The staff was amazing! Particularly Larissa and Taylor. They were so nice and so helpful. Also, the use of the freezer was very important as we were able to freeze our ice packs overnight, making them perfect for our daytime activities. We will definitely be booking there again.

Check-in was awesome. The front desk young lady named Taylor was so friendly and helpful. She was very professional and made me feel important instead of being a bother. The only thing I gave four stars to is not having coffee in the room. It is available in the lobby, but who wants to go to the lobby first thing in the morning. Overall, this is the best place to stay in Bishop.

Our room was clean the staff was attentive but I guess if your one of those travelers that use the tv to get to sleep don’t count on this place. Our tv would go in and out just like when you’re on an antenna and wouldn’t go back on. We complained and moved to another room same thing. I didn’t want to say anything but they should have known. Just be upfront let your customers know that way we can plan for someone else. Would have been nice to have gotten some of my money back since I paid more than what you advertised.

My room was dirty. There was grime on the floor like it hadn't been swept. I stepped on a piece of glass and had to get my tweezers to pull it out. There were crusty spots on my bed sheets from something... The hot water wasn't consistent, and the laundry machines were all broken. I moved to a different motel in town. I won't be back.

When we arrived we found that the TV didn’t work. Called the front desk and the person came down. She didn’t have any idea what the problem was and she tried everything I had already done. So no TV the entire stay. The manager authorized a $15 off the stay. After they told me it was a simple fix and made it seem like it was operator error. The manager didn’t even call herself, she had the morning guy call me after we already left to deliver the “good news” of the refund.
The floor was obviously a problem because it had major separation between planks of the laminate. This is typical of a laminate floor that had been flooded and not fixed. Upon further investigation I saw that the drywall was bowed with exposed nails and bent drywall near the shower… can you imagine that black mold in the floor and walls?
As if all that wasn’t enough I could not verify that the connecting room door was locked properly the deadbolt knob just spun around and I had no idea if it was locked. So we stacked luggage in front of that door.
Lastly, we were constantly woke up by the excessive noise of the AC unit. It sounded like water sloshing around outside.
We were in room 103.

Staff was very helpful. I’m always quick to respond to problems.
Replacement of broken appliances should be more timely no washing machine available, even though advertised.
TVs were being replaced at the time of my rental. Staff did the best they could with a contractor. That was there one day and gone the next.

After booking my reservation online I took the time to call the facility and reserve a room on the first floor.
I talked to Taylor for over 20 minutes and she assured me that my room would be next to the lobby on the first floor.
After arriving there was no roomed reserved for me on the first floor. What a waste of time.

The room was not well maintained or properly cleaned. There were stains on the walls and sheets, visible dust, and a cockroach in the room. The air conditioning was extremely loud – impossible to use passively during the night. Sound carried from neighboring rooms, and from outside. The plumbing in the shower was clogged. There was also no privacy curtain, only one that fully blocks the light. One out of two room keys did not work.

We arrived late and was able to have our choice of the 3 rooms left. Still good parking near our room.

Pool is not the biggest but the kids had a blast in the pool.

Flooring could use some attention. Flooring had buckled from the moisture in the bathroom and had some severe scratches near the fridge but easily ignored for the price. Room itself was clean and beds made.

Loved having Pizza Factory across the street. There is also a KFC across the street but who is driving all the way to bishop CA and eating at KFC LOL.

Fridge and A/C was so noisy. I had to unplug Fridge. Shower turn on and off handle so so hard. No fan in the bathroom to get steam out, so it smells like mold. It drained so slow that my both feet were under water. Review from Expedia was 8.0, other review was 3.5. How Expedia show bluffing. When I went to Palm Springs was like that. I will tell my friends NOT to trust Expedia Review anymore. So fake to sell the product.

Front desk staff was friendly and professional. The motel is older so be prepared for dated room decor. While the beds were clean the bathroom and room walls could use a good scrubbing down. Our HVAC unit was quite loud. The pool looked very clean but we did not use it. It is a Motel 6 so don't expect the extra frills.

Room was clean. The atmosphere was depressing. Just a window onto a walkway where people walked by. I wanted to spend as little time as possible in the room. But it was clean and warm and everything worked.

The bath tub wouldn't be plug to take a bath. I had to take a Benadryl that made me sleepy on my trip because you could smell wet dog and there was allergens probably on an unchanged blanket. I'm only complaining because when you pay over 100.00 for a motel room like it's the Hilton spa retreat resort and it's only a motel you expect perfect. Bishop water is soft and relaxing I really wanted a bath.

Have stayed here for years! Always enjoyed the simple, yet clean set up.

My room had service water damage and floor was uneven. Towels were rags. Very disappointing.

There must’ve been someone with a toddler that either slept during the day or something ELSE
Cause all night they kept walking the room, shower on-shower off. Al night until check out. I had to turn on the fan in the room to help drown out some of the noise. I hardly slept due to this noise from above my room and I had a long drive home the next
Morning. The phone in my room didn’t work and the tv was cutting in and out. I reported the noise to the front desk and his response was “sounds like someone was in a good one”.

Room was clean but the HVAC unit was very noisy. I woke up multiple times when the heat came on. I could also hear noise from the room above me and people outside my door in the morning (before 6:00 am)
