Excelent Service. We arrived somewhat late but they opened their bar for a night cap. The breakfast buffet was variedad and plentifuk. Windows were Double / tripled paned. Very quiet.

Pros : Room and spa were clean, staff was friendly and it is just right next to the beach.
Cons: Double bed was actually done with two mattresses instead of one, so you end up sinking in between. Most of the furnitures are quite old (ripped chairs, falling shelf, rusty heater in bathroom, etc.) You clearly can see that this hotel was bought back after the previous owner went bankrupt a couple of month ago (true story).
I recommend only if you are looking to go to the spa, otherwise you can find better for this price (ps : this is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel).

Wonderful spa of pools with various water jets for massage, all available to guests at no charge. Beautiful view on the beach and ocean. Having breakfast on our ocean view balcony...ahhh.

Too much noise for a spa
The pool machines made too much noise, in particular a high pitched whine that penetrated from the reception area, throughout the bar and into the massage rooms on 2 levels. In fact, they reverberated throughout the hotel, from the bottom floor into the hotel rooms above. I was told by staff that this situation has been going on for a number of years. The thallaso and spa services were wonderful, although I was disappointed that they only offered a yoga class once a week. The heated sea water pools were excellent, yet the decor left a lot to be desired ... 1970's chic. I came for rest and relaxation, but felt stressed by the constant high pitched clatter.

This hotel is a nice base for exploring, you can see Pyrenees foothills and it's right on the coast. Hendye is ok, not as exciting as Biarritz and San Sebastián but quieter and the harbour is nice. Hotel is well situated, it's great having the spa downstairs (compulsory swim hat so bring one or be prepared to buy) and the food was great. Service was ok but a bit variable. Perhaps very English of us, but even at request they don't provide tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which we think of as an essential. But generally bed was comfy, rooms were quiet and toiletries smelled great.

Nice hotel, clean and bright rooms, modern decor throughout. Staff are ok but could be better and more friendly. The spa access cards and wristbands is the most unnecessary system I've ever seen in a spa. The water spa area itself is ok but not amazing, needs refurbishment and updating.

Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur des 20€ demandés… premier matin : grille pain disjoncté donc pas de possibilité d’avoir du pain grillé. Les œufs soit disant brouillés ne sont qu’un mélange liquide sans aucun doute fait avec de la poudre.
Nous ne reviendrons certainement pas dans cet hôtel lors d’un prochain séjour à Hendaye.

Déçue par la gestion d'une erreur de facturation
J’ai séjourné au Relais Thalasso Hendaye début mai 2025. Malheureusement, mon expérience a été entachée par une erreur de facturation importante : la chambre a été facturée deux fois, une première fois via hôtel.com (prépayée), puis à nouveau à la réception lors du départ.
Malgré mes nombreuses relances (appels, e-mails, justificatifs, RIB…), il m’a fallu plus de deux semaines pour obtenir un remboursement partiel seulement — sans explication sur le montant manquant et sans excuses de la part de l’établissement. J’ai dû relancer plusieurs fois pour obtenir une simple confirmation de traitement. Le responsable réception m’a informée que la comptabilité ne communiquait pas directement avec les clients, ce qui complique encore plus le suivi.
Je déplore un vrai manque de réactivité, de transparence et de considération pour le client. Une erreur peut arriver, mais c’est la façon dont elle est gérée qui reflète le sérieux d’un établissement. À ce jour, je reste dans l’attente du remboursement complet.
Espérant que cet avis incitera l’établissement à mieux prendre en charge les litiges de ce type.

Accueil sympathique. Chambre agréable avec une excellente literie et un petit balcon avec vue sur la plage d’Hendaye. Bon petit déjeuner mais prix trop élevé (22€ / personne ! ) c’est plus qu’un mercure ou un Sofitel. Parking sous terrain prohibitif (28€ par jour !) une honte !! Spa marin spacieux et très agréable. Bons équipements.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour le spa et sa qualité de service mais à notre arrivée le réceptionniste nous annonce que la totalité du spa est ferme exceptionnellement à cause d’un problème technique… aucune compensation proposée, nous avons demandé un geste mais il a fallu attendre le lendemain pour parler au gérant de l’hôtel qui nous a simplement offert les petits déjeuners express, après avoir de nouveau insisté sur un dédommagement. 8€ offert c’est maigre comparé à notre déception et à l’absence de spa… dommage, une entrée au spa offerte nous aurait donné envie d’y retourner, mais ce ne sera pas le cas !

Premier séjour en amoureux depuis 8 ans, réservé une suite par hotel.com, photo vue duplex, vue sur la mer chambre fantastique: arrivé sur place : chambre de 20m2 vu sur tuyaux... c’est une arnaque. Les photos sur hotels.com ne correspondent en rien à la réalité. Cela devait être modifié sur hotels.com - mais ce n’est pas le cas - Attention !!!
Service du petit déjeuné horrible: Petit déjeuné servi à table - on doit entourer notre sélection - le serveur nous a à peine adressé la parole.
Pour le spa, On nous fourni un badge à l’arrivé mais ils doit être activé à la réception du spa (ou on nous fourni nos peignoires) et on doit remonter en chambre pour se changer: on a perdu 1h a faire ces manipulations. Rien n’est fait pour simplifier la vie lors du séjour et limiter les contacts pour respecter les gestes barrières.
Chambre: à rafraîchir, serviette rêche...loin d’un 4 étoiles
Pour finir, Piqûre d’araignée Au réveil : il y avait des araignées dans notre chambre.

L'hôtel Serge Blanco est bien situé à Hendaye, face à la plage. Nous avons bien profité des bassins extérieurs pour une agréable détente avec personnel accueillant et serviable !

Bel établissement, bien situé par rapport à la plage. Belles installations de thalassothérapie. Chambre agréable, assez spacieuse pour 2 personnes. Seuls bémols, la literie est un peu fatiguée et le buffet du dîner du premier soir trop cher ce que c'est (buffet de charcuterie très banales !) pas à la hauteur du reste. A recommander tout de même.
