This property used to be better managed. No runing water on evenings. You have to call and wait for 1 hr before getting water for shower.

The place is nice but not worst the money it’s very pricey while it’s also basic and again the pool close at 10:00pm and you have to pay extra for breakfast. No meal is included.

The hotel came recommended to us by colleagues. We arrived a day late and and no issues checking in, security and reception staff very helpful and polite. Room was a good size and had a secure safe TV didn't work but that didn't bither me. Shower was never hot but again I wasnt too bothered. Couple if times mine and my colleagues rooms.were open when we arrived back in the evening, when questioned it was to 'let the floor dry' i wasnt happy about that as all our belongings were visible - nothing was taken though i must say. Breakfast was always fresh and plenty of choice. Skybar restaurant was cool, great atmosphere and really nice food. Overall i would definitely recommend the hotel.and would.have no hesitation in staying here again. Thanak Star land team

If you like a hotel that is clean, secure & calm, then look no further. I was very impressed by the level of cleanliness, even the pool. There is a baggage scan & metal detectors upon arrival. The hotel location is very calm & quiet even during the day. Breakfast buffet was exceptional...something for everyone. Burger at Skybar was delicious, though a bit pricey. There's also a bakery next to the lobby. All staff members were very courteous & friendly. Hopefully, someday they can have an ATM machine like some other hotels in town.

I was charged a bill for mini bar, which no one told me about when we moved in. All I was told, was that I enjoyed the drinks I must pay for them. Sincerely, I thought it was part of the package, since we were unaware until we were checking out. We were also told we were not the first to complain about. The manager even threatened us, and this is while we were running out of time for our flight. Also, we were told transportation was available, to drop us at the airport, but we waited in vain. They kept saying the driver was not available.

Room was okay with pool view. No toothbrushes offered. I couldn’t get 2 keys to work simultaneously together. Once reception activated one key the other stopped working. The restaurant staff is so unprofessional. I went downstairs to the ground floor restaurant and the waiters kept chatting among themselves even while taking my order. Another time I called reception and this guy just hung up even before I’d finished talking. The hotel is great however the staff is a mess.

The hotel is the best I have been to in Douala. It is not a 5 stars hotel but it has all we need and it is clean and comfortable. That being said, the internet was VERY bad and when I'm saying bad, I mean AWFUL. You clicked on a link and waited 20 seconds for the page to charge, sometimes more. Also, when I got to the counter for check out, there were two clients before me and I had to wait for an hour to check out, that is how fast it was. No one was mean to me. The staff was nice but you have to know these things before you book.

Staff need to be more attentive to clinet needs.

Short stay only. Food was needing a bit more attention (seafood under cooked), staff need to be more attentive rather than sitting watching TV especially as there was only two guests in the dining room.

Very basic hotel for the price , may be in another country, this would have passed off as an yet another hotel, but given the choice in Cameroon, this is one of the better choices.

A very nice hotel with good accommodations.

First it was not pleasant since they did not recognize the payment made to Expedia, however, Expedia rep was very nice and professional where the problem was resolved. The service is very good in the hotel. My favorite hotel so far in Douala. Rooms are very comfortable. Maintained very well. The gym needs some work.

For the price you would expect it to have a spa, a hammam?
The ladies staff are okay they make an effort to smile.
The men staff are just plain rude and slightly arrogant.
The rooms are really nice, although I like carpet and they have none.
The location is easily accessed and feels secure.

Bon confort pas trop loin de l'aéroport

De construction Chinoise (il me semble) et situé à 10 minutes de l'aéroport cet hotel propose un confort convenable avec une bonne literie, des chambres propres et pas trop petites, une propreté sans reproche.
Certes l'hôtel est sans charme mais l'essentiel est présent ce qui est pas fréquent à Douala
Personnels attentifs et petit dejeuner convenable. Restauration non testée.
Rapport qualité prix très convenable donc.
