One slight issue with a light was remedied really quickly when we mentioned it at reception. Location suited us perfectly for Liverpool st, less than 30 min walk & 10 to underground to get further afield. Overall excellent value & will stay again.

Meant to be an executive room with more space, for what we paid for 2 nights it was cheap furniture all the windows were cracked, just horrible, it looked clean until you looked closer, shower wouldn’t drain properly and when I took the plug out to look I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned, it was disgusting, then I looked up at the extractor fine that wasn’t doing much as again it was filthy

Great stay in a great neighborhood. My double room was on the small side, but very well laid out. Room came with a desk, wardrobe with a safe, and very nice private bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rack. The springs in the mattress were pretty noticeable when sitting down on the bed, but they didn't affect my sleep. Staff were very kind and professional, and the breakfast they offer was fantastic. I would stay here again.

Room was a refurbished one and very pleasant, although bathroom and main door are too close together and you can’t open one if the other is open. Some cobwebs round the window but otherwise very clean. We didn’t make it to breakfast so can’t comment but looked minimal, maybe croissants and orange juice. You could only access the hotel by staff or keycard so felt very safe

Environmental around the hotel is unkept. The hotel is old and needs MASSIVE renovation. First room given was awful, wall paint falling off and corner looked like it has mould. The second room we managed for the night.

A little noisy due to busy area, couldn't hear much once we put our earplugs in though. Would recommend, great to get to Alexandra palace, train station short walk away. Will absolutely stay here again!

Unfortunately the lift was not working and even though I was given a first floor room, breakfast was then two long flights down in the basement. I appreciate it was beyond their control and it broke just before my stay. That is why I have marked my stay as a 4. Also there were minor lacks of repair - a loose tie back fell off the wall for example.

I couldn’t get into the property to check in and had to wait outside for over 20mins only for another guest to let me in as nobody on reception plus nobody was on front desk to even answer the door bell or landline when I rang it. Thank you! Shoreditch Inn is right next to a churchyard and small park area and our room overlooked this which was very pretty in the spring sunshine. We enjoyed our stay with the thoughtful extra touches of water in the cooler and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful.

Aside from the great location and strong water pressure in the shower, there was nothing good about the stay. Yes it's a budget-friendly hotel, but it's clear that absolutely everything in the room is the cheapest available, especially the bed and pillows. We had 2 awful nights of sleep and usually are good sleepers. The breakfast is rationed (eg. 1 piece per person) so we didn't bother, and we were shocked at how unsustainable the property is with no consideration for eco-friendly alternatives. Give yourself a better visit to London by booking into a Premier Inn or Travelodge which will cost you the same amount but with far more comfort. We won't be returning.

Our stay at the Shoreditch Inn, was rather mixed. We had booked a deluxe double room that was supposed to be more spacious. Obviously we paid extra for the upgraded room but when we went up to it we good barely move around the room. There was a chair wedged under a unit at the bottom of the bed that I had to move to get around. You couldn’t walk past the bed if the cupboard door was open.
The photographs on the website for the deluxe room were complete fabrication.
Having said this, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I was just not happy paying for an upgrade that clearly wasn’t one.
I spoke to the lady on departure about it and she insisted room 207 was deluxe, it wasn’t. Absolutely nothing like the rooms shown on the website.

I stayed for just a night before going to a meeting near Bank. The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for my needs. I was able to walk in to the City next morning. The reception staff and breakfast staff were pleasant and helpful. The area around the hotel has lots of good restaurant and pub options. I would definitely recommend.

The room smelt of curry, wasn't very clean, didn't have a toilet roll holder and the toilet seat didn't fit. 2 days before i was told the lift didn't work and when I asked if they could print out the invoice, they said the print wasn't working. To top it all off the curtains are too small for the windows so daylight comes through. Would not stay again.

Shoreditch Inn lived up to its description, and was clean and comfortable. This isn’t a luxurious hotel - and nor does it market itself as one - but as a base to sleep and have a shower before heading out it’s great!

I was here for four nights as part od a business trip. The hotel is small - but welcoming. They allowed me to check in early with a small fee (after an overnight flight. Being able to take a shower and nap was much appreciated), and the complimentary breakfast was enough (toast or waffles with an egg, yogurt, nuts and juice/coffee). You can purchase a full English breakfast for £7. The room was on the small side but comfy and clean. The mattress felt like a futon mattress, but didnt casue me any problems. Wifi was fast and the rooms have a safe. One thing to consider is that this hotel is centrally located for north east London. The best way to get there is on the overground, 1 stop from Whitechapel to Shoreditch High Street and then a 5-10 minite walk through a quiet neighborhood. To get into central London was anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on where you were going. The Elizabeth Line to/from LHR goes right to Whitechapel and is probably the quickest option (about £12, around double the underground). I would stay here again, especially if I had business in this part of town.

What a great find in the perfect location
We loved our stay at the Shoreditch Inn. We had such a friendly welcome and our room was impeccable. It had every amenity we would have asked for- coffee machine, AC and a fridge with water waiting for us. Our bed was made with towels in the shape of bows which made us smile. We had a great view over the park. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too. We had it for a great price for the location, we were right in the middle of everything we wanted access to- everything was a 5 minute walk. It couldn’t have been better!

Room comfortable and hadcall we needed. Breakfast was good and complimentary, you can upgrade to full English for £7 which was well worth it.
Chef was great and cooked what you wanted. Hotel is small but very nice. Good location with shops and restaurant close by. Buses run past regular and only 10 min walk to train station.

Lovely stay on the hotel location is good for city and west end. 25 minute walk to Fenchurch St and a 10 min walk to Old St station so handy hotel was clean and tidy staff were all extremely professional and friendly the breakfast supplied was high quality and extremely tasty
