There were stains on the sheets and pillow cases when we got into our room. One of the top bunk beds was very stained and looked like it had just been flipped over, so whoever sleeping on the bottom could just see a huge stain. A roach also actually crawled out of the microwave (can’t make this up).
It also doesn’t mention on the website that if you are under 21 they will make you pay 100 dollar deposit in case you don’t leave the room in good shape, which is kind of crazy given the fact it was already pretty gross from the start. They told me I would get my money back if nobody left the room badly which nobody did. But I still haven’t gotten the deposit back. I really hope they aren’t going to accuse me of staining their sheets like that because I have pictures of them from the moment we walked into the room! So gross, we all put tee shirts over our pillow cases to sleep! Wouldn’t recommend, you get what you pay for.

We got two family rooms for a bachelorette party, and the staff greeted us warmly and let us check in early and as we filtered in! We saw how clean the pool was but we couldn’t utilize as we were out in the town all day. All the beds were used in some fashion and the only complaint is one of the rooms only had a/c in half of the room.

Lets face it, this is a motel.. but It's clean, great location, fantastic staff, and Walkable to Schooners, Patches, shopping. And ice cream.. yum. The beach is so close and more residential therefore it's not overly crowded. We LOVE staying here! This is our 3rd or 4th stay so far! Will definitely be back!

Great hotel for the price, especially when you consider how close it is to the beach. This was my second time staying here and it wasn’t quite as good as the first but I’d still stay here again. This time though, our fridge was leaking and our air conditioner didn’t work when we got there. On our second day we asked about the air conditioner and they came in and fixed it very quickly though! The pool is really nice and deep and most the time it’s either not crowded or there is nobody else in there.

Hotel looked to have had some work done updating the condition of the room. It was very dirty with cockroaches greeting me when I opened the door. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and this is supposed to be a non-smoking room. On a positive note, the bathroom shower was great! A walk-in shower with plenty of room.

This hotel is terrible. The locals live there very dirty not clean at all. Things are broken no room to said anything. There’s no dresser there’s nowhere to hang your clothes. There’s no blow dryer. The refrigerator was leaking water rust all inside of it. The local sit outside and smoke their weed and the people at the front desk didn’t seem to care. They tried to reach the manager because we left a day early how convenient that he did not answer for them. They were also supposed to refund us a nap because we didn’t stay in that has not happened yet

My family and I arrived after midnight and the person in charged made sure we were taken care of even before we arrived. The hotel is old so this needs to be taken in consideration. But the linen was stained and the comforter had a burn spot in it. Floor was dirty. We bought blankets and pillows and slept on top of theirs. Location is great just needs modernization. For the price it’s what you would expect.

This motel was a pretty good stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming and upgraded our room for free upon arrival. One of the first things we checked out was the pool, it was large and never crowded. Also, the motel is only a short walk with no large roads to cross to get to the beach which is a great bonus. However, the motel was a bit on the older side so some of the furniture and walls were not the best. Might also be nit picky but the water pressure for the shower was basically non existent. Outside of those two issues though, it was really good.

I always check for bed bugs so nothing against the Aqua View motel in Panama City Beach FL it’s just a safety check I do for my family we don’t want to stay at a place like that. The mattress needs replaced because they are so stained up that I absolutely hate sleeping on dirty mattress and the sheets pillow cases all had staines on them but I always pack are own pillows and blankets so we don’t ever have to sleep on sheets and blankets that million of people use everyday I love bringing my own not a problem just a problem with the mattress is all the floor the shower all clean and updated the staff was nice!

People live at this hotel, friendly but not the most upscale people. It is close to the beach but I wouldnt ever stay here again. Our door frame looked like it had been kicked in previously and the top bunk had the supports fall out as soon as our kid got on it. We had him sleep on a different bed. There was broken glass in the parking lot. Overall not my cup of tea.

The pictures are putdated as the hotel has been remodeled. It was a nice and clean hotel and it was a snaller place to stay which honestly we prefer vs the bigger hotels. The staff was friendly and quick to get us checked in. We had no issues during our stay and always thankful for that.

So we got a family room for 9 people. And it had bunk beds. When the kids that were small kids like 6 year olds was going to go to bed the bunk beds that were metal was falling through on the top bunk so we had to double up on bottom bunks and get a cot from the office. It was terrible

We booked a family room. I paid in full online. Once we arrived at the motel, I had to pay additional $60 for a deposit after paying in full before we could get our room. The room I saw online and booked is not the room we were given. The room we stayed in, the floor was gritty with sand, the closet didn't have a rod to hang clothes, The air-conditioner only blew in the bedroom. The room I booked, beds were supposed to be a queen, a full, and 1 set of bunkbeds. The room we were given had 2 full bed and a set of bunkbeds. The bedroom needed a trashcan. The bathroom towels were small and there were only 2 wash rags. Before leaving, I pulled sheets and spreads off the beds to find all the mattress covers had stains on them as if they were not removed from the last occupant. My husband complained about the receptacles not being in the right place. He had to lay his phone on the floor to charge. Thank you for your time. I hope they will address these issues before they lose business. They lost ours.

This property was a great place to stay. It was so close to the beach, our room (1 bedroom suite with kitchenet) was spacious, AC was cold and the staff was very accommodating. They even had a nice pool for the kids. I will say that the kitchenette was big enough if you were staying a week or so but the oven in our room wasn't as clean as it could be, but the microwave and refrigerator worked excellent. The pull out couch did not accommodate my two tweens and we had to figure that out. Overall, I'd stay there again for the location.

Great place to stay if you just want to rest and enjoy the beach. Location is walking distance from several businesses and easy to find. It's really close to the beach, a few steps. It's not on the beach. Just wish there had been a broom because I didn't realize how much sand we brought in from the beach. We were given an upgraded room, which was really the size of an apartment. It made us feel at home. Definitely will pay and book for the bigger room, because it'll be worth it. It's a quiet area, more like residential part of town, which we enjoyed.

The area around the property is at the quiet end of the beach and convenient to Grand Lagoon (better restaurants with reasonable prices the what is on Front Beach road). The only downfall is that there is still some tornado damage to surrounding structures in the area. The Aqua View motel is NOT damaged. This is an older motel that has gone through several renovations. The flooring is recent and well as the bathroom tile and shower tile. This place is not directly on the beach but it is literally a two minute walk to the beach. For the price, this place is a good deal.
