Wonderful people, very relaxing stay room was excellent. The pool area is great, pool is cold but once in it was refreshing! Doesn’t matter there is an ensen tub area and the indoor spa pool are all warm to hot! The spa pool was a bonus with various massage jets. Restaurant and breakfast across the street overlooks the River and you can order off the menu and have the buffet. Definitely recommend this resort!!

The hotel and spa delivers excellent service an amenities, I felt well looked after and cared for my entire visit, especially by the security and concierges who made sure I was safe entering and exiting the building and always had a positive attitude towards my stay!

The room is nice, I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and took great use of the large bath. The complimentary water was also very much appreciated! Overall I think the hotel is nice and worth a visit :)

RarinJinda is absolutely the place to stay in Chiang Mai! We had plans & accommodations to go be in Chiang Rai after our stay in Chiang Mai but decided to stick around after seeing how wonderful RarinJinda was. The staff is wonderful & grounds are amazing - a true oasis in a bustling city.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our room opened into patio next to the pool. The staff were excellent and helpful. The room was impeccable, and the spa services were the best I’ve had anywhere. It was located just outside of the old city and was a perfect location to quickly get anywhere we wanted to go.

Great spa hotel

Lovely resort 10 minutes easy walk from the town on the river. We upgraded nights 2 and 3 to a Wellness Suite which was great, beautiful large room with complementary water and fruit restocked daily. We used a couple of times the spa which was excellent! Great treatments, good prices and facilities. We didn’t use the gym, but it did look rather tired and need of updating.
The pool area was lovely, but in the shade and pool freezing.
The overall ambience of the hotel is tranquil and lush.
Breakfast is across the road in One Deck, and overall good but not great. We enjoyed the omelettes however and eating by the river.
Sadly there is a live music bar down the road which had live music on all the 3 nights we were staying at the hotel, we could here the music sadly quite late at night, but with windows closed want really an issue sleeping. However we were surprised went on after 11, maybe 12pm.

We loved Chiang Mai, lots to see and do in and around the city. Well worth a visit!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property and i was sad to leave.
The room's are great with all the ammenities you'd need.
Breakfast is delicious and we used the spa for a treatment, shich id recommend.
The only thing is they were rennovating some of the area near the pool, so when we had an afternoon relaxing by the rool it was quite noisy. The rest of the time we were out so it wasn't a problem, but i think they shouldve mentioned this.

This oasis was amazing. I booked for one night and then stayed 3 ! I couldn’t leave I was so in love with the vibes , tranquil and peaceful. Clean , friendly. The security guard even lent me a helmet to scooter about town. So welcoming I did not want to leave !

This place is amazing oasis. I landed and intended to stay 1 day and stayed 3. The neighborhood has everything u can ask for. Art food. Water. Culture and safety. As a solo female tracker I was greeted and treated amazing. The security guard even lent me a poncho and helmet for getting around on motor bike. Relaxing ambiance and caring staff. In contrast to our other property in Thailand this was very disappointing having emailed 3 times for a car to pick us up and to see if I could pay to upgrade our room they said they had not received them even though I had confirmation they had so no car was sent when I called from the airport at 23.00 having waited 30 minutes I was curtly told to get a taxi it would only be 200 bhat !
When we arrived for our 7 night stay no welcome drink staff less than pleasant our package was hydropool daily and dinner they said it had been a mistake left over from just after covid said they would speak to the manager in the morning and get back to us this didn’t happen.Eventually I spoke to the manager directly asked for my money back to go elsewhere he upgraded our room and gave one hydropool session not 7 . The room was very nice but the whole hotel was dated could do with a complete revamp and the staff with the exception of the lovely security guard and the restaurant staff ( incidentally across the road shuts at 10 pm ) need a good few lessons in customer service . The experience actually spoilt our stay in Chiang Mai my partner was so disappointed with the service.

Great location next to the Ping River and close to the U.S. Consulate. Friendly staff but hotel is beginning to age as seen in bathroom fixtures and sink, broken tv coax cable, creaky wood floor and unvarnished lanai bench. Pool was freezing at mid day and should be heated. Best breakfast we've had in a while but dinner was poorly prepared for the price.

Good hotel, nice staff but not so friendly policy

The stay was ok. The hotel hardware is good, cozy and comfortable. The staff are friendly and nice. However, it might be the hotel policy or whatever, is very straight and square. Not very guest friendly. Take an incident as example— a candle burner (for aroma) was somehow broken I believe, when moved, it just fell in parts and dropped on floor. The staff is very nice and helpful in cleaning up the mess for us in the room. However, the hotel charged me (around 5 times the cost of the burner). I suspect that if I don’t agree to bear the ‘penalty’, the staff who helped me clean will need to be charged or sth. So I accepted to pay for it.
Anyway, I believe, as staff explains, it’s the hotel policy, the staff in general are very courteous and nice. And the hotel in general is a comfy choice.

I wanted to like this property!

