We get there after booking online and driving 10 hours find out the room I booked was given to someone else because they were so full. I needed the two beds that was given to someone else. Then go to our room and the hallway smells bad unclean. Room was very basic bathroom sink water barely had any water. No breakfast no donuts nothing to eat for what we paid I could have gotten a better motel and better amenities and price but I heard that this was a good place to stay, but I will never stay there again. When we visit the Valley. Do not recommend this motel.

Well there were only 2 towels when my husband went to ask for more he was told there was a shortage & he was given only one 😳 I’m sorry but that is unacceptable!! The tub looked dingy I had to run hot water b4 taking a shower. The mattresses are firm which I’m not a fan of other than that it was just ok

The staff was super courteous. We had problems with the booking but the staff worked with us and got it resolved. The room was very clean. Only issue was the shower. The water was not contained to the shower and the bathroom floor kept getting flooded. Alfo there were 4 of us, but only towels for 2.

Appreciated that they let our family gather in the lobby space for get together for a while. Our reservation indicated three adults at the room. We only had two bath towels in the room and had to go down to the lobby to get more. There was indication some pest control was needed. Overall, our stay was good

We went for a 2 night stay. Our room 214 smelled clean and was tidy. Upon using the toilet, we realized after flushing that the water would run constantly so my husband had to keep fixing the flap inside the tank. We complained but the young man at the front desk said someone would be in the next day to repair toilet. During the night I woke up to go to restroom only to stand on carpet that was wet and very soggy next to the A/C unit.
We requested the name of owner/manager. We wanted to leave but they would not give us a refund but instead offered a different room.
We moved and all seemed okay but upon returning from an event the room smelled musty, the sheets were rough and it felt humid even with A/C on. We survived the night and swore we’d never return.

This place is not a good place for families to stay its more for business personal to be on the job and would have to your own meals to cook for your self it's like staying in someone's apartment
The amenities are poor everything is under lock and key there wear bugs in room and the bed uncomfortable not worth my 3 night stay spent most of my time with friends to stay away from the room only to sleep in
(PS not even a continental breakfast )

Shower tube handle dettached from the wall. Pieces fell apart. Noticeable noises behind the wall (like running water that seemed to be clogged all throughout the day/night). Entrance door was loudly noisy, seemed wasn’t oiled up and made loud noise opening it up and closing it. Shower floor was so wore and with stains seemed unremoveable.

Pool was disgusting, had to re-key 5-6 times for a 3 day stay. Customer service was dismissive of re-key inconvenience. door kept sticking, no ice machine had to wait for refrig ice to be made. had to complete towel exchange everyday only supplied two bath/hand towels.
Overall would not recommend, even with few selections in Harlingen.

The front desk clerk was nice & informative.The room looked like the bed had been made, but hadn't been vacuumed and the floor felt dirty. As we started unpacking we came across quite a few roaches on the desk, counters, wall, and bathroom. There was a roach in the small wash cloth that I was using for my face. I was disgusted and wanted to leave, but I would have had to pay for another room somewhere else and lose my money there as well. So we just had to grin and bear it. Luckily it was only one night. The gym looked dirty and smelled musty like the rest of the hotel.The treadmill looked worn down and wasnt working.The bench was torn and in need of replacement. They really need to have some type of pest control. I would definitely NEVER stay there AGAIN!

This place was by far the worst place I’ve ever booked!

There were so many things I could point out but I will just mention the main reasons of not to stay there.

1.the whole building had a really bad stench to it especially throughout the hallways it literally smelled like a dirty hamster cage!

2. The walls in the room looked dirty and it had patches of different colors like if there was unfinished work there, this place is in need of a paint make over , the tub looked dirty and unclean.

3. The worst thing was that you could feel moisture in the air the whole room and bedding felt damp not a good feeling at all ! I wish I would have read the reviews before I booked here!! Please avoid this place at all cost , I’ve had better experiences at a 1 star hotel this is unacceptable on their end.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, the reception area gave a poor first impression—it looks run-down and poorly maintained, which immediately creates a sense of discomfort.

Overall, the property shows clear signs of wear and a lack of proper upkeep. Both the common areas and some service zones are in need of urgent renovation. The hotel does have potential, especially given its good location, and the staff was courteous during my stay.

I truly hope they invest in the necessary improvements soon, as it could offer a much more pleasant experience with better maintenance.

We have a thing about towels. We like them thick and numerous. These were thin and few. Asked for more at front desk and they were even thinner. The front desk people were nice and efficient and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The fridge didnt work. Continuously cut on then cut off after 3 seconds 24/7. This resulted in little sleep.
Last thing was, the hallway stunk. Beautiful wife agrees. We will look for a different place next time in Harlingen.

Lighting in the parking lot is non terrible, very dark walking to and from vehicle at night. Room is in need of repairs. Numerous light switches do not work. Air conditioning units do not heat the room. Sofa and chair in room are out dated and very worn. Restroom ceiling and walls have patch work that is cracking and not painted. The light fixture on the restroom ceiling is dark due yo mildew or mold on the inside. Very bad experience!!

This hotel was terrible, a dump that I paid too much for. Bulb in lamp on night table was burnt out and they didn't have a replacement. Recliner was broken and one arm felt like it was going to fall off. Towel rod fell off the wall when I reached for a towel and the bracket fell into the toilet with my pee which meant I had to reach in to get the bracket out so I could flush the toilet (disgusting). Very low water pressure in the bathroom sink so I didn't even attempt a shower. Table between living area and kitchen was wobbly and coming loose from the wall. I was not at all pleased with the room and would never stay there again. Not to mention I could get the room with two queen beds because all of those rooms have been rented out to the Army for border patrol troops.
