We had an amazing stay at the luxury inn, it is located within walking distance to public transport which was perfect for us. We managed to park right outside too.
The room and en suite were immaculate, extra touches like the fans being on for when we checked in was brilliant after it being a hot day, the shared breakfast area was stocked with plenty of options too.
The communication with the host James was second to none and made the whole process very easy and stress free. Will 100% be returning, I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The room I was in would be too small for a long period of time. I recommend this place for a short stsy

My wife and I stayed here for one night at the weekend and were very impressed with the Luxury Inn.
The location is great - it’s about 15 mins walk from Highbury and Islington, with a lovely pub (“The Hunter S”) next door. James is a very friendly and helpful host, and the room was spacious and spotless – perfect for a short stay. The lounge/kitchen was fab and although we didn’t have breakfast, there was plenty to help yourselves to if you were hungry. We will definitely be back if seeing a band locally or just want to explore a part of London that we don’t know well!

This boutique hotel was an absolute pleasure. It’s location on a beautiful street in one of the hippest areas of London is just a bonus. The personal service and attention is wonderful. James made sure I was able to easily check in after hours and made me feel so welcome. The room was so stylish, cozy and warm. I highly recommend:)

Great location, perfect for our overnight stay and trip to London...very comfortable room with all you need, self service breakfast with all you could ask for , certainly stay again on our next visit. Staff very helpful and attentive. We were awoken at 3.30 am due to an over zealous late check in, rather handy with the buzzer, so maybe improvement required so people asleep aren’t disturbed so early/late in the night, but otherwise yes an absolute great little place to stay.

I would have given a higher rating except for the fact that the bed was rock hard. Nice lounge area kitchen breakfast area upstairs.The area was convenient for us. No staff around after the housekeeper is done though. We had no issues so that was OK but risky I think. Very small room and TV but we don't spend much time in room.

The B&B is on a quiet street and has good bus connections. Communication with the owner was easy despite our booking being last minute. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Definitely good value for money in the city/Shoreditch/Dalston or Islington area. I'd stay again

Things didn't start well when I found that the room had been double booked. While the manager said he would find an extra room, the other person kindly said she'd head home and so the problem was solved.
Once in, however, the room was lovely and my brief stay effortless.
It would be hard to call the Luxury Inn luxurious, but it was certainly very comfortable. Breakfast is self-service in that there is a kitchen at which one takes whatever one fancies as opposed to a mini restaurant.

Very pleasant - was surprised how nice the room is. Apartment style room with a very modern look and feel to it; very very homely. The house is split into 4 rooms, 3 downstairs and 1 upstairs with a large lobby and kitchen. WiFi worked well and there was Netflix available too which was nice. Food/breakfast was available as self service with plenty of variety (continental style) Nice to walk into to kitchen at 10pm to make a nice cup of tea :)

Amazing weekend away with my partner and close enough to the station. Friendly service and homely rooms with complimentary self service breakfast. We are at the local pub next door for both nights and their food was to die for though I reccomend booking a table in advance.

Very nice welcome on arrival. Previous contact from owner with great help on local transport for our journey the following day. Everything there that we could possibly want and absolutely no regrets on choosing this inn. It was a relaxed guest house with nice people who were staying there. The guy responsible for looking after the gust house was helpful. We didn't know in advance there was a shared kitchen where we could cook so that was a bit of a dissapointment. The room got a bit too warm at night so had to keep the window open. It was a bit noisy till 1 am as there is a pub nearby. Recommend for longer stay.

This was the worst service I have ever experienced in a 'hotel', although the owner says it's not a hotel, so that he gets round having to supply things like staff and a safe. The guests have to look after the place as the owner goes home and won't return until 9.30 in the mornings after dropping his son off at school. Couldn't even get shower gel. Absolutely terrible service from someone who should at leaSt be available to guests. I had to answer the door late at night as there was no staff. There is no indication as to what to do in an emergency, which was enquired about by another guest. Worst ever.

