The room smells (same problem across both room we had), the bathroom ventilation seem not to do the job, the room smelled when we went out in the morning - and smelled when we came back in the evening.
The evening reception was giving a very hard time - including not letting me pay by credit card in home country currency (!)

Room was clean and comfortable. Continental Breakfast was very good. The location was convenient and less than 10 minute walk to Villa Borghese. Front desk helped with taxis, and fares were under 20 euro to the colosseum and Vatican. We used the hotel recommendation for transfer from the airport, and the driver was courteous, on time and great communication.

This B&B is in a secure area, about 2km from the historic centre of Rome. There are several bus route options nearby--keep in mind that Roman public transit is not known for promptness. There is a grocery store on the next block. The place is clean and quiet (other than road noise). Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with continental options like pastries, yogurt, cheese, sliced meats, cereals, bread etc. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had one of the best showers I've experienced. The only negative was at check-in: we knew we would be charged a 50E fee for being late (after 8pm), but we did not expect to have to pay in cash. The \"city tax fee\" was also demanded in cash (everywhere else allowed credit). This unexpectedly wiped out our cash and was quite inconvenient.

The staff was nice and friendly. What I suggest is more lights for the rooms. They were kind of dark. They can add stronger light pulps . The breakfast should have a toaster because the bread were served cold. But in general it was good experience, walkable , clean and safe.

The property listing is misleading. It was advertised as a hotel, but in reality, it is not. Staff are only present during limited hours of the day, which makes it inconvenient if you need assistance outside of that timeframe. On top of that, the rooms vary significantly in size, yet they are all charged at the same rate, which feels unfair given the lack of consistency.

Not recommend this hotel. We are international travelers visiting Rome. This hotel is not a good choice. Pros 1) the staff is friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk gave us useful tips of how to navigate around. 2) The room and building look nice and beautiful. 3)The shower head is cool.
Cons 1) The location is not good. We went to the Colosseum, Palatine, Vatican Museum, St Peter’s. The hotel is not within walking distance to any of them. It is not easy to get a taxi and some taxi drivers charges twice for the same trip. 2) check in time is not convenient. Our flight was delayed and we arrived at 8:00, passed the 7:30 check in time. Our original flight was 2;00pm. I had to pay 50 Euro for the late check in. The price increases to 100 after 10. 3) breakfast time is too late. Most of my tour starts at 9:00 and the time to walk to the taxi station and morning traffic makes us have to leave at 8:00. But the breakfast does not start until 8;00. 4) short of staff. On the last day, we had to check out early and leave our luggage in the hotel. The front desk is supposed to arrive at 8 but nobody showed up at 8. We had to keep waiting. Finally the breakfast staff helped us store the luggage but she was still serving the guests for coffee. It was a chaos and we felt guilty we interrupted other guest’s breakfast. 5) there is no hot breakfast. Just cold stuff. No fruit either. 6) the bathroom smells bad, there is no lock in the bathroom. Out flight was late and they did nothing to accommodate our late check in. We had to get another place for that 1 night. The next morning we waited from 845 to 1115 am for someone to show up. Once we finally got into our room it was very nice. It is a B&B not hotel. Would not stay here again.

Unfortunately due to one employee (Emily) made our stay very unpleasant and uncomfortable . Her demeanor was so rude unprofessional and spiteful for no just cause. Please note that all other employees were great, helpful and went over and above the call of duty. A person of this nature should not be working or dealing with guests. We were 4 couple each celebrating 40 + years of marriage and can say that each one of us was totally disgusted with her actions and ruined our stay at via Veneto Suites. We would not return or recommend to place to anyone if she is still there. She does no justice to this place at all.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff were professional and friendly, and very welcoming. The property is safe and secure. The breakfast was good. Like most hotels in Rome the room was small but perfectly adequate for sleeping. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The hotel is in a great location, close to the U.S. Embassy and the Borgia Gallery.

The only issue we had was our room (#25) was located near a very busy avenue that was heavily traveled late into the night. I think most of the rooms are away the noise but if you are a light sleeper, ask for a quiet room.

Only difficulty was it was difficult to find as on Via Corso. I would recommend letting guests know nearby landmarks so easier to find. (We would tell taxi near LIH hotel. )

I stayed at Via Veneto Suites in 2019. It was the perfect guest house for my needs. By now in 2024, the property is showing its wear and tear a bit. But I would still recommend staying here if you are not keen on having hotel-style amenities.

no reception after 8pm which the TV at our room did not work and we couldn't find anyone to help.

