Great location, close to Waitemata train station good 10 minute walk there, bit more back up hill. Great we had a sliding door we could keep open during the night as we're not a fan of the air con going at night. Bed was super comfy, but the bathroom was very small. Lucky we aren't big people. Would stay again

Washing machine didn't work we reported this and Unfortunately by the time it was fixed we didn't have time to use as had a busy last 2 days with trips booked .
Also kettle was leaking we mentioned this about 3 times and it never got changed so in my view Dangerous.
There was a luggage label on floor by tv which i assume from the guests before us , room cleaning staff obviously not checked properly.
The bed linen and towels were clean .
Room very tired , so all in all disappointed, would not book there again .
Staff members at reception and bar/restaurant very friendly.

Definitely not a 4 star as advertised, 3 star more reflective of standard of room.
Large building happening next door, which our room was right next to - so was woken with a lot of noise from that.
Had to wait 15 mins on arrival for a room to be allocated to us, despite it being past the check on time

second night no hot water
I have a long journey bavk to NZ
and could nit havr a long warm shoewer, I had to take cold shower before I leave to dine, then I got back to have a shower and still no hot water, terrible experience.

I wish I could have a giod time, but not really
dirty carpets as well.

Please improve so other gursts can not suffer again like I did.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a good location and is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was a bit cramped however and not as spacious as described and shown on pictures on website.

Won’t stay here again. Poor service.

Every time I called the reception for help (check leakages from washer) or bring something (clothes hangers, towels) to my room, the staff at the reception will tell me he/she is the only person at the reception and is very busy at that moment, hence, could not attend to me. He/she would ask if I could go down to the reception to pick up things I needed myself. When I’m at the reception, there were no other guests and I’m not sure what the staff was “busy with”. They also took very long to pick up calls when I called them. WiFi in the room was very unstable. It was raining heavily one day and I asked if I could borrow an umbrella. The staff asked for my room number and then told me I couldn’t borrow the umbrella since I was staying there?!?! I was puzzled! I asked if they only loan the umbrella to non guests! She then told me to pay AUD20 fo borrow an umbrella. What? I wanted to borrow, not buy an umbrella!

Dirty bed sheets, no house keeping for days until you ask. Reception had no knowledge of surroundings areas. Spa and sauna not working. We left our stuff at hotel and they didn’t find for us and most likely chucked in a bin. Our sheets were stained . Never recommend anyone for this hotel.

the ground floor eating area was feezing cold, very inhospitable. The Premier Suite had no dressers, place to put clothes, only 3-4 hangers in the closet which was very small. this is not Premier it is basic.
it is evident that the property is in decline.

This property appears to be a former run down apartment building where the previous residents had parties all the time. The elevators are the slowest in NZ, wait time can be as long as 10 minutes. The door jams all had serious damage and the bathroom was poorly lit and various repaired tiles in the shower that didn’t match. The carpet needed to be replaced and the furniture had stains all over them. Very dirty kitchen/laundry area with slim to no utensils. The staff was nice and the location is good…honesty that is all that is good. Wouldn’t recommend staying there to anyone.

We had a good stay at the Quadrant. Lady at front desk didn't seem very enthused to be there, but man was very helpful. Nice view from room and all amenities you could imagine. Very handy with having a family. Bed in one of the rooms was unfortunately broken though

I chose this property for its location and price. Great location, and it's cheap, but I expect to be given what they are advertising and I did not.
The room was in very poor condition. The bed and linen were great, but everything seemed broken or not working.
Heat pump (aircon) didn't work and was old. It whirred and tried to start then stopped.
The bathroom exhaust fan did not work.
The shower head dripped all night.
The phone was strangely unplugged from the wall socket. And when I plugged it in to the wall to get reception, she informed me that no one was able to help. I rang again and there was no answer.
The Tv remote had no batteries and the concierge was not able to come to my room to sort these things out. So, I used the batteries from the aircon remote but still the tv didn't work.
The bathroom cupboard was falling off its hinges and wouldn't close properly.
It took many trips down to the front desk to try and fix the situation, but all to no avail. I suggested another room and she said there was none available. I said I wanted a refund, she said no refund policy. 2 hours later she found me another room, which I could not access, the door lock was faulty. She was required to come up and use her computer on the lock.
The new room was refurbished, new appliances. Bed was good, linen fresh.
Everything seemed to work, until I wanted to watch Netflix which said there was a connection problem.
If all you want is a bed & shower, then that is what you are paying for.

Great property to stay away from home. Very cozy, perfect location. So many beautiful shops with a lot of unique things, good bars and restaurants. Pool hall and laser tag close by. Beautiful rooms, this is my 3rd time staying here. Only downfall is checking in after-hours, had issues trying to get inside. Communication wasn't there. I waited outside for a bit then someone let me in who was going out and I sat inside waiting for someone then finally realised there was an envelope with my name on it on the table along with others. The after-hours call centre didn't seem to tell me any of this and they said someone will come see me soon. Noone did.