Couple's Weekend Stay
We booked this hotel for one night to give us somewhere to stay after going out for a friend's birthday. It is in an excellent location for transport links into the centre. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The shared bathroom was also clean, spacious and suited our needs. We were met and welcomed by friendly staff and showed the facilities. The self-serve breakfast provided was great and the kitchen was well stocked, although all the savoury spreads for toast had run out when we were there.
Visitors should be aware the hotel room on the ground floor shares a wall with a popular, noisy pub. Music and general conversation can be heard through the walls, but as we were going out ourselves this didn't bother us and the hotel had provided ear plugs. It also has to be said the adjacent pub had a fantastic atmosphere and does excellent food so we didn't mind at all!

Islington to DAlston area of London is quite easy to access from Kings Cross Station. THe hotel , B&B has a nice sharing living space and we can have a coffee anytime. It gave me the feeling of sharing house. I have a room with private shower and wc. It was great experience.

First stay at the Luxury Inn and I was overall, really impressed. Bedroom and public areas were good. We shared a bathroom which was just across the hall and as it was only shared with one other room, it was fine. Level of cleanliness in the bathroom could have been a bit better. I had to clear hair from the bath plug before my son took a bath and it was not from the other users so a bit disappointed about that, but nothing tragic.

Excellent. You would expect to pay a whole lot more for the quality of the rooms and the facilities available. Bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was relaxed and the fridge well stocked (it's self service from the kitchen) and the welcome was friendly. I will stay here again.

Great concept - but a little noisy
Great idea - essentially a nice modern house shared by the guests. DIY breakfast but free run of the house. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.The only negative was the pub which was noisy quite late and the noise made its way through the walls and windows. Still not enough to prevent me sleeping with the pillow over my head!

Just what i needed. Reasonable. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and flexible. Quiet. Hardly saw anyone else. Free wifi and can use a computer there for 50p. Breakfast is a self service normal kitchen, so you can get a drink and toast in early hours if you want. Shower not en-suite but right next door.

This is simply the best place ever. Unfortunately it is also in the worst place. Next to a pub. People outside. DJ until 1.30 in morning. Wall shaking and all. Didn't sleep a wink and will never go back. On the other hand, everything else about it --- decor, breakfast, shower etc was top notch boutique hotel standard

What a find! B&B doing it differently and well
Booked just a few days before my stay in London. I was really struggling to find something in this area. What a great find. A small set up (8 rooms I think). With different set up from most B&Bs with the kitchen being a (very well stocked in juices, teas, cereals and breads) DIY breakfast area in a very pleasant living and dining area upstairs.
Free wifi in all areas, free access to a PC (Apple) in the living area with a variety of TV and film choices in your room (Netflix included).
Really clean place, very friendly service (the owner was away but the person in charge was really great - attentive and discrete.
Parking outside is free on bank holidays and weekends but the B&B have day parking permits for £3.00

Everything was fine, but there was some confusion over whether or not I had paid. My understanding was that the payment would be taken off my card when we arrived at the hotel.Later, I was given an invoice which said 'not paid'. I will check with my bank, and make sure I pay, once only!

A few problems checking in due to us changing our time of arrival but owner and his children were very friendly and explained everything well. Very well furnished and comfortable. Lots of good food to which you can help yourself for breakfast. We stayed in the en-suite room. Very pleased with everything but not certain about the glass door to the ensuite. No staff in the inn. It was like living in your own luxury bedsit - very different. We would certainly stay here again if needing to be in this area of London.

I wouldn't call this a hotel. There was no reception so I'd call it a guest house. My room was very well presented but was by the front door so I was kept awake most of the night by people coming and going. In general it was noisy most of the night. As there were no carpets to absorb sound TVs and furniture movement echoed around the building. There was no sign of the proprietor at all throughout my stay. He met me when I arrived and after that I believe he or no other staff were on the premises. Although access to a kitchen was good I had to make my own breakfast and had to root through cupboards for delf. I really felt that I was staying in a house where the owner walked out and said look after yourself and pay for the privilege.

The room and building were really nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was self-serve and included a great range of delicious food. Big screen TV in the room and Netflix access was also great. The negatives are the location: there is a pub directly next door. My room happened to be right next to the pub, which was incredibly loud every night.