It was a very safe and friendly place. I liked that it was quiet and out of all of the busyness of Rome but close enough to it all that it was a hassle to get to. What could have been better was the humidity level in the room (this was a common Italy problem). There was no heat in the room and while we were not cold it did create a dampness and slightly moldy smell in the bathroom.

This hotel was amazing! Breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were so clean and beautiful. Bathrooms were very modern which was nice. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to from this location. Staff was truly great with any questions we had. We felt so welcome here.

The security safe in our our room was broken and the flash in the bathroom didn’t work. When asked kindly for our room to be change we got refused. We went for breakfast at 9.30 and there was hardly anything to eat. When we approach the member of staff his exact words were ‘they ate it all so there is not much left’.

The wall papers are old. Our room is near the reception area. The curtains have stains you can tell it hasn't been changed for awhile. The picture looks nice but our room has peeling off wall paper. The housekeeper doesn't replace the soap, tissue and towels. I have to beg from the receptionist and she gave me a used rull from the other bathroom.One skinny receptionist is not helpfull .

The room was very clean and very spacious.
It is close to very busy street ,but ones the windows are closed no much noise is noticed. Bed is very comfortable.
Superb capuchino and breakfast.
You have to walk quite a bit to major historical places.If you get tied taxi are available for no more than few euros.
Will definitely stay in tjere again.

Loved the environment convenient location the staff was so helpful and friendly and gave local suggestions where to go and eat! So convenient near villa borghese and metro Great restaurants near hotel beds were comfortable and they treated you like people in I’ve been in other hotels when you talk and ask the workers to do their jobs and it’s a chore to them loved finding this hotel we were going to another hotel in rome we canceled it and came back to this hotel whenever I’m back in rome definitely will be staying here!

This property is lovely, so well cleaned and decorated, it's gorgeous. Location it is near the Vatican approximately 10 minutes by Taxi. It is pretty well located. The only thing is check in their check is at 3PM and depending on who is at the desk they might not let you in. However, when we came in their internet was down and it did not help, the hostess was very rude in a way. However the manager and supervisor were very friendly and helpful. I truly recommend and would return again. They even assisted me with arranging a Taxi to the airport at 3AM. They went above and beyond for us.

Great stay. Hotel greeting was fantastic all staff very helpful. Cleanliness and room size was great for 3 people. Location is about 10 minute walk from Trevi fountain area. Lovely fresh breakfast served until 11am. Asked for a transfer to Ciampino airport advised it would be €50 from hotel but asked reception to book a local taxi for a fixed €31 which they did. Great stay would recommend

We loved our stay! The area is a bit of a walk from central attractions, but we didn’t mind it at all especially since Villa Borghese is close by. Our room was spacious for the two of us, and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast included was a great plus too! Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t care being super close to things. The walk was safe and negligible.

Stayed here for two nights travelling on my own. Room was clean and the shower was great. Breakfast was delicious as well and a great way to start the day. All the staff were extremely helpful as well.

If youre not a fan of lots of walking I would maybe look for something a little closer to the main attractions (everything seemed to be about a 20/30 min walk away), but there is a metro station about 10 mins away which is helpful. Highly recommended.

This is my new go-to for Rome! I've traveled to Rome many times, but now I've found the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just outside the city walls, it's a great location for Villa Borghese, as well as the local residential neighborhoods and their dining scenes. Also, I enjoy walking the city, so it's quite convenient if you like to walk to the major sights and not be so engrossed in the chaos of Rome. The staff was also amazing and I've already booked my next stay!

Loved this hotel. It was small with only 5 rooms I think but the rooms were luxurious, all decorated beautifully and differently. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh food in a cute little room with a very helpful young man serving us.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

I really liked that it was a gated area. That made me feel safer in a unknown country. The gate wasn't working the last part of our stay but other than that I really enjoyed it. The breakfast was so great. Food made upon request. It was delicious. The shower was amazing. The one thing I didn't like was that the staff was not available after about 9pm. It would have been comforting if there was someone there who could assist in any issue that we could have had. Once my husband and I were having issues with a taxi on our way back to the hotel and It would have just been nice to have someone we could have contacted. It all turned out ok though. I was such a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay there again.
