，櫃檯和房務人員都很貼心。

하노이 세번째 출장인데 이번 호텔이 가장 별로였습니다. 싼데는 무조건 이유가 있습니다.

장점
- 위치는 정말 좋습니다.
- 가격이 저렴합니다.
- 좋은 위치에 저렴한 가격대를 찾는 사람에겐 적합합니다.

단점
- 전체적으로 다 너무 낡았습니다!! 단순히 낡은 정도가 아니라 오래되서 간신히 작동하는 정도입니다.
- 청결 상태 좋지 않습니다. 먼지가 너무 많고 눈에 보이는 곳만 대충 청소한 느낌입니다.
- 수압이 진짜 안좋습니다. 특히 윗층으로 가면 더 안좋습니다.
- 아침식사는 부페식이 아니라 주문하면 만들어주는데 한명이 혼자서 하다보니 시간이 좀 걸리고 여러명이 한번에 오면 너무 오래 걸립니다. 7시부터 시작인데 더 늦게 시작한 적도 여러번 있었습니다. 시간 없으면 못먹습니다.
- 한달도 훨씬 전에 예약했고 도착 며칠 전에 확인까지 했는데 방 하나가 준비가 안되어 있었습니다.

저렴한 가격에 좋은 위치를 원하면 갈만합니다. 대신에 청결과 편안함은 포기해야합니다. 엘리베이터는 6층까지만 있습니다. 7층 8층은 걸어서 올라가야합니다.

ナイトマーケット、人気のブンチャー屋、St. Joseph Cathedral、ホアンキエム湖へとどこに行くにも良い立地にあるホテルでした。シャワーのお湯もすぐ出てきて水圧も十分以上でエアコンもよく効き部屋も広くベッドも寝心地が良かったです。
しかし、残念ながらコロナ禍の影響の影があり、ホテル自体はフル営業の状態でなかったです。それがホテルサービスに表れてました。
ともあれ、スタッフは全員が色々親身になって対応してくれました。SIMカードが欲しいと言うと一緒に買いに行ってくれたり、タクシーでなくGurabを呼んでくれたりと。
旧市街を見る限りまだ以前のような観光客には程遠い状況で、ホテル業は苦しいと思いますが負けないでもらいたいです。

모든 면에서 너무 훌륭한 숙소였습니다. 호안끼엠 호수, 성요셉성당 등 주요 관광지와 맛집이 도보로 다 갈 수 있어요. 호텔은 작지만 방크기는 적당했고 깔끔했어요. 조식도 너무 맛있어서 아침부터 과식을 했네요. 여러 메뉴를 주문할 수 있답니다. 닌빈여행을 위해 체크아웃했는데 큰 캐리어를 호텔에 맡기고 여행한 후 출국하기 직전에 찾았답니다. 추가의 비용은 전혀 없구요. Kate 와 Tony 가 그립네요. 다시 하노이에 간다면 반드시 다시 갈겁니다.

総合的に満足。また泊まりたい。

スタッフはとても親切で、立地もとても良かった。朝食も色々選べて美味しかった。毎日タオルの枚数が違っていたのが謎。チェックアウト時担当者がfeedbackをもらうことに頭がいきすぎたのか、レシートとクレジットカードそっちのけで記載を依頼された。書く前にクレジットカードはこちらから要求して返却してもらったが、結局レシートはもらいそこねた。

Good recommended and trustable hotel

First of all, the service is very good in the hotel. The staff is allways helpful and smilling and very nice. Everyone always go out of their way to help and give advices. The food is awesome. The breakfast is generally very average in small hotels but this one is very good. Not much places to sit so better arrive early but we did not have a problem.
The room itself is well kept and i felt it was clean. Some rooms have windows but giving on an inside hole which is a bit dark but we did not mind. The room was a bit humid also but we opened the windows a bit and use AC to aerate. It was comfortable stay in general and the manager is always there to help

Will definitely go back to this hotel if i come back to hanoi and i can definitely recommend it to anyone you can trust their advices as it is not always the case in the area.

직웡분들 너무 친절하시고 마지막 날에는 비행기 시간때문에 아침 일찍 체크아웃을 했는데 토스트도 챙겨주셨습니다!
