The newly renovated boutique hotel Amedia Hotel & Suites Leipzig by Wyndham, with 67 hotel rooms and suites as well as a conference room, is located on the quiet and green outskirts of Leipzig. Newly renovated rooms, based on the landmark, the Leipzig Zoo, tasteful ambience and courteous service ensure the highest living comfort and well-being in a family atmosphere.

The hotel is characterized by unique art, specially designed for our house in Leipzig by the artist Simone Gutsche-Sikora. Each room stands out for its individual style.

The Amedia Hotel & Suites Leipzig by Wyndham is located in a popular trendy district, close to the Panometer Leipzig and the historic Monument to the Battle of the Nations. Numerous street cafes and bars are within walking distance of the hotel.

The room lacked basic amenities, such as shampoo, a telephone, coffee, or tea. The towels were very old and of low quality. The curtains didn't work, and the floor lamp was broken. The power outlet was placed in the headboard at the place just above the pillow. Furthermore, the hotel was 20 20-minute drive from the city center. 
I am considering asking Expedia for a full refund because they grossly misrepresented the hotel.

Good hotel for short tea drinkers

Hotel was satisfactory with following exceptions:

Good buffet, but coffee machine expelled tasteless steam with no sign of coffee.

Toilet height was designed for a five-year-old, not a fully grown adult.

First, my mistake - I didn’t check that there is no air condition.
Second, I got the last free room, one for special needs. The main concern was the bathroom. The special needs seat could not be moved. After a normal shower, I could “swim” in the bathroom - water was everywhere.

Helt ok och rymligt rum (bokade lounge-rummet). Hotellet ligger i utkanten av Leipzig, vilket passade oss väl när vi körde hem från Alperna då vi snabbt kunde komma dit från motorvägen. Rummen hade sängar av bra kvalitet och rummen är rena, personalen är trevlig. Frukosten var över förväntan.

Dejligt hotel i den sydlige del af Leipzig

Hotellet ligger centralt i den sydlige del af Leipzig, og det er et dejligt sted.

Jeg havde valgt det, fordi det reklamerede med en parkeringskælder. Desværre var det ikke muligt for os at bruge den, da der er vægt- og højdebegrænsninger (maks. 2.000 kg og 2 meter).

Vores elbil vejer 2.299 kg, så vi måtte parkere på en sidevej i nærheden.

Jeg mener, at hotellet bør gøre disse begrænsninger mere synlige i deres annoncer, så man ved, hvad man kan forvente.

Angenehme Größe der Zimmer. Beim Frühstück sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (teils etwas laut). Qualität des Frühstücks mittelmäßig.
Lage gut. Strassenbahn 5 Minuten, Bus direkt vor der Haustür Richtung Innenstadt. Zimmer modern und sehr clean. Wasserkocher auf Wunsch aufs Zimmer. Kaffeemaschine vorhanden aber Pads dafür müssen käuflich erworben werden. Wlan funktioniert schnell. Insgesamt gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und doch ist man relativ schnell im Zenrtum von Leipzig. Das Zimmer ist groß, das Bett bequem, das Frühstück gut, der Service sehr gut und freundlich.
Nicht so gut war die Dusche in der Badewanne: Der Umstellknopf vom Wasserhahn zur Dusche sprang immer wieder zurück, so dass das Duschen schwierig war. Außerdem ließen sich die beiden Leselampen am Bett nur über einen Zentralschalter im Flur ausschalten, dann war aber auch die Klimaanlage aus.

Wir mussten hier spontan unterkommen und sind daher erst kurz vor Rezeptionsschließung angereist. Die Dame am Empfang war unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit. Die gebuchte Suite war riesig und hat bei weitem übertroffen, was wir erwartet hatten.
Die Zimmermädchen und auch der Kollege an der Rezeption am Morgen waren super lieb.
Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, da nicht genutzt.
Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, klare Empfehlung!

Uns hat das Hotel gut gefallen. Unser Comfortzimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte eine sehr tolle Wandgestaltung. Frühstück war gut und alles da, was man zum Frühstück braucht. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr feundlich. Nur die Lage zur Hauptstraße ist nicht so gut, es ist laut durch den Straßenverkehr. Ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wir werden das Hotel wieder buchen, wenn wir in Leipzig sind und eine Übernachtung brauchen.

Unmögliches Personal im Frühstücksraum

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wurde aber ansprechend modernisiert. Dass es auf dem Zimmer eine Nespresso-Maschine gibt, die Kapseln aber gekauft werden müssen, ist zwar ungewöhnlich, aber vertretbar (okayen kostenfreien Filterkaffee gibt es an der Rezeption).
Ein so unhöflicher Service wie beim Frühstück ist mir (obwohl ich als Außendienstler regelmäßig in Hotels übernachte) allerdings noch nie begegnet. Um 10:15 wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass das Frühstücksbuffet um 10:30 abgeräumt wird. So weit alles in Ordnung. Um 10:35 kam dieselbe Servicedame aber wieder an die noch beim Frühstück anwesenden Hotelgäste heran und ermahnte: \"Ich möchte nicht unhöflich sein, aber muss Sie bitten, den Frühstückssaal jetzt zu verlassen.\"
Auf die Anregung der Gäste, dass sie dies auch höflicher sagen könne und doch zunächst das Buffet abräumen könne, schrie sie mit rotem Kopf: \"Das darf der Service selbst entscheiden! Wir haben Ihnen bereits fünf Minuten Kulanz gewährt, bitte verlassen Sie sofort den Saal!\"
Hier wird Service anscheinend noch klein geschrieben. Leider haben wir keine versteckte Kamera gefunden, und diese Begegnung hat uns den Aufenthalt nachträglich doch gehörig vermiest. Nächstes Mal übernachten wir lieber in einem anderen Hotel
