A nice stay. Air conditioning worked well. It is right on a busy road, which is busy throughout the night, so the free earplugs were a good addition. Very helpful staff. We went to see a gig at the Alexandra Palace and so the hotel location was perfect for this!

The car park is not ideal for a big van, but the reason for the poor review is this. Upon check-in, i was informed that the car park was £10 and if i didn't pay immediately the system would issue me a £100 fine. Thats really really poor. Completely ruined the whole experience.

The hotel was just wha we needed to be close enough to walk to the emirates stadium for a match! We were a family of four and really happy with a clean room, decent bathroom and 3 beds (as opposed to 2 double beds/sofa bed). Don’t get me wrong, the mattresses were too soft to the point we could feel the spring, breakfast lacked quality and was in a small room in the basement with moody staff, but the receptionist was lovely, car park was convenient and Arsenal won 4-0, so overall it did the job for a good price!

A very clean and well-appointed room, in a great location, for a terrific price. I think sound may be a problem if guests were noisy (walls seem to be thin), but everything was perfectly quiet during my stay. Extra thanks to Alex and Bianca on reception for both being lovely and helpful!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
The room was right on the main road, so the noise from traffic was constant all night.
The noise from neighbors and doors slamming was frequent throughout the night.
In the morning, I was overwhelmed by the smell of toasting bread from 7AM right until check out at 11AM.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Lumpy and the slightest movement caused the mattress to make a racket.
A a very poor sleeping experience.
I won't not recommend this hotel at all.

It's an older hotel with limited soundproofing and our room was under the reception area and in the corridor to the breakfast room so quite noisy. Had to sleep with earplugs (that they provide by the bed). Location otherwise good to two underground stations and a bus line that brings you to central London.

Very poor service and rude front office staff (Boby) — deeply disappointed.

We booked a two-night stay at this property specifically because the website states that the rooms have air-conditioning, which I also personally confirmed in advance. I have a medical condition that causes excessive perspiration and a constant feeling of body heat, so AC is not a luxury, it is a necessity for my health.

On the first night, the AC was working as expected.
However, on the second night, the hotel purposely switched off the AC. When I called reception, he (Boby) openly admitted that they had turned it off and told me to “just open the windows.” It was extremely noisy outside, and this made it impossible to rest. We had to call reception several times due to worsening discomfort.

I became genuinely unwell due to the heat and repeatedly requested at least a table fan. The staff member was extremely rude both to me and to my business partner, dismissively saying he could not find any fan. Only after several prompts did he eventually bring a heater fan, which was completely ineffective and inappropriate for the situation. Despite explaining my medical condition and the importance of maintaining a cool environment, he refused outright to switch the AC back on. This experience caused significant distress, and the attitude of the front office staff was unacceptable. With such poor service, lack of empathy, and unprofessional behaviour, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is as basic as it gets... it is actually more a B&B. It is badly in need of upgrading... rooms are old and worn and tiny. Hotel is also next to a v busy road so bring your earplugs. Staff were lovely and helpful though so can't fault them there

My first time at Highbury and I love it!
The room was clean and well put together. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they all attended to my personal needs. I enjoyed sleeping in my room as it was quiet and relaxing, no outdoor noise surprisingly and I loved the blackout curtains in the room. Definitely a great and safe place to stay at Western London. Subway is near and bus stop is just at the door steps of the hotel! Super convenient location to navigate from there! Breakfast is affordable, I took it just in case, however couldn’t get to try the English breakfast due to my busiest schedule.

Visited from New Jersey US to go see an Arsenal game at the Emirates loved the hotel’s proximity to the stadium- about a 20min walk or less depending on your pace. Manor House underground station (Piccadilly line) also 5-7min walk away from the hotel - so easy access and connectivity from Heathrow which I flew into or Stansted which I flew out of. The gentleman that checked me in on Tuesday Sep 30 between 10 and 11pm sorry didn’t get his name was so very warm and pleasant made us instantly feel welcomed, and answered any questions we had. The other staff was OK. The gentleman definitely made a great first impression and I am disappointed that I didn’t get his name and that was the only interaction we had with him. Rooms decent size, clean, quiet. Overall good value for price.