The first room had many problems. Poor air conditioning, extremely poor WiFi. Shower water pressure not good. Cable TV bad. I asked for another room and they obliged. Second room had much better air conditioning. Better cable TV. Still had very poor WiFi. And shower water pressure still lacking. Overall the room looks beautiful. Concierge barely spoke English so I had to air my grievances and request with the front desk. The front desk was outstanding. The surrounding area was lacking. You needed to take a taxi or Grab to go into town. Breakfast area is across the street so if it’s raining you’ll get wet. Inconvenient. If it weren’t for the practically non-existent WiFi the experience would have been good.

I wanted to like this hotel

I will try to be totally objective. This hotel has positives:

1) The room is beautiful. The dark tones blended very well. The bathroom is gorgeous.

2) The layout of the property was extremely well done. I believe all of the rooms have a balcony that overlooks the pool.

3) The front desk is very helpful. I felt bad for the front desk due to the list of complaints which will follow next

NEGATIVES:

1) The first room I was given was on the 2nd floor. The air-con was mediocre. The room did not get that cool. The 3 lamps all require manual switches, which was inconvenient since all the other lights are control by wall switches. The cable TV was horrible. I know. I’m not here to watch TV. However, when it is pouring rain and you’re waiting for breakfast to open it would be nice to throw the tv on to pass a little time. The second room they gave to me addressed most of my issues.

2). WiFi is HORRIBLE. Even in my 2nd room it was better but very spotty during the night.

3) Location for the complimentary breakfast is across the street from the actual hotel. I’d rather not get wet crossing a street when it’s raining for breakfast. Breakfast itself was mediocre. Nothing stood out. Some of the “hot food” was lukewarm. I arrived there at the very start so there was no excuse for the food to not be hot. The breakfast staff was less than attentive. Buffet style should require staff that will take your plates before they start to stack up.

Lovely large room with clean bathroom. Nice balcony with views over the pool. Room was cleaned daily and complimentary water supplied as and when requested. Pool was large but decking a little old and lifting in places. Staff were helpful at reception- no real issues. My girlfriend and I went for the wellness suite. For the bit of extra money you do get a lot of space in the room as well as outdoor space, not to mention, as I am sure you have seen, the amazing Jacuzzi bathtub. The bathroom was spacious, bathtub was beyond believe. That quickly became the highlight of our trip, well, as far as being in the resort is concerned. The soaps they give you in the room can be purchased in their spa, which should tell you the quality of the soaps they provide!

Room was clean and it was quiet, perhaps we got lucky with the other guests, but we did not hear any noises in our room during our stay.

Breakfast was good with omelette station, changed daily Asian food and salads, fresh fruits and cheese. If you want, you can get a seat outside facing the river, which was surprisingly nice, given the river is dirty and there is not much to look at. We ordered room service during our 4 night stay and found the food to be way below average for both the taste and value for money. Do not order room service!

The resort is close enough to the night bazaar to walk, it should take you around 15~20 mins to walk, depending on where you are in the bazaar. However, the resort provides daily shuttle to the city, at 7pm. However, they do not bring you back to the hotel, so be prepared to have either resort address in hand and haggle with tuk tuk or walk back to the resort from night bazaar.

Totally disappointed with this hotel. We had high hope and I don’t know how it gets it’s good rating. Service is basic, below average Thailand hotel standard. Check out was so slow. We checked out at around 11:50am which was not a busy time. Check out took us 15 mins waiting at the lobby for them to check the room. They only told us that it was okay not until we asked them.
The floor of the room was filthy, never get cleaned. I have so much to say but just can’t be bothered with this hotel. Never ever going to come back.
The only positive with this hotel is the free yoga class. The yoga instructor was a very nice and inspirational lady.

Hotel is quite far out from chiang mai town however might market nearby was very good.

Overall our stay was disappointing as the hotel staff were so unhelpful and didnt speak english at all. They were awful at repcmmending anywhere to go nearby they had no clie whatsoever. There is no bar here so you cant even enjoy a beverage after your day trips. The excursion stand at this hotel is a rippoff beware! We booked all our trips from a excursion shop on the night market road. They had wawee coffee opposite which was good.. breskfast was across the road which is inconvenient. However the security guards do help you with crossing. The spa was so overpriced for what it was... the pros was the fresh coconut upon check in and the snsvls after spa mango sticky rice was very a very nice touch.

This was an incredible facility. Very beautiful. Very clean. The staff was very very helpful and nice. I could not be happier with my experience. We did yoga in the morning. My wife had a wonderful message at the spa. The location is absolutely perfect. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city ...yet not too far out. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great views of the river. Again the restaurant staff was so attentive. This is an incredible value & I would absolutely stay here again!

It is located crossed the river from Night Bazaar street, which is not that far. The room is clean and with nice view of courtyard swimming pool. The furniture in the room is cheap material, the fixtures in the bathroom are not properly installed, the shower door is not waterproof and has bad water smell, toilet cover is also cheap plastic. The service was slow checkin and checkout (need to verify items in the room), and someone in the front desk mistakenly called us at 7am for pickup of tour. A room directly cross us from the courtyard hung their underwear outside of their balcony that’s really disappointed, and the front desk explained that typical behavior of mainland Chinese. In fact, the most guests we saw are mainland Chinese that could be noisy sometimes. Overall, it’s a bad experience for us and for the same price we could just stay in Shangri La for our entire trip.

