This is a good value for a budget hotel in Queens. The room was basic and clean. Towels and sheets are thin and dingy but clean. Great hot water. Building itself is quiet, although lots of traffic and sirens outside. Immediate neighborhood is nothing special but subway and restaurants a 10 minute walk. The deposit thing is sketchy - you put down a $100 deposit, although weirdly it never actually showed up on my credit card receipt. I wouldn’t stay here for a long time but if you just need a place to rest or then it’s fine and even a good value.

It’s 2026. There should be a mini fridge and microwave in ALL ROOMS
Otherwise you are just another crappy Motel and the ugly curtains were all torn apart the bedspreads definitely need to be replaced and updated. Looks like the curtains and bedspread was from decades ago.
But I did enjoyed my stay!

The room was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. The environment was quiet and check in was quick & easy, and the service was friendly. Only downside is really small parking lot with limited hotel parking, but street parking was fairly easy to find. Really enjoyed this hotel, will definitely be back! :)

I never give such poor reviews, but this place was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. To start, immediately when I got to my room I saw that the deadbolt on my door was broken. I figured since the lock worked and how cheap the place was, as long as everything else was fine, not a big deal. But the next morning, I found a LOT of long black hair in my bed. Mind you, I have blonde hair. I also noticed the bed sheets were ripped in a few spots so the stuffing was coming out of it (not that there is much stuffing left, the comforter was quite literally as thin as the sheets were). I also started noticing a lot of dirt and stains on the bathroom door and walls that I could wipe off with my finger. It was as if no one has ever wiped any surfaces down. Also, I tried asking for a PARTIAL refund for having to go home early due to a severe snow storm that was meant to hit over the weekend, which was unexpected and out of my control since I needed to get home before the storm. They did not budge on any kind of compensation or refund for having to check out 2 nights early. I could understand the need to keep my money if it was something I could control, or if the hotel wasn't busy and they needed the income. But neither was true, I heard the front desk tell a person they had no other rooms available. So if you are so booked, could you not sell my room to make up the 2 nights I let you know in advance that I no longer needed? This place is cheap, but read the reviews before booking.

Front desk staff was very rude. I have been here multiple times. Today I was here with my son, a 7 year old. I usually pay the room and a $100 deposit. Today out of all days I was rudely informed it was two hundred deposit or I would have to leave. It’s extremely cold in NY. I will not book with this hotel again!

I went for 3 days only and the location to subway was amazing just 5-7 mins walking.
Super easy to arrive downtown and seightseeing.

You get what you pay for. Reasonably priced, which is great.
Room was spacious and clean. We stayed in December and the temperature in the room was dropping down relatively quickly.
Public transport available near the hotel, bus just outside the entrance and subway about 10min walking distance.

I understood that this was a budget friendly operation. However, the room I stayed specifically room 404 was not updated. The walls were dirty, the bed linens were thread bare. The comforter which I never sleep under was worn and almost as thin as the sheets, the bed was old and the springs were protruding in the middle. The door latch for security was missing. The tv remote did not control the volume or turn the tv off so I had to get up and change the volume and to turn it off. I was too exhausted to complain and I overheard the front desk attendant tell people repeatedly there were no more available rooms. It was too late to find another hotel. The only updated thing in the room was the bathroom except the towels which were atrocious. Im glad I had my own.
I only stayed for one night and that was too long. I was very uncomfortable. I never leave bad reviews but I had to leave this one because my experience did not match the one's that I saw on the hotel reviews on the website.

Cleanliness 4/10. Bathroom smelled moldy. Pillowcases had stains and bed sheets had cigarette burns. Good place if you need a one or two night stay max. Customer service was 10/10. Lobby was always clean. Rooms were freezing, it felt like we had no heat. Shower was nice and hot.

This hotel is disgusting. Absolutely not worth 150+ a night. They advertised breakfast, and when I arrived, that was determined to be a lie. They only offered coffee. My room was very oddly designed. No matching lightd, flickering hallway light, and terribly dim bathroom light. Not to mention that the electrical outlit in the bathroom didnt work. I was trying to fix my hair and couldnt even do it in the room because there was no other mirror. The bed and pillows are terrible uncomfortable, the bed feels like straight springs with a sheet on it. There were no hand wash cloths for the shower. The walls were disgusting. I saw 2 roaches during my time there - one inside of my room and one in the hallway. The walls are terribly thin, people were banging on walls/things in the room and arguing. 0/10, do not recommend. Spend the extra money for a quality hotel. They are fraudulent and unsanitary.

Did not like: 7 floor walk up - no safety latch on room door - called the front desk after walk up received no answer - no help with bags walking down 7 floors - check out clerk rude and negative attitude. Hotel did not accept AARP discount.

Breakfast was quite disappointing. The options included only toast, Fruit Loops cereal, and instant cup noodles. Who wants to eat instant noodles in the morning? I wish there were healthier choices like yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, or eggs. I would gladly pay extra for a proper breakfast. Additionally, there was no fridge in the room, which was unbelievable. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't provide a small fridge in the room.

You can tell the hotel made a great effort to upgrade the room we stayed in. The kitchenette was great, cabinets new and beautiful, bed was comfortable. So I was a bit perplexed when other things, fixable things, were lacking.

When the hot water faucet in the bathroom sink was used, no water would come out. The bath towels were quite old and worn, and the was no door jam for the bathroom door to keep it closed. There was an ironing board but no iron and no full length mirror, which is not required but a nice to have.

If things like those listed were addressed it would be an even better place to stay, especially since they went to the trouble of remodeling.

Room was good for the price. Overall clean, bed comfy. Bathroom looked recently remodeled. My problem was the sink lotion bottle was OBVIOUSLY used and half full. Why put used toiletries in the bathroom? This is unsanitary. Walls need to be painted ASAP. The walls and ceiling had left over strips of tape hanging as if there were maybe balloons from a party or something. The laziness of the housekeeper not to move this is bananas. There was peeling paint and stains on the ceiling around the smoke detector. Room DEFINITELY needs a fresh coat of paint. Other than that it was fine. I checked in after midnight and left around 10am. Just needed to rest my head.

This is my second stay with them. I like how simple everything is, its very close to a bus line that goes to mid town.

Walkable to 7 train and LIRR

They charged me $60 to upgrade a room with 2 full beds, which was fine. It turned out that the door on that room did not lock when you exited the room (also the TV in this room didn't work properly).

When brought to the front desks attention, their response was \"it's not a big deal because we have cameras.\" I said I wanted a new room. They did not have another with 2 full beds so they put a cot in the room (after telling me at check in they did not have cots on property) which was very uncomfortable for my friend. It was basically just a metal frame on the ground with no padding.

I understand that's all they had but I told them I think I should get the $60 back I was charged for 2 full beds...as I did not get a functioning room with 2 full beds. I was told there was a charge for a cot (the cots that didn't exist earlier that day) and it was the same amount they charged me for the room with 2 full beds.

I asked to talk to a manager and was told there's no phone number to reach him and no email either. I was given the hotel's business card with it's generic email on it...I assume it's inbox is as ignored as I was in person.
As I tried to argue that this was kind of ridiculous suddenly the attendant didn't speak English. I left pretty annoyed and unfulfilled and would not recommend staying here on any level.

It was a good value. The only glaring issues are the bed covers are outrageously awful. They need to change them! I would rather no breakfast than the extremely poor excuse that is presented as a breakfast. The room was clean. Close to transportation and staff were helpful.
