This hotel was in the heart of the old quarter, and the location was EXCELLENT! Shops, restaurants, Hoan Kiem lake, were literally steps away, making it easy to find places to eat, things to do, and things to buy. It was also easy for tour companies to pick us up from the hotel. Henry, and the rest of the front desk staff were great, as were the staff in the breakfast room. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were great - we had booked 2 separate nights due to flight changes and they organised it so we could keep the same room for both nights.
The hotel is definitely needing upgrading and i would say its definitely not 5 star more 3 star. Quite tired/outdated in lots of places.
It has a very good location and is very reasonably priced so things to consider depeon whats important to you

I love staying here every time I visit Hanoi. The staff always remembers me as soon as I walk into the hotel.
Henry at the reception desk to Jaime, the chef in the kitchen and the girl who brings my breakfast to me in the restaurant.

The hotel was advertised as 5 stars, having a restaurant and bar, none of this was correct. The room they put us in when we arrived had lights not working, I had to use our torch to find power plugs, one power plug was hanging on the floor, another did not work, the air con did not work, also the television did not work, this may sound unbelievable but is true, I actually sent complaints to expedia and the hotel and nobody actually bothered to respond to me, other than I believe a short computer generated response, really poor buy all parties,

We stayed here after a few days in the Old Quarter - while still a busy area it was not as chaotic. The room/bed was comfortable and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was good and the manager offered breakfast pho one morning. We had an early departure to get to Sapa and the staff prepared a meal for us to take on the bus - great service! The cost of the room was very reasonable for all that we enjoyed. Thx!

The hotel is in a great location, which is walking distance to many things since it's on one of the main roads. Easy for transportation as well: Grab (car or scooter). The roof top bar was nice too, but it was a little walk since it's on a separate building.

We enjoyed the breakfast as well. On our checkout date, our flight was very early, the staff prepared us some breakfast TOGO! Like I've never experienced hospitality like this from a hotel. That was super awesome! They packed us some food that we can eat as we are on the go, with bottled water. They also helped us with transportation to and from the hotel, which made it easier for us since that was our FIRST TIME and First hour in Vietnam. Super convenient. We appreciate you guys!

This hotel is PERFECT for your trip to Hanoi! Me and my wife couldn't be happier! It's perfectly located and it walking distance so pretty much anywhere you want to go! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was beyond amazing. We even got to see and participate in a staffs birthday celebrations which made us feel like we were apart of their family! Breakfast is amazing as well. We also have to give Vivian a bug shout out. She really went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. It was raining hard one day where we had to cancel our Holong Bay day cruise. She took care of it for us without even asking! 11/10 experience!! Highly recommend!

With heartfelt thanks to the amazing Vivian, Ryan and the rest of the team for delivering service worthy of a five-star hotel. Their local recommendations were excellent, their humour and warmth was genuine and constant, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A pay rise is definitely in order! Add to that a fantastic location by Hoan Kiem Lake, lots of good food & coffee nearby, and I can’t recommend Victor Gallery highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff here are the absolute BEST, without a doubt. Vivian and Ryan at the front desk are absolute sweethearts, and I truly hope I get to see them the next time I come back to Hanoi. Phương Anh went above and beyond to ensure my breakfasts were always great. They absolutely made my stay here worth it. The room was very clean, though trying to turn off all of the lights was certainly a mission, and there was no hot water on day 1, however this was a one-time issue. Other than that, my stay here was one of the best out of my entire 2 months of traveling!

Girls trip to Ha Noi

Great location in old quarter. Very convenient to everything! Pretty centrally located to the tourist spots. Rooms are roomy and clean with water bottles replenished everyday. Buffet has just enough coffee with good coffee and yummy pho. And their rooftop gives a nice view of the old quarter at night. And the staff, especially Vivian was very helpful with where we wanted to go and booking excursions at prices within our budget. And her English is spoken like American English! Thank you so much for everything Vivian and assisting our female group of 8 a memorable girls trip!

We loved the Victor Gallery hotel & spa so much. Upon arrival, Mrs. Vivian booked a luxury package tour as Ninh Binh 1 day trip + ha long bay 2 day 1 - night trip + Sapa 3 day 2 - night trip was a good promotion and excellent information was provided. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our entire stay comfortable and memorable. Each destination on the tour was breathtaking, with well-organized itineraries that allowed us to fully experience the local culture and the natural beauty. The meals included in the package were delightful, showcasing authentic regional flavors that complemented our adventure perfectly. I had a very short trip to Hanoi's old quarter and we stayed only 1 night at Victor Gallery Hotel. It was charming and conveniently located, perfect for exploring the bustling streets and vibrant markets of the Old Quarter. Despite the short stay, we managed to enjoy some delicious street food and take in the historic sights nearby. We also visited Hoan Kiem Lake, which was peaceful and a great place for a morning walk. Though brief, the trip left us eager to explore more of Hanoi’s rich culture and history in the future.
