staff work very hard to keep this hotel clean. Need better amenities like bigger hand soap. Need more detail cleaning in the rooms. Every day we had Indian tour groups and they were very noisy! They do shopping at night come back at about mid night then start packing doors open and talking loudly and going one room to other until 3 in the early morning. We complain to front desk and offered room change but all the floors were same! Someone from staff should go and asked them to shut room doors and keep quiet. Breakfast time also same, loud talking and full of people, but staff did good job filling up food items!

Photos were much better than the hotel. A bit run down but considering the clientele, it makes sense. The staff were very professional when a group of boys came and started being loud and disrespectful to the staff. The hotel is Very close to platinum mall. Tea coffee water available free of charge. Toothbrush was not offered. Breakfast mostly catered for certain clientele but overall okay.

The building is a bit older but that wasn’t a factor in our rating for the building. Our check in was quick and the staff was pleasant however our room was pretty horrifying. The cushioned chair had mold all along the seat cushion, there was hair all over our room, multiple stains on the bedding, the floor seemed like it had not been cleaned. It wasn’t just dusty it was very dirty. Even the table in the room had a thick layer over it. We immediately checked out and found a new hotel. The staff wasn’t unfriendly however they did not seem to be very concerned when we told them how dirty the room was and we offered to show them pictures and they didn’t want to see them. They just told us we had to reach out to Expedia for a refund. Expedia has reached out and was very helpful but it’s been over 3 days since Expedia reached out to the hotel to try to help with our refund and we still haven’t gotten it.

Nice hotel in a not so great area.

All-India clientele and neighborhood. No Thai or western restaurants nearby, just Indian. Huge number of shopping malls within a long walk, ranging from low end to high end. Prepare to be accosted every twenty feet by restaurant/massage touts. Nice swimming pool, surprisingly not crowded at all.

I like the way they clean our room and the reception staff. They are very nice. It's uniqueness maybe was the food they serve everyday. It's almost the same menu everyday. What I didn't like is that the Bathroom doesn't have Faucet to use after defecating. There were no bucket/pale instead.

Descent hotel with the basics covered!

It was fine-we had a nice time! The hotel itself is a bit dated but everything works and is clean. The breakfast buffet was decent - a solid variety: Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and western options. The coffee was really strong! The water dispenser had been previously used for orange juice and so it tasted a bit funny but there’s also a pitcher of water available.

I had requested a king size bed but got a double and a single as an “upgrade.” The view was great but it was a smoking room and there’s just nothing you can do to get rid of that stale cigarette smoke.

It’s not in the nicest looking neighborhood but don’t be intimidated - people were friendly and there were a TON of restaurants in the immediate area. There’s a 7-11 next door. There’s plenty to do a short tuk-tuk away - parked right out front of the hotel: malls, museums, and such.

There’s a rule posted about no “outside” food but we were able to order delivery with no problem.

The pool was lovely and refreshing. The only thing I would have loved is more shaded options on the patio.

As others have said, this is a very dated hotel which urgently needs an upgrade. It is dirty in places and the rooms are shabby. The pool is good but I went into the men’s locker room which was not a pleasant experience. The breakfast is adequate. Location is good to get the airport train - it is an 8 - 10 minute walk to Ratchaprarop station. If it hadn’t been for the location I wouldn’t have stayed here.

Ramada D'MK... The Most Pathetic Hotel in Bangkok

Most pathetic hotel we have ever stayed at. Arrogant and unfriendly staff at all places. They behave as if it's a Dharamshala and you are staying for free. Rude and misbehaving pwoplw all around in the hotel. I would recommend if people don't even take this hotel as their last choice. It would bw better to stya on the roads than staying at this hotel. And I am going to write strong reviews on trip advisor as well.

The staff on the front office especially a lady when I checked in was very rude. While I called the concourse service to take my baggage down I found wheels of my suitcase broken. After reporting the matter to the front office, he gave irresponsible answer that the staff is responsible for damage not the hotel. I think it should be the hotel’s responsibility. Other facilities in the hotel were fine. I don’t recommend the hotel to my friends and relatives.

The worst thing is the breakfast. The hotel caters to a lot of asians, but the quality of the food offered is HORRIBLE. The sambhar( a lentil dish) was mostly water.
The croissants were totally almost uncooked. They omelette station had a wait time of about 15 minutes.All the baked stuff was really inedible.
I think the single traveller can have MUCH better options in Bangkok

My problem is that I understood it was close to the platinum shopping centre whic one is able to access by the clever skywalk ,but not from the Ramada which was not close at all ,the area was surrounded by tiny streets and traffic was heavy at all times .When I got walking details from google they were not realistic at all .However the staff on duty when I finally arrived were very efficient and friendly,not only this ,but they actually gave free access to their computer and this was a great asset .My room was well maintained ,but sadly I was too short of time to use the pool.

What I like is the location. The hotel is fairly closed to the train station to Bangkok Airport, easy to reach food and convenient store.
What I dislike is inflexibility of making changes. I reserved 4 nights, but my schedule was changed and I had to fly back one day earlier. I asked hotel front-desk and see if I can get my last night refund, but hotel receptionist told me that I need to make changes through Expedia. When I called Expedia customer service. I was told this needs Ramada D'MK's reservation team's approval. The team rejected my case. It's disappointing. They’re still be able to sell the room and make money. Why couldn’t I get my last night refund?

THIS IS A JOKE HOTELS.COM FAILED ME HERE

It’s a dangerous area for a solo traveler (woman particularly) and the whole hotel stinks. Don’t let the lobby and pics fool you it’s a disgusting place I walked right out and had to find another place and lost my deposit no matter how hard I told hotels this was unsafe and delapitated. I was told I was to have a bathtub- it was so digusting I would NEVER sit in that thing. Update your pictures and stop the lies I’m really upset with hotels .con for making me keep my reservation despite all of this info. DONT STAY HERE.
And the area of town is so deep Bangkok almost nothing around but slums. I was very uneasy walking around just one block by myself.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK I WALKED RIGHT OUT AND EVEN TRIED FOR THE ENTIRE DAY BEFOREHAND TO CANCEL MY BOOKING AND THEY WOULDNT LET ME . Despite my safety . DEPLORABLE.

Overall a fine stay!

Our stay here was fine. Hotel is older now but in reasonable shape... just outdated looking decor. Room clean and good shower. Excellent city view. Matress is old and a bit hard but slept fine. No serious complaints. Staff was pleasant and accomodating. The only real negative was the hotel seems to attract a lot of Indians so the breafast is Indian food oriented. Not many great options but we got by. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

The place seem like India or Pakistan community, the smell from the elevator up to the hall way to my room it's bad and mole grow around the bathroom sink. More than half of the counter buffet is Indian food. I can notice a lot of people walk away from having breakfast and I also request a bellman to help with my luggage around 5:45 am. front desk said no service until 6 am. Airport Transfer also late. Will be my last time to stay in this hotel....very disappoint it.