Tolite seat would not stay up so i was having to hold for my son the room was smelly like never aired and dusty we all got sick. However they tried to accommodate us and gave us option of another room which was kind. Also a big black full rubbish bag was left by the lifs for like 24hours yuck was there when we arrived at 4pm and still there folowing afternoon. I told them.

Has a washer/dryer, kitchenette, better tv than other places I’ve been to. Comfy bed with warm blankets, good closet space. Shower has a great pressure and lovely smelling body wash. Spa and restaurant with Buffett, great dinner menu at a good price too. I had butter chicken for $16.
Reasonable pricing compared to other hotels. Definitely my favourite place to stay.

The weekend stay was as always very good but just with one exception this time - we were in room 2004 (in on 17th and out on 18th May) and the shower was completely blocked. Two quick showers of 3 minutes each before the shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Definitely a one off random event and we notified reception.

Great staff! Very helpful in a stressful time, as we were in Auckland for my mother’s surgery, and we didn’t know the area at all.

Location is very convenient if your needing to visit the hospital multiple times a day, also has multiple shopping locations very close.

Only downer would be the construction outside the building, luckily I’m an early riser and I was always up before construction begun.
Although the rooms were well noise insulated, I liked my sliding door open.

The WiFi was terrible. Room kitchen drawers were screwed. Air conditioning was sounding like generators. Bathroom exhaust was not working. On Expedia and on hotly website the good pictures were mixed to sell this room.
No good hotel and misleading advertising.

Our room was filthy. There was mould in the shower, old hair ties and paper clips on the floor. Hair on the wall of the bathroom. The hairdryer had a sticker on it that said for rectal use only. I wish I was kidding. Bathroom is tiny. Stay next door at the Pullman, I know we will be next time.

There was noise from work being done with power tools above us, just as a courtesy, it would've been nice if the staff had acknowledged that. There is a high amount of traffic with students and apartment owners all using the same three elevators, one of which was out of service. The room felt very worn out; damage to the chain lock on the front door, remnants of stickers and adhesives on the walls, loud, creaking hinges in the bathroom. There was an uncomfortable lump in the bed which made for a poor night's sleep. The apartment was big yet the space felt cramped and poorly utilized. The process for parking seemed unnecessarily complicated and was more difficult and felt less safe than at other locations. It was more expensive than other places I've stayed at in the CBD yet it fell short of my expectations.

Good central Auckland hotel.

Pretty central to the Viaduct, Ferry Building and Uni of Auckland etc. We had a view of the Sky Tower amongst other buildings. Rooms were good and bed was comfy. They let us chrck in early without fees (front desk specifically pointed this out). On a bit if a hill so need to be okay with the dlope. Amenities were good and US traveller liked they had creamer!

Having a separate lounge with a harbour view for the room price is amazing! It was especially lovely to be welcomed with a card and gift as return customers. The Quadrant is not Auckland’s flashest Hotel but there is nothing that compares for the price with the same space and facilities - we will be back!

Terrible service. We had a room booked for 3 people. We arrived and was only made up for 2 people. We tried to call down to reception but unable to dial out. We went down stairs to collect bedding, took them a good half hour to get a blanke, 1 sheet, and a small pillow. Advised the staff member I needed a pillow case for the pillow but this was a big problem to get it. No duvet cover on the duvet and wouldn’t give me one. Was provided only one sheet even when I asked for another to use as a top sheet. So I had 1 sheet under me to put on a tiny uncomfortable couch, a duvet on top of me with no cover, and a very small pillow case with no cover. The room only had 2 of each kitchen item (plates, knives and forks etc) even though we paid for 3 people.
When we checked out, got over charged for room service and then was made to feel like we were lying criminals when we asked about the charges they were making us pay, after half a hour and a very unprofessional argument in the reception area, we finally got charged for what we had actually ordered. Will never go back, really terrible service.
Can tell money was spent in the foyer area to make it look beautiful but the rooms were not good.

Check in was great! Then was down hill! TV didnt work, microwave was a fire hazard front panel detached exposed wires, dishwasher doesnt work, new lady at front desk was so rude and racist! Refused to change room or help! Bathroom and bed had long black hairs on then and some of the dishes were filthy!

Nice clean room, easy check-in, air conditioning was noisy but very effective. Internet only worked one night out of three. Advertised Netflix etc... did not work. No spare blanket (to offset the cold aircon! so I shouldn't complain too much!) No one at the desk when I went to check out and had to wait about 10 mins (there was no key drop box).