Located just out of London some 25 minutes tube ride, pleasant little hotel, clean and comfortable, although a little noisy with my room being at the front road side, but not an issue. Great value overnight parking in the hotel court yard was a very welcome addition for London. Really pleasant staff and helpful, gave great directions and a list of places to eat locally, somewhat tight for space but not unexpected for London. 24 hour front desk and located directly opposite Finsbury park, made for a pleasant morning walk. Over all excellent

Great location for a London trip.

Great stay here at the Best Western. Location was very handy for transport links via tube at Manor House on the Piccadilly line and LT bus. Staff were first class throughout, from reception team to housekeeping. Nothing was too much trouble. Also, the room we had at the rear of the hotel was exceptionally quiet. We would happily come back to this hotel on a future visit.

In a pinch, this place will do, only if necessary.

My first impression, was \"dirty\". I mean the hotel in general, I understand that it is in a busy area, but that is the impression I got. The service was at it's most basic. While I see the need for explaining the rules, I was greeted with everything that I can't do, as opposed to welcoming me to the hotel. I felt as though I was burdening the hotel with my presence. Example: I assumed, wrongly I admit, that coffee was complimentary to guests. I am an American and this is a custom in the US. Totally my fault. So, halfway through pouring a cup, I was escorted out of the dining room, up the stairs, down the hallway, all the way to the front desk and asked to pay $2. Then I was allowed to return to retrieve my half cup. A simple comment from the staff, and I would have gladly paid for it. Instead, I was treated like a criminal. I felt so unwanted there, I asked to leave early. They said I could check out early, but it would cost me a out $200 per day for changing my reservation. I was so disappointed in this hotel, I left anyway. I didn't even have a place to go, I just drove away.

The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from the tube past Finsbury Park. The hotel staff were very helpful but the place needs an update. We were in the family room which is in the carpark, not great first thing in the morning with noises of deliveries. The TV didn't work very well even using the buttons on the side, the plug socket wasn't working for the kettle so we had to move it, the carpet was covered in stains and the whole place gave kids residential accommodation. Breakfast was ok, small variety but adequate.

We stayed here as we were looking for a reasonable priced hotel with parking within 6 miles of the Olympic Stadium.Staff were friendly and helpful.Rooms were clean and tidy with air con.We had a wet room! Breakfast was self service with continental and English.Only downside,scrambled eggs only and no hash browns.Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again .

We had booked a room for 3 pepple. When we got there we were told we had been upgraded. Not sure if it was an upgrade as didnt actually see the room but we were taken to an 'apartment ' which isnt in the hotel building. It was in the carpark... surrounded by private housing and flats. Security wasnt veey good as the entrance to parking was open for all and anyone could walk in and out. Locks on the door were not safe....one was broken and a small chain had been put on to replace. The door round the back of the hotel to where our room was , was closed so we had to go round on to the street to the entrance to access hotel reception if we needed anything. There was no ither communication means available in room. The actual room was very dated and not looked after. The caroet in one of the rooms had stains all over and one of the matresses was very old and lumpy resulting in a very bad sleep and bad back on the dirst night. The aircon is good and shower was good and clean. Bath is a very high bath so not suitable if anyone has problems to get in and out Plenty towels provided.

Staff were lovely- even lent me an umbrella for the evening as there was a chance of a shower. Unfortunately the room wasn’t completely clean & despite the beds being comfy I couldn’t sleep because of the noise- from the road and the people in other rooms. Location was great but rubbish on the streets and masked cyclists didn’t really make me feel like this is an area I’d want to stay at again.

Very average hotel. My colleague and I were given \"upgrade\" to the \"apartments\" on site. Very tired and stretched the definition of apartment somewhat; basically 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Collegue's mixer shower didn't work.

This is a great property. Convenient location for the tube into London (10 minute walk), has affordable parking and easy to get too. Staff were amazing (except one who appeared to be having a bad day), room although small was great value for London. Nice cold air conditioning, great shower water pressure, elevator on site - lots of benefits. There is a lot of noise from the road at the front of the hotel but they did offer ear plugs in the room though. Breakfast available for a fee, mostly clean throughout ( a few stains in our bedroom carpet), but these were minor.