Staying here was OK. Room was fine including 3x500ml bottles water in fridge each day and bananas/oranges. The breakfast had a good selection as did menu in restaurant in the evening. Security team will help cross the road to the restaurant which is on the river front (Deck 1).

I stay in spa hotels when travelling alone as I like to be able to se the gym/spa in the evening after a day sightseeing. Gym is well equipped but open to the air so issue re mosquitos etc. The main swimming pool is outdoor and not heated which may be fine if you wish a dip in the middle of the day to cool down but in the early evening, water was too cold for me (really ice cold). Onsen was pleasant but you have to pay for this (£14), are allowed 30mins to use the 3 pools and then are escorted out, even though the entire spa was totally empty. The hydropool and steam room also carry a charge which was more than I was prepared to pay (I think £24). This is not really clear even in the spa menu at the hotel and not on the website. So it was not really possible for me to use spa/gym/swim facilities in the evenings as I had hoped. Yoga class morning and evening is offered for free you just need to book in advance.

this is not a 5 star hotel IMO - its pleasant and 4 star. Staff in hotel not very helpful. Concierge is a tour company who charge you a lot but won't tell you basic information about how to get somewhere and charge a lot more for basic taxi journeys than other taxi companies.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly, efficient, and so accommodating. Due to our schedule, my daughter needed to use the fitness center an hour before they were scheduled to open, and they happily opened it for her then. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel, with many warm and cold dishes, including beautiful fruit and an omelette/waffle station.

Not worth the money, to revise the rate.

Room and environment was clean and comfortable.
The wifi was very bad even though the router was just outside the room.
The breakfast and restaurant staffs a little disappointing, not much food and staffs don't approach to greet or offer coffee, need to call and ask.
The spa being luxury but overpriced for the packages.

Beautiful hotel

Great location right near the night markets 10mins walk, excellent staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is ok, nice swimming pool. Very quite and peaceful hotel

Nice 3/4 start hotel

Generally speaking, I had a pleasant stay at RarinJinda Wellness Resort. The room was clean, hotel staff were very polite, and the quality of the spa attached was exceptionally good. That being said, I have some reservations to recommend this hotel to others. First, the gym facility is limited and there is no A/C provided for the fitness room, making it quite difficult to work out pleasantly. Secondly, this hotel only offers one restaurant opposite of the hotel. There is no problem with the berakfast but it is not a top-notch breakfast and the variety is of the 3-star hotel. Room service menu is also limited. Lastly, there are rooms that has a conecting door to a room next door and I could hear the other guests speaking loudly VERY clearly from the room next door and had to ask the staff to change my room, which they did without any problem. If you are not planning to use the gym and your stay is going to be for a couple of days, this hotel should be a value for money.

Good place to just relax

There is something about this resort, it makes us happy & feel a peace the moment we stepped into the entrance. We stayed at the ground floor at the room with direct access to the swimming pool. My children had a blast. The room was impeccable. We had a good stay. Would love to stay here again the next time we come to Chiang Mai.

Relax! A nice resort hotel. All the staff are very kind and willing to server for you.
You can spend lots of time in hotel.
However the Wifi network is not stable and the shower tap is very slow.

Wonderful hotel! We were greeted by the most friendly staff. Accommodating. Spa was relaxing and had the best couples facial. Restaurant was very good.. Room was comfy, clean, and spacious! Would for sure stay here again.

Simply wonderful

Ratinjinda is such a beautiful resort and kid friendly. It was peaceful and relaxing. The service and staff was great and very helpful! I would definitely come back and do the New Years event at Deck 1 again!

Chang Mai break.

We enjoyed our stay , the hotel pleasant and quiet apart from the building work going on in the spa . The staff we're very welcoming and helpful. The room is as nice and comfortable and the bathroom well designed. The hotel was in a good location with the Night Bazaar and Old City within walking distance.

Nice spa hotel. Good location.

Timing of our trip was unfortunate. I was looking forward to trying the gym, daily yoga classes and also experiencing the spa however due to the renovations we could not do yoga, gym was only available half way through our trip and our spa selections were limited so no hydro pool, for those signature packages including foot polish we did not receive. The renovations at times were noisy. I think had we come at a different time where full facilities were available would have made our stay much better.

Lovely boutique hotel

We had a pleasant 3 night stay at this hotel. Cozy and small, the hotel only has 40 rooms, so it never feels crowded.

Very nice resort.

This was my fifth stay at the RarinJindan. I love the location and garden like setting. I come back for a reason. Great service and location. They are remodeling some parts of the resort which is a good things. I suggest they work on the pool I notices mold along the sides has you side out. This is something quest should never have to see. Other than that issue. I would stay here again and again,
