I never was able too get the free breakfast they promoted on the website for3yrs my clothes and stylo6LG was left by mistake in one of my reservation stays with my husband Mr,Berkholder forgot too put me on the guest leager ,so he left to Florida and i stayed with no phone and locked out from the room he got me.Dishosnety in stealing guests laundry from there laundry room is not as safe t hat i though I miss soo much the old property owners they would have more control of the security floor plan.

This is a bare bones property which is we what my husband was after. Everything was clean. Several light bulbs were burned out in the room, especially the bathroom and the room was upgraded that included a cute kitchenette. The freezer appeared to have had a soda explode due to freezing and there were remnants of that frozen in the freezer. We learned about five rooms needed light bulb changes from housekeeping. For the price, location, cleanliness, convenience, and price, it was perfect. On a picky note, the door to the room on the inside was peeling badly and had several dents in it.

Had to wait 15 minutes after check in time for room to be cleaned, not unusal these days, but room was not very clean. King bed sheets and bed cover had holes. Bed cover seemed old, scratchy. Both were very thin and offered no warmth or comfort. Asked for extra pillows as given only two, desk agent would not provide. Only third to half of hotel occupied on this day. Cigerette butt in sink drain, no smoke detector in room though sprinkler heads exist. No hangers in closet area. No table lamps for bedside reading. Broken lights around pool, and pool gate missing rail so gap existed that children could get through - unsafe. Others were using pool but beware of conditions. Only pro was location to airport for our early flight. If we had not paid in advance for our single night, we would have left. This place is super basic, with zero comfort, obviously no money is being reinvested in the state of the rooms. Pay a little more and go with a chain/name brand. Even motel 6 would be an improvement. Never again! (I have pics but app not loading).

The thing I did like was the location of the property to both Harlingen and San Benito. The things I did not like were the showers. I have stayed here before and the showers are not good. When you pull the diverter valve to turn on the shower head it sticks, so you get water coming out of the shower head and water still coming out of the lower faucet. This causes horrible water pressure.

The kitchen faucet leaked really bad. The shower didn’t have any water pressure. There was a live roach (bug) on the bathroom counter when we went in. I woke up to a roach crawling on my hand in the middle of the night.

It was good, I’m a regular here but this room was with broken appliances like the fridge was not working and one of the lights was broken, which the fridge was more of what set off most of it as we couldn’t store cold or anything in the fridge. We had to repair it ourselves. Besides that, the room was fine, just wish they’d make sure appliances worked more.

The outside property is nice, our room sparse and old. Low water pressure due to corrosion on facet. The extra chair was dirty, bed lumpy, no remote for TV and no extra blanket or pillows. The description said a restaurant, room service, concierge, bar and many other amenities that we didn’t see nor would we have tried due to the state of the room. We would have left but had paid for it in advance from the photos and were unsure if we could find another room in a different hotel.

I would not recommended, I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel. When I arrived, the place seemed almost empty, which should have been a red flag. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was even worse. It was dirty, with visible stains on the floor and surfaces, and to my horror, I found a cockroach. I couldn’t bring myself to stay in such unsanitary conditions, so I decided to leave immediately. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone – cleanliness and basic hygiene are fundamental, and this hotel failed on both fronts.

Me and my boyfriend had a 3 night stay here and well, it was good at first until we actually took into how the room looked. There were cobwebs on the corners of the room and we even had a scorpion in our room which is a first for me and my boyfriend. We ended up staying due to us not able to get our money back. We've stayed many times, though that time was definitely a changer for us, especially me since I have arachnophobia which I hate any type of arachnid.

1 st night room was not as described when booked there was no refrigerator no microwave the Shower did not work and the Tv didn’t work. We switched rooms the next morning that night the shower flooded the room and they didn’t have any extra towels to clean it up . Once again we changed rooms the next morning. While booking, Expedia mentioned there is breakfast included but the property said its not provided. The key card didnt work and the front desk lady had to manually open it with a key. Well after a 4 1/2 hrs. drive. We were pretty well exhausted checked in went to the room to find out there were no pillowcases or nor blankets or bedspread on the bed. We asked the attending personnel about the room not having it ready. Couldn't give us an answer. So, we asked for a bedspread blanket pillowcase, and we put it on ourselves. The room was kind of bare it could have used more furniture like chairs a table or desk. no phone only one Nite stand. Went to take a shower and the temp was just luke warm had the knob all the way to hot still warm water. bed was lumpy as the pillows were too. Got up the next morning went to a meeting arrived back to the room around 3pm and our bed still not made dirty towels on the floor. I couldn't believe it. Went to the checkout couldn't stay another night and I asked why the room still not tended to. The reason they gave me is that the workers didn't come to work and working short staff. We just left cut my loss. They should have pay me to stay instead of me paying them. I could go on and on about the stay but would run out of time.

The amenities that are supposed to be included with the rental are not what I was given. My room did not have a microwave, trash can, and the towels were limited. When I had ask the front desk clerk to see about putting a microwave in the room he stated that the owner did not like moving things around. After a bit of a discussion they moved me to another room that had a microwave and refrigerator but did not have any tables or furniture at that. It had trash in the trash can and no towels at all. I had to ask for towels three times and when I requested a late check out of 1 hour they gave me a hard time and we're only able to allow me 30 minutes after check out. I believe that paying almost $90 for a room one should be able to utilize all the appliances and amenities that are provided in the details when booking the room. Some may say this is false advertisement and technically they are in the wrong for not having the rooms prepared at check in.

We had stayed at this property many years ago. We wanted to try it again because we love the size of the beds and it's close to some areas that we visit. However this time we were not very pleased with a few items. No breakfast in the morning, hot water was not available and had to be turned on, and the property seems to not be well kept. We had a good night's sleep but we will most likely not recommend to anyone due to our recent experience.
